special two: summertime love
Edit: oof okay I didn't realize how confusing it would be with so many kids but just keep in mind while reading that Tae and Jeongguk adopted 4 kids here and Tae has a little sister named Sunhi and Hana and Hobi have a baby girl!

Jimin was lost in his thoughts as he replayed all his precious and favourite memories with Namjoon in his head. Including the first day they met in summer school, where the two were bickering about who gets to be the leader of the line where in the end the teacher made them hold hands and lead the line together, their first kiss on the rooftop, their first date at an arcade, and both of them proposing to each other at the same time.
It was a funny story, actually. The two were celebrating their anniversary at their favourite restaurant, both were too jittery to notice the other's nervousness. Jimin gathered up the guts to pop the question first. When he saw Namjoon initial reaction where he asked are you serious, Jimin's was sure he was about to get rejected. Then Namjoon laughed and reached into his coat pocket and pulled out a ring box of his own. They exchanged Jimin's rings and saved Namjoon's for the wedding.
There hasn't been a single moment since where Jimin had second guessed their decision. He knew from day one that Namjoon would be in his future, he couldn't imagine one without him.
"You're so fucking hot."
"Shut up," Jimin laughed and rolled his eyes, getting snapped out of his stroll down memory lane. Taehyung shook his head from his seat on the chair while Jimin kept readjusting his suit.
"I'm serious. If only Namjoon hadn't put a ring on your finger..." Taehyung said getting up from his chair and walking to stand right beside him.
"Hey, don't let Jeongguk hear you!" Jimin said and turned around.
"No one has to know," Taehyung said playfully and raised his brows. Jimin pushed his shoulder and laughed, Taehyung joining him.
"I'm kidding," he stretched. "You actually do look stunning, though. But speaking of Jeongguk, I left him with the twins. Better go check on them."
Jimin nodded. "Tell those munchkins to stop calling me shorty."
Taehyung laughed as he walked to the door, recalling the nickname Jeongguk had taught the two as a joke which unfortunately stuck. Before Taehyung could even open the door, the door opened first and Jin walked in. The two shared a smile and Taehyung made way for the man to enter.
"Damn, looking hot as fuck," Jin said.
"That's what I said!" Taehyung yelled as he closed the door behind him.
"Was talking to my reflection, babe!" he heard Jin yell. Taehyung laughed and shook his head. He walked out of the house and into the venue set up in their backyard. He scanned the entire area until he found Jeongguk holding two children in both in arms. Taehyung jogged over to them with an amused smile.
"And what's going on here?" Taehyung asked catching his breath.
Jeongguk sighed. "They both want to be carried by daddy. How about one of you go on over to daddy Tae? Who's it gonna be, Heiran or Byeongsul?"
The two four year olds both jutted out their lips and shook their heads, clutching on tighter to Jeongguk. The twins glared at each other. They made everything a competition between them.
Taehyung smiled and crossed his arms. "Must be so hard being the favourite, huh?"
"Yeah, very," Jeongguk replied, readjusting the two around his hips.
"Taehyung-ajusshi! Save me!" a giggle girl came running around Taehyung's feet.
"Woah there," Taehyung yelped, raising his arms up and letting his daughter and little sister run around him.
"Oppa, catch her!" Sunhi yelled chasing the girl. Taehyung chuckled but decided to follow his sister's order and caught Aecha in his arms, holding her in a tight hug.
"Ahh! I've been betrayed!" the seven year old girl yelled dramatically. Sunhi clapped and jumped as Taehyung let go of the girl.
"I'll give you five seconds!" Aecha said and Sunhi began running. "Five! Three! Zero!"
Jeongguk and Taehyung smiled watching Aecha run after Sunhi. The two had only recently welcomed her to their family and they were scared how's she'd feel about it all but Aecha seemed to fit in just well.
"Father Taehyung, Father Jeongguk," a voice greeted them from behind. The couple turned to look at the nine year old.
"May I dip a strawberry in the chocolate fountain?" he asked, gripping onto his book tightly.
Taehyung smiled, confused why the boy was asking for his permission. "Why of course you may. You don't have ask for our permission for this, Minjun-ah."
"But Aunt Sunhi told me I was not allowed to because Father Taehyung said sweets are bad for you," Minjun explained.
"Yes if eaten in large consumptions. You can eat an adequate amount if you know when to stop," Jeongguk answered, knowing Minjun liked when they used "big boy words" with him.
"Thank you, Father Jeongguk," Minjun said with a wide smile.
"You also don't need to call Sunhi 'Aunt', she's around your age, call her nuna," Taehyung said with a laugh.
"How else would I show my respect?" Minjun reasoned. He bowed to his parents and gave a quick hug to Taehyung before running off to the snacks table. The two smiled looking in his directions until the twins began to groan.
"I want to give daddy a hug too!" Heiran whined.
"Me too!" Byeonsul copied her. The two began to squirm in Jeongguk's hold and he had to quickly set them down before he lost his grip. They each grabbed onto a leg and held onto it tightly. Taehyung laughed and tried to hold them without losing his balance.
"Oh god, okay, kids look at me," Taehyung said and the twins looked up along with Jeongguk, confused. Taehyung grabbed Jeongguk's arm and pulled him close then laid a kiss on his cheeks.
"Ahh, I wanna kiss daddy!" Byeonsul started and Heiran echoed. They let go of Taehyung and grabbed Jeongguk's arm to pull him down. Jeongguk laughed and crouched down, letting them both give him a kiss on his cheek.
"Woah, can I have some kisses too?" a new voice entered. The twins forgot about their parents and turned around.
"Uncle Hobi!" they yelled at the same time and ran to Hoseok. Hoseok crouched down to catch them both in the hug.
"Oh, she's just precious," Taehyung said looking at his niece.
"She looks just like Hoseok-hyung," Jeongguk noted. "How are you, Hana?"
"Oh tired, very tired," Hana said with a smile.
"Ayo, Auntie Somi in the house," Somi came in saying. The twins once again forgot about Hoseok and ran over to Somi. All of them have been fighting for the favourite aunt or uncle title and somehow Somi always managed to win.
"Guys, meet my boyfriend, Henry. Yes, he understands and speaks Korean," Somi introduced the blond man standing beside her.
Everyone said their greeting and thanked him for coming. Then there was an awkward silence that the twins thankfully broke.
"Auntie Hana, can I hold baby?" Heiran asked innocently and of course Byeonsul wanted to as well.
"Of course, but let's sit down first, hm?" Hana said and the two nodded eagerly.
"Ooh, I'll come with. You four chat," Somi said, flashing a thumbs up at a nervous Henry before leaving with them.
"So," Jeongguk began, his tone and posture suddenly intimidating as he put his hands in his pockets. "Are planning on taking my sister away to London after marriage?"
"M-Marriage?" Henry stuttered, caught off-guard.
"I thought he knew Korean, Gguk. Can't believe he's already lying to our Somi," Taehyung said and crossed his arms.
"No! Never!" Henry quickly said.
"Ah so he does understand. Then... he must not have any plans of marriage?" Jeongguk said and titled his head.
"Woah, so you're just messing with his sister?" Taehyung asked.
"Tch. This isn't right," Jeongguk said and crossed his arms.
"Oh my lord, leave the poor guy alone you two," Hoseok said looking at the man that seemed to be on the verge of a breakdown.
Taehyung and Jeongguk shared a look before breaking out into smiles. "Sorry, sorry, we're just messing with you. Jokes aside, it's really nice to meet you Henry, we've heard lots about you."
Henry let out a sigh of relief. "I've heard a lot of good things of you too. I'm glad I got to meet you."
Hoseok shook his head and stepped over to stand beside Henry. "Don't worry buddy, I went through the same thing. We're in the same boat here. Let's get away from these devils," Hoseok said. He pointed towards the snacks table and led Henry away.
"He seems like a nice fellow," Taehyung commented.
"His Korean is really good too," Jeongguk said nodding, looking over at the man but his head turned back when he felt a pair of arms wrap around his waist.
"You look beautiful," Taehyung said. They had brought all their clothes to get ready at the venue so Taehyung didn't really have the opportunity and time to see Jeongguk all dressed up and just appreciate the man for all he was.
"You too, Softie."
"Hm, haven't heard that one in a while, Bun," Taehyung said.
"And haven't heard that one enough," Jeongguk said. He's found to really love that pet name. He uncrossed his arms to cup Taehyung's face and pull him in for a kiss.
"Stop stealing the show at someone else's wedding."
They both smiled in their kiss before pulling away, already knowing who had interrupted them.
"Hey, Yoongi-Hyung," Jeongguk greeted. Taehyung let go off one side of waist so that they could face him.
"Hey, Yoong," Taehyung said but then his eyes went wide as he noticed someone entering the venue behind him. "Holy shit, is that Principal Lee?"
"No way." The two other men turned their attention to the gate. A grin began to form on all their lips.
"Damn, it is. He looks exactly the same," Jeongguk commented.
"Principal Lee!" Taehyung yelled waving a hand to get the man's attention. Mr. Lee searched for the voice until he spotted the three, his face instantly lighting up. He walked over to them in a hurry, stretched out his arms and got them all in an unexpected group hug.
"Woah," Yoongi sounded getting squished into the hug. Mr. Lee finally let them go and looked at them all with a proud smile.
"Look how you've all grown," he said, his lips curving down as he placed a hand over his heart.
"Mr. Kim and Mr. Jeon, long overdue but congratulations. I'm sorry I couldn't come to the wedding," he then said sincerely.
"Thank you," Jeongguk said for the both of them.
"We weren't expecting you to come to this one either but we're so glad you did. Don't lie, you missed us right?" Taehyung asked.
"Oh of course! With my two troublemakers gone, the school was once again peaceful. Felt like I didn't have a job to fulfill..." Mr. Lee said and the three shared a look.
"Well we missed you too," Jeongguk said and Principal Lee's eyes widened. Never in a million years did he think he'd hear that from him.
"I'm glad you guys didn't ignore me. I know no one here," Principal Lee said, shaking his head.
"Well you should sit with my fiancé and I. Jin and his family are also there. These two and their kids are at the table right next to us," Yoongi offered.
"Oh that would be wonderful," Mr. Lee said. Yoongi smiled and lead him to where they all sat.
"He really hasn't changed a bit," Jeongguk repeated. He watched Mr. Lee until he felt a hand linked with his. Jeongguk looked at Taehyung who carried a suspicious smile. Without another word, Taehyung led him inside the banquet and to a random storage closet where extra plastic flower decorations laid out randomly.
"What're we doing here?" Jeongguk asked. Taehyung dropped the hand but quickly grabbed the man's waist and pressed him against one of the tables.
Taehyung, with his smile only getting bigger, brought his face close Jeongguk. "We were disrupted."
Jeongguk rolled his eyes. He bit the insides of his cheeks to stop the smile threatening to show, although that didn't work as his glittering eyes gave it away.
"We're literally at our friend's wedding. Keep your dick in your pants for one day, hmm?" Jeongguk said and crossed his arms.
"Hey! I just want kisses," Taehyung said and nuzzled his face into the crook of Jeongguk neck, pressing light pecks all over it.
"Mhm, sure," Jeongguk mused but tilted his head to give better access. When he felt Taehyung's teeth sink into his skin, Jeongguk grabbed his hair and pulled away, causing Taehyung to let out something between a whine and a moan.
"The guys will clown us for the rest of eternity if they find out we're doing this right now," Jeongguk said and Taehyung pouted. Jeongguk loved his cute little pout and he couldn't help but lean in and kiss his pout until it turned into a smile. Jeongguk always did that. If Taehyung ever got "upset", Jeongguk would kiss him until he forgets.
"Gguk," Taehyung called out when Jeongguk pulled away.
"Hm?"
"I love you."
Jeongguk snickered. "I know."
Taehyung pinched his waist not getting the reply he wanted. Jeongguk smiled and threw his hand over his neck.
"I love you too, you big softie," Jeongguk said and pulled him in for a hug. Taehyung pulled him by the waist to return the hug, but felt a little weird feeling how tight Jeongguk was holding onto him.
"You okay, baby?" Taehyung asked softly and Jeongguk nodded into his shoulder.
"Yeah. I don't know, just seeing all of this, our friends, our kids, our family... I'm just really grateful," Jeongguk said then pulled back to look at Taehyung. "I realize how goddamn lucky I am to be with you," he said and placed a quick peck on his husband's lips.
"Pft, I'm the lucky one if you ask me," Taehyung said. The two would've probably gagged if they heard the words in any rom-com movie they watched, but when it came to themselves, they were cheesy as fuck and didn't care at all as they both giggled like teenagers.
"We should probably head back now, Minjunie might start to freak out if we're not in his line of vision for too long," Jeongguk said.
"Oh shoot, you're right."

Namjoon stood in front of his mirror and looked at himself nervously. He'd been waiting for this day for so long, planning and imagining what it'd be like. He didn't know why he felt so anxious. Sure he was getting married very soon, but Jimin and him have basically been married for the past several years. They even moved in together and got a puppy. Yet still, there's still a voice in the back of Namjoon's head reminding him that this might all be a dream he'll wake up from soon. It just all felt too good to be true.
He hasn't seen Jimin yet. They saw each other in the morning but he was in a dazed state, only remembering Jimin kissing his forehead then leaving to get ready. Call him crazy but he actually really missed him, even though it's just been mere hours. Namjoon wanted to see him and just hug him until all his nervousness disappeared. Wanted to lie on Jimin's lap and let him run his fingers through his hair which always calmed him down. Wanted Jimin to whisper sweet nothings to him until he successfully got Namjoon to crack a smile that Jimin never failed to compliment.
Then he realized, he was going to have that and so much more for the rest of his life.
Namjoon was snapped out of his thoughts when he heard his door open. He turned around, not seeing any one but then his eyes trailed down to see the little girl sneaking into his room and quickly shutting the door. Namjoon was confused yet amused as Aecha finally turned around to see him. The girl was a little startled but brought a finger to her lips.
"Shh, I'm hiding from Sunhi-nuna," Aecha whispered.
Namjoon made an 'o' with his mouth and nodded. "Well in that case, come sit here," Namjoon said, turning the barrel chair that was just big enough to hide her little body. Aecha smiled wide and ran over. Namjoon lifted her up to help her get on her seat.
The girl giggled and Namjoon cocked a brow. "What?" he asked, crouching down to her level.
"You look like Prince Charming from my storybooks," Aecha said.
"Do I?" Namjoon replied with a grin.
Aecha nodded. "Is Jimin-ajusshi your knight in shining armour?"
"Why yes he is, how did you know darling?"
She leaned closer to him as if she was sharing top secret classified information. "I saw you k-i-s-s-i-n-ging," she said and giggled again.
Namjoon gasped. "Woah, aren't you the little detective."
"Taehyung-ajusshi says that too!" the little girl beamed, showing a big smile that quickly dropped when they heard two little knocks at the door.
"I'm coming in," they heard Sunhi's voice yell. Aecha gasped and looked at the man. Namjoon got up and turned the chair so that it faced the wall.
"Did Aecha come here?" Sunhi asked, looking around the room.
"No, I haven't seen her today," Namjoon lied but there was no point as Aecha began to to giggle. Namjoon smiled down at the chair watching the girl give herself away.
Sunhi laughed and ran up to the chair. She tapped the top of her head and screamed, "You're it!"
Aecha groaned and hopped off the chair, watching Sunhi run off. The girl pouted and looked again at Namjoon.
"I'm sorry, Aecha," Namjoon said.
"It's okay," she replied, her shoulder's slumping.
"Chin up, champ," Namjoon said and ruffled her hair. "Go catch her!"
Aecha smiled and nodded. She motioned him to crouch down with her finger and when Namjoon did, she laid a tiny kiss on his cheek before running off. Namjoon chuckled and stared at the door the girl left through.
Namjoon realized how he couldn't wait to have a child of his own with Jimin. To start his own family and that today was just the first step into their new chapter.
•—•—•
This was it. It was the moment everyone was waiting for, especially Namjoon and Jimin. They stood at opposite ends of the room, waiting for the signal to begin walking so that they could meet each other in the middle and walk down the aisle together.
Namjoon's and Jimin's eyes met and they both smiled wide at each other. They understood now why no one let them see the other until that very moment. The wait was so worth it to see each other in the suits they picked out months ago. Namjoon bit his lip as his eyes began to water and he knew Jimin saw it too when he threw his head back and laughed.
They were finally signalled to walk. They both took in a deep breath and took the first steps. Soon enough, they met at the middle and Jimin was still grinning over Namjoon doing his best no to let a tear slip. They linked arms with each other and began their path down the aisle.
"Remember when you were teasing me last night that I'd cry like a baby? Now who's the baby?" Jimin whispered to his husband-to-be. Namjoon chuckled and stole a glance at Jimin, finding that his fiancé also has glossy eyes.
"Ah, we can't both be crying, the guest will laugh," Namjoon whispered back and heard Jimin's soft sigh.
They finally made it to the alter and said their vows. It all passed like a blur from the ring exchange and the I Dos, and in the end when they were to kiss, Jimin and Namjoon couldn't feel any more happier.
Everyone cheered as the couple pressed their lips together for a sweet kiss. It was a moment that the two would never forget and they couldn't be happier to have everyone they loved be there to witness it with them.
"We're married," Jimin said softly after pulling away from the kiss.
"We are," Namjoon replied and pulled him back closer. They turned back to all their guest and walked back down the aisle, throwing their hands up as music began to play along with everyone's cheers.
Another step into their happy ever after.

Taehyung fell back on his bed with a relieved sigh after finally getting everyone to brush their teeth, change into their pyjamas and tucked in bed.
"What a day," Taehyung muttered looking at Jeongguk patting his face dry with a towel.
"Mhm," Jeongguk hummed back, throwing the towel on a chair and walking over to Taehyung.
"What?" Taehyung asked, watching his husband just stand over him with a look in his eyes. Jeongguk shook his head, a smile making it's way to his lips. Taehyung sat up at the edge of the bed a got a hold of Jeongguk's hand.
"Tell me, baby," Taehyung said, his voice soothing, and pressed a small kiss to back of Jeongguk's hand. Jeongguk's spare hand went up to caress the side of Taehyung's face.
"You're in a lovey emotional mood today," Taehyung commented, leaning into his touch.
"I don't know," Jeongguk said with a chuckle. "Must be the wedding, bringing back memories of ours."
"Yeah? Wanna get married again?" Taehyung asked, laying another kiss on his hand.
"Oh god no, the stress was too much," Jeongguk answered and chuckled. Taehyung stood up and snaked an arm around his waist, pulling him close.
"Mm, then how about we skip right to the honeymoon?" Taehyung suggested. He pressed his lips on Jeongguk's cheek, trailing some more down his jaw.
"I like the sound of that," Jeongguk said, tilting his head. "Where to?"
"Iceland? Fiji?" Taehyung began to list. Jeongguk got a hold of Taehyung jaw and pulled him to his lips. They kissed each other hungrily, desperately. It was hard for the both to get some alone time in the midst of their busy lives, especially Jeongguk, that they tried savour whatever they got.
Taehyung swiped a tongue at Jeongguk's bottom lips and he opened his mouth with no resistance. Their tongues tangled in a heated mess, both dreading the thought of having to part.
"Bali? Japan?" Taehyung continued when they finally pulled away for air. Jeongguk bit his lip and leaned in to dive right back but they froze when they heard a new voice.
"Are you going to Japan, ajusshi?" Aecha asked. Jeongguk and Taehyung sighed and smiled at each before they looked at their four kids. They stepped away from each but Taehyung kept an arm on his waist.
"What are you doing up, munchkins?" Jeongguk asked.
"I told them to we should just go back to sleep, Father, but they wouldn't listen," Minjun said, .
"We saw a monster," Byeonsul said, holding on tightly to his stuffed bunny.
"Yeah, a monster," Heiran repeated quietly, hugging her stuffed tiger.
"It was big and green," Aecha added on.
Taehyung chuckled. "Oh my, well we can't let you go back to the monster. C'mere," Taehyung said, letting go of Jeongguk and opening his arms. The four smiled and ran up to them.
Taehyung and Jeongguk shared a knowing look before Jeongguk went around to get their blanket. Taehyung pretended to pick everyone up and throw them on the bed but laid them down delicately. Once everyone was squished in the middle, Jeongguk laid the blanket over them. Then the couple joined them at either side.
"Are you going to Japan?" Aecha repeated her question from earlier.
"Mm, we're thinking about it," Taehyung answered.
"Can we come?" Aecha asked with her mouth wide.
"Of course, darling. We wouldn't go anywhere without you all," Jeongguk replied, reaching over to stroke her hair. She giggled and did a little happy wiggle.
"Daddy, can we go see baby tomorrow?" Heiran asked.
"Sure," Jeongguk and Taehyung answered at the same time, making them look at each other and sleep.
"Okay, it's time to sleep. Goodnight, angels," Taehyung said. Everyone echoed back their goodnight and shut their eyes, a smile on all their faces.
Jeongguk and Taehyung looked at each other, both sharing the same thought. This was all they ever wanted, a beautiful family to share all their love with. Taehyung stretched his hand over his children's heads and Jeongguk raised his from Aecha's head. They linked their fingers and held onto each other tightly.
"I love you," Taehyung mouthed.
"Love you more," Jeongguk mouthed back.
They looked into each other's eyes for another moment before shutting them and drifting off to sleep, both knowing they could never have a dream that could beat the reality they both live in.
