Levi POV
I threw up earlier.
I wasn't feeling all that great.
I didn't eat anything and I just couldn't. And I didn't drink any water so that doesn't help either.
I know I play like the mature one that has accepted it but I hate that this is how it has become.
I hated that we were actually getting married.
I felt like since I am older I have to be the one to make her feel better about this whole thing.
Especially since I am not one to share my thoughts completely, I just can't do that.
Hange and Erwin have been concerned about me since Y/N and I moved in together.
Truly we have had a few good moments, but I have been at work a lot and she has been finalizing things for the wedding.
We argue quite a bit though.
It is always stupid arguments but Y/N majority of the time ends up crying.
She cries quite a bit but it's obvious she suppresses a lot of her emotions and I want her to start expressing herself without feeling like she will get yelled at.
She'll be away from her parents so she has some time to grow.
We were headed out towards the reception area at the venue.
I held on to Y/N as we arrived and our guests cheered and clapped for us.
She was smiling and I smiled lightly.
We went to our table and our parents were there as well.
"So do you know what song you guys are dancing to? Y/N hasn't shared that with us." Y/N's mom directed towards me.
"I helped her pick it out. If she hasn't told you then I'll respect that and you guys are going to be surprised." I said to her.
We were going to be dancing to The Night We Met by lord huron out of Y/N's request. She had a list of songs and that was the song that I actually enjoyed.
I didn't know what song Y/N was dancing to with her dad. She never shared that with me but that was kind of cause I never asked her.
"What song are you dancing to with your dad?" I whispered to Y/N.
"I never told you? It's called Dear God." She said to her.
"I don't think I've heard that song." I said to her.
I don't really keep up with music, but I know that Y/N does end up playing a lot of music throughout the day in our apartment.
"The song is by Avenged Sevenfold. I think I have played it before." She said smiling softly.
"I need to hear it then. We'll just wait. Are we dancing first or are you and your dad dancing first?" I asked her.
I don't really know how this stuff is supposed to work.
"Its first our dance and then I dance with my dad." She had said.
So we'll be dancing soon.
"Are we dancing before or after the meal?" I asked her.
"After. Haven't I told you all this already?" She said softly.
Maybe but I haven't been paying attention.
That is another reason why we argue.
She didn't look all that happy.
I don't feel happy either.
The meal happened and it was served family style.
There was a variety of food and I must admit, it wasn't terrible. The pasta had much more flavor than the corn I'll admit.
After a while our plates and silverware were picked up and we were going to be dancing soon.
Was I prepared?
No.
Was I going to dance regardless?
Of course. I had no choice.
Its tradition and Y/N already had plans of us dancing together so I wasn't going to disappoint her.
It was really nice outside so I am really glad that Y/N decided on the outside one.
The décor doesn't look terrible.
She had a nice sense of style, especially for not being able to have a say for such a long time.
"Welcome Everyone, we are now going to have our bride and groom have their first dance. Will the two love birds please come to the dance floor for their dance." The DJ had said.
Here we go.
I got out of my seat and held my hand out to Y/N.
She grabbed onto my hand and I led her to the dance floor.
I positioned my hand on her hip and held her other hand.
She positioned her free hand on my shoulder.
Then the music started playing.
It was a little soft.
We started swaying back and forth.
"Are we going to dance later as well?" Y/N asked softly.
"If you want to we can. I am sure we are expected to dance though. I'm not much of a dancer but I am sure it can be fun. Some of my friends are here so you'll be able to meet them and see who I hang around." I said to her.
"Oh, is Eren here?" She said giggling.
"Hey relax there. But yes he is here."
"So he's your friend? I thought he just worked for the company."
"Do we have to continue talking about him?" I asked her jokingly.
I mean everyone is watching us so we have to look like we are enjoying ourselves.
She leaned her head on my shoulder and said, "It's fun seeing you get jealous because of him. So yes I think we should continue talking about him." She said chuckling.
"I swear I will pretend to pass out right now and fall on top of you." I said to her with a soft tone.
"Please don't everyone is watching. And plus you don't want any more attention to yourself that you already do, you're the groom, and you already threw up earlier. People are going to think you are either sick or malnourished. We don't need people thinking that." She said.
"Fine I guess I wont."
We were still swaying and soon the song came to an end.
I ended it with a twirl and a soft meaningless kiss on the lips.
She held a soft gaze towards me. Then she smiled softly at me as well.
Our guests had cheered at the end and I saw Hange getting teary eyed.
Even though she was aware this was all planned and we didn't have a say.
She's too emotional.
We thanked our guests for coming and enjoying this day with us and taking the time out of their busy schedules to come and share this day with us.
We then went back to our seats and not long after, Y/N and her father got called up for their dance.
Once their song played it took me a while to actually remember that she actually has played it around our apartment before.
She still doesn't look all that happy.
But then again, I'm not all that happy either.
Neither of us wanted this.
We both expected something different.
But it is already done.
There isn't anything we can do.
Other than getting a divorce but that isn't an option for us, unless we want to look bad for the press.
This is all just a hassle.
