Chapter Five

~Inari's POV~

"NEE-SAN!" Hitoshi's voice shouted from the hall causing me to startle and fall out of bed. I landed face first on the floor.

"Holy fuck! What?!" I groaned from the floor.

My door flew open. "Nee-san!"

"Is the apartment on fire?" I groaned.

"No."

"Have serial killers broken in to adbuct and torture us to death?"

"No."

"Then why are there words coming out of your mouth, it's a day off day, no school, no work, only sleep." I grumbled.

"I got a letter from UA." Hitoshi said softly.

"I'm up!" I launched to my feet, "read the words to me!"

Hitoshi chuckled softly. "I got in!"

"YAY!" I screamed at the top of my lungs, receiving several shouts from the people living beneath and above us. "Let's go celebrate!"

"...it's just general studies, we don't have to do anything to celebrate-." He began quietly.

"Nonsense! You got into UA! That's awesome! We're going to the amusement park!" I shoved him out of my room, "go get dressed."

"I am." He rolled his eyes at me before walking away.

I changed in record time into a pair of jeans and a black band tee before throwing my hair into a messy bun. I grabbed my purse and sprinted for the door. "AMUSEMENT PARK!"

Hitoshi rolled his eyes at me, though I could see him trying his hardest to fight back a smile. He followed me out the door.

Once we reached the amusement park, I slipped my hand in his and threw him a big cheesy grin before taking off at a sprint dragging him with me. I let out a loud scream to embarrass him.

"Nee-san!" Hitoshi groaned as several people turned to stare at us.

I cackled as we slowed to a stop at the ticket booth. "There is a reason behind my madness."

"I'm listening."

"Everyone who sees me acting crazy is now going to bail on any ride I get in line with them for...which means shorter wait times! I'm a fucking genius, you're welcome."

Hitoshi rolled his eyes and the ticket booth attendant doubled over laughing. Unamused by my antics, my younger brother tried his best to hide to avoid being seen with me. I sighed, paid for our tickets and dragged him into the park.

"Alright, so what shall we do first? Roller coasters? Boring Rides? Games? Food?" I asked him excitedly.

Hitoshi turned to me, his dark indigo eyes filled with amusement betraying his sour expression, "whatever you want."

"Hey, when you're doing your moody teen routine make sure you pass that memo along to your eyes because your face is saying 'oh god, you're embarrassing me' but your eyes are saying 'my big sister is the most hilarious and amazing person ever'." I grinned.

"They are absolutely not saying that." He rolled his eyes at me and looked elsewhere.

I smiled and steered him away to find some roller coasters to ride. As we got closer to the rides, the park became a little more congested. I held onto Hitoshi's arm, not wanting to get separated from him. A catty voice gave me pause as we were about to enter the queue for one of the roller coasters.

"Isn't that the mind control freak? Better not talk to him girls, we don't want to be his slaves." The whiny voice grated on my nerves almost as much as her spiteful words.

Hitoshi tensed beside me, "come on, Nee-san, don't waste your time."

"Defending you is never a waste of time." I hissed and turned around to see a group of middle school girls who appeared to be being chaperoned by one of their older brothers who was maybe a year or two my senior.

Hitoshi grabbed my arm as I moved in their direction, "no quirk!" He hissed at me.

"That's less fun but fine, I don't need my quirk to solve all my fucking problems." I grumbled and shrugged out of his hold.

"Ah! He's coming this way!" The girls cried dramatically and hid behind the older boy who looked very confused. He turned his grey eyes in my direction and smiled in that way most people smiled when they saw something they liked and thought they could attain it.

"H-hey." His voice cracked a little.

"Smooth, tell your kid sister and her bitchy friends to watch their fucking mouths." I glowered.

Hitoshi groaned behind me.

"W-what?" The guy stared at me blankly before getting angry, "hey they're just having fun and your brother is creepy, so they can say what they want."

"Is there a hospital nearby?" Hitoshi asked someone in the crowd, concerned for the man's wellbeing.

I clenched my fists at my sides before lunging with a strong right hook. My fist connected with the asshole's jaw and I watched the light instantly fade from his eyes as he dropped to the ground. "Anyone else got something to say?!" I snarled, going into rage mode.

Hitoshi grabbed my arm and wrenched me away, "yeah, like you need medication." He snapped at me as he dragged me away from the worried crowd of onlookers. "Also, why was violence your go to answer when I said no quirk? You could have tried talking or better yet IGNORING IT LIKE I TOLD YOU!"

"I'm a take action kinda person." I shrugged. "And I always choose violence."

Hitoshi rolled his eyes. "That dude was like twice your size."

"And he still went down in one punch." I pointed before being struck with an amazing idea, "oh my goodness I could be a hero too! I could be One Punch Stripper!" I grinned.

Hitoshi buried his face in his hands, "you're mortifying."

"It's my job as a big sister." I shrugged. "The day you were born a man in a chicken costume made me sign a contract that I had to make you miserable and embarrass you for the rest of your life."

Hitoshi choked on a laugh, "please get medicated."

We moved away from the crowd and the fun rides and headed to the easier rides and games until things cooled down and we could try the roller coasters again. As we were passing a game stand, I spotted three familiar people at a food stall. It was the three weird teachers from UA. The man with the shaggy dark hair appeared to have been dragged here by his other two louder friends and looked absolutely miserable. He turned his head in our direction and I did the only thing I could think of to avoid him, taking a dive behind a trash receptacle.

Hitoshi looked down at his arm where my hand had disappeared from before turning to see me crouching behind a trash can, "did you just dive behind a trash can?"

"Yes, shut up!" I hissed.

Hitoshi looked on the verge of laughter, "...why?"

"I saw those UA freaks, you'll yell at me if I'm rude to them and this was the only rational thing I could think of to avoid them altogether." I growled.

"...this was rational?" Hitoshi snickered.

I flipped him off and kept hiding. A few moments later, I groaned as I heard the annoying trio approach.

"Oh, Hitoshi Shinso, right?" The blonde's voice sounded near where I'd left my younger brother.

"Y-yeah." Hitoshi replied uneasily.

"Great job on the exam and welcome to UA." The blonde said politely.

"Th-thanks... I'm really sorry about anything my sister said or did-" Hitoshi began but I leapt to my feet to cut him off with a growl.

"They don't deserve your apology! They should be apologizing to you!" I snapped.

Hitoshi dropped his head into his hands with a groan.

The dark haired man looked highly amused. Midnight practically swooned. The blonde jumped as if he'd seen a ghost startled by my sudden appearance.Reluctantly I joined them, standing at Hitoshi's side. I folded my arms across my chest and scowled at them all. Hitoshi elbowed me in the side. I relaxed my stance and attempted to stop scowling at them.

"I don't think we caught your name the other night?" Midnight smiled at me.

"You're not catching it now ei-." I began coolly but Hitoshi cut me off.

"Inari Shinso." He sighed.

"Rude." I hissed and elbowed him back.

"I don't think you two got a chance to introduce yourselves either." Midnight looked at her two companions.

"I don't particularly give a da-ow." I hissed as Hitoshi elbowed me again.

The blonde extended a hand to me in greeting, "Present Mic."

I smirked and reached for his hand.

The dark haired man noticing my smirk grabbed his friend by the arm while Hitoshi simultaneously swatted my hand away. "What did I tell you?!" He groaned.

"They're annoying." I growled back at him.

"Deal with it." He grumbled.

"I was trying to." I huffed.

The dark haired man smirked at our banter before nodding his head to me in greeting, "Shota Aizawa."

Did he just give me his real name and not his hero name? I threw him a curious look.

"Eraser Head." He grumbled.

"Oh, that's an embarrassing hero name no wonder you didn't us-OW!" I began but cut off with a yelp as Hitoshi pinched my arm. I caught him in a headlock, "keep it up, brat, and I will end you."
