The Bloodbath
(I think that everyone has access to a map, so there it is. Orange is desert, yellow is plains, green is forest, white is tundra, pink is mountains and cliffs, and blue is bodies of water. Look in the top right corner. The small area surrounded by a thin pink line can only be accessed by climbing. The island with forests and a lake can only be accessed by swimming, or a boat if you have high enough building level. If you have any questions, pm me).

A boom went off, signaling the start of the Games. Mack watched from the Control Room as the tributes burst off of their pedestals. It became immediately clear who the fastest tributes were, as Glint, Samson, and Nell widened the gap between them and the other tributes. They all ran for the Cornucopia, aware that their speed gave them first pick of the supplies. Nell grabbed the flail, then immediately ran out, not bothering to grab a backpack. Glint quickly slid on one of the packs from inside the Cornucopia, buckled on the sword, slung the quiver of arrows over his back, then grabbed the bow and a map. He shot a warning arrow at Samson, then grabbed the arrow off the ground and ran out. It soon became obvious that Nell and Glint were both heading north, and Nell cleared the exit a few seconds before Glint. When he burst out of the exit, she swung at him with the flail, which he deflected with the bow. They struggled, Nell trying to swing past the bow and him trying to stop her. Finally, holding the flail in place with the bow, Glint stabbed her in the neck with the arrow in his hand. The sound of a cannon went off, as he pulled the arrow out and slid it back into the quiver. Meanwhile, after Glint had fired the arrow at him, Samson had grabbed a backpack and the heavy club that he preferred to use. He then ran for the southwest, dodging past unarmed tributes before they could attack him. The next three fastest were Maddox, Cloran, and Viss. Maddox grabbed a backpack and ran southwest, not daring to go near the Cornucopia. Cloran did the same, but headed north instead. Viss was the only one to go in the Cornucopia. She grabbed a backpack, a map, the brass knuckles, and a vial of poison, then ran north after Cloran. She joined him once she cleared the exit, and they disappeared into the fog. Avila and Furrow were the next ones off, each grabbing a backpack and running southeast, the firsts to do so. Furrow waited for Avila to go through the exit, then went through after. It seemed that he wanted to avoid confrontation at that point in time. Then came Kathis and Benir. They both grabbed backpacks then ran north. The two tributes met at the exit, but Benir ran off when she tried to talk to him. He joined up with Glint, who gave him the bow and arrows. Meanwhile, Kathis joined up with Cloran and Viss. Finally, the rest of the tributes went off. Ripley and Maximus each grabbed a backpack, then ran southeast and joined up with Avila. Zena and Janet got into the Cornucopia at the same time, both freezing. Suddenly, Janet lunged for the trident in the corner. Zena grabbed the axe and swung, nearly splitting the girl in half. Another cannon went off. Electri, Leif, and Alexa all joined her in the building, grabbing supplies. Zena grabbed a backpack and a rope, keeping the axe in her hand. Electri grabbed a backpack, the bag of explosives, and the trapping kit for Maddox. Leif grabbed a backpack and the two throwing axes. Alexa grabbed a backpack, the poisoning kit, and a camouflage kit. Then the group of four ran southwest, joining up with Maddox, whom Electri then gave the trapping kit to. Ruby ducked into the Cornucopia right after, grabbing a backpack, the throwing knives, and a camouflage kit. When Thoren burst into the structure, she ducked under one of the tables which held supplies, then ran out when he turned his back. Thoren grabbed the hammer, the spear, and a backpack, then ran southeast. He joined up with Avila, Ripley, and Maximus, whom he gave the spear to. Flink ran straight towards the southeast to join up with Avila, Ripley, and Maximus, unable to grab a backpack. Quinn ran into the Cornucopia after Thoren, grabbing the darts, a vial of poison, and a backpack. Jorak snatched a backpack off the ground. They both ran southeast, joining up with their teammate Furrow. Olive ran straight for the southwest, not willing to fight for a backpack. Dirch did the same, and they both joined up with Samson. It seemed that only two tributes would die in the Bloodbath.
"Mack, explain to me why only two died? It's not a Bloodbath when only two people actually die," President Jay said, voice full of cold anger. Mack winced, as Alcon and Fitz backed away.
"Sorry, sir. But it seems that they're all in alliances," she explained, not meeting his gaze. "But think about it for a few moments. If they're all in alliances, then this will turn into a huge war. The viewers will love that". Everyone held their breaths for a few moments, as President Jay stared at her.
"Fine. But it better be entertaining," he warned. Once he left, all of the Gamemakers gave a sigh of relief.
"Let's not get into the situation ever again," Fitz suggested, sitting down at his station. Marley nodded, leaning over the 3D map of the arena.
"I agree. Begin operation S-8".
North
You and your teammates hunker down in the snow, which is getting thicker. A white fog has set over the entire landscape, making it impossible for you to see anything except for some snow covered pines in the distance. You're all freezing. The starting outfits were not made to protect you from freezing cold temperatures. You need warmth, and fast. A shelter would do, if you could build it. A fire would also work. You might find a spot in the trees that would be warm enough, with the proper sleeping equipment. Or you could try to find your way out with the map, although you don't know which way you're facing anymore. There could be more options, all you have to do is think of them. What do you do?
Southeast
It's hot. So, so hot, and you need water. The sand makes it hard to move across the dunes, but you're getting there. You check the map, trying to find a water source. There, an oasis. Or you could head to the ocean, whose water could be filtered with the proper equipment. What about that mountain? A small inscription on the map says that there's a waterfall on it that runs out into the ocean. But there could be more choices . . . What do you do?
Southwest
You feel fine where you are. The temperature is good, although hot enough to make you a bit sweaty from traveling. You aren't dehydrated, although some water sounds nice. But you could really use some food. You aren't sure what it is about this place, but looking at the herds of bison makes you feel hungrier than usual. You check your map, looking for different food sources. The ocean is a possibility, if you can fish. With a good accumulated hunting skill, you and your group could easily bring down a bison. Some of the plants might be edible, but you shouldn't try it unless you're certain. Is that all of the possibilities? What do you do?
Everyone needs food, water, and shelter. But the need for shelter is stronger in the north, the need for food is stronger in the southwest, and the need for water is stronger in the southeast. You don't yet know anything about the forest beyond the mountains, or the two places with limited access. Once again, PM ME YOUR ANSWERS. It makes it more likely for me to see them.
