Nikki's POV 

"So what time can I expect you in tonight? should I wait up or not bother? I walked in to the bedroom Roman on the edge of the bed tying up his shoes, now this man can pull off anything but god he looks damn sexy in a suit "It's going to be another late one tonight I'm afraid babe, your ok with that right?" "Of course just wondering that's all" if truth be told I wasn't ok really I just want to have a nice night with my husband but I feel Paul is controlling Roman but he can't see it.

Getting up off the bed he stood behind me wrapping his arms around my waist, I leaned back into his touch as I took in the scent of his aftershave "you've got company your sister and your friends are coming over" I turned round in his arms playing with his tie "I know I just miss you when your not here"  "I will have a couple of nights off soon I promise"  "What about Paul?"  "What about him? I own that nightclub Nik not him he doesn't control me I can take as many nights off as I can" a car horn was soon heard "that's Jimmy, I'll see you later, I'll not to wake you up" he kissed me before leaving, I checked my watch 7.30 I just have enough time to get ready before the girls get here.

A little later on myself, Brie, Renee, Sasha and Naomi were all sitting in the living room drinking wine and stuffing our faces with pizza, I felt like a bad host because I hardly spoke a word since they got here "I'll grab another bottle" I walked to fridge grabbing another bottle not realizing Brie had followed she always knew when something was bothering its a twin thing I guess "You ok?"  "I'm fine Brie"  "you don't seem it Nik you have hardly said a word all night!"  "Brie honestly I'm fine"  "have you told Roman about your confrontation with Paul a few days ago?" "No I haven't and I am not going to, I'm not going to keep running to Roman every time I have an altercation with Paul and at the end of the day all that comes out of his mouth is empty threats, Roman can handle him even though he can't see he is controlling him some of the time he can handle him, so now can we drop this and continue with our girls night"

Roman's POV 

"Hey Paul are you ok to cover a couple of nights for me next week?" "it depends on why I'm covering them for" "I'm asking you because I want to spend some time with my wife is that a problem?" the look on his told me he wasn't happy about it "so basically Nikki's cried about you working to much so your taking a couple of nights off just to make her happy, well she'll be happy now she's got her way spoiled people always get there way"  "Hey my wife isn't spoiled alright I am taking a couple of nights off because I want to and because I can, listen Paul I appreciate everything you've done for me but when it comes to my marriage stay the hell out of it, forget it I'll ask somebody else"  "no no I'll do it, look I'm sorry for what I just said I just feel she controls you slightly"  "Nikki doesn't control me and neither do you, I appreciate the apology but don't ever talk about my wife in that way again because I might do something I'll regret later on down the line do you understand?"  "yes sir"

He left my office still not a happy look on his face but I don't care it's my business and I can make any decision I want and if he doesn't like it he knows where the door is.
