Being Loved

Summary: Suman Tiwari was falling in love with him, and Shravan Malhotra knew it. The girl he had loved for a decade and more was finally falling for him. These days, he didn't feel as if they were just friends, but that didn't mean that the comfort and frankness of their friendship were missing now. No, she still was his Sumo and he still was her Qutub-Minar, but there was something more between them now. A warmth of its own kind and an awareness of each other that friends didn't have...

It did something to him to know that - the awareness of more that he had felt for ages - now she felt the same...

"You and I both have to forgive the past you for her mistakes as we have forgiven me for mine, Sumo. Only then we will be able to move on," he whispered, gently taking hold of her hand as he looked at her with a tender smile.

"And, please, don't be so harsh on the past you, she was my best friend before you. I may be more attached to her than I am to you," he said, teasing her as his eyes crinkled in amusement.

Summary: Shravan should have seen it coming miles away...

And he had. He had seen it in the way the new guy had looked at her, the way their eyes had met, and how she had sat there still, just looking at him. Shravan had felt his heart trembling within his chest at the way her awestruck eyes had made the new guy smirk and hold her hand in an attempt to pull her up from the ground where she had fallen...
