After 3 years....

Siddharth was running around the mansion chased by Abhi yelling at him to stop. But sid was not in a mood to hear. Abhi was losing his patience. Not because Sid has took his fav T shirt but because sid was not allowed to run like this stressing his muscles heavily. It's been 3 years and still he was not recovered fully. Abhi lost his patience when sid was about to trip against the mat on the floor.

Abhi: ENOUGH SIDDHARTH.....stop there right now....he shouted at last.

Sid who was running around the sofa stopped hearing his shout and stood looking down. It's been years but still somewhere he was scared of those monsters and he got scared of loud shouts and yelling.

Abhi regretted instantly for shouting at him but he was also scared that sid might get some health issues if he stressed out his muscles. He went to him took him in his embrance.

Sid: i am sorry dada....he whispered clutching Abhis shirt trying to hid himself into his dada's arms where he felt safe and protected.

Abhi: it's ok bacha..i am sorry too...i didn't mean to scare u...he told him gently and kissed his forehead.

A small smile appeared on Sid's face when felt the kiss. He slowly pulled himself back and gave him the T shirt which he stole.

Sid: dada....i also want to come with u...

Abhi: do u want to roast me ganging up with her...

Sid: no...but i want to come...u are going to propose her dada....i want to be there....

Smitha: Abhi...take him too na...he looks so excited...she said while sid gave her a huge smile along with a flying kiss.

Abhi: mumma....everything has been planned to be at the late evening mom...Sid has his check up tomorrow...he will become tired if he come with me....

Sid pouted sadly hearing the word check up. The single word was still haunting him from 3 years making him go back in the memory lane. Abhi noticed his silence and again pulled him to himself.

Abhi: it's ok Ashu...past is past.... everything is alright now...

Sid looked at him with slight tears. Till his body trembled in fear when he thought about that monsters who used to be his foster parents. He was learning to overcome the fear with the love of his Dada and mumma but still at times he was back there being 16 again crying and begging for them to stop beating him.

Abhi saw the fear in his eyes and quickly hugged him. He cannot afford sid to remember those horrors again. He has worked a lot and waited a long to get back his Ashu.

Abhi: it's ok bacha....i am with u na...u are safe...u trust me right...dada will be always with u....

Sid: promise....he asked like a innocent child.

Abhi: i promise u bacha...i will never leave u...dada is always with u...

Smitha smiled with teary eyes seeing her two souls infront of her. She slowly caressed Sid's hair and sid came out of Abhi's arms and hugged her.  Abhi smiled at them. He was so glad and thankful that they got Smitha in their life. She saw them as her own sons and gave everything to them. Especially the way she handled sid and took care of him, Abhi will be always grateful to her.

Sid: mumma...tell him to take me too...

Smitha: Ashu....ur dada is telling na it's going to be late to return...

Sid: but i want to go....

" Where u want to go siddharth...."....a voice came from their behind and Sid's face bloomed in happiness.

Sid: vaishu diiiii....he screamed and ran to her and hugged her tightly. She was his guardian angel in his life. She was the one who gave this another life to him. More than being his dada's girlfriend Vaishu will be always his saviour. Vaishu smiled at his gesture and hugged him. She has always longed for a younger brother in her life. Losing her mother and brother at the time of  his  birth added to her misery and also the past of Abhi regarding his brother always made her to long for a brother. In a way Sid captured the place in her heart as a younger brother at their first meet itself.

When she saw him teary eyed with his side head bleeding, that second she wanted to protect him from the evil eyes of the society. And after seeing those scars on his body she made herself determined to protect him at any cost. But fortunately everything went good and sid happened to be the same brother whom her boy friend was searching for so long....

Vaishu: Abhi....why are u troubling sid...

Abhi: vaishu no...he is becoming so naughty now days...all because of u....

Sid pouted at his statement...

Sid: i am not naughty....

Vaishu: haa...my bacha is not naughty....it's u who is becoming so naughty and dumb now a days...now tell me where u want to go sid...

Sid: di that's....he trailed off as he knew his Dada was planning everything secretly to give her surprise, so he changed the entire thing.

Sid: no di...I was saying i don't want to go...

Vaishu:where...she asked confused same went with Abhi and Smitha.

Sid: i don't want to go to the check up tomorrow....he said in low tone. Smitha and Abhi looked at him with a knowing look why he said like that.

Vaishu who got angry suddenly pulled his ears and twisted it making him wince in pain.

Vaishu: and why is that....don't u know how much it is important siddharth....she asked again twisting his ears.

Sid: ahh..ahhh di...leave na...it's paining...ahhh dada...he said wincing pain and immediately Abhi pulled him away from vaishu and rubbed his ears.

Abhi: what are u doing vaishu....it will be painful for him...it's ok bacha...he said sid rubbing it while vaishu stood there with her hands on her hips.

Vaishu: these two idiots...she mumbled shaking her head.

Smitha: ok now time out guys....now come have ur breakfast.....she called them from the kitchen.

After having breakfast Abhi dropped sid to the college. He waited till sid entered into his block and joined his friends. He was still apprehensive of sending sid away from his eyesight alone. He was still scared what if someone snatch him away from him. Still the scene of Sid lying on the hospital bed blood gushing out of his chest was fresh in his mind. He remembered that fateful day on which he won back his brother from fate and death.

FLASHBACK

Abhi ran to the bed where sid was laying. He went took his hand in his and tried to wake him up. But due to the exhaustion and the sedative given sid went unconcious whispering 'sorry dada'....

The blood was gushing out horrifying Abhi. He looked around the room for any help and saw the doctor standing there terrified seeing the army inside the theatre room and Mr. Nandra was dragged out of the room harshly. The doctor looked at sid and then Abhi in a gaze and he came out of the trance when Abhi shouted

Abhi: WHAT THE HELL ARE U DOING THERE.....TREAT HIM...STOP THE BLEEDING....he shouted and the doctor ran to sid again.

Abhi: i will sue u all if anything happens to my Ashu...he said looking at the other doctors and staffs present there.

Doc: guys....snap out and help here...if u guys would have done something and bought some time  this wouldn't have happened ...now the boy needs us now please....he said and the other doctors started to work.

They asked Abhi to stay out but he was not ready to leave his Ashu out of his sight. He will never leave him alone from now...he will protect him with his life. Failed in their attempts lastly the doctors allowed Abhi to stay there after covering himself with sterile clothes.

The doctors with a great difficult stitched the cut which they made earlier but the blood loss was so much because of the fiasco happened...

Doc: sir we need blood..he has lost too much....his blood is a rare one...

Abhi: i know....that's the only reason he is lying here like this....he said in a cracked tone feeling he failed to protect his brother.

Doc: sir please....we need to get the blood as soon as possible...please hold on to urself....

Abhi took a deep breath and looked at Sid who was sleeping breathing through oxygen mask. Abhi caressed his hairs.

Abhi: dada will be back soon bacha....please stay safe...for me...he said left the room hurriedly...

Abhi came out of the theatre room to Mr. Nandra yelling on Avneet. She was looking scared and he went to her and blocked her view from the man who was yelling in the grip of soldiers....

Abhi: why is he here till now....

Smitha: they will take him now bacha...how is Sid....

Abhi: ma...we have to arrange blood for him ma...

Mr. Nandra laughed on hearing that.

Mr. Nandra: u think u can save him...no he is the reason I lost my father....u will also lose him...Avneet i will see u after this ends...he spat at her in anger.

Abhi quickly hid her behind him and glared at the man. Vaishu took Avneet in her embrance.

Abhi: do u think this will end here itself...

Mr. Nandra: they can't arrest me...i am a UAE citizen...they have to reach out the embassy first to arrest me...even if they reach out they can't do anything to me....

Abhi: oh...u think i will let them arrest u and nurture u in jail with protection....he asked smirking.

Mr. Nandra: wha..what are u talking about....

Abhi: u will come to know...but i don't have time...take him away...but keep it in ur mind if he escapes..then no one will be the worst than me....

Smitha: bacha...he will rot in hell for touching our Ashu...let's go...we have work...

The soldiers took him away from there and Abhi left from there to look for blood. The time was ticking and it's been 3 hours and Abhi was getting frustrated. At last checking the bio data of his entire security team he got the one with the same blood group. He sighed in relief when he was available for the donation.

They got he person to the hospital immediately and sid was given the blood. And after a torturous 12 hours sid opened his eyes giving back the heart beat to others. But he was adviced to be in bed rest strictly as the cut made on his chest was slightly cut in a wrong way because of the panic of the doctor. So only he had lost so much blood. So now he has to be taken care of completely and also not to stress his muscles too much till he given clear by the doctor.

Abhi came out of his trance when his mobile rang. The call was from the event manager. He sighed and attended the call this is going to be a long day and he has waiting so long for this.

Sid went inside the college and joined his friends. Avneet hugged him and they engaged into their own talks. Suddenly Avu remembered about Sid's check up.

Avu: sid....u have ur check up tomorrow right....

Sid sighed. Another one who is so strict with him in the matter of treatment and check ups....not wanting to get scolded from her also he just nodded in yes.

Avu: who is coming with u....

Sid: as usual...dada...why are u asking...

Avu: I want to join..

Sid: what...why...

Avu: because u hid the information about the tablet u have to eat in the afternoon from me and skipped it for a week...it was a co incidence that i met bhai at medical shop and came to know about that...so this time I will come...

Sid: huh...i forgot about that last time Avneet...wont u trust me....

Avu: in ur health matter...never...

Sid: it's not fair...he said looking away and their friends burst out laughing.

Sid: why are u laughing...

Dharan: u look so cute when u are grumpy siddharth....he said pulling his cheeks...but Avu swatted his hands away...

Avu: oiii...he is mine...keep ur hands to urself......she said making them laugh out loud and sid was blushing.

After that they went to their classes. Sidneet was in same class. They were sitting together and talking about random things. Suddenly Avu became silent. Sid noticed that and nudged her.

Sid: what happened ...

Avu: thank u sid...and i am sorry...

Sid: for what....

Avu: for everything happened before...

Sid: Avu...we talked about this already right...

Avu: yeah but because of me...

Sid: stop it Avu...nothing is because of u...it's my fate...but i am glad i could overcome it...now please don't go down the lane again....

Avneet felt the slight tremble in his voice and nodded in ok and kept silent. But still she was feeling guilty that somewhere she was also a reason.

The day went by and it was evening. Abhi left the home after getting lots and lots of love advices from his younger brother. God the boy was watching so many movies and reading so many books and now he was eating his head with those ideas. Finally Abhi escaped his lectures and went to meet Vaishu.

Abhi picked up vaishu just saying they are going to have dinner outside. Vaishu thought Sid and Smitha will join them later as Abhi lied that he is coming from the office directly.

Vaishu was confused when the car stopped in the beach. She looked at him confused and he gave a sheepish smile and quickly blindfolded her.

Vai:Abhi...what are u doing....

Abhi: shh...come with me....don't ask anything for few minutes....

Vaishu who knew him very well kept quite. But what she didn't knew was he was going to propose her for real this time. She thought Abhi was pranking her again like he did once they were in college. That day her idiotic boyfriend gave a long speech and at last asked her to accompany him to clean his room at the end as he got punishment from his mom and she literally was about to kill him....

After walking for about 5 minutes they stopped walking and vaishu knew where they were as she could feel the wet sand under her feet. The place where she love soo much. She love the wet sand more than the waves and Abhi knew it very well.

Soon the blind fold was removed and vaishu looked around in awe....the sun has literally gone home and the sky was slowly becoming dark. Still the rays of sunlight gave their way through the clouds and illuminated the sky but the starting of the night darkness was overpowering it.

There was a arch fully decorated with fairy lights and vaishu was standing under it. She looked down and saw Abhi on his one knee looking at her adorable holding something in his palms. She waited for him to start his long speech but he remained silent and looked straight into her eyes.

Vai: aren't u going to say something....

Abhi chuckled lightly and shook his head.

Abhi: I don't have to give a long speech listing out how much i love u vaishu...u know that i love u and also i will never love anyone like i loved u other than its our child...and also i know u love me...u stood by me till i reach my Ashu...it will be better if i say it was u who gave back my ashu....so i know u are the one...so just tell me will u be my girl forever ...

Vai: hmmmm..still it is a long speech only....

Abhi looked at her with done look and vaishu burst out laughing...Abhi is the only one whom she found so cute when he becomes annoyed. Still laughing she also knelt down before him....

Vai: no one can understand me and take care of me other than u Abhi....i also knew u are the only one for me....i love u....she said cupping his face and kissed his forehead.

Abhi smiled at her and showed his closed fist and slowly opened it revealing a cute diamond ring.

Abhi: i love u too forever...

Vaishu smiled at him and stood and showed her hands when he slided the ring. And she did the same...and suddenly  they heard a hooting joy sound and turned to see one of the event organiser was holding a mobile and Sid was on vedio call and he was yelling in joy.

Abhinavi sighed in relief when they saw sid on the vedio call. For second they were scared that he was there in person as the weather was so chilly there. But indeed the boy was turning into a brat...but they smiled at him seeing him so happy...there may be many vows and promises made at the time of the marriage...but here their first vow and promise was made silently....to protect him at any cost...he will be the first priority always....they went back home after taking unspoken vow and had their dinner.

The next day Abhi took Sid for the checkup. As said Avu joined them at the hospital. Sid was looking so grumpy and annoyed the way Avu was treating him like a baby...indeed sid acted like a baby when ever the doctor proceeded to check him and the next task was to get blood from him for the test.

Abhi sighed. It is going to be the toughest task. Sid will do his best to escape. Atlast after protesting for more than 10 minutes they managed to take blood from him. The test reports came after sometime and doctor was glad with it. Sid was recovering well and the doctor felt content as in a way it was him who is responsible for the condition of the boy. But still he was surprised that why sid was doing a great drama for taking blood in a syringe but at the same time he was the same boy who let him tear his chest muscle with the surgical knife silently before 3 years....

But the answer was before him itself. That day he let the doctor to kill him as he was guilty and angry on himself for hurting his Dada...he asked the doctor to tell his Dada that he loves him so much....but now being in the protective embrance of his Dada itself whom he loves the most....the childish side and the bratty side of him comes out and all of them were happy for that...even he was happy that the boy he was about to kill is now being healthy and loved by everyone....Sid reminded his younger brother in all senses. And so he can understand the mindset of Abhi also as a elder brother. He wished just good for them.

As the doctor said the reports were good and he was recovering fast Sid was so happy and they reached home. At night after dinner the brothers were sitting at the pool side and eating ice cream as sid was asking from so long. Abhi gave in as doctor said he is ok. Sid's head was on Abhi's shoulders and he licking his ice cream cone.

Sid: dada....

Abhi: hmm...

Sid: dadaaa....

Abhi: Haan...tell me na...

Sid: can i ask u something....he said in low tone.

Abhi: no...no ashu....no more ice cream....

Sid: arghh dada...i am not talking about ice cream....

Abhi: then...?

Sid: umm...that's....he trailed off. Abhi who saw him getting tensed wrapped his hands around him and pulled him to himself to which sid snuggled more happily....

Abhi: what is it Ashu....

Sid: umm..what did u to them dada...

Abhi: who...

Sid: u know who...please tell me na...i know u would have punished them...but what did u do exactly...and Avneet's chachu...what did u do with him...even Avneet is not telling me anything....

Abhi: it means no one wants u to know about it ashu...

Sid: huh ..so everyone know about what happened to them but not me....it's not fair dada....tell me na please....i want to know...u said u punished them but i didn't even saw any news that they are getting arrested....

Abhi pulled him more to himself and caressed his hairs and took a deep breath.

Abhi: Avneet's chachu was arrested by UAE police Ashu....as he was a number 1 don there his arrest was not done publicly to avoid problems....

Sid: ok ...but what about them....

Abhi: i can't tell u directly....but u can assume that they are getting punished the same way how they did to u...

Sid: getting punished....it means...

Abhi: it means what it means....now leave all that...come on let's go and sleep....u have college tomorrow....he said standing up and pulling him up too....

Sid: it's not fair dada....he whined walking along with him.

Abhi: is it ur favorite dialogue or what....how many times will use that in a day Ashu ...he asked chuckling and both the brothers entered inside the room to sleep.

Atlast the same fate which played a cruel play with the life of these brothers brought them together. May be there was some pros and cons but at the end of the day they are happy. Sid was happy in the protective embrance of his Dada snoring cutely and Abhi was looking at his adorable kid and promised again to protect him with his life and kissed his forehead feeling completed.

So guys....here i am ending Contradicted lives officially.....i thought write more in it...but u guys are not ready to give a good response which I want so why should I give u the free entertainment which includes my hard work....

Anyway this epilogue is dedicated to those truly supported me and was asking for the story constantly..i hope u guys would have loved the ending.
