His breath hitched when he found what he saw was true....his hands reached to the thing on the dresser with shaking in fear, happiness, and above all guilt...he took the thing in his hands and pressed it to his heart when more tears rolled down.

Abhi: A..ashu....he said looking down at

Abhi: Ashu....where are u...how come this bracelet is here...he asked to himself wiping away his tears.

It was the bracelet which was gifted by their mother for the last time in their life. After one week of giving this bracelet their family ended up in a tragic attack and their parents left them resulting in Sidshek going to the orphanage.

But still both the brothers treasured the bracelet with their life. It was their last connect to their parents. Abhi was confused when he saw the bracelet on the floor. But now seeing the both the identical bracelets he was sure of one thing...his siddharth was here...but how...he thought and ran to the cctv control room to check.

Abhi entered the room and saw the monitor was showing the live vedio footage. He quickly went and back forwarded the  footage. He was keenly looking at it when something caught his eyes.

The vedio showed Sid and Vaishu coming down the stairs the yesterday when they were going back to their house. They were speaking and laughing on something.

Sid took something from his pocket and that's when Abhi's eyes widened in shock when he saw that bracelet falling from his pocket he was not aware of it.

Abhi sat on the chair with a thud with a shocked expression at the same time happiness was lingering in his heart. But what made him confused was why sid was telling his name as Shiva....and why was vaishu also called him as that...did she knew his real name or is he lieing to her also...

He was thinking about everything when tears were flowing freely and suddenly the realisation hit on him that sid was living with a abusive foster parents before...he was suffering and hurting so much and his  thoughts of sid suffering alone was true indeed.

And also the fact that the brother sid hates to the core was none other than himself....Abhi was shattered when he remembered how Sid got angry when they talked about his brother. The hatred in eyes sent a chill down his spine.

Abhi: Shiva...Shiva is siddharth....my ashu...my baccha...but...but he hates me why...why do he think that i left him to suffer alone...oh god....he hates me....my ashu hates me....no...Nooo...he shouted crying out loud falling on his knees...he remembered the day he got separated from his only family his brother....

FLASHBACK.

Abhi was waiting outside the bathroom waiting for sid to come after taking bath as he could make him ready for the school.

At that time warden came there.

War: Abhishek……

Abhi: uncle.

War: get siddharth ready soon ..u are not going to school today…u have work here….

Abhi: but uncle…sid will be scared to go to school alone….

War: it’s ok….it’s for one day only na….he will manage…u are not going u have work…..

Abhi: it’s ok uncle…..let him also to  stay…..i will manage to work taking care of him also….

War: no….according to rules he can’t skip school without a proper reason….

Abhi huffed internally thinking as if they are following each and every rules there….

Abhi: uncle….

War: I said get him ready and send him to school….or else he will be getting a punishment for this doing of urs…..

Abhi got scared for this and nodded his head in ok…then the warden left and sid came to him. Abhi hugged him tightly. He was scared that he would lose his sid that day if he let him go alone….but he can’t let sid to take punishment also….he knew what that warden will do…he will lock sid in the dark room alone for so many hours. He very well knew sid is scared of dark….

Sid: dada….what happened….he asked as he sensed Abhi was upset.

Abhi: nothing sid….actually….

Sid looked at him in curious….

Abhi: sid…today I can’t come to school…..

Sid: what but why…he asked terrified

Abhi: because I..i am not feeling well bacha….i need to take some rest….so only…will u manage this one day….i promise I will never leave u alone from this day….he lied to him as he know Sid will feel bad if he comes to know that the warden makes him to do his works….

Sid: u are sick dada….then I am also not going to school…I will take care of u……

Abhi: no bacha….u know right….u can’t skip schools as per the rules…….

Sid got upset hearing this. Now he has to go to school alone today. He sadly nodded ok. Then abhi made him to eat and sent him to school.

After that he went to the warden asking what the work was….the warden gave him some new clothes and asked him to get ready.

Abhi was confused but he did as he said. The dress was new and he didn’t understood what the warden is upto….

After sometime he called him to his office. He went there to see a man and a women standing there…..He went inside

Abhi: uncle….u called me…..

War: haa Abhishek…..u are going with them…..they want to adopt u…..

Abhi got shocked hearing him.

Abhi: what no….i can’t leave sid here uncle…..i will not go….

War: Abhi please…..they will give u everything…..

Abhi: I don’t want anything other than my brother.

War: Abhishek….see….just go with them now and after some time tell them that u want ur brother also to be with u….they will adopt him also….they are so rich….they will give u everything….

Like this he literally brianwashed him. Abhi reluctantly accepted. That women was so happy….but the man with him was not seemed to be happy….he stood there frustratingly….they left saying they will wait in the car.

War: abhi go and pack ur things….u are leaving in an hour…..

Abhi: what no….i will not go anywhere without siddharth….it’s still 4 hours there for his school to finish….

War: sidharth they are in a hurry…they have to submit the adoption papers before 2 clock…and for that u also should go….so go with him and come back in the weekend…and I will convince them to adopt sid also…

Abhi: but uncle he will get scared with out me….please I will go with them after they adopt sid too……

Warden was getting irritated with his continuous rants…

War: I am telling u na Abhishek……now go with them…...sid will be ok….i will take care of him….

Abhishek went with them unwillingly. The women introduced herself as Smitha….and the man was her husband’s brother…they went to the court and did the formalities….as the registrations took so long and Abhi being just a boy of 12 years old slept in the car. They finished the formalities and the car started its journey towards Kolkata as they don’t know anything about sid…

After reaching Kolkata only abhi woke up and he was so shocked to find himself slept for so long….and he got panicked thinking of sid.

He started crying and wanted to go back to Mumbai. Smitha tried to calm him down but he couldn’t….He told her about his brother and what warden said and all…

Smitha was shocked to hear him…if he would have said that there itself she would have happily adopted him also….but she got shocked when her husband’s brother denied it…

Abhishek then only got to know that Smithas husband was a big business man and he died a week ago….they still don’t have children….so he left a will that if something happens to him…and not let his wife to be alone he asked her to adopt a child from any orphanage….and raise the child as their own….and the whole property will be only his/hers….

But what shocked Smitha was that her husband’s brother  has literally bought Abhishek from the warden giving him a great sum of amount and showed it like as adopting. He thought that if  he get a child of his own choice he will make him as his puppet and to get the properties….

But he was shocked and frustrated when Abhishek demanded to adopt his brother also on the first day itself and Smitha was also happy on that…

After knowing this truth Smitha threw her all the relatives out of her house and life forever. Her two sons will be enough for her….one was Abhishek and the another was his brother whom he said.

After clearing all the chaos from the house and the company Smitha took Abhishek again to Mumbai to adopt sid. But for their utter shock Sid was not there as it took 3 days to get back for them.

Abhi was happy when he thought sid will also be happy…but somewhere he was scared what if he is not….they asked for the adopted parents address atleast to have touch with them so the brothers will be always together….

But when they checked the address they were not there….and the warden didn’t helped them after that….

From then itself they started to search for sid….but they couldn’t find him….

FLASHBACK ENDS....

Abhi remembered how he became Smitha's son and they used to search for sid...but everytime they were in a dead end searching for. But amm these times his mind was always on sid but he didn't expected he will find his brother like this in this situation...

He wiped his tears harshly and stood up. He have to ask this to Vaishu and have to clear things about sid...after so long he has got his brother back and he will not lose him this time....
