The other person was also shocked equally. The person was standing there looking straightly at him not believing what they were looking. Only one word came from both of their mouth.

??: Siddharth....

Sid: Avu...he merely whispered to himself.

Avu: siddharth is it really u...

Sid came out of his thoughts and composed himself...

Sid: huh...no..who is siddharth...i am Shiva...

Avu: no...i know its u...what happened to u sid...

Sid: excuse me please....u have mistaken me for some one else...i..i am Shiva...he said and left from the class immediately not wanting to be in front of her.

But Avneet didn't let go of this and she also came following him.

Avu: sid stop there...

But sid was going in a haste not wanting to stop and talk to her. He was scared if he acknowledges her and anyone knows he is here then shekar and Maya will find him easily. He literally ran on the corridor so that he didn't saw who was in front of him and collided with the person.

He got shocked and looked at the person and got relieved.

Sid: di...i don't want to be here....please...he said hugging her.

Vaishu who had no mood for going to class without Abhi decdied to wait for him in the canteen. She thought to get sid also to the canteen as it was more than half an hour for the classes to start. She was on the way to Sid's class surfing through her phone when someone collided with her.

She taken aback when sid hugged her crying.

Vai: sid...what happened....why are u crying...she whispered to him.

Sid: take me from here...please...i dont want to be here...he said crying.

Vai: but what happened...she asked when he was constantly turning back and checking for someone...

Avu came following him and saw he was talking with Vaishu...luckily Avu know Vaishu already as she is senior. But what surprised her was sid hugging her and he was crying.

She vaishu was about to take sid away from there. She ran to them.

Avu: vaishu di...wait...she ran to them.

Sid literally got scared of her and hid behind vaishu. Vaishu was confused why sid was behaving like this.

Vai: hi Avu...if u want anything text me...i am little busy right now...she said.

Avu: no di...i don't want anything....i just want to know why Sid is with u and he is crying....

Vaishu was shocked to hear his real name from her. She turned to sid but he shooked his head in no telling he don't want her to know.

Avu: siddharth why are u crying....please tell me sid...her voice was so gentle as she saw him after 2 years now...

Vaishu understood that Avneet is realated to sid in someways...and she was addressing him as sid again and again...if anyone hear it...then it will be a huge problem for them.

The security guards came there as they saw sid running on the corridor crying. Vaishu told them he is ok and dismissed them. Avu saw the guards and got confused. Why sid was having guards and why they are listening to Vaishu.

Avu: can anyone tell me what's going on here...

Vaishu looked around and she took Avu and sid to the canteen.

Vai: Avneet i am not that close to u...i just know u as my junior...but please answer me honestly for my question...

Avu looked at sid who was still holding vaishu's hands and he looked so scared. She felt a pang in her heart as her best friend was scared of her and he is not at all giving a glance at her.

Vai: how do u know him Avneet....

Avu: why don't u ask that question to him di...

Vai: please Avneet answer me...

Avu sighed.

Avu: we were in same school di ..we were best friends...but after his 16th birthday he went abroad for his studies...he didn't even informed us....we came to know about his departure from his mom and dad only after 1 month.....

Vaishu chuckled sarcastically....

Vai: mom and dad...my foot...she said in a raised tone for which sid flinched.

Avu was confused why he was behaving like that.

Vai: Avneet ..i don't know if i can trust u with this...but please understand....he never went to abroad like u say....in fact he never came out of that house for literally 2 years...

Avu: what...

Vai: yes...i can't tell u everything in detail now Avneet...what happened was sid came to know about some bitter dirty truths of that couple who was his foster parents and they shut him down from the outer world...all those things they told u are lie...and they tortured him for 2 years...he just ran away a month ago from them...u can see how much he is affected by them...he is flinching just for a small change of voice or tone...

Avu: but...why he said he is shiva...

Vai: they are searching for him...so only...we changed his name...please...i don't care if u believe this or not....if u want to help him address him as Shiva or just stay out....he has suffered a lot already...i don't want him to suffer more...she said engulfing him in a protective hug.

Avu saw how he was snuggling to her. It was evident that sid felt safe with her. What ever the shit happened in the past she was still his best friend so she will also help him and protect him from any danger which is on his head.

Avu: ok di...i understand what u are about to say...but he is not even looking at me...

Vai: he is not comfortable with others than me and Abhi....it will take some time...(turning to sid) Shiva....it's ok...u are fine...ok...

Sid nodded in ok and looked at Avneet. She gave a small smile. Sid reciprocated with a small smile.

Vai: ok it's getting late for class...u guys go....Avneet i am trusting u with sid....please don't break it...

Avneet smiled at her and nodded in yes. She could feel the love and concern in her voice and at the same time some warning. She will take care of him very well.

After they left Abhi joined Vaishu and they left for their classes. Vaishu didn't told anything about Avu to Abhi.

In the break sid was about to go to Vaishu and Abhi.

Avu: where are u going si..sorry...Shiva...

Sid: to Abhi bhai and vaishu di...

Vai: oh...they will come to canteen only...come lets go..i will text her that u are coming with me to the cafeteria...

Sid agreed to her and went with her. Still Abhinavi hasn't reached there. Anand saw Sid and smirked evily. And also he saw he was with Avneet who was a good friend of him. He went to them.

Anand: hey Avneet...

Avu: hey Anand Bhai...how are u...

Anand: i am fine...hey this is Shiva right...hey Shiva...he said putting his arms around his shoulders.

Avu: u know him bhai...

Anand: yeah...i met him in a restaurent where he is working...welcome to our college man ..he said tightening his grip around him. Sid felt uncomfortable and tried to get out of his grip...but he was not leaving him and was talking so casually...soon his other friends joined. That girl shalu was eyeing him from head to toe.

On the other hand Abhinavi came to the canteen. Vaishu saw avneet's text and told Abhi about her. Not the full thing just about her being Sid's classmate and they introduced themselves in the morning...

They entered the cafeteria and what they saw was shocking them. Abhi was fuming on the sight infront of him. Sid was with that Anand's gang and that Anand was holding sid by his shoulder and they were laughing.

Abhi didn't saw how uncomfortable sid was. He fumed in anger and was about to go..He was bubbling in anger. He took a step towards when vaishu stopped him.

Vai: abhi no...wait...

But Abhi didn't heard her and went to sid startling him suddenly and grabbed his wrist and started to drag him away making him squirm in his grip in fear.....
