"Listen here, Jungkook. Your client this time wants 2 years and a month," Yoongi said, waited for Jungkook behind him who just closed the door behind him.
"Good luck, Jungkook-ah!" A cheerful, deep voice just heard behind the door, making Jungkook roll his eyes.
The door clicked to shut, and he followed Yoongi walking along the office's corridor. He shoved his hands into his jeans pockets before walking lazily.
Yoongi was expecting a response from the younger, but no words came out of his mouth.
"Yah, do you even hear me?"
"I heard you, Yoongi..."
"Where's the 'hyung' at the end?" Yoongi muttered, realising that Jungkook did not call him 'Yoongi hyung'.
He left the question unanswered, leaving Yoongi feeling unsatisfied. Jungkook could be sassier than him sometimes.
"Your client wants —"
"2 years and a month, I heard. So what's the point?!" the frustrated Jungkook asked.
He thought that the time of the contract had nothing to do with him. If a client chose him and would even want to go for over 2 years, then let her be. As long as he filled his days, stopping him from remembering his first love.
The one that he had dated for over 3 years, and the one that left him only grievances.
"Jungkook, I want to —"
"First," Jungkook interrupted him with a finger right in front of his face. He knew what he was going to say next was rude. "I ain't like you," he muttered and put down his hand.
"Second, so what if this client picks me for a long-term contract? That has nothing to do with me. I'll just go with it. And time can pass quickly, so?" He paused, staring at Yoongi coldly. It just felt like Yoongi's soul and Jungkook's just changed.
"And finally, just finish your punishment as an agent properly. There's no need to tell me here and there about what this client wants."
Yoongi stared at him coldly back. He wondered what made Jungkook like that on that day. His words pricked him. He wanted to scold him, but he knew he had no rights to do that now. He was a receptionist and an agent for a punishment, and the CCTV was watching them.
Meanwhile, the responses that Jungkook just showed to Yoongi made him felt bad. He knew he should respect the older, Yoongi had adored him since he first registered himself as a permanent boyfriend for the company. But he had no mood for a reason. It affected his emotions somehow.
Jungkook exhaled a sigh. He knew he was rude and had gone too far.
"Can we go now? My client is waiting."
Before they could move forward, Yoongi stopped him, realising that they had actually arrived at the meeting room where Nahee waited.
Yoongi exhaled a sigh before turning the doorknob and yanked the door. He leaned on the door, and the door bounced slightly with the help of the rubber doorstopper that stuck on the floor.
"Kim Nahee, this is Jeon Jungkook," Yoongi said, as he gestured at Jungkook lethargically.
He was not lethargic, actually. Jungkook still disappointed him.
Jungkook entered the room with a bitter smile, looking at Nahee. Though the deep inside, he felt bothered for making Yoongi upset.
"Annyeonghaseyo, I'm Jeon Jungkook. Your contracted boyfriend," he bowed as he greeted with a faint smile.
Nahee bowed as well to greet. She observed him with a kind smile.

Nahee and Jungkook walked out of the building, side by side. They were awkward. Nahee was shy, and Jungkook had no mood.
Nahee did not know how to interact with Jungkook. She was shy suddenly but thinking properly, they should stop somewhere to have a talk properly. Suddenly, her idea washed away when Jungkook's voice greeted her ears.
"You're going home alone?" He asked, looking down at her height to make eye contact with her.
She droned, she stuttered, "I-I... Uhm... I..."
"Miss Nahee, you okay?"
"Yeah... I'm-I'm okay. I just—uh..." Nahee nibbled her lips, trying to bear the shyness inside.
She was shy to think that she already had a boyfriend, even though contracted.
Seeing Nahee flustered somehow relieved a little sadness and anger that contented inside Jungkook. He chuckled to think that Nahee was cute.
"Let's introduce ourselves again," Jungkook uttered with a small smile that somehow handled Nahee's nervousness.
He stretched out his hand and said, "annyeonghaseyo, I'm Jeon Jungkook. Nice to meet you."
Nahee looked down at his hand that was waiting to grip hers. She thought this could be a good start for them to begin like this. After all, she was shy and was looking for a way she could speak to Jungkook properly.
She slowly lengthened her hand to reach Jungkook's and gripped his hand. Jungkook slowly beamed, and she did as well.
"Nice to meet you, too. I'm Nahee. Kim Nahee," she looked into his eyes as she said, giving out the energy of sincerity of wanting to know him.
Even though Jungkook was in a bit of a bad mood, he knew he should not act like how he acted in front of Yoongi earlier. He did not want to show the obvious face of him being upset about something to someone he just barely knew.
They stared at each other, determining to use 25 months for goods.
Nahee, to make her mother proud and Jungkook, to make himself forget someone he shouldn't remember within the time.
Also, to be the best boyfriend that Nahee ever had.

"I'm home!"
Jungkook took off his sneakers and socks, and then randomly placed the socks on the floor. He entered the living room when suddenly another tall, handsome man stood at the kitchen doorframe with a dark blue apron on his body and a spatula in his grip.
"Hi, Kookie!"
"Don't call me that!" Jungkook snapped. The man made a face when he got a scold. But then he shrugged it off.
"Hey, if you just came back from the gym, shower before you touch any of my foods."
Jungkook was hungry, and when that man had seriously warned him, then he should do as he said even though he was not back from his actual workplace, a gym.
After taking a shower and, he put on a grey hoodie and black sweatpants. He left his damp after rubbing it with a towel and then left his room. He dragged his feet to the dining room as the sight of Seokjin placing two plates filled with foods on the table greeted his eyes.
Both of them sat on the chair and have dinner together. There was only silence when they eat, and of course, Seokjin as his cousin knew what was the cause Jungkook looked so bad. He wanted to keep his mouth shut to let Jungkook cool down. But it was his routine to ask about Jungkook's activity.
"Got a new contract?"
Jungkook raised up his head to look at the older and bobbed his head. He thought, let's talk about his new contracted girlfriend today.
"How long this time?" He asked before shoving the spoon filled with food into his mouth.
"Two years and a month," Jungkook answered. Seokjin nodded his head after getting Jungkook's answer. He then smiled at him before saying, "bring her here some time. It's fun to know some girls who you will end with one day, you know."
Jungkook chuckled at the older's statement. He wanted to tease him for his old age, knowing that Seokjin would try to flirt with them, but he had no mood. There was a bit inside his feelings. He wanted to talk to Seokjin about the kinds of stuff that stressed him.
With a stern tone, Jungkook said, "I want to talk with you about something later."
Seokjin looked at him with a questionable look, wondering how urgent was the stuff that Jungkook wanted to tell until he talked in that tone. He just nodded his head, "finish the food, then we can talk."
Jungkook bobbed his head, accepting the older's command.

Nahee had been staring at her brother for quite long. During the dinner, when Namjoon was washing the dishes, until what he was doing now, playing with his phone or perhaps, he was replying to his girlfriend's messages.
Namjoon had realised for quite a while, it made him uncomfortable. It was creepy to him. He also had expected that his sister might want something from him. He had known his sister since she was a baby, and Nahee, when she wanted something, she would not just inform him straight away. Giving him a cold, creepy stare was the way.
He sighed as he put down his phone on the sofa's armrest, rested his arm on his lap, rubbing his face.
"What do you want?!" He asked in frustration and grunted. "Why did father spurt his sperm inside mother and got me a weird sister? Why, appa? Why?!" He muttered under his breath, thinking of the way his sister showing her face when she wanted something. From a creepy grin that almost resembled the Cheshire cat to cold, creepy stare that resembled the Mad Hatter when he was mad.
Namjoon had gotten used to that, actually. He hated she stared at him like a ghost, wanting to come out to 'play' with him.
"Namjoon oppa~"
"What?!"
Nahee giggled. She quickly moved to Namjoon and knelt in front of him.
"Are you chatting with Eerin eonni right now?"
Namjoon blinked his eyes multiple times. He stared at her. He slowly shook his head to deny Nahee's answer.
"So, since you're free, can you help me?" Nahee pursed her lips tightly to smile as dimples formed in her cheeks.
"With what?"
"With my boyfriend."
"I don't even know who is your boyfriend."
"I mean, teach me how to attract guys. I might want to attract him."
Namjoon stared at her blankly, blinking at his eyes multiple of time again. He could feel the eagerness in Nahee in order to know how to attract a guy, especially her contracted boyfriend.
"I thought you know..."
"Why do you think I know?" Nahee pouted her lips, also giving Namjoon a questioning look.
"You know, appa once told us that eomma was very flirty back then. I think you'd inherit eomma's gene."
Nahee looked at Namjoon as if he had done something wrong. She rolled her eyes.
"The one who inherited eomma's flirty gene is you." She made a face when Namjoon stretched his cheeks to form a smile and dimples, giggled in a low tone, somewhat feeling proud to know he got his mother's gene.
Then, Nahee tilted her head with a lopsided smile, a dimple lightly formed in one of her cheeks.
"Help me?"
Namjoon raised up his eyebrows, thinking that he would happily help his sister to attract her contracted boyfriend.
Only one way that came up in his mind.
"Just be yourself," Namjoon suggested, smiled at her with lips tightly shut and eyes enlarged.
**********
Jungkook started the conversation. "Your mother called me this morning."
Seokjin nodded his head. He got a call from his mother, who was now lived in Canada as well. He could expect what Jungkook wanted to discuss.
"I don't think I can leave Korea," Jungkook said. "I just started a contract relationship with a client, and I don't see the need to move to Canada with your parents."
To make everything clear, it's not that Jungkook could not stay on his own, he can but he was under the care of Kim's family, his cousin's family but it was not like he did not have cousins in his father's side. And yes, the idea of Jungkook was parentless might have come in your mind right now. They died when Jungkook was younger and Seokjin's family has taken care of him.
Seokjin's parents then got work offers in Canada and they had to live there, leaving their son and nephew in South Korea. They might think about leaving them in Korea was not a good idea, so they wanted Seokjin and Jungkook to move to Canada with them.
Jungkook stared at Seokjin, hoping he would find ideas to convince his parents to let them stay in Korea. Jungkook did not have the heart to leave Korea because the people he loved graves were in that country. Yet, there was half of him wanting to leave, to forget his experience of having a first love.
Another reason that he did not want to leave South Korea was Kim Nahee. He did not want to disappoint that girl for invalidating the contract suddenly. He heard from Sandeul that this was her first time having a boyfriend, and he wanted to be his best to give the great experience. You might have remembered that Yoongi was the one who interviewed Nahee and got Jungkook for her. Seeing from this point of view, you might have realised that Yoongi was still disappointed.
"Hyung..." Jungkook called.
To be honest, Seokjin did not want to leave too. If he leaves, then who will look after his café? He had no siblings other than his cousin. He had worked hard to start the business and there's no way he would decide to stop the business just to move to Canada.
"Seokjin hyung," Jungkook called again.
"I'll talk with my mother about this," Seokjin said as he got up, leaving Jungkook along in the living room to go to his room. He silently sighed as he turned the doorknob.
It was very a pressure to him, to remember how demanding and forcing the tone of his mother when she talked to Seokjin on the phone this morning.
Seokjin's mother might sound forcing and demanding when she talked to him, but with Jungkook, she used a soft tone. He could sense that there was still a demanding tone in it.
Jungkook had entirely put his hopes to Seokjin, hoping that the older persuaded his mother to let them stay in South Korea.
