*(Y/N) POV*

I and Sam are sitting on the main stairs of Schnee Manor, trying to contact the rest of our team down in Mantle

Sam: "Come on, Ryze, pick up..." he growls and gets his scroll down "Dammit... Boss, you had anything?" I shake my head

(Y/N): "Neither Ryze, Mako, Yang nor Jaune. It's not making our situation any better. Nora is bedridden, Penny is somewhere up in the sky and Salem is right by Atlas' doors..."

*meanwhile, with Yang's group, 3rd POV*

Ryze is been breathing heavily, earning a questioning look from the rest of the group

Yang: "Ryze! Ryze, what's wrong?!" Ryze looks at her with a pained expression

Ryze: "Penny... something's wrong with her..."

Jaune: "How could you...?"

Mako: "It's because we're Guardians, we can feel if something's wrong with our Maiden... Right now Penny is fighting someone... Cinder..."

Yang: "Oh no..."

*back with (Y/N) and Sam, (Y/N) POV*

I meanwhile felt some pain in my chest, knowing what's going on

(Y/N): "*pant* Cinder you bitch *pant* You will not take Penny, I won't allow you" I stand up and make my way to the doors

Sam: "Where are you going?"

(Y/N): "To Amity, Penny needs my help" I go to open the doors but Sam's vine stops me

Sam: "No, if you felt that pain, it must come from Cinder, right? That means Penny is beating her ass" I think for a second

(Y/N): "It seems so... but still if she is there, so must Tick. Pietro and grandma Maria would not-"

Sam: 'Would not what? Your grandmother is a Grimm Reaper! You said yourself to not cut her short. Come on, let's check on Nora" I turn around "Come on, (L/N), we will win this and I'm sure Penny is alright" I sigh

(Y/N): "Thanks, Sam. I should not panic over this but..."

Sam: "Hey, I told you something back at Beacon. Something happened and we're here with you, fighting side by side to defeat some Grimm master" he shrugs and I chuckle

(Y/N): "Right" I smile "So, let's see how girls are holding up" We walk towards Weiss' bedroom where we took Nora to rest. We knock on the doors to make sure they don't change her bandages

Sam: "Snowflake, can we come in?" Weiss opens up the door and hushes us

Weiss: "Be quiet you two. She needs to rest" We nod and enter the room

(Y/N): "How is she?"

Weiss: "Not too bad, but not too good. she still needs a doctor"

Ruby: "Cookie, why don't we call your mom here? She is a doctor, right?" I chuckle

(Y/N): "Ruby, she is a doctor, but in science, not medicine. I and Sam were planning to go search for any doctor out there, but with the Grimm and Atlas' army ready to intercept them we would be an easy target" Then we got a notification on our scrolls "Guys, we did it. Amity is up"

*3rd POV*

Screen down in mantle flickers with 'ATLAS EMERGENCY BROADCAST SYSTEM' only for it to change a while later, showing Ruby and (Y/N) in the video

Ruby: "Hi. My name is Ruby Rose. I'm a Huntress"

(Y/N): "And I'm (Y/N) (L/N). I'm a Huntsman"

People in Mistral's train station watch the video with shock

Ruby: "If we've done everything right, then we're talking to all of Remnant right now. Dr. Polendina and Dr. (L/N) can explain more later, but you all need to know some things"

(Y/N): "Right now as you watch this video, the kingdom of Atlas is under attack. Things are getting worse, and we need help. Your help"

Ruby: "But, please, try not to panic. This isn't some new enemy or invading kingdom. This is an enemy we've faced before... For centuries... Her name is Salem

People all across Remnant watch their message. From Saphron and her family in Argus, Ilia and Dereck in Mistral, Blake's parents in Menagerie to Sun and Neptune in Vacuo

Neptune: "Dude..."

(Y/N): "She controls Grimm, like a queen bee in a beehive. But those dark creatures are not the only thing she manipulated. The White Fang, Atlesian Drones, the attacks on the academies, and the Vytal Festival. It all happened because of her. She did it to tear down the Huntsman Academies, and later the kingdoms. All so she can get her hands on the Maidens and Guardians... who actually exists and well... you're watching a Guardian right now. She needs Maidens to open the vaults containing Relics deep down beneath Academies"

Ruby: "We know that all of this may sound crazy to you, but we can assure you that Professor Goodwitch at Beacon and Headmaster Theodore of Shade can verify all of this"

The shopkeeper in Vale turns to a stunned Glynda who watches her students on the screen

(Y/N): "Follow their lead and they may be able to send help to fight back against Salem. However... and sadly, General Ironwood can no longer be trusted. We weren't ready to fight back Salem at Beacon, but right now you all have a chance to prepare. Salem may be immortal, but she is not invincible. We've stopped her forces from destroying Haven Academy like they did to Beacon. She can be stopped. Salem is not unbeatable. She uses other people to do work for her while staying in the shadow cautiously, until now. There is a simple reason she decided to step out, she's afraid of us! Of humanity! She is afraid of how strong we could become when we fight together! She knows she can't stop us united, and she tries to divide us to make things easier for her. If we destroy ourselves, we would only do all the dirty work for her. This is why you need to know, even if Atlas falls, you must never give up. People of Remnant, I ask you... no, I order YOU to keep moving forward and fight together against our common enemy no matter what!"

Elizabeth watches this on her scroll and looks up at the sky

Elizabeth: "Good job, kids. Mom is proud of you three" she smiles. Meanwhile, on the island of Patch, Tai watches the broadcast, noticing a shiny object on Ruby's finger

Tai: "They... got engaged...?"

Ruby: "I hope Amity tower will bring us all together. Because, in the end, that's how we'll win-" the broadcast is cut off

Tai: "No! No, come back!" he grabs his head in his hands, while Zwei gets to his side and whimpers "(Y/N), please keep her safe..."

*Ryze POV*

We watch the broadcast, as it gets cut off

Yang: "That was the broadcast. Why did we lose signal?"

Ryze: "Dammit! But... at least the most important part of Ruby's and (Y/N)'s message got to all of the Remnant"

Mako: "Now we need to-" he is cut off by a sudden shake in the ground. We quickly run outside to check the scene, eventually coming upon a river of black ooze

Ren: "What... is this?" a Grimm's head pops out of the river

Ryze: "What the fuck...?"

Mako: "It's a Grimm... A river of Grimm..." he looks at the direction it's flowing "And it's going straight for Mantle..."

Yang: "We need to warn the others! Come on!" We get the hoover bike and move towards Mantle

*timeskip*

We follow the Grimm river. Yang drives the hoover bike with Ren and Jaune on her back, while I got Mako up and fly behind them

Jaune: "It's heading straight for Mantle. I repeat, a large mass of Grimm is heading straight for Mantle. Please, anyone..."

Ryze: "Do you really think anyone could reach out to us? On this snow desert?"

Jaune: "I don't know, but we have to warn them somehow"

Just then we noticed an Atlas airship flying in and landing in front of us. And if we didn't have much trouble before, now we have plenty of it, as it turns out it's Ace Ops' ship, with Winter and Harriet coming out first

Yang: "Great... you guys"

Mako: "All we needed were some mindless Ironwood's puppets. Great..." Jaune steps up

Jaune: "Did you hear our message? It's right there. We need to hurry, now" Harriet and Winter glance at each other

Harriet: "Where's Penny?"

Ryze: "Are you fucking serious? We have no idea where she is, and we don't have time for your games because we beat your asses. People are in danger"

Harriet: "People are in danger because you kids are acting selfish!"

Mako: "We're selfish?! Says the one willing to let the entire city die because her boss is afraid of-"

The ground shakes again for a moment then stops... only for a large geyser of Grimm to erupt from the river and hit Atlas' shield. We watch in shock as the shields turn off and several Centinel Grimm sprout from the black ooze and start attacking the shield's generators. The Atleasian air fleet tries to stop them, but the Grimm move too quickly before they can kill all of them and burrow beneath another generator. Two of the generators lose their foundation and fall off the side of the kingdom, and the shield itself shuts down completely, leaving the Kingdom of Atlas completely vulnerable. Just then, the giant Whale Grimm flies over the side of the kingdom, outside the city limits, and lands on the outskirts. It opens its mouth as a large pool of black ooze flows out of its jaws. From the ooze, an army of Grimm rises up

*(Y/N) POV*

I watch with Sam what's happening in our scroll.

Sam: "Oh shit..."

(Y/N): "The war for Atlas... has officially begun..." I pace out of the window and think "Military should be able to hold Grimm back for a while, but as long as that giant... Whale thing is up and spawns more Grimm, they'll be overwhelmed by time. And with panic rising, more Grimm will emerge... and then bloodshed is more than certain"

Sam: "So... what do we do now?" I sigh

(Y/N): "For the first time, I don't know. We can't go join the others down in Mantle, not while this is happening. And Nora is still unconscious" I sigh "We need more time to figure out both problems, and time is something we don't have right now, Sam"

Sam: "Man..."

(Y/N): "But... it doesn't mean we have just to sit here and watch. We've to figure out how to do something... and do it fast"

*Ryze POV*

Well... Ace Ops tied us up and loaded us on their ship. I and Mako couldn't fight them off because of our Auras being low so we surrendered peacefully.

Radio: "We can't get the hard-light shields back up sir! They've taken too much damage!" We then hear Ironwood out of the radio

Ironwood: "Then don't waste resources on them. Beta squad, the creature?"

Radio: "We've tried bombs, missiles, but we can't even make a scratch on that thing, sir" Winter radioed Ironwood

Winter: "Sir, Schnee here. Penny is still MIA, but we've apprehended Arc, Xiao-Long, Ren, Matoi, and Mankanshoku"

Ironwood: "Stand by further orders, and don't let those fugitives out of your sight, especially Guardians, we need them"

Winter: "Yes, sir, understood"

Yang: "Still just following orders"

Mako: "Don't waste your breath, Yang. That's the only thing they know, following orders and waiting for a treat from your daddy Ironwood, huh? Never once thinking for themselves, or figuring out what side they're on. You're even worse robots than those machines down there"

Ryze: "And if you think we're gonna work with you, then you are either braindead or fucking stupid"

Elm: "Shut up, both of you, and be happy you have some usage for us"

Mako: "Yeah, creating a new spine for Irondick. What? He is a spineless idiot who quit when things got too hard for him. That's your hero? That's a coward" Elm growls. However before things can escalate, we fly around the city and see the whale Grimm, along with the battlefield around it

Jaune: "That's where the Grimm took Oscar. It's even bigger than I thought"

Vine: "That's impossible. Grimm doesn't take prisoners. They're not that intelligent" Yang turns to him

Yang: "This one did. If you would just let us go-" she sits forward, only for Vine and Elm to hold her back

Mako: "You're really willing to let him die because of your fucking orders? Are you really that fucking blind, where is your humanity? Or maybe Ironwoody got some metal parts in your brains, making you do what he tells you to with no say in the matter on your side?"

Harriet: "You'd better watch your mouth, runt, before I shut you myself" Mako chuckles

Mako: "Oh, come and get me" he smirks "But, oh wait, Irondaddy told you we're needed, so shut your trap, and follow orders like a good girl you are"

Ryze: "Wow... Mako, fucking nice" I laugh, making Harriet angry beyond anything. "The only way you could beat us is with our hands tied behind our backs" Just as Harriet went to punch Mako, Winter got a hand on her shoulder

Winter: "Calm down" then, radio comes up again

Ironwood: "Cease fire. Manta squads, concentrate fire on secondary hostiles. Command is working on another solution for the creature" Winter joins in

Winter: "What solution do you have in mind, sir?"

Ironwood: "We aren't making any progress attacking that thing from the outside. But, if we attack it from the inside, it could be vulnerable. The science team is putting together a bomb" Winter gets stunned "When it's complete, we'll drop it off as close to the creature as possible. Then your team will deliver it on foot. We're sending you the coordinates now. Winter closes her eyes and opens them a while later

Winter: "Of course, sir. We will hold the point, and we will get it done. Over"

Jaune: "But, Oscar's still inside that thing!"

Yang: "You can't do this!" she tries to get up, only for Vine and Elm to stop her again. I turn to them

Ryze: "Get your hands off her" they turn to me "Touch my Goldilocks like that one more time... and I'll make sure you never reach the drop-off point" I narrow my eyes, feeling a slight mist coming from it

Elm: "Please, you're bluffing. You do that, and she'll be in danger too"

Ryze: "Are you sure? Sure, alone I would kill us all. But, with Mako here I can make the airship crash while he will keep me and our friends safe. That's... doesn't conclude you. You never saw what neither of us can do at our best. Do you really want to find out now? Especially in such a small space like this?" I give her a look that says I'm crazy enough to do it, while Mako smirks and get his hands in metal

Mako: "Your choice" his eyes got a slight yellow mist coming from them "I could crush this ship like a tin can" Winter stops us

Winter: "Elm, Vine, stow it. We've got bigger problems right now" she glares at me

Ryze: "I wonder what Weiss would think about you if she saw you right now. Getting out of Jacques' control only to become Ironwood's mindless puppet. She must be proud of her big sister" Winter narrows her eyes at me "Good thing my brother can keep her safe, not like you" Winter doesn't answer me, instead, she turns around. Her reflection in the window shows sadness "Idiots..."

*(Y/N) POV*

We stare outside the windows, watching the battle going before us

Sam: "So, any ideas come to your mind?" I sigh and shake my head

(Y/N): "Nothing. For once I wish I had any, but all I have is emptiness. Our forces are spread. We can try and aid the military, but we know the moment Ironwood finds us there, he'll immediately order his troops to capture us and the girls to get arrested or worse. And I'm not risking either Blake, Weiss, or Ruby to rot in prison. Besides, we still have Nora and we can't leave her here unguarded. And we still can't contact either Yang, my mom, or Fiona down in Mantle by that matter. Guess all the chaos in the air caused some communication problems" I lean on the wall and cross my arms, watching the battle unfold

Sam: "From what we've seen, any kind of attacks made against that whale Grimm does little to nothing. Not even my books said anything about something so gigantic. Its skin must be too thick for any missiles to do any damage but... what about its insides?"

(Y/N): "Fair point. Everything has one weakness or another, with Grimm not being an exception from it. Even James knows it and might have an idea to fight that thing... The only thing I'm worried about is how many people will he sacrifice in the process. He made it clear he will sacrifice anything and anyone for victory. It's this type of thinking that led him right into Salem's hands. Stupid fool" I narrow my eyes, Sam meanwhile stares at me

Sam: "You... you want to kill him?"

(Y/N): "No. I don't want to. But if I have to I will do it. I don't care if he will understand his mistakes, there is no redemption for him. If only he would listen to us, we wouldn't be in this deep shit right now" I turn around "And no one threatens my Rose's life. Or the lives of countless innocent people. I don't know how or by whose hand, but one is certain... Ironwood will die before this war ends"

???: "Cookie! Sam!" We turn around to see Ruby and Blake walking towards us, carrying cups with tea for us

Ruby: "We're going to see how Nora's doing. Come on" she hands me and Sam our cups. We later move on towards Weiss' room. We enter it and find Weiss sitting next to Nora as she tends to her injuries

Sam: "How is she doing, Weiss?" Weiss sighs

Weiss: "I've done all I can. She's better now than she was before, but she needs a doctor" Ruby gives her a cup of tea which Weiss gladly accepts

Blake: "Hopefully May can get in touch with the others. I hope... I hope they're okay" she looks out of the window, frowning

(Y/N): "We just have to believe they are alright. Mako is still to let you down, Blake" Sam gets next to her and looks out of the window

Sam: "As long as that whale Grimm is still alive, we're at disadvantage. It keeps creating more Grimm faster than the military can kill them. If we don't do something, the military will eventually be wiped out and the city will be defenseless"

Ruby: "But, how can we take it down? It's way bigger than a Leviathan. What can we even do?"

Weiss: "Penny sent out our message to the world, but do we just sit here and wait for help to come? If they even come" she sits next to a lit fireplace. Ruby meanwhile stares at her cup

Ruby: "How did things end up like this?" Just as I was about to comfort her, May walks into the room

May: "Fiona said your friends haven't been heard from in a while. Unfortunately, the last thing on their minds right now is a couple of kids. Come one, I've got the ship ready to head-"

(Y/N): "No. We can't leave. Not like this and not now"

May: "It's chaos at the crater. Atlas has its army, but we are all Mantle has. People are dying down there"

(Y/N): "People are dying here too in case you didn't notice. Leaving them would mean we're no better than Ironwood and I will not make the same mistake as he did"

Weiss: "May, don't you have family here in Atlas?"

Sam: "Yeah, what was his name? Henry?" May narrows her eyes

May: "No. Mantle needed me, and to the Marigolds, that meant that I was no longer their 'son' anymore. And I made sure that everyone knew that I was no longer their daughter. So, they're on their own. They've got Henry. Yours has Whitley. You understand what I'm saying"

Weiss: "I don't know about-" May snaps at her

May: "Whose side are you on, anyway?!"

Blake: "We've heard that before" May turns to her "Ironwood and the Ace Ops said the same thing to us" May walks towards her when Ruby steps in

Ruby: "There are no sides! We want to help everyone. We're all facing Salem together. And together is the only way we're going to get out of it" I get near her and put my hand on her shoulder

(Y/N): "It's not about Mantle or Atlas anymore. It's about all humanity. Everyone. She tries to divide us, weakening our strength. But, when we unite this strength rises and rises, making us stronger. And that's what scares her. That's why she stayed in the shadows until now. If we run away because it got too thought, then we've already lost" May sighs

May: "Fine. Then what do you suggest we do to get out of this mess?" We stay silent thinking about our options not knowing someone eavesdropped on our entire conversation

*3rd POV, with Yang and her group*

Things are only gotten worse

Yang: "You can't possibly be thinking of blowing that thing up with Oscar still inside it!" she stands up, only for Elm and Vine to hold her back

Vine: "That creature causes more damage by the minute. We cannot wait" Mako rolls his eyes

Mako: "Typical military bullcrap. Sacrifice few to save many. Do you enjoy leaving not only people you swore to protect but your own allies to die just to gain one victory? Are your brains a fucking strawberry smoothie or what?!" Ryze meanwhile stares at Winter

Ryze: "True soldier to the end" he chuckles "Always mindlessly following orders, no matter how wrong they are, or how many people will die in the process. A 'true hero' out of you, Winter. Maybe Ironwood will give you a tin medal for your service. I just wonder if he would order you to kill Weiss, you would do it without a second thought?" he smirks

Harriet: "Watch your tone, punk"

Ryze: "How about you get here and make me, lap dog" Jaune steps up before Ryze could kill any of them

Jaune: "Winter, wait, please give us a chance to try and rescue Oscar first before you drop the bomb. We could... We could be your test run. You don't know what's waiting for you inside that thing. So, we can go in first ahead of you and scout it out... and look for Oscar while we're inside"

Mako: "He's got a point. Send the scouts before flag bearers. This way, you won't have a problem with us anymore if something happens to us. You would only search for new Guardians, but Atlas military for sure won't have a problem with that" he smirks "Not like any of you care about us anyway" Marrow looks at him

Marrow: "It's not... it's not like that at all. But you can't go inside that thing alone. It's suicide!"

Yang: "Wouldn't you do it for Elm? Vine? Harriet? They're your teammates, aren't they?" Harriet and Marrow looks at each other but says nothing

Ryze: "Forget it, Yang. There is no knocking any sense into them. They're just coworkers, remember? Nothing more and nothing less. All they care is to follow orders" Elm growls

Vine: "We can't let our emotions get in the way of making the right call. There is nothing to gain by sacrificing five lives for one. To do so would be foolish"

Ren: "No... It's not" he gains everyone's attention "Oscar is our friend. We will do whatever it takes to find him. Because we CARE about him" Harriet scoffs as she gets out of her seat

Harriet: "I really had you pegged as the most level-headed of the bunch, but I guess you're just as naive. Feelings don't matter, the job matters. When you lose someone on your team, you move on. Replace them, like Marrow replaced Tortuga and Winter replaced-"

Ren: "NO!" he stands up "No one is replaceable" His eyes widen seeing red petals flowing from Harriet. He stares at them getting to know his Semblance is evolving "You don't really believe that. You are FURIOUS about losing Clover, and... you miss him"

Harriet: "You don't know anything about me!"

Ren looks from her to Marrow, seeing blue petals around him. He then sees orange/red petals around Elm, and green petals around Vine, and then finally pink petals around himself

Ren: "That's why you lost to Team CRMS. They embrace how they really feel about each other. They fight not as a team, but as a family. But you guys... You fight how you really feel about each other. So, you'll never truly work as a real team"

Elm: "Shut up! You don't know what you're talking about!" She goes to punch Ren, but Winter gets in the way

Winter: "Everyone, calm down!" Elm calms down. Winter meanwhile looks at the teens, each and everyone with a determined look on their faces "Fine. We will drop you as close as we can to the monster" she agrees to Jaune's ides, much to Harriet's shock

Harriet: "You can't be serious. They're fugitives. And traitors!"

Winter: "I outrank you" she stares at Harriet, forcing her to back off "If you aren't out in time, we drop the payload. No matter what" Jaune nods

Jaune: "We understand" Mako shrugs

Mako: "A mission with a nearly impossible target, high chances of death, and nearly none of the success. How can we not take it" he smirks

However, Marrow seems to be the only one that doesn't like this idea at all aside from Winter. The airship flies in and lands on the outskirts of the battle, near the Monstra. The side door opens up and Yang's group is set free and given their weapons. Ren walks up to Marrow

Ren: "I know you don't like this. In fact, you don't want to be a part of it at all anymore"

Marrow: "I... I have a job to do. And I'm going to do it" he walks back to the cockpit

Yang is the first to leave, firing off her gauntlets to shoot her out of the airship. Mako follows by jumping out. Jaune tosses Ren his pistols before drawing his swords and joining them

Ren: "I know you don't either" he looks back at a solemn Winter, seeing petals of all colors all around her, showing her emotions are all over the place. He then leaves, but Ryze looks back at winter

Ryze: "Winter, before this battle ends, and we either lose or win, I suggest seeing Weiss again. Not as a soldier but as her sister. Aside from my team and Team RWBY, you're all the family she has left" he then puts his aviator goggles on and uses his Semblance to fly out of the ship, leaving a torn-up Winter to watch them go, with so much going in her mind

*(Y/N) POV*

We walk down the main stairs of Schnee Manor, trying to figure out what to do next

Ruby: "Wait, what about Qrow and Robyn? Well, maybe if we can get them out of wherever they're being held, they could-" May facepalms

May: "No, see, you just don't get it! This is not a situation where everyone wins. Now, you all can come with me to help in Mantle, or I can drop you off near the front lines if you still want to help Atlas. Your uncle and Robyn can't save us. We have to choose. So choose" I step right into her face

(Y/N): "You want to go help Mantle?" I point to the door "There's the door, no one is stopping you. I'm staying. You don't get it May, if Salem takes Atlas, then she gets the Staff of Creation. And once she uses it, Atlas will fall on top of the Mantle right into the crater, killing everyone there including Fiona and my mom. We can't take them out into the tundra because we all know they won't survive. We have to stop Salem here, in Atlas. But, if you still want to go, then go" We get into a staredown, only to get interrupted when we hear a knocking on the door. We take our weapons and slowly approach the door, just in case. Weiss slowly opens the door, and gasps in joy when she finds Klein standing outside.

Weiss: "Klein!" Klein nods to her

Klein: "Miss Schnee. I believe there is a patient here that needs my help"

Weiss: "I-I'm so sorry, Klein. It's my fault that you were-" Kelin takes off his hat

Klein: "Please, do not worry, my snowflake. It had nothing to do with you... And everything to do with Jacques" Weiss get out of his way, letting him inside and he slams the door

(Y/N): "Hello, Klein" I step next to Weiss, getting Mortem back to its compact mode

Klein: "Oh, Mister (L/N). It's nice to see you again"

(Y/N): "I'm sorry mom had to fire you, but you already know why"

Klein: "Don't worry, young man. Elizabeth did more than enough to help me afterward" I and Weiss lead him to the room where Nora is

Weiss: "Well, that's sweet of you. (Y/N), you called Klein?" I shake my head

(Y/N): "No... I didn't even know he had  any medical practice"

Weiss: "If you didn't call him, then who di-"

Klein: "Ah, Master Whitley, I'm so glad that you rang" Whitley walks down the main stairs "May I please see the patient? I heard that it's urgent"

Whitley: "Yes. She's in Weiss' room. Just go down the-" he points up the stairs

Klein: "I haven't been gone THAT long, Master Whitley. I believe I can find it" he heads up the stairs. This leaves an awkward silence between the siblings

Weiss: "You're the one who called Klein?" Whitley looks away

Whitley: "That girl needs a doctor. It was... just on a whim. I didn't do it for you" Weiss smiles

Weiss: "I know. That's why it means so much to me" she then walks up and hugs her little brother, much to his surprise, though he returns the hug

(Y/N): "Wow, I kinda regret threatening him now" I look at Weiss still embracing Whitley, and smile "You have a lot of work to clean Schnee family name, Whitley" then we hear an explosion and the sounds of something crashing outside the manor

Weiss: "Whitley, did you call anyone else?" I get my scythe out and approach the door.

(Y/N): "Be ready to intercept. Whitley, if anything, run for your life" Everyone nods and I open the door, only to find out a smoking crater in front of the manor. I ran towards it with the rest of my group behind. We approach the crater, getting shocked by what we see. In the center of it lies Penny, crackling with electricity and covered in neon green hydraulic fluid. Penny looks at us and weakly reaches with her hand towards me and Ruby

Penny: "I'm... I'm sorry" she collapses and I and Sam slide down the crater

(Y/N): "Penny? Penny! What happened?!"

Sam: "We need to get her inside. This is not toxic, right?" he points to the green fluid

(Y/N): "It shouldn't be. Get some vines and let's get her inside. Ruby! Weiss! Blake! Get some cloth and anything to let us lie her down in Weiss' bedroom! I and Sam will get Penny there for Klein to look up!" Girls nod and run inside while I and Sam get Penny up and later start to tow her inside Schnee Manor "What the fuck happened at Amity...?"

A/N: Well, I caught up to pre-hiatus episodes. Given that no one from the pack is present during launching the Amity and Cinder's backstory does not involve anyone from the main cast, I simply cut them off to one chapter. The first of the broadcast got sent all around Remnant, letting people know about Salem, Maidens, Guardians, and Relics. Later Ryze's group gets captured and now is gonna infiltrate the Monstra, trying to find Oscar before the bomb arrives. Meanwhile, Penny reunites with (Y/N)'s and Ruby's group, in not so good condition. With the war for Atlas going on, things got more complicated for our heroes. Will they be able to help Penny and Nora? Or will The Hound get to them before? Will Ryze's and Yang's group save Oscar? See for yourselves in the next chapter!
