A/N: Surprise top note! Well, new outfit time! (Y/N) now has a blue leather jacket with while shoulder and elbow pads. It sits open over a gray shirt. Dark blue jeans trousers, black military boots and black fingerless gloves. Without further delay, Let's get started!

*(Y/N) POV*

I was walking with Ren, Nora and Jaune through the forest, as the 'Flower Power' was arguing about our team name

Nora: "I'm just saying, there's more members of Team JNPR in this team than RWBY. It just makes to go with that one"

Ren: "But JNRR (Junior) isn't a color"

Nora: "Ugh. How can I be more clear?" Letters 'JNRR' appeared next to her "One, two, three. That's more than one"

(Y/N): "Good math Nora"

Ren: "But we're helping Ruby with her objective. Wouldn't that make her the leader?" A letters 'RNJR' appeared next to him as he points to 'R'

Nora: "And what about (Y/N)? Where should his name go?"

(Y/N): "Nora, I told you before. Team CRMS is not disbanded. We're currently on our way to meet with Mako. Ryze and Sam will meet us there soon"

Nora: "You never told us what happened to them!"

(Y/N): "I will tell you, when the time comes, now..."

Jaune: "Guys!" we turned to him "We need to focus. Also, JNRR is way cooler"

Nora: "Exactly!"

(Y/N): "If I had to choose I would go with RNJR, but its your team guys, not mine" then we hear a rumble and ground shake a little

Jaune: "It's here"

A few moments later we saw Ruby, bursting through the tree line. Followed by a Geist hunted rocks. They all fall from the cliff and we can hear Ruby screaming

Ruby: "Bad! Landing! Strategy!"

She used her semblance to fly around the Grimm. I rushed to help her

(Y/N): "Hey! Ugly! Come here!" the Golem turned to me, and tried to swing his arm. I jumped away, got my hands forward and shot it with a stream of fire, as it stumbled back "Petals! You okay?!"

Ruby: "I'm fine!"

Jaune: "Let's get that thing off them!"

He runs towards us, as Ren gets up to the tree line.

Nora: "Don't forget meee!" she used her hammer in grenade launcher mode to get to the same branch as Ren.

Ren: "We need to draw its attention from Ruby and (Y/N)"

Ruby: "Could use some help!"

She used her semblance to get near the Grimm, slashed it and shot a shoot to get away from it. I in the meantime was running around its legs and tried to shoot them off. It doesn't seem to work so I got Mortem back into a scythe and tried to slash it. When I got too close, it nearly crushed me, but I used my flames to boost myself out of the way. Nora launched a grenade, causing the Geist to stumble forward, as later Ren jumps from tree to tree, shooting Grimm. It swings it arm, trying to hit Ren, but he just jumps to another one. Grimm punches current Ren's tree, as he jumps on it's arm, runs up it and later jumps up in the air. Grimm used its arms to protect its face, as Ren just slashes the top of it, not dealing any damage.

Jaune: "We need to get closer!"

Ren: "My blades don't hurt him!"

I tried slashing it's legs again, with similar result as Ren. Grimm tried to crush me again, but I just jump out of the way and land next to Ren and Jaune

(Y/N): "My scythe also doesn't do anything. It's starting to piss me off" the golem turns to us

Nora: "Crap!"

Ruby: "How about this?!" she used her semblance to get in front of it and shot it's arm with lightning dust round, later landing near us. It does nothing, as Grimm punches the ground, creating an air wave, sending us back. Ren and Nora landed on their feet, I grabbed Ruby, as we stabbed our scythes into the ground to safely stop ourselves and Jaune just flew by, bouncing off the ground a few times, to finally stop on a boulder... balls first. I wince at the sight

Jaune: "You'll be fine without a weapon. You're the strategist"

We look back to the Grimm

Nora: "THAT'S IT!"

She started running towards the Grimm, turning her weapon back to hammer in the meanwhile. She jumped up, and as Geist went to punch her, she hammered it off, destroying its arm. However it regenerates a while later and the Grimm throws one boulder at Nora. Ruby quickly gets in front of her, and cuts the boulder in half. Giest later went to smash them with its left arm, but a fireball to the torso from me made it stumble backwards, allowing girls to get back safely.

(Y/N): "Don't you fucking dare!"

I lunged forward, with Mortem out. I tried some quick slashes at it's legs and torso, still to no effect. Nora tried to hammer it away from me, but it only resulted in Grimm focusing on her. It tried to crush her, but Nora easily dodged. Then a red mark appears in place of its right arm, followed by a large, black ghostly Grimm arm. It enters the tree Jaune was leaning on, ripping it off the ground and later trying to swipe Jaune out of the way.

Jaune: "His arm is a tree! His arm is a TREE!"

Ruby: "Big mistake!" Ruby loads a round with fire dust, and later shot it at the tree arm of the Grimm. Jaune pumped his fist in joy, but it was later replaced by fear, as the said tree went on fire

Jaune: "BIG MISTAKE!"

Grimm went to swing its burning arm on Jane, but I get in front of it

(Y/N): "Heh, Not gonna lie. I wanted to burn it..."

I used my semblance to get the fire out of its tree arm and into my hand. Ren in the meanwhile threw one of his SMG's like a boomerang. Timing it right, both of our attacks connect. Ren's weapon makes a cut on Grimm's mask and my fireball makes it fall to the ground. We later land next to the rest of our group

Jaune: "Okay, how do we do this?"

Ren: "His body is too thick to break through"

Jaune: "It doesn't care about its body"

Nora: "Plus it can keep grabbing new limbs"

Jaune: "But it's protecting its face..."

Ruby: "We can't break it!"

(Y/N): "This mask, it's its weak point!"

Jaune: "Uh...if we knocked all of its limbs off, then went for the-" he seemed to get something, as he turned to us "Guys, I got it! We hit it... HARDER!"

Ren: "Is... that it?"

(Y/N): "Jaune, remember what I told you at the beginning of Beacon? I'm taking it all back."

Jaune: "No seriously! It's trying to keep us from its face! If we kill the limbs, we'll have a shot to kill the whole thing!"

Ruby: "Alright! Come on, team! Let's do this!"

Nora: "Yeah!" Nora gets next to Ruby and I make my way there too

(Y/N): "Look who is still full of positivity" I ruffled Ruby's hair "I'm in!"

Ren: "Right!"

Jaune: "Ren, left!" Ren jumped to the left "Ruby, right!" she also jumped where Jaune ordered her "(Y/N), front! Try to clear a path for us!" I nodded

(Y/N): "You got it chief!" I jumped up the tree

Jaune: "Nora, ready to try out the new upgrade?" Nora smiled before running off. "Right. Then I will-AHH!" Grimm attacked him with a still burning tree arm again "I thought you put it down (Y/N)!"

(Y/N): "It must ignite back after I throw that fireball!" I shouted as Jaune was running away from the Grimm

Ruby flies in from behind, swinging her scythe downward at it, but the Grimm swings back, forcing her away. Ren jumps over it from its side, firing his weapons at it. Then, I charge at its front, swinging my scythe, sending another flame wave at its legs. Geist swings its tree arm at me, but I use Mortem shot recoil to get away safely. It later punched Ruby

(Y/N): "Petals!"

Ruby: "I'm fine! Don't worry!" she shouted back

I again rushed the Grimm, as Jaune was running under its legs, trying to get his attention from us, I jumped on its back, and shot a few rounds into it, making it stumble forward. Ren lands on its shoulder and shoots his SMG for a while and later lands safely. Later Ruby flies in, gets a few slash at its left arm, dodge the upcoming tree by flying under it, and fires a few shots from Crescent Rose into the Grimm. Dodging another swing by flying up high and later shooting backwards to proper herself towards the Grimm and slashing it's left leg. Later she shot one last time, to get near Nora and me

Jaune: "USE EVERYTHING YOU'VE GOT!"

(Y/N): "Ruby! Nora! Fire Thunder Rose!"

They nodded as I started the fire going, a while later Nora jumped in front of the forming firestorm. Ruby grabbed Nora, as they both changed into a storm of rose petals, pink lighting and fire. Ruby slashed the tree arm, as Nora swung her hammer down, sending pink lightning down the Grimm, destroying its body. The Geist jumps out of the main boulder it was controlling, and attempts to flee into the forest. Our group just smiles as Ruby takes aim with her weapon and fires off a fire shot that hits the Grimm dead center, killing it. We stood there, until Jaune comes near us, panting

Jaune: "Another victory for Team JNRR!" Alright, y'know, okay. Guys, I think you're onto something. It... It... It's just not sounding great anymore"

*Timeskip, local village*

After defeating Geist we reported back to the village. Right now we are visiting the chief of said village, reporting from our mission

Chief: "We truly can't thank you enough" him and Ruby exchange handshake

Ruby: "Just doing our job, sir!"

Chief: "That Geist had been plaguing our village for weeks. We were beginning to wonder if we'd have to relocate"

Ruby: "Well, we are on our way to Mistral. You could always come along with us if you don't feel safe"

Chief: "Heh, I take it you're not from these parts. Anima is a large continent. I'm afraid our people would never survive the long trip to Mistral. It may be safer in the kingdoms, but we prefer our way of life. I'd just wish we could pay you more"

Ren: "Our previous arrangement is more than sufficient"

Ren looked at us, as we agreed and politely bowed to the chief before heading to the local blacksmith. We entered the workshop as the blacksmith put Jaune's new armor on the counter

Blacksmith: "There you go, son! It's gonna be heavier than you're used to, but you'll thank me the next time you go up against a set of claws"

Jaune: "Wow...I, I don't know what to say"

Blacksmith: "Don't gotta say anything, just put it on. I'll go get the rest"

Nora: "So, what are you waiting for?"

Jaune: "Oh, uh, right" He put his old armor off on the counter, next to his new one "Guess I was gonna grow out of it eventually"

Ren: "A sign of progress"

Jaune: "Progress" he turned around, and upon showing his hoodie with Pumpkin Pete, Ruby gasped and later started snickering as I rise an eyebrow

Jaune: "Wha-what is it?"

Ruby: "What is THAT?!" she pointed to Jaune's hoodie

Jaune: "What, my hoodie? I've always had this!"

Ruby: "IT'S GOT A CUTE LITTLE BUNNY RABBIT!" she started to laugh, holding her stomach as I tried not to laugh too

Jaune: "It's Pumpkin Pete! You know, from the cereal!"

'Okay, I have enough'

I started laughing while Ruby laugh even more

Ruby: "What did you do?! Send in a box top for a prize?!"

Jaune: "Yeah! Fifty!"

Ruby: "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Ruby exploded with laughter while I tried to calm down

(Y/N): "Hahah! Sorry Hahaha! I'm really sorry! Hahaha!"

Our laugh made Jaune hunch over in despair. Ruby started laughing so hard she nearly fell to the floor, but I caught her in time.

(Y/N): "Hahaha! Petals! Be... haha! Careful!"

Ruby: "HAHAHA! Hah... Thanks... hehe Cookie..." I help her up

Ren: "Well... I suppose we don't have to grow out of everything" Ruby started laughing again

(Y/N): "Ruby, hehe, calm down! You will pee yourself from laughter haha!" she blushed but didn't stopped

Ruby: "Shut... hehehe... up!" I breath in and out

(Y/N): "Okay, I'm good now. Ruby?"

Ruby: "I'm good too" Blacksmith returned with Jaune's sword and shield

Blacksmith: "Can't have a huntsmen without his weapon. Made all the modifications you asked for. That was some fine metal you brought me. Accents the white nicely. Where'd you get it from?"

I looked at the shield and later looked down, knowing he was talking about pieces of Pyrrha's armor. The same pieces I give Jaune after the Fall of Beacon...

Jaune: "From a friend" I walked to him and put my hand on his shoulder.

(Y/N): "Pyrrha would be so proud of you Jaune. I know I am"

Jaune: "Thanks (Y/N)" With this we started to walk out, but blacksmith stopped me as Ren, Nora and Ruby leave

Blacksmith: "Kid, I got your order ready too" he presented me a small rose medallion "That girl in red must be special for you"

(Y/N): "She is. Today is our first anniversary..."

Jaune: "You two are together for a year now? Wow, look how the time has passed"

(Y/N): "Yeah. I will help you with armor Jaune"

Jaune: "Thanks" I started helping him "So, where is the rest of Team CRMS?"

(Y/N): "*sigh* Sam went to Atlas, trying to help Weiss escape from her father. He misses her a lot. Ryze stayed with Yang in Patch, he wanted to go with us but Yang will need him more. And Mako is waiting for us in Mistral. He offered we can crash in his family's new summer house"

Jaune: "Wait?! Sam and Weiss are together?!" I nodded

(Y/N): "Jaune, like you said before the dance that we are brothers. And let me tell you, like brother to brother. You had zero chance with Weiss from the beginning... Sam however... I still don't know when or how. I only know me and Ruby spotted them kissing on a bench"

Jaune: "Now I know... And I was stupid..." he got sad, most probably because of Pyrrha

(Y/N): "Listen, Jaune. Did Pyrrha say something before she went after Cinder?"

Jaune: "She... kissed me..." I open my eyes wide "And it made my eyes open. I'm just angry at myself for not seeing this before... You even told it to me right in the face and I still denied her..."

(Y/N): "Jaune, that's why we are here. If we want to avenge Pyrrha, avenge Penny, avenge every single student killed during the Fall, we need to stop them..." I helped him with finishing touches, Pyrrha's cloth at the end "I'm angry at myself too. Every single day I ask myself 'What if I was two seconds faster?' or 'What if I was nearby you and Pyrrha back there?' Would I change the future? Or maybe I would be the one to die?"

Jaune: "Don't say that. If anything, Pyrrha should be standing here... not me"

(Y/N): "Jaune, never ever say that. Pyrrha would not like that. I knew her for so long and I know she understood she hadn't had a choice, that she had to try. That's the type of person Pyrrha was" We finished putting the armor on and leaving the workshop "Everyone! I present to you! New and improved, Jaune Arc!" I pointed to him as he pulled out his sword and shield. After that the blacksmith walks out too

Blacksmith: "He cleans up alright, don't you think?"

Ren: "He certainly does"

Nora: "I still think a grenade launcher would've really brought the look together"

(Y/N): "Nora, grenade launcher is not always an answer"

Nora: "It is!"

Ruby: "Nothing's gonna stop Team RNJR now!"

Nora: "Team JNRR!"

Ren: "Still not a color"

(Y/N): "And still not cool sounding..."

Jaune: "It doesn't matter what we're called" he collapsed his shield "As long as we're together" I get Ruby's hand in mine

(Y/N): "Always"

Blacksmith: "You kids sure you won't stick around? You've been real good to this town"

Ruby: "Sorry, but we've got another mission"

Nora: "Make it to Haven Academy, no matter what"

(Y/N): "As much as we like it here, we have a friend waiting for us in Mistral"

Ren: "We've heard the next village over has a working airship"

Blacksmith: "Hm, no way to know for sure. Scroll signals were bad enough out here when Beacon Tower was still up. Haven't heard from Shion village in a while"

Ruby: "Well, there's only one way to find out" We waved our goodbyes and went on our way. Soon we were out of the city

Jaune: "Food?"

Nora: "Check!"

Jaune: "Water?"

Nora: "Check!"

Jaune: "How 'bout ammo?"

Nora: "Locked and loaded. Thank you, Schnee Dust Company!"

At the mention of Weiss' last name, Ruby looked down, saddened. I went to cheer my Rose

(Y/N): "Thinking about our Ice Queen, Petals?"

Ruby: "Yeah... I miss her and the rest of Team RWBY. And I miss your team too"

(Y/N): "Worry not, my Rose. I'm sure we will see them soon" she blushed and giggled

Ruby: "Promise?"

(Y/N): "Hey, I won't promise something I know is certain. Knowing Sam he will kick Weiss' father's ass until he let her go with him. Or he will sneak her out somehow"

Ruby: "And what about the rest? About Yang and Blake?"

(Y/N): "Blake... It's the only unknown variable to me. I know Sun is with her, so maybe he will get her back. As for Yang, don't worry. Your noble boyfriend thought about it" I smiled at her

Ruby: "You did something, don't you?" she looked suspiciously at me

(Y/N): "Maybe..?"

Ruby: "(Y/N) (L/N), you have exactly five seconds to tell me" I snickered

(Y/N): "Or what?"

Ruby: "No snuggles for a month!"

(Y/N): "What?! You can't!"

Ruby: "I can and I will. Now, spill the beans"

(Y/N): "*sigh* Okay, Petals, you won. When Yang was sleeping I measured what was left of her arm and sent a letter to my mom with it and some blueprints for her Ember Celica. I asked mom to create a prosthetic for her"

Ruby: "Really?!" I nodded "That's awesome!" I chuckled

(Y/N): "What can I say? I hate seeing her like that" I looked down at Ruby "But I must say, I like seeing you in your new outfit. Puberty hit you hard, Petals"

Ruby: "Wha...?" She looked down at her chest "(Y/N)!" she slapped my chest and blushed crimson red

(Y/N): "Joking, I love you"

Ruby: "You're lucky that I love you too"

(Y/N): "At least you're not flat like Weiss..." I said under my nose

Ruby: "What?!"

(Y/N): "Nothing"

Jaune: "Um... (Y/N), you got the map?"

(Y/N): "Right here" I passed him the map

Jaune: "*phew* I thought we lose it"

(Y/N): "Before we go. Ruby, do you know what we have today?"

Ruby: "Noooo... Wait! Today we have our first anniversary!" I nodded

(Y/N): "So..., close your eyes" she did what I asked for and I put the medallion around her neck "Now open them" Ruby instantly looked down, gasped and grabbed the medallion "Happy anniversary" I smiled at her and she hugged me

Ruby: "Cookie! It's so beautiful! Thank you!"

(Y/N): "No probleMmhmh" She got on her tiptoes and kissed me. I instantly melted. After about fifteen seconds we broke it

Ruby: "Happy anniversary" we smiled at each other

*Sam POV, Atlas*

Sam: "I'm finally here..." I said to myself as I overlook Atlas' streets "Now, where to? (Y/N) said I can crash at his place. His mom should know I'm here"

After five minutes of walking I spotted a white mansion. on the gate was a sing saying 'Albert and Elizabeth (L/N)' I rang the bell and soon I was met with answer

???: "Hello. How can I help you?"

Sam: "Um... Doctor (L/N)?"

Dr. (L/N): "Yes. I ask again, how can I help you?"

Sam: "My name's Samuel Kiryuin. I'm a friend of (Y/N)"

Dr. (L/N): "Ah. I know now. You're the son of Raya. And if (Y/N) was right, a boyfriend of Weiss Schnee" I blushed

Sam: "Yes. So, can I come in?"

The gate opens and after walking to the doors I was met with a woman in her mid thirties. She has long (H/C) hair and blue eyes. She was wearing a white lab coat, a blue sweater and long brown skirt

Dr. (L/N): "I assume you are here to take Weiss, don't you?" I nodded "*sigh* Listen boy. Me and Jacques are in bad relations so I can't help you. You can sleep in guest room here, but how you get to Weiss is your problem"

Sam: "Of course, Mrs. (L/N)"

Dr. (L/N): "And again, stop with the mistress and all the doctors. Call me Elly, I'm not that old, you know. Come in, I will get us some tea"

I walked in and soon we sat in the living room. I looked around to spot one family portrait. On it was a man, looking like (Y/N), but older. I assumed it was (Y/N)'s father. Next to him stood Elly and between them stood (Y/N), about six at the time

Elly: "They look alike, don't they?"

Sam: "Yeah. (Y/N) is like a copy of his dad"

Elly: "So, how much do you love Weiss?"

Sam: "More than anything"

Elly: "i see. You know, Schnee mansion has some security holes?"

Sam: "How do you...?"

Elly: "Because I designed it silly. If you want, I can show you" I nodded "Very well" She stood up "Follow me"

I walked after her and soon we ended up in her lab. On what I can assume was her workspace was sitting a blueprint for a prosthetic arm... and Yang's gauntlets.

Elly: "My latest work. (Y/N) sent a letter saying Ruby's sister lost her arm during the Fall of Beacon. It's nearly ready, but now" Elly started searching for something "Oh, got it. Here you go Samuel. There is a backdoor entrance without any alarms. Weiss' room is in the east wing of their mansion, third floor. If anything, look for Klein. He is a balding man in his fifties with a mustache. If you want to help Weiss, he would gladly guide you. Now, go" I nodded and went on my way

*Back in Anima, (Y/N) POV*

We decided to stop for the night. Right now I'm guarding our camp, keeping the fire going as the sun started rising. I looked around to see Ruby must've had a nightmare. I make my way to her and pet her head

(Y/N): "Shh. I'm here Petals" It doesn't work as she gasps and sits up with her eyes wide open "Bad dream again?"

Ruby: "Yeah" She looked around while holding her head "Why are you not asleep?"

(Y/N): "Someone had to keep the watch. And besides I couldn't. Ever since... you know what, I had this reacquiring nightmare..."

Ruby: "You too...?" I nodded

(Y/N): "The last moments we saw Pyrrha alive..."

Ruby: "Ohh..." she got her head down. "Anyway. Good morning Cookie! What do we have for breakfast today?" I chuckled and walked to Nora's bag where we store our food

(Y/N): "We have beans, some meat in cans and oh, pancake mix. I knew Nora would get this... So, we will have pancakes"

Nora: "Did someone said pancakes?!" she shot awake from her bag, waking up the rest of our group

*Timeskip, after breakfast"

After eating pancakes, we started walking towards our next destination, Shion. Me and Ruby are walking in front with Nora, Jaune and Ren close behind us

Ruby: "So, the next town is... Uh-huh...Uh-huh? We're lost"

(Y/N): "Ruby, you are holding the map upside down"

Ruby: "Oh..." she turned the map around "Thanks Cookie!"

Jaune: "The next town is Shion. My family used to visit there all the time"

Ruby: "Oh, yeah! Don't you have, like, four sisters?"

Jaune: "Uh, seven" Ruby giggled

Nora: "Y'know, that actually explains a lot"

Jaune: "Wait, what do you mean-"

Ruby: "SO, what did you guys do there?"

Jaune: "Oh! All sorts of stuff" he gets on Ruby's right ''Over here is a great hiking trail. And here is where we went camping all the time. I got my own tent because I was special" he pointed on map where those things are

(Y/N): "Yeah, right. Not because you were the only guy in the group. Or at least sort of" Ruby and Nora snicker

Jaune: "Hey! I was special... Also because so my sisters would stop braiding my hair"

Ruby: "Didn't like the look?"

Jaune: "Yeah, they just kept doing pigtails, but personally I think I'm more of a 'Warrior's Wolf Tail' kind of guy"

Ruby: "That's just a ponytail"

Jaune: "I stand by what I said"

(Y/N): "I wish we would find a barber in Shion. I hate having long hair"

Ruby: "Why? You look good with longer hair, Cookie"

(Y/N): "You know, on second thought..." I stopped when I saw Shion was completely destroyed. Nora and Ren stopped too

Nora: "Uh, guys?"

Jaune: "What?"

Ruby: "Huh?" they looked from map and saw the city completely destroyed, with smoke still rising to the sky

(Y/N): "We need to move!"

We raced toward the village, passing by dead bodies along the way. When we get there we started looking around

Ruby: "There could be survivors!"

Ren: "Over here!" he rushed ahead to the center of the village.

We followed him and soon we spotted a Huntsman, with a bloody wound. He was breathing weekly. Me and Ren get to his sides

Ruby: "*gasp* A Huntsman!" I put his hand from the wound to see the damage. Huntsman winces in pain

(Y/N): "He's badly wounded! Nora! First aid kit!" she threw me a box and I tried to stop the bleeding

Jaune: "What happened?! Who killed all of these people?!" Huntsman coughed up some blood

Huntsman: "Bandits... The whole tribe... Then, with all the panic..." he coughed again

Ren: "Grimm"

I tried my best, but this Huntsman is on his last moments

(Y/N): "Don't move. Don't even talk, okay?" I walked to the rest of our group while Ren walked behind the Huntsman

Ruby: "Alright, we can get him to the next village and try to find a doctor there"

Jaune: "Yeah, Ren, (Y/N) and I can take turns carrying him"

Nora: "I don't know if he'll make it"

Jaune: "He will. He has to"

Ruby: "If we get going now, his chances will be better. I can run ahead and look for help"

(Y/N): "Don't bother Petals... he will most likely die before we get to the next village. He lost a lot of blood and moving him will only make it worse..."

Ren: "Guys..." We turned around and looked at the Huntsman's body. I get my head down

(Y/N): "May Oum let you go to his house, warrior..."

Ruby: "Should we... bury him?"

Ren: "We should go. It's not safe here" he walks past us

Nora: "Ren..." she went after him as Jaune put his hand to his head. Ruby put her hand on his arm and I put mine on his shoulder

Ruby: "It'll be okay"

(Y/N): "We cannot do anything for him... And Ren is right. We need to move"

Jaune: "*sigh* I'm just tired of losing everything"

Ruby: "Cookie, how are you holding up?"

(Y/N): "I have seen death before. Anima is a dangerous continent. Grimm, bandits, angry animals... Clowns" Ruby snickered

Ruby: "What? Clowns?! Are you afraid of Clowns?!"

(Y/N): "Yeah, they're scary as hell. Anyway, death is something you need to bare in this job"

*3rd POV, Atlas*

After Weiss talked to her father, she leave his study, with her head down

Klein: "Hot coffee, Miss Schnee?" she looked up to see Klein, their butler "I always find he keeps his study dreadfully cold" He get the tray forward and Weiss grab the cup

Weiss: "Thank you, Klein" and she looked down at her coffee. Klein tried to lighten her up

Klein: "You know what I think?" he covered his face with the tray. When he get it down, his eyes changed to red "I think it's to balance out all his hot air!" he laughed. Weiss seemed shocked but smiled

Weiss: "Klein!" as she started laughing too. Soon Klein sneezed and his eyes changed to blue

Klein: "Hah... heh, my apologies, Madame. Ah-Ah-AH" he sneezed again and Weiss giggled "Ah, there's my happy little snowflake!" Weiss smiled again

Weiss: "Thank you, Klein"

Klein: "Before I forgot, Miss Schnee. Doctor (L/N) wanted me to tell you that a special someone for you is here in Atlas" Weiss gets confused

Weiss: "Who?"

Klein: "I think his name was Samuel Kiryuin" Weiss lighten up

Weiss: "Sam is here!" she squealed happily "Oh my Dust, thank you Klein! Please, send aunt Elly my thanks!"

Klein: "Of course. You must really love this boy, Madame" he smiled at her as Weiss blushed

Weiss: "Yes... I do"

*(Y/N) POV, Anima*

After leaving Shion, we set up a camp. I again couldn't sleep so I decided to watch over our group. I later saw Jaune walking away

(Y/N): "Where do you think you're going? With all your weapons?"

Jaune: "(Y/N)? You're not asleep?"

(Y/N): "I can't sleep. Listen, you wanted to train, don't you?"

Jaune: "Um, yeah"

(Y/N): "If you still want my help, I can do it. But I'll tell you, I'm not as gentle as Pyrrha was"

Jaune: "...If thanks to that I can become stronger, I'm ready. I will be by the clearing"

(Y/N): "I will grab Mortem and be there soon" I walked to where my and Ruby's sleeping bag are, only to see her squirming in her sleep.

'She is having this nightmare again'

I lied down on my sleeping bag as Ruby's eyes squinted in fear and she started mumbling Pyrrha's name. Not waiting anymore I hugged her close to my chest. This seemed to calm her down as she slowly wakes up

Ruby: "Cookie... what happened?"

(Y/N): "You were having that nightmare again" Look on her face turns to somber "Petals, I miss Pyrrha too" She looked at me as tears started to gather in her eyes. She later buried her head in my chest, silently crying. I pat her back "Let it all go Petals, I know..."

Ruby eventually calmed down and fell back asleep. When I was sure she was asleep for real, I gently laid her down, put her sleeping bag over her to make sure she would be warm without me next to her and kissed her forehead, earning a small smile. I can't help but smile too. I grab Mortem and get to where Jaune was. After about a minute I heard that training video I helped Pyrrha create.

Pyrrha: "You've grown so much since we started training. And I know this is just the beginning" Then I hear my voice coming from the scroll

(Y/N)*scroll*: "Come on Pyrrha, like we planned"

Pyrrha: "Jaune... I... I... I want you to know that I am just happy to be a part of your life. I'll always be here for you, Jaune"

(Y/N): "I stopped the recording and I said 'What am I gonna do with you Pyrrha?'" Jaune turned around to see me with Mortem on my shoulder

Jaune: "You helped Pyrrha record this... What was she supposed to say?"

(Y/N): "*sigh* Four words, 'I love you, Jaune'. I wanted her to be happy, and I was the one who got the idea for this. You know..." he slumbered down

Jaune: "Yeah. So, (Y/N), ready?"

I transformed Mortem back to its compact mode and lied it down

Jaune: "What? You're not gonna use your weapon?"

(Y/N): "Shield up"

Jaune: "Wha...?!" He couldn't finish as I rocketed to him and used my left arm to send him into a tree with a punch "What was that about?!"

(Y/N): "Man, Pyrrha told you something about stance. If you were low and wide you could've easily parried it. Stand up" he did "Jaune, you are the shield of this team. The only thing between them and a bullet. Like I said, I'm much harder than Pyrrha. I will train you like my grandma taught me. And to her, the best form of training was actual combat" I raised my fists

Jaune: "Are you sure you won't use your scythe?"

(Y/N): "And what? Kill you?" Jaune groaned "Listen, when I see you are ready, I will use my weapon. But now, you are nowhere near my level or even Nora's. And her tactics mainly focus on smashing everything" We laughed for a while "Ready?"

Jaune: "Ready" With we clashed with each other

*timeskip*

(Y/N): "Come on Jaune! Don't tell me you want to give up!" he lunged at me with a battle cry to which I stepped aside "Oh come on, that one was pathetic. I saw it coming from a mile"

Jaune: "You know *pant* You're not making this any easier"

(Y/N): "Hey, you were the one who wanted to become stronger" I ran to him, punching him in the gut and sending him into a tree "Remember about your shield. Don't be scared to use it against fists"

Jaune get up from the ground

(Y/N): "Ready?"

He didn't give me an answer, just lunged at me. He tried to slash me leaving him open. I tried to punch him, but he lower his shield and my fist connects with it, making us both skid back

(Y/N): "See! It was good! Now, I think we have enough for tonight. Go to sleep Jaune, I will walk for a while and get back" he nodded and I walked towards the river nearby. I sat on the grass near the shore

(Y/N): "Heh, Pyrrha, I know you're listening, whenever you are. Jaune really grew up, I will continue to train him like we promised to him. You will be proud of him for sure. I... I just miss you, Tomato" I chuckled "I know, I swore to never call you that again, but, I think it doesn't matter now..." I continue to stare at the water, until I hear branch snapping "Ruby, you can go out"

Ruby: "How did you know it was me?"

(Y/N): "I smelled roses in the air. You know, your semblance makes you smell like that... Why are you not asleep?" she sat down next to me

Ruby: "I tried, but I heard you and Jaune train"

(Y/N): "Weird, I assumed you were asleep after I comforted you"

Ruby: "I acted. Besides, I also heard you talking to Pyrrha"

(Y/N): "Ruby, not many people believe in the afterlife. But I do. I believe that souls have two options. One, stay here and become someone's guardian angel or two, pass to the afterlife in peace. Sometimes I wonder if my dad decided to rest in peace, but knowing him, he would choose the first option. And to be honest I would too if I were to die"

Ruby: "You're not allowed to die, Cookie. We need you, I need you. Think about what Cinder did to Pyrrha, to Penny, to that Amber girl. Oh, you said you will tell me who she was"

(Y/N): "Ruby, I don't think now it's the time. I will tell you this. Amber had a great power, but Cinder stole half of it. When I felt that pain in the chest it must've come from Amber... She died and Cinder got the other half of her power"

Ruby: "But... How did you even feel that?" I looked up to see a crow on a branch nearby

'Heh, I knew you would come with us, Qrow'

(Y/N): "I will tell you another day, okay? Now, get back to the camp. I will join you soon"

Ruby: "You better be. I will cut you if you don't sleep tonight" I chuckled "Don't take too long, love you Cookie"

(Y/N): "Love you too, Petals" Ruby gets back to the camp. When I was sure she would not hear I turned around "You can transform back, Qrow" that crow landed on the ground and transformed into Qrow

Qrow: "I must say you have an eye, matchstick"

(Y/N): "Yeah, right. Why are you here?"

Qrow: "I thought that I will look after you five. Someone needs to make sure you get to Mistral alive"

(Y/N): "So, why don't you go with us? We would appreciate a 'great Huntsman' like Qrow Branwen helping us"

Qrow: "If it could be that easy, I would. Kid, do you know crows are signs of bad luck. And so am I. My semblance is permanently active and brings misfortune"

(Y/N): "And?"

Qrow: "And in a fight it's a good trait. But, it has a backfire to those close to you, like a family. Listen, don't tell anyone I'm here. I will intervene if something comes up, but I'd rather not expose you all to my bad luck" I nodded "Good, be sure to keep pipsqueak safe"

(Y/N): "You know me Qrow, as long as she is with me, she is safe. Catch you later, Big Bird" he smirked, turned into a bird and flew away. After that I returned to the camp and lied on my sleeping bag as Ruby instantly hugged me "Goodnight Petals"

Ruby: "Night Cookie"

*Ryze POV, Patch*

I was cutting some wood as Tai went to pick up some packages. Yang... she seems to finally starting getting back. She finally started talking with me, so that's good. After finishing up the last log I get the sweat of my forehead and walked inside the house, to see Yang watching TV

Ryze: "Hey Babe, something interesting in the..."

Reporter: "... the loss of the CCT tower continues to prevent contact with the outside world. Talks with Atlas officials regarding repairs have so far..."

Ryze: "Change the channel, I don't want to hear..." Yang did it and, well, another news about Vale and Fall of Beacon

Reporter #2: "Vale council voted this week to continue to ban any air traffic that does not have a direct correlation with evacuation. Council has made it clear that they feel..." Yang changed the channel again

Reporter #3: "Multiple rumors continue to circulate as to who was behind the attack at the Vytal festival tournament. While no one knows for sure, officials have confirmed that high ranking White Fang member Adam Taurus, was present for the attack" I grabbed the remote from Yang's arm and turned off the TV

Ryze: "That's enough for today, Goldie"

Yang: "Why...?"

Ryze: "Huh?"

Yang: "Why are you here with me? Why didn't you go with Ruby and (Y/N)?"

Ryze: "Yang. You ask why, but you already know. I won't leave you until you get ready"

Yang: "Then you would have to stay here forever. I'm not going ..." I pecked her lips

Ryze: "Yang Xiao Long, I'm okay with staying with you. I love you, Goldilocks" she leaned on my shoulder

Yang: "I... I love you too..."

Ryze: "See, you're slowly getting there" Then the doors opened and we heard Tai

Tai: "I'm home!" I turned around and Yang get her head back

Yang: "Hey dad"

Ryze: "Hey Tai"

Tai: "Guess what came in today"

Yang: "What?"

Tai: "I can't wait for you to try this..." I smiled

'So (Y/N)'s mom did it. I hope Yang will like her present'

Tai walked into the kitchen, and later returned with one white box with Atlas' logo on top of it

Tai: "Well?"

Yang: "It's... for me?"

Tai: "For you and you only" Yang opened the box to reveal a brand new prosthetic arm "Brand new, state of the art Atlas tech. You know, I thought I was gonna have to pull some strings, call in a few favors. But with a little help form (Y/N) you earned this one all on your own, kiddo"

Yang: "Huh? (Y/N)?"

Tai: "Before I could even talk to him or Elly, General Ironwood already had her and some other top scientists working on this... for you. He wanted me to tell you that you fought admirably"

Ryze: "And (Y/N) was the one who sent details to his mom. It should also have your gauntlet built into it. Pretty cool, right Goldie?"

Tai: "Well? You're gonna try it on?" she looked away from us

Yang: "I, uh... I'm not feeling too great right now. Maybe later?"

Tai: "*sigh* Well, alright"

Ryze: "Whenever you are ready Yang. I and Tai will be there for you" she stood up and walked up the stairs as I and Tai observed her. She stopped half the way

Yang: "Thanks, dad. Thanks, Ryze"

*timeskip*

I was in the living room, sitting with Tai as he showed me their family album

Tai: "And there is a little Ruby in her first cape"

Ryze: "Wow, she was even cuter than the last time I saw her. (Y/N) is a lucky guy"

Tai: "He is lucky for sure, but you're even lucki-" he was cut off as we heard a glass shattering in the kitchen. We looked inside to see Yang hyperventilating, as she calms down and punches the tabletop

Ryze: "Yang..." I said quietly as Tai put a hand on my shoulder and shake his head

*timeskip*

I was sitting in the kitchen with Tai, Oobleck and Port. I'm somehow glad they got out of Beacon alive. Us four are currently laughing

Port: "And- and- and then, in comes Qrow, wearing a skirt!"

Ryze: "What?! Hahaha!"

Port: "I was just a T.A. I... I didn't know what to do, so I just left the room to laugh!" us four laughed

Tai: "Yeah, me and Albert told him it was a kilt, he'd never worn a uniform before so he didn't know"

Oobleck: "That is terrible! What was wrong with you two?!"

Tai: "Hey! The girls all said he had nice legs! We did that jerk a favor" we laughed again "Besides, that's not even the best part! Do you remember when Albert was trying to impress Elly with his dance moves?!

Port: "Oh my. I don't think I have ever laughed so hard before in my life" He put his leg on the table top "And now the split!" us four laughed again

Ryze: "No way (L/N)'s dad did it!"

Port: "He did, Mr. Matoi. A perfect split right in front of the courtyard! Hahaha" he then loses balance and lands on the floor as us three laugh at him and Port later joins

Ryze: "If I only knew you could have fun Professors, haha." We then hear Yang giggle "Hey Babe"

Port: "Oh, um, Miss Xiao Long! Please, join us"

Oobleck: "Yes, yes, pull up a chair. Please, pull up a chair" she get between Tai and me and sit on the counter top

Yang: "I'm good. So, what are you doing here?"

Oobleck: "Despite popular belief, teachers do have a life outside the classroom"

Port: "Professor Goodwitch is working around the clock to restore Beacon to its former glory. But Mistral wasn't built in a day, and we all need some rest from time to time"

Tai: "Look, let's not worry about that right now. So, there we were, standing in the auditorium, looking at Qrow wearing a skirt! The Oz tells everyone: ' It's time to work on our landing strategy!'" We all laughed

Oobleck: "The Branwen twins have always been... interesting to say the least"

Port: "That sure didn't seem to stop young Tai..." Me, Oobleck and Port laughed

Tai: "Hey, come on man, she's right here!"

Port: "Oh, please! She's a mature young woman. If she can handle combat, she can handle a few jabs at her old man"

Ryze: "He got you there, Tai"

Tai: "That's not the issue Pete, and besides, she's still a teenager"

Yang: "'She' is also in the room and can be directly spoken to." She jumped down "And 'I' think I've been through enough to be considered an adult at this point"

Tai: "Adult or not, you still got a long way to go before you're ready for the real world"

Yang: "Oh my gosh! Does every father figure just have the same three condescending phrases?"

Tai: "Yeah, but we only use them when we mean it!"

Yang: "Is that so?"

Tai: "As a matter of fact it is so!"

Ryze: "Well, it got from 0 to 100 in a second"

Tai: "If you honestly think that you're ready to go out there on your own... well, guess you lost some brain cells along with that arm" Oobleck dropped his cup as I tried to pick up the jaw

'He didn't said that'

Yang: "*gasp* You jerk!" She laughed and Tai joined her

Oobleck: "Are we finally talking about Goliath in the room?" the father-daughter duo laughed again. I just smiled seeing Yang is somehow returning back to her happy self

Port: "Miss Xiao Lo- Yang, if you don't mind me asking. Why haven't you tried on the arm yet?"

Oobleck: "Oh, yes yes! A piece of Atlas technology being given out like that is rare indeed, not to mention Elizabeth's effort to design it with everything Mr. (L/N) listed. Not saying anything about the effort it took to deliver it here. It seems not only your friends, but a great many other people want to see you return to normal"

Yang: "I'm... scared. Everyone keeps talking about me getting back to normal and I appreciate it. But... this is normal now. It's just... taking me awhile to get used to it."

Tai: "Well... Normal is what you make of it."

Yang: "What's that supposed to mean? Do you want me to just pretend like nothing happened? I lost a part of me. A piece of me is gone and it's never coming back"

Ryze: "It may not come back, but, it doesn't mean you have to accept it as your defeat. Yang I know, Yang I fell in love is a thrill seeker. A girl wanting to travel around the world with new adventures at every corner. Yang... you're not the only one who lost a limb or is permanently injured... "

Tai: "You should listen to your boyfriend. You're Yang Xiao Long, my sunny little dragon. You can do whatever you put your mind to. So, whenever you're ready to stop moping, and get back out there, I'll be there for you"

Ryze: "And I will too. Yang, I wasn't there for you back then, and I swear it will not happen again"

Yang: "I... I..."

Port: "Fear is like any other emotion, it comes and goes. It's all in how you handle it. Why, even I find myself wrestling with that emotion from time to time"

Yang: "Really? You?"

Oobleck: "He's afraid of mice"

Port: "They bring only disease and famine!" he punched the table, while Yang started laughing "And don't even get me started on their tails! So hairless, simply unnatural" I and Tai are looking at Yang laughing

Oobleck: "Port, I assure you, you're safe. There's no mice here right now."

Ryze: "That's right! I killed every single one!" we continued to talk until it was time for Professors to go. Yang walked up to her room while me and Tai walked Oobleck and Port out

Yang: "Goodnight"

We were out of the house

Port: "Thanks for having us over, Tai. It was nice seeing you too, Mr.Matoi"

Tai: "Any time. You're always welcome"

Ryze: "It was sure nice to see you alive and all"

Oobleck: "It may be awhile before we return. There is still much work to be done at the school"

Port: "I... hesitate to ask but... Is there any word from young Miss Rose or Mr. (L/N)?"

Tai: "Not yet"

Oobleck: "Have you thought about going after them? Try to bring them home?"

Tai: "*sigh* She's just running off with a boy on an adventure" He smiled "Nothing close to what I and Summer or Elly and Albert would do at their age. Besides... I've got to... look after some things"

Port: "And what about you, Ryze? Have you heard anything from your other teammates, Michael especially. I must admit, I'm concerned about him after he... Well"

Ryze: "*sigh* Mako lost his left eye because of that explosion from Paladin. From what I know from (Y/N), his mom is working on another prosthetic for him now, after finishing Yang's new arm. Sam... Sam is after Weiss. He wants to bring her back to our crazy group from her father. We already got the plan to travel to Mistral, us three were too meet with Mako there, but... I decided to stay and help Yang overcome her fear. I know I would be of better use with (Y/N) and Ruby, but I also know (Y/N) would be enough to protect their entire group and Yang needs me more here.

Oobleck: "I can't disagree with Mr. Matoi here. Tai, your daughter is in good hands"

Port: "And we are not talking only about Miss Rose" We looked up to see Yang in the window, as she quickly hides " Well, good night, old friend! Goodnight Mr. Matoi"

Tai: "Hey, I'm not that old!" We said our farewells to Oobleck and Port as I walked upstairs to the guest room where I live for a year now. By the way I passed Yang's room as she was looking at her robotic arm

Ryze: "You heard our talk, don't you? *sigh* Goldie, mind if I sit next to you?" she shakes her head "You know, I'm starting to sound like (Y/N), but, give it a try. How do you feel about this, Sunny Dragon?"

Yang: "Well, I will give it a try, but" She smiled at me "You promise me you will help, okay, honey?" I nodded. And Yang closed the distance between us and we shared a quick kiss "I Love you Ryze"

Ryze: "And I love you too, Goldie. I'm glad you came back. Now, get some sleep. We have some training to do tomorrow" I stand up from her bed and leave her room "Goodnight Yang"

Yang: "Night Ryze"
