*(Y/N) POV*

Me, my team, Team RWBY and JNPR are now sitting in another boring Port's lessons. Me and Ryze are playing Macau, trying to kill the time

Ryze: "Now you are done" he put King of Hearts "Draw five" I snickered

(Y/N): "Pretty sneaky, Matoi, but..." I showed him a King of Spades "looks like you need to draw ten"

Ryze: "Fuck..." and he proceed to get the cards, meanwhile I looked forward to see Jaune sliding next to Weiss

'Oh my Oum, he is still trying' I get back to our game

(Y/N): "Macau"

Ryze: "Hmm. You draw when it was on clubs, so" he put down an ace "I demand clubs"

'Now to surprise him'

(Y/N): "And it's over..." I put down a Joker "Good game Ryze"

Ryze: "Oh my... you had a Joker?! That's dirty, ending with a wild card"

(Y/N): "Everything is fair in war" after hiding my cards I lied on my desk. And out of boredom I started to watch Jaune flirting with Weiss"

Jaune: "So, Weiss, you know uh, I was thinking that after this, maybe we could go grab a bite to eat? And uh, you know well I-I've got two tickets to that new Spruce Willis movie if you want to make the trip to Vale. I hear it's awesome. And maybe after that, we could study together? I mean, you're smart and I'm, uh... Y'know" Weiss ignored all his questions, as her attention is still focused on the clock. Then the bell rings

Port: "And then I... oh,uh, timed that one wrong, I guess. Well, the stunning conclusion to this story will have to wait. Until next time" We started to get up

Jaune: "Weiss? Did you hear me?"

Weiss: "No, no, no, yes"

(Y/N): "Damn, that's cold, even for her"

Ryze: "That's why we call her Ice Queen" We walk past Jaune and Yang petted his head

Yang: "One day"

We get near our dorm. I told Ruby that we will meet in fifteen minutes in their room. After getting changed we get nearby Team RWBY's room and I knocked on their doors

Ruby: "You can come in. We are nearly done" We get inside to see girls in their new outfits. Ruby gets near me

Ruby: "So, what do you think?" she swirled around

(Y/N): "It's cute, Ruby. I like it" she giggled and blushed

Ruby: "Thank you"

Ryze: "Looking good babe" he addressed Yang

Yang: "Oh, thank you honey"

Blake: "I thought that class would never end"

Ruby: "Alright, guys. Today's the day. The investigation, begins!"

Weiss: "I'm glad to see that we're taking this so seriously"

Yang: "Hey! We've got a plan. That's... moderately serious"

Ruby: "Right, everyone remember their roles?"

Weiss: "Me, you and (Y/N) will head for the CCT and check the Schnee records for any other Dust robberies or inconsistencies. Seeing as I'm in the family, it shouldn't be a problem"

(Y/N): "I meanwhile will try to search in police archives. Anything about Torchwick last moves or anything related to his connection with the White Fang could help us"

Blake: "The White Fang has regular factions meetings to hand out orders and recruit new members. If I can get in, I can hopefully find out what they're planning"

Ryze: "I will go with Blake and try to give an air support if anything goes south"

Yang: "I have an old friend on the shady side of town that typically knows everything going on in Vale. Getting information out of him shouldn't be too hard"

Mako: "My dad had some 'connections'. I can try to contact them, maybe they will know anything"

Sam: "Ryze, our mom have some friends in Vale council. I can try to ask her if she knows anything"

Ryze: "Do what you want, I don't want to see her anyway"

Ruby: "Great, we'll meet up tonight near Yang to go over what we've found. Let's do this!"

???: "Yeah!" we looked at the window to see Sun hanging upside down, surprising the girls.

Blake: "Sun?!"

Yang: "How did you get up there?"

Sun: "Ah, it's easy. I do it all the time"

Weiss: "You do what?!"

Sun: "I climb trees all the time!" Me and Weiss didn't bought it "So... are we finally getting back at that Torchwick guy?"

Blake: "WE, are going to investigate the situation. As a team"

Sun: "But, (Y/N) and his team aren't a part of your team"

(Y/N): "Well, no. But two of us have girlfriends here and we are good friends with other members of Team RWBY"

Ruby: "Sorry, Sun. We don't want to get friends involved if we don't have to"

Sun: "Pftt, that's dumb. You should always get friends involved. That's why I brought Neptune" We look out the window and see Neptune on the ledge

Neptune: "Sup"

Ruby: "How did you even get up here?"

(Y/N): "Em, Rubes?" I pointed down to a ladder laying on the ground

Ruby: "Ohh"

Neptune: "I have my ways. Seriously though, can I come in. We're really high up right now"

Ryze: "I got him *sigh*" Ryze flew out of the window and get Neptune inside

Neptune: "Thanks man"

Ryze: "Anytime"

Ruby: "All right, new plan. Sun, you go with Blake and Ryze will be watching you from above. And Neptune, you go with Yang to make the teams somewhat even. Everyone good?"

Weiss: "Actually Ruby. Why don't you and (Y/N) go with Yang, ha. After all she is your sister and you two are a couple" Ruby pushed stiff Neptune past Weiss and next to Yang.

Ruby: "But Weiss, who would go with you then?"

Weiss: "I guess Neptune could come with me" Ruby laughed

Ruby: "Nah!" she grabbed Weiss by the collar of her coat and dragged her out of the room, much to Weiss displeasure

Weiss: "But! But!"

(Y/N): "Well, that happened..."

Ruby: "Cookie, come on!"

(Y/N): "Oh right, be safe guys" I walked out and followed Ruby

*Timeskip*

After a few minutes us three made it to the CCT tower. Ruby was excited to see it

Ruby: "Wow! I forgot how big the transmit tower looks so close!"

(Y/N): "If you like Vale's tower, you should see the one in Atlas, Ruby"

Ruby: "That was the first one right?"

Weiss: "Correct. Atlas developed the cross continental transmit system to allow the four kingdoms to communicate with one another. It was their gift to the world after the Great War"

Ruby: "Ooo, look at me, my name is Weiss, I know facts, I'm rich" she laughed

Weiss: "Don't be a pest! (Y/N) is rich too and I don't see you making fun of him"

Ruby: "You are rich (Y/N)?"

(Y/N): "Yeah. How do you think I bought you the whole bakery of cookies on our dates, huh?"

Ruby: "Ohh, right. Your mom works for General"

Weiss: "Besides, the only reason we're here is because you like the tower so much. We could've just as easily made a call from the library"

Ruby: "I know but it's so cool! Oh, (Y/N)! Let's take a picture together"

(Y/N): "Sure, just don't send it to your dad" I get to Ruby's level and we smiled with our eyes closed

Ruby: "Say, Cookie!"

(Y/N): "Cookie!" we took a picture "Send it to me later Ruby, okay?"

Ruby: "Sure thing" we started to walk inside the tower.

As we were nearby the entrance I noticed Penny standing in the crowd. I tapped Ruby's shoulder to get her attention

Ruby: "Something's wrong (Y/N)?"

(Y/N): "Look" I pointed to where Penny stood. Ruby looked there and gasped

Ruby: "Penny!" we walked to her

Penny: "Uhh..."

Ruby: "Where have you been?! We haven't seen you since the night at the docks"

Penny: "S-sorry. I think you're confused *Hiccup* Uh, I've got to go"

(Y/N): "Carrot Top, something's wrong?" she didn't answered me and walked away

Weiss: "What was that about?"

(Y/N): "I don't know. She never behaved that way"

Ruby: "We are going to find out. (Y/N), come on"

(Y/N): "Right behind you Petals. Weiss" I turned to her "Go make the call, we will come back later" Me and Ruby ran after Penny. Soon we caught up to her

Ruby: "Penny! Where have you been? It's been weeks!"

Penny: "There seems to be misunderstanding" and she continued to walk away

Ruby: "What?!"

(Y/N): "Penny, are you okay?" she continued to walk away, ignoring us "Penny Polendina!" she stopped "Let us help you. I see something's bothering you"

Ruby: "Those guys we fought at the docks, we think they're up to something big. Something bad! I need you to tell us what happened to you that night. Please. As a friend" Penny sighs and looks around

Penny: "It isn't safe to talk here"

(Y/N): "So, let's go somewhere where it is"

*timeskip*

We are walking down the street with Penny

Penny: "I wish I could help you both. But I don't know anything about those men"

Ruby: "Well, what happened to you after that night? We were all together and then you disappeared. Were you kidnapped?"

(Y/N): "Ruby, I don't think that's the case"

Penny: "Oh no, nothing like that!"

Ruby: "Well then, where did you go?"

Penny: "I've never been to another kingdom before. My father asked me not to venture out too far, but, oh you have to understand, my father loves me very much. He just worries a lot"

Ruby: "Believe me, I know the feeling"

(Y/N): "Same, but with my mom. Penny, why didn't you let us know you are okay?"

Penny: "I, was asked, not to talk to you both. Or Weiss... or Blake... or Yang. Anybody really"

Ruby: "Was your dad that upset?"

Penny: "No, it wasn't my father" we turned the corner to see a hologram of General presenting what I assumed was my mom's latest work. Atleasien Knight 200

(Y/N): "Heh, mom wasn't slacking projecting those robots"

Ruby: "Your mom make these?!"

(Y/N): "Well, she only designed it. Other people made it and programed it" then a hologram of Atlesian Paladin showed up in place of James

Ruby: "Whoa... Is this your mom work too (Y/N)?"

(Y/N): "No. It doesn't looks like her work. She likes to make her robots more human like"

Penny: "Ruby, (Y/N)... Maybe we should go somewhere else..." some Atlas guards noticed us and starts walking towards us. Penny in the meanwhile started to run away

Ruby: "Penny? Wait! Where are you going?"

(Y/N): "Ruby, go after her. I will try to slow them down"

Ruby: "Right!" she ran after Penny and I turned to the guards

(Y/N): "Good morning gentleman"

Guard #1: "Mr. (L/N) it's nice to see you but I have to ask you to move aside"

(Y/N): "What's the hurry? Why don't we talk with some... Oh fuck it! Fireball!" I stunned one of them and ran after Ruby. I get near them just in time to see Ruby lying on the street as truck was about to run her over "RUBY!!!" I get ready to use my semblance and dash there to push Ruby out of the truck's way. But as I was about to start, Penny pushed Ruby away and stopped the truck with her bare hands

(Y/N): "Shit... guess we need to tell Ruby now" I said to myself

Ruby: "Penny...?"

Penny: "Are you okay?" she asked truck driver. Penny looked at us and later at her hands. She later saw everyone was looking at her and ran away

(Y/N): "Carrot Top! Wait!"

Ruby: "Come back!" We ran after Penny and soon caught up with her. I can clearly see she was panicking

Ruby: "Penny! Please! What's going on?"

(Y/N): "Petals..."

Ruby: "Why are you running?"

(Y/N): "Ruby"

Ruby: "How did you do that?!"

(Y/N): "Ruby Rose!" Ruby flinched. It was the first time I shouted at her. She looked at me and later at panicking Penny. I walked to Penny and put my hand on her shoulder

Penny: "(Y/N)...?"

(Y/N): "Penny, it's okay. You can trust Ruby, she is my girlfriend and most importantly, your friend" Penny turned to Ruby

Penny: "You're my friend, right? You promise you're my friend?"

Ruby: "I promise" Penny showed Ruby her scrapped hands

Penny: "Ruby... I'm not a real girl"

Ruby: "Oh... Penny, I-I don't understand..."

Penny: "Most girls are born, but I was made. I'm the world's first synthetic person capable of generating an Aura. I'm not real..." I stayed silent, letting Ruby handle this situation. She took Penny's hands in hers

Ruby: "Of course you are. You think just because you've got nuts and bolts instead of squishy guts makes you any less real than me?" I smiled at this

Penny: "I don't... um... You're... taking this extraordinarily well"

Ruby: "You're not like those things we saw back there. You've got a heart, and a soul, I can feel it!"

(Y/N): "So can I. Penny, you may be made from metal, but you think for yourself, not like Atlesian Knights who have a program and directives. You are your own person, with heart and soul just like anyone on Remnant"

Penny: "Ohh. Oh Ruby and (Y/N)! You're the best friends anyone could have!" She get us both into a bear hug, crushing Ruby

Ruby: "I can see why your father would want to protect such a delicate flower!" she groaned and Penny let us free

Penny: "Oh, he's very sweet! My father's the one that built me! I'm sure you would love him!"

(Y/N): "He is a great man Ruby. When we have an occasion to go to Atlas, we will pay him a visit"

Ruby: "He built you? All by himself?"

Penny: "Well almost, he had some help from Mr. Ironwood"

(Y/N): "Not gonna lie, I suspected James was helping Pietro"

Ruby: "The General?! Wait... Is that why those soldiers were after you?"

Penny: "They like to protect me too!"

Rubby: "They don't think you can protect yourself?"

Penny: "They're not sure if I'm ready yet... One day, it will be my job to save the world, but I still have a lot left to learn. That's why my father let me come to the Vytal Festival. I want to see what it's like in the rest of the world, and test myself in Tournament"

Ruby: "Penny, what are you talking about? Save the world from what? We're in a time of peace!"

Penny: "That's not what Mr. Ironwood said..."

(Y/N): "So, something big is really happening" I said under my nose. Later we can hear soldiers getting closer

Penny: "You both have to hide!" Penny pick us up and walks towards the dumpster

Ruby: "Penny! What are you doing? You don't need to go with them we can help you!" Penny ignored her and threw us into the dumpster

Penny: "It's okay. They're not bad people. I just don't want you both to get in trouble. Just promise you won't tell anyone about my secret, okay?"

Ruby: "I promise"

(Y/N): "And I'm already in trouble for stunning that guard... Penny, close the lid, please" she do what I asked her for. Me and Ruby sit there

(Y/N): "I've never imagined we would have a date in a dumpster..."

Ruby: "Shh, be quiet or they will find us" we then hear what's happening and Ruby peaked outside

Guard #1: "There she is!"

Penny: "Sal-u-tations, officers"

Guard #1: "Why were you running? And what happened to the other girl and Mr. (L/N)?"

Penny: "I haven't saw (Y/N) and what girl? I've been by myself all day! *hiccup*"

Guard #1: "You shouldn't cause a scene"

Guard #2: "Are you okay?"

Penny: "Just a scratch"

Guard #1: "Penny, your father isn't going to be happy about this"

Guard #2: "Please, just come with us"

Penny: "Yes, sir!" I assumed they walked away

Ruby: "All clea..." she was cut of by rat screech, scaring her. I laughed a little

(Y/N): "Ruby, it's just a rat" she get on my arms

Ruby: "(Y/N)! Help me! It's a rat! It's a rat! It's a rat! It's a raaat!" she freaked out and cried.

I grabbed the animal by it's tail and get it out of the dumpster, later we exit it too

(Y/N): "Petals... are you scared of rats?"

Ruby: "YES! They are gross and scary and they spread disease and their tails are just yuck and gross!" she said super fast

(Y/N): "Oh my..." I looked at the sky to see it's getting dark. "I think Weiss is done with her call and I can access police database from my scroll so nothing is lost. Looks like we have some free time. Let's go somewhere, just you and me" Ruby hugged my arm

Ruby: "Yay! Surprise date!"

(Y/N): "So, bakery?" she exploded with happiness

Ruby: "YES!"

(Y/N): "Piggyback?"

Ruby: "Is there any other way to go to bakery?!" She jumped on my back "Let's go, my noble boyfriend!" I smiled and shake my head

(Y/N): "As you wish, my Rose"

We went to the bakery and well... I need to check my account balance. We bough out their entire stock of cookies! Cashier was shocked when Ruby went onto a cookie buying spree. We later made our way to some park, where we sat down and eat our cookies while watching the scenery. I in the meanwhile checked police database to see nothing connecting Torchwick with the White Fang

(Y/N): "There is nothing..." I sighed and looked at Ruby to see she was shoving cookie after cookie into her mouth "I told you this when we met, no one will take them from you, Cookie Monster"

Ruby: "I can't help it. I love cookies just as much as I love you, maybe even more"

(Y/N): "Really? Ruby, I'm hurt"

Ruby: "I'm joking. I love both cookies and you just as much, that's why I call you Cookie" I took a bite of my cookie and we sit there taking the view for a while

(Y/N): "I just hope others are alright"

Ruby: "Yeah... Hey (Y/N)?"

(Y/N): "Sup Ruby?"

Ruby: "We... we haven't kissed since that fight in the dock, have we?" I think for a little to see she was right. When we tried someone always interupted us

(Y/N): "No. I don't think so"

Ruby: "You think... Can we kiss now?"

(Y/N): "Sure, why not" we turned to each other and looked deep into our eyes, with a small blush on our cheeks. Ruby get her arms around my neck and I get mine around her torso. We started closing the distance between us and closed our eyes. When our lips were about to connect, our scrolls went off. We opened our eyes and sighed

(Y/N): "It's always something..." Ruby grunted

Ruby: "Why now? Always, always when we have our moment, someone or something must interrupt us..."

(Y/N): "Like Ryze when we nearly kissed for the first time..." I get my scroll to see it's Ryze calling "I let you know you just cockblocked me for the second time"

Ryze: "Sorry man, but..."

Blake: "Everyone! If you can hear me, we need back..."

Sun: "HELP!"

(Y/N): "What's happening?!"

Sun: "Big robot! And it's big! Really big! That Torchwick guy is in it! But not, like, it didn't eat him, he's, like, controlling it or something!"

Ryze: "It's looks like your mom's robots (Y/N)! But bigger!"

(Y/N): "Atlesian Paladin... We will be there soon!"

Yang: "Where are you guys?"

Sun: "HURRY!"

Sam: "Ryze, send us your location!"

Ryze: "We are near the highway, east entrance to Vale!" we heard a crash from said highway

(Y/N): "Right! Ruby, let's go!"

Ruby: "Right!"

(Y/N): "I will murder Ryze later..." with that we made our way towards the highway and when we were beneath it, Paladin fell down, same as the rest of our teams. I got Mortem and Ruby got Crescent Rose as we both get ready to attack

Ruby: "Freezerburn!"

(Y/N): "Sam, Mako, Steel Ivy!"

We backed up leaving Weiss and Yang. Weiss froze the ground and Yang jumped up into the air. She started falling down and punched the ice, creating a mist. Meanwhile Sam and Mako immobilized the robot with some steal cables and vines, giving the rest of us a free way to attack it. As Roman started to look around for us, me, Ruby and Ryze hit him in the face and we jumped back as Paladin freed himself

Ruby: "Checkmate!"

Weiss and Blake rushed Roman and started to slash his robot's legs. Weiss jumped up and stabbed one of the motion sensors. Roman then started firing missiles at them as girls somersaulted out of the way. He fired at Weiss, but she sent a time glyph at Blake, allowing her to cut all the missiles. Unfortunately as smoke clears it reveals even more missiles shot at them

(Y/N): "Spoon Bender!" Mako and Ryze nodded. Ryze grabbed Mako under his armpits and Mako used his semblance to get the missiles behind them. As they were just in front of Torchwick's robot, Ryze flew up and rockets hit the mech

Mako: "Anytime Kitty!" They got down

(Y/N): "Paladins have some weak spots on their legs and arms. If we can cut them, it should fall down or at least it should seize itself!"

Ruby: "On it! Ladybug!" I nodded

Blake and Ruby started to slash at robot's legs. Meanwhile me and Sam attacked it's arms, cutting one off a while later. After that Yang jumped on Paladin's back and started punching it rapidly. Roman jumped back, slamming Yang into some pillars along the way. Just as Yang was falling he punched her

Blake: "Yang!"

Ryze: "Babe!"

Ruby: "Don't worry. With each hit she gets stronger, and she uses that energy to fight back! That what makes her special" We looked at Yang to see her hair is glowing and her eyes went red

(Y/N): "Petals, remind me to never anger Yang..."

Ryze: "I will be a good boyfriend... I will be a good boyfriend..." he said with fear

Roman tried to punch Yang, but she caught Paladin's fist. Instead she delivered a punch of her own, destroying second arm. After that he kicked her away towards us

Ruby: "Bumblebee!"

Blake throw her pistol at Yang as she caught it. Blake starts swinging around, making Yang speed up

Ruby: "We have to slow it down!"

Weiss: "And how do you propose we do that?"

Ruby: "Ice Flower!"

Ruby stabbed Crescent Rose into the pavement as Weiss summoned ice glyphs in front of it's barrel. They froze Paladin and after getting enough speed Yang punched Paladin again, breaking off one of the legs

(Y/N): "Airstrike!"

Ryze got me high into the air as I get ready "Now!" he let me go, in the meanwhile I got both my arms and Mortem's blade on fire. Just as I was above Torchwick I quickly slashed at him with my weapon and land behind his robot as it falls to pieces and Torchwick is throw out of it

(Y/N): "And that's what I call, a superhero landing" I get Mortem back to it's compact mode and put it on my hip

Roman: "Just got this thing cleaned!" Yang then tried to shot at Torchwick, but a girl with pink and brown hair, same as her eyes and wearing white and pink blocked the shot with her umbrella. "Ladies, gentleman, Ice Queen"

Weiss: "Hey!"

Roman: "Always a pleasure. Neo, if you would" Neo bowed before us. Then Yang went to punch them but after delivering both Neo and Roman shattered into the glass. We then heard a bullhead taking off and see Neo and Roman there

(Y/N): "Great" I sighed

Yang: "So, I guess he got a new henchman"

Weiss: "Yeah, I guess she really made our plans... fall apart?" Ruby chuckled and I smiled as Blake walked away

Yang: "No. Just no"

Weiss: "What? But you do it!"

Yang: "There's a time and place for jokes" she also started walking away, with Ryze in tow

Weiss: "Was this not it?"

Yang: "No, it just wasn't very good"

Weiss: "Well, at least I'm trying!"

(Y/N): "And that's all what matters Weiss. It was good"

Weiss: "See! (Y/N) enjoyed it!"

Yang: "Only because you two are besties!" and they walked away

Sam: "I wonder how many new people will Torchwick get"

(Y/N): "That's still to find out, for now he only have this Neo girl"

Ruby: "Wait, where are Sun and Neptune?"

Mako: "Probably eating somewhere. They said they were hungry" with that we get on our way back to Beacon

A/N: Well, some team moves of CRMS are now a thing. Same as Ryze 'Cockblock' Matoi in action... I wonder if making this his official nickname from (Y/N) would be a good idea hmmm. Next time in Continuing the Legacy, we will have a chapter with less fighting and more slice of life type of thing
