*(Y/N) POV*

I was sleeping in my sleeping bag, that's until I was woken up by someone yelling. I tried to sit up but I felt something on my chest. I looked down to see it was Ruby. I imminently blushed, wondering how in the world did she get here. I gently get her from me not to wake her up and sit up, looking around in search of the source of shouting, only to spot a ginger haired girl with blue eyes bugging some guy with black hair with magenta streak and eyes. His face was full of depression and regrets

Ginger girl: "It's morning, It's morning, It's morning, It's moooorning!" she sung

(Y/N): "Poor guy" I said under my nose. I turned around to see Yang and Ryze snuggling. I went to wake him up "Hey, wake up you fiend!" I shake his shoulder and he groaned

Ryze: "Oh fuck... What the..."

(Y/N): "I see you had an eventful night"

Ryze: "What are you..." he looked at Yang "Oh shit, I sure had!"

(Y/N): "Get up, we need to get ready. Oh and I hope you remembered about protection, you know, be safe"

Ryze: "You must be fucking nuts if you think we would fuck in a room full of people" I laughed

(Y/N): "Yeah, I may. Get your lazy ass up, we have to discuss a plan"

Ryze: "Oh right, the plan" We get up, change into our gear and went to eat breakfast. In cafeteria we started talking about the plan

(Y/N): "It's simple, really. During the initiation we will search for your bro. If either of us find him then it's settled. If I heard the rumors correctly, partners are matched for our entire time in Beacon. Later we need to find a relic of some sort, so I put my money that teams will be created based on those pairs who get the same relic"

Ryze: "It's sounds logical. And what if he already got a partner?"

(Y/N): "Then we pair up and try to get the same relic as him. Pure simplicity"

Ryze: "Yeah yeah. Smartass"

(Y/N): "Intellectual, when your mother is one of the top scientists for Ironwood it's only natural you pick some things from her"

Ryze: "Oi, your mom is working for Irondick?"

(Y/N): "Yeah, so what?"

Ryze: "Nothing. At least I know now how you get so rich"

(Y/N): "What can I say, Atlas Military pay for the best and my mom give them the best" I shrugged

Ryze: "Yeah. Anyway, time to get our weapons and show them from what we are made off"

(Y/N): "Kay" We get our trays back and went to locker rooms. I opened mine and get Mortem out and on my hip. "Ryze, you got your weapons?"

Ryze: "Yup" he closed his locker and stood there with this guitar case on his back

(Y/N): "You know, you can get yourself a sheath for your blades. Why stick with a guitar case?"

Ryze: "Because it was a present from my dad. Besides I don't get much Lien on me"

(Y/N): "Understood" We are getting the final touches to our weapons. Ryze then noticed Yang and Ruby. We made our way over to them. Ruby was looking nervous at whatever Yang was saying

(Y/N): "Hey Rubes, Hey Yang"

Ryze: "Ruby, Goldilocks" he gave Yang a wink and a smile

(Y/N): "What's the commotion?"

Yang: "Hey (Y/N), hey handsome" she returned the wink "I was just telling Ruby about forming teams"

(Y/N) "Right. So whose team are you going to be in, Rosie?"

Ruby: "Um, I don't know, I... I'll just be on your team, Ryze's team or Yang's"

Yang: "Maybe you should try being on someone else's team?"

Ruby: "My dearest sister Yang, are you implying that you do not wish to be on the same team as me?!"

Yang: "What?! No! Of course I do, I just thought... I don't know, maybe it would help you break out of your shell!"

Ruby: "What the?! I don't need to break out of my shell, that's absolutely..."

Jane walks between Ruby and Yang looking completely lost

Jaune: "Ridiculous! There is no way I put my gear in locker 636 yesterday! I would've remembered having to count that high! Why does this have to happen today?"

Ryze: "Oi! Jaune! Need a hand?!"

Jaune: "Yes, please"

(Y/N): "Well, let's go. See you girls later"

Ryze: "Yeah, later Ruby. See you in a while beautiful" him and Yang exchange 'the look'. Later Yang whispered something to Ruby, making her blush, freak out and yell at her

Us three are searching for Jaune's locker

Ryze: "Oi man, you sure?"

Jaune: "I'm sure! I'd remembered if I had to count that high!" I looked to the right to see Weiss talking to a redhead in spartan armor.

'So Ozpin wasn't lying. Pyrrha is here too'

I looked behind to see a storm forming behind Weiss, just like she is planning to conquer Remnant

'She is trying to get Pyrrha to her team. Weiss, you are still that dolt I remembered'

I looked back forward to see Jaune is gone. Me and Ryze gave each other a questioning look

(Y/N): "Where the fuck..."

Ryze: "(Y/N), look behind you. I think he is flirting with Ice Queen"

(Y/N): "Oh my Oum... let's get him before he embarrass himself too much"

Jaune: "...Me. Jaune Arc. Nice to meet you" we stare at them for a while

Weiss: "You again?" Pyrrha gets next to Weiss

Pyrrha "Nice to meet you, Jaune!" Jaune just pushed her aside

Jaune: "Yeah, yeah. So, Weiss! Couldn't help but overhear your fondness of me the other day" Me and Ryze facepalmed

Ryze: "Idiot...

(Y/N): "I know Weiss since we were little. And Jaune is everything she hates in boys..."

Weiss: "Oh, you've got to be kidding me"

Jaune: "Don't worry, no need to be embarrassed! So, been hearing rumors about teams! I was thinking you and me would make a good one! What do you say?"

Pyrrha: "Actually, I think the teams are comprised of four students each, so..."

Jaune: "You don't say. Well, hot stuff, play your cards right and maybe you could join up with the winning team" Weiss get between them

Weiss: "Jaune, is it? Do you have any idea who you are talking to?"

Jaune: "Not in the slightest, snow angel" Me and Ryze finally made our way to them

(Y/N): "I don't think he knows Weiss Cream. It's good to see you Pyrrha"

Pyrrha: "(Y/N)? It's good to see you too. I thought you will choose Atlas"

(Y/N): "And I thought you will choose Haven. And yet here we are"

Weiss: "Wait, you two know each other?!"

Pyrrha: "Of course, me and (Y/N) went to Sanctum Academy"

(Y/N): "And you can say we have our history of fight" Me and Pyrrha smiled "Oh, let me introduce you to a friend of mine. Ryze, this is Pyrrha Nikos, Pyrrha, this is Ryze Matoi"

Pyrrha: "Nice to meet you Ryze"

Ryze: "Pleasure is all mine Ms. Nikos"

Pyrrha: "Please, just call me Pyrrha"

Ryze: "Okay, Pyrrha" Weiss meanwhile get out of her shock

Weiss: "Anyways, yes this is Pyrrha"

Pyrrha: "Hello again!"

Weiss: "Pyrrha graduated top of her class at Sanctum"

Jaune: "Never heard of it"

(Y/N): "Man, I told you yesterday I was a student there. It's like Mistral's Signal"

Weiss: "She won the Mistral Region Tournaments four years in a row! A new record!"

Jaune: "The what?"

Weiss: "She's on the front of every Pumpkin Pete's Marshmallow Flake box!"

Jaune: "*gasp* That's you? But they only do that for star athletes and cartoon characters!"

Pyrrha: "Yeah, it was pretty cool. Sadly, the cereal isn't very good for you"

(Y/N): "It taste like a cardboard to be fair"

Weiss: "So, after hearing all of this, do you really think you're in position to ask her to be on your team?"

Jaune: "I guess not... Sorry"

(Y/N): "Don't get down man. You have charisma, something a leader should have"

Pyrrha: "(Y/N) is right Jaune, I think you'd make a great leader!"

Jaune: "D'oh stop it you two!"

Weiss: "Seriously, please stop it you two. This kind of behavior should not be encouraged"

Jaune: "Sounds like Pyrrha and (Y/N) are onboard for Team Jaune. Spots are filling up quick"

(Y/N): "Actually Jaune, me and Ryze are planning to be in one team" Ryze nodded

Jaune: "Now, I'm not supposed to do this, but maybe I could pull some strings, find a place for you. What do you say?" he leans closer to Weiss

Weiss: "Alright, that's a bit too close! Pyrrha, (Y/N), a little help, please?!"

(Y/N): "I should do it, or you..." Pyrrha instead of answering throw her spear at Jaune as he flies across the locker room

Pyrrha: "I'm sorry!" Then and intercome draws attention of everyone in the locker room

Glynda: "Would all first year students please report to Beacon Cliff for initiation? Again, all first year students report to Beacon Cliff immediately"

(Y/N): "Okay, let's go"

Ryze: "Time to kick some ass and chew some gum!" Me, Ryze, Weiss and Pyrrha went on our way to cliff. We pass Jaune hanging on the wall of the locker

Pyrrha: "It was nice meeting you!"

Jaune: "Likewise..." We exited the locker room. I looked behind to see Ruby and Yang approaching depressed Jaune

'Oh man, I hope he get over Weiss. She for sure won't accept his games'

As we are walking, Weiss turned to me

Weiss: "So (Y/N), I was thinking if you and Ryze would like to be in a team with me and Pyrrha"

(Y/N): "From where did it come? I mean I wouldn't mind but me and Ryze are trying to find his brother and get him on our team"

Weiss: "And why is that?"

Ryze: "Last time we saw each other was before our parents divorced. Since then we had little to no contact"

Pyrrha: "I'm sorry to hear that Ryze"

Weiss: "Sooo... I was wondering how you two know each other?"

Pyrrha: "Me and (Y/N) both went to Sanctum Academy. We were good friends since our first year there"

(Y/N): "We trained with each other. Every year before Region Tournaments we were working ourselves to the bone. However this combined with my grandma's training was not enough to beat Pyrrha. She is just a natural born warrior"

Pyrrha: "Don't say that (Y/N). Last year you nearly won"

(Y/N): "Because you had a flu. And yet you won with running nose and possibly a fever"

Pyrrha: "I didn't. You gave me a hard time last year. I'm sure you are better now" I smirked

(Y/N): "I am. I will show you during initiation"

Pyrrha: "I will be looking up to that" she smiled

We arrived at the Beacon Cliff. I look around as I step onto the silver tiles that everyone else is standing. On my left I see Ruby and after her stood Yang. On my right stood Ryze and Jaune. Looking more to the left I see the guy me and Ryze are suspecting is Samuel and after him stood some guy with brown hair cut in a bowl cut

Ozpin: "For years, you have been trained to become warriors, and today your abilities will be evaluated in the Emerald Forest"

Glynda: "Now, I'm sure many of you have heard rumors about the assignment of teams. Well, allow us to put an end to your confusion. Each of you will be given teammates... today"

Ruby: "What? Aww..."

Ozpin: "These teammates will be with you for the rest of your time here at Beacon. So it is in your best interest to be paired with someone with whom you can work well" Ruby emitted a sound of what I can assume was fear. I put a hand on her shoulder

(Y/N): "Don't worry Rubes, just find me, Ryze or Yang. Everything will be okay after that"

Ozpin: "That being said, the first person you make eye contact with after landing will be your partner for the next four years" I got a feeling that someone's world just shattered

Ruby: "What?!?"

(Y/N): "Okay, now I'm not sure about that"

Then this girl from the morning talked to this depressed guy

Ginger Girl "See? I told you!"

Ozpin: "After you've partnered up, make your way to the northern end of the forest. You will meet opposition along the way. Do not hesitate to destroy everything in your path... or you will die" Jaune laughed nervously and gulped

Glynda: "Before we continue, Mr.(L/N)"

(Y/N): "Yes, Professor Goodwitch?"

Glynda: "Please try not to set the forest on fire"

(Y/N): "I will try but no promises" she sighed

Ozpin: "Moving along. You will be monitored and graded through the duration of your initiation, but our instructors will not intervene. You will find an abandoned temple at the end of the path containing several relics. Each pair must choose one, and return to the top of the cliff. We will regard that item, as well as your standing, and grade you appropriately. Are there any questions?" Jaune raised his hand

Jaune: "Yeah, um, sir?" Me and Ryze tried to stiffen our laughter as Jaune was completely ignored by Ozpin

Ozpin: "Good! Now, take your positions" I get ready, as well as Ryze, but Jaune still had his arm up

Jaune: "Uh, sir? I've got, um, a question. So, this landing strategy thing, uh, w-what is it?" meanwhile Weiss and some other random students got launched "You're, like, dropping us off or something?"

Ozpin: "No. You will be falling"

Jaune: "Oh, uh, I see. So, like, did you hand out parachutes for us?"

Ozpin: "No. You will be using your own 'landing strategy'"

Jaune: "Uh-huh... Yeah"

It was now Yang's turn as she puts a pair of sunglasses and wink at me, Ruby and Ryze. She is then launched, cheering all the way up. Ruby turns to me and Ryze, I give her a smile saying 'It will be alright' while Ryze gave her a thumbs up. She blushed as she get launched. Now it was my turn

(Y/N): "See you later, asshole"

Ryze: "Oh, Fuck you (L/N)" we fist bumped. I saluted and soon I was shot up in the air

(Y/N): "I believe I can fly!" I looked behind to see Ryze right behind me, after him flew Jaune, doing some flips. I looked back at the cliff to see a satisfied look on Ozpin's face

'He is enjoying launching students. Weird old man...'

As we flew through the air towards Emerald Forest I heard Ruby screaming

Ruby: "BIRDIE, NO!"

I turned to her and in the last second I dodged the same bird. However it hit Ryze in the face as he said 'You motherfucking bird! I will turn you into a soup!' I laughed. Soon we were near tree's level

(Y/N): "I hope Glynda won't be mad that I burned a tree or two..." I said to myself.

I got my hands before me and get them on fire to act as jets to slow me down. After slowing down I turned my semblance down and just hoped down. I looked around and started to make my way to the north. That's until I heard a growl

(Y/N): "Oi, you are approaching me?" I looked around to see three Beowolves. They started to circle around me "Alright" I get Mortem into it's scythe mode "Let's dance"

One of the Grimm tried to sneak at me, but just as he was gonna bite my neck I grabbed it by it's neck

(Y/N): "Poor strategy" I get Mortem's barrel near it's head and pulled the trigger. It's soon transformed into a black dust. I got my head down "Okay, one out, two more to go" I looked at the rest, not knowing a light mist coming from my eyes "Who is next?!" Grimms scowled and ran away "What? Hey! Come back here! I'm not done with you! Oh for fuck..." I continue to walk north, in hopes I'll bump into Ryze or Samuel soon

*timeskip, five minutes*

(Y/N): "Oh come on, where is this asshole Matoi?!"

???: "Did you said Matoi?" I turned around to see a guy looking just like Ryze, but without that red streak in his hair.

(Y/N): "Yeah, I did. And I assume you are Samuel"

Samuel: "How did you?"

(Y/N): "I met Ryze yesterday and he told me about you. I'm (Y/N) (L/N) by the way. Looks like we are stuck with each other for another four years" I offered him a hand and he shake it

Samuel: "Samuel Kiryuin. How did you met my brother?"

(Y/N): "We were on the same bullhead to Beacon. He went here to meet up with you"

Samuel: "Yeah. We haven't seen each other since our parents divorce. I'm happy to hear he is here... Well, where is he?" I shrugged

(Y/N): "Samuel..." he cut me off

Samuel: "Call me Sam"

(Y/N): "Okay, Sam. Do you know the way to the temple?"

Sam: "I was going there before I saw you"

(Y/N): "Okay, let's go!"

*small timeskip*

(Y/N): "So, Sam, about your semblance"

Sam: "Oh, I can control vines and bushes. I always loved nature so when I got it I was excited"

(Y/N): "Care to demonstrate?"

Sam: "Sure" He got his arm forward and soon a nearby tree was enveloped in thorny vines "What about you?"

(Y/N): "I can turn my body heat into fire, as well as control it"

Sam: "So?"

(Y/N): "You have a lighter on you?" he nodded and gave it to my hand. I lighted the fire and then changed it's shape to look like a circle, and later like a triangle

Sam: "Cool, just like fire benders from Avatar"

(Y/N): "Yeah, like that. I called it Hellfire. My father had a similar semblance"

Sam: "Sorry to hear that he died. I'm sure he was a good man"

(Y/N): "He was the best... " We moved bushes aside and before our eyes stood ruins. We walked to one of many pedestals and Sam picked one of the relics

Sam: "Chess pieces?"

(Y/N): "So, which one we are getting?" Sam think for a while

Sam: "You know, what about a black king?"

(Y/N): "Sure" he took a black king piece and put it in his jacket's pocket. We then heard a footsteps and saw Yang and some black haired girl with her

(Y/N): "Hey Yang. Who is this?"

Yang: "Hey (Y/N), Hey Ryze. This is Blake, she is my partner"

(Y/N): "Hi, name's (Y/N) (L/N), and this is not Ryze, Yang. It's his twin brother, Samuel Kiryuin"

Sam: "It's nice to meet you" Yang inspects Sam for a while

Yang: "Oh, I see. He doesn't have that red highlight in his hair"

Blake: "I'm Blake Belladonna. It's pleasure to meet you two"

Sam and (Y/N): "Same"

Yang: "So you two are first here?"

(Y/N): "Not quite, some chess pieces are already gone"

Yang: "Chess pieces?"

Sam: "They are the relics Professor Ozpin told us about" Yang and Blake walks to the pedestals and Yang picks up a golden knight piece

Yang: "How about a cute little pony?"

Blake: "Sure"

Yang: "That wasn't too hard"

Blake: "Well, it's not like this place is very difficult to find"

They smile at each other. In the meanwhile I could hear cursing coming from the forest. And I know exactly who it was

Ryze: "Fucking stupid bush and stupid Ursa"

Ryze walked out of the forest and with him was that brown haired guy from the cliff

(Y/N): "Oi! Matoi! Come here!"

Ryze: "I'm coming you jer..." He trailed of when he saw Samuel "Sam..."

Sam: "Ryze..." They walked toward each other and they hugged "It was too long brother"

Ryze: "Yeah, I know bro"

Yang: "So this is really your brother Ryze?"

Ryze: "Yeah Goldilocks. Sam, meet Yang Xiao Long, Yang, this is my twin bro Samuel Kiryuin"

Yang: "Hey"

(Y/N): "Yeah, yeah. Family reunions are great and all. Ryze, mind introducing your partner"

Ryze: Oh, this fella..." He was interrupted by his partner

???: "Michael Malice Mankanshoku III, but most of my friends call me Mako"

(Y/N): "Hey, welcome aboard"

Mako: "You are this guy who have a scythe as a weapon?" I nodded "I was near that dust shop week ago when the robbery happened. You and that girl in red kicked their asses"

(Y/N): "Thanks, so, let me ask you basics Mako. What's your weapon? What's your semblance? Where do you live?"

Mako: "My weapon is this baseball bat. It turns into mace and later into two semi-automatic pistols. My semblance allows me to manipulate metal. I can bend a steal beam with just a touch and I'm from Vale"

(Y/N): "I see" Then I remembered Ryze never told me his semblance "Ryze, you never told us your semblance?"

Sam: "Oh, you see. His semblance is..."

Ryze: "Don't you fucking dare!"

(Y/N): "Oh, now I must know" I said with a grin while Ryze flipped me off

Ryze: "Fine! I can fly, okay!" he hovered for a while to demonstrate it and got back on the ground

(Y/N): "Only that?! And you were so ashamed of such awesome semblance?"

Ryze: "Awesome? You can control fire, my brother can control plants, Mako here can control metal, and I can only fucking fly! What's so awesome in this?!"

(Y/N): "Well, you can fly man! You just need to find an use for it. Like quickly slashing and getting away from Grimm. Plus you can go to some places other of us can't. And maybe after your date with Yang here" I pointed to the blonde and she waved at him "You two can fly above the clouds to watch the sunset" He seemed to think about it

Ryze: "You know, maybe my semblance is not as useless as I thought..."

Sam: "I told you that when we were still together. Bro, you just need to find a way to use it"

Mako: "That's right. You know what they say, heroes are never born, they are made"

(Y/N): "Okay. Ryze, we will think about the technique after initiation. Go grab a chess piece and let's get out of..." I was cut of by a girly scream

Yang: "Some girl is in trouble! Guys, did you hear that?"

(Y/N): "Yeah"

Ryze: "It sounded like it"

Sam: "I don't think it was a girl tho..."

As we are discussing if it was a girl screaming or not, Blake seemed to be busy looking in the sky. A few seconds later I heard a voice of a Little Red Riding Hood

Ruby: "HEADS UP!"

(Y/N): "RUBES!" I used my semblance to get into the air. I caught her just in time before Jaune would hit her. She opened her eyes and looked at me "Hey Petals, did it hurt when you fall from heaven?" she blushed and responded

Ruby: "No, but I did scraped my knee when I was crawling from hell" she smirked at me

(Y/N): "Oh ho ho. I see Rose is showing her thorns"

Ruby: "It's a payback from last night. I asked you politely to put your shirt on" I rolled my eyes

(Y/N): "I know you liked the view Rubes. And don't lie to me, your blush gave it away"

Ruby: "I...I... shadup!" as she put her hood on trying to hide from me while I laugh

(Y/N): "Oh man, I'm joking Rubes" We get back on the ground and I put her down. Yang immediately hugged her

Yang: "Ruby! I'm glad you are okay. Thanks (Y/N), for catching her"

(Y/N): "No problemo" sisters broke the hug

Blake: "Did your sister just fall from the sky?"

Yang: "I..." she can't finish as Ursa emerged from the forest

Ryze: "Oh my Oum, not again..."

???: "Yeehaw!" Ursa dies and I can see the same Ginger Girl from the morning "Awww... It's broken" then this depressed guy walks to her and leans against Ursa, exhausted

Depressed Guy: "Nora! Please... Don't ever do that again" he looked up to see that his partner is gone. She went to the pillars and take a golden rook piece

Nora: "I'm queen of the castle! I'm queen of the castle!"

Depressed Guy: "NORA!"

Nora: "Hehehe, coming Ren!"

Ruby: "Did that girl just ride on an Ursa?"

Blake: "I was about to ask that too"

Yang: "I..." She can't finish again as Pyrrha runs out of the forest... with a Deathstalker hot on her heels

Pyrrha: "Jaune!"

Jaune seemed to recover from hitting the tree

Jaune: "Pyrrha!"

(Y/N): "What the hell is going on here...?"

Ryze: "What can I only describe as a normal day in Vacuo..."

Sam: "Oh, come on. I'm sure it's not that bad"

Ryze: "It's that bad bro. It's that bad..."

Blake: "Did she just run all the way here with a Death Stalker on her tail?" It's seemed that Yang had enough. She burst into small flames and her eyes turned red"

Yang: "I can't take it anymore! Can everyone just chill out for two second before something crazy happens again?"

We wait two seconds. Until Ruby tugged Yang's sleeve

Ruby: "Umm... Yang?" she pointed up and we see Weiss flying through the air hanging onto a Nevermore

Weiss: "How could you leave me?!"

Ruby: "I said jump"

(Y/N): "You two ride a Nevermore here?" Ruby nodded with 'yhm'

Blake: "She's gonna fall"

Ruby: "She'll be fine"

Ren: "She's falling"

(Y/N): "Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow" I sung while Ruby elbowed my side

Ruby: "Not the time to sing carols (Y/N)"

As Weiss was falling, Jaune leaps from the branch and catch Weiss bridal style in mid air.

Jaune: "Just... dropping in?"

(Y/N): "Your prince in shiny armor is here Weiss! Haha!"

Weiss: "Be quiet you idiot!" Soon they realize they can't fly like Ryze. They fall with screams as Jaune faceplants into the dirt and Weiss lands comfortably on his back

Weiss: "My hero" she mocked

Jaune: "My back..." In the background we see Deathstalker still chasing Pyrrha, until it throws her all the way in front of us

Yang: "Great! The gang's all here! Now we can die together!"

Ruby: "Not if I can help it!" she rushed the Deathstalker with a battle cry

Yang: "Ruby, wait!" Ruby fires Crescent Rose to get near Deathstalker faster. when the two meet, Grimm just swooped her back to the ground

Ruby: "D-Don't worry! Totally fine!" she turned back to the Deathstalker, shooting at it before turning around, turning Crescent Rose back to it's compact mode, and running"

Yang: "Ruby!" she begin to run towards her

Suddenly the nevermore that Ruby and Weiss used to get here returned and shoot several feathers into the ground. One of the feathers trapped Ruby by her cape, also blocking Yang from getting near her

Yang: "Ruby, get out of there!"

Ruby: "I'm trying!" The Deathstalker get his stinger up in the air and was about to hit Ruby. I used my semblance to boost myself forward. Before Deathstalker could hit Ruby I blocked it's stinger with my scythe. She opened her eyes to see me

(Y/N): "Hey Rubes"

Ruby: "(Y-Y/N)?"

(Y/N): "In the flesh. Now..." I created a small fireball in my hand and throw it at the scorpion Grimm, stunning it for a while " Let's get out of here before this thing wakes up "I get near Ruby and take Nevermore's feather, freeing her. Then I swiped her from her legs and carry her bridal style out of this feather trap. She turned red and again she is trying to hide herself in her cape. When we get near Yang I put her down. Yang instantly rushed to Ruby and give her a hug, as Ruby grunts in return

Yang: "I'm so happy you're okay! Thanks again (Y/N)!"

(Y/N): "Hey, anything for friends. Now, let's take the relics and get the hell out of here! It's our only objective!" but before we could do it, Deathstalker wakes up and gets ready to rush us again. Before it could do it a white blur rushes towards Grimm and later we see the Deathstalker trapped in ice. We looked there to see Weiss standing nearby the Grimm

Weiss: "You are so childish!"

Ruby: "Weiss...?"

Weiss: "And dimwitted, and hyperactive, and don't even get me started on your fighting style. And I suppose I can be a bit... difficult"

(Y/N): "A bit is a small word..."

Weiss: "Quiet you" She turned back to Ruby "But if we're going to do this, we're going to have to do this together. So if you quit trying to show off, I'll be... nicer"

Ruby: "I'm not trying to show off. I want you to know I can do this"

Weiss: "You're fine"

(Y/N): "See Ruby, if even Weiss says you are fine, you are fine" I said after putting a hand on her shoulder. She breathes a sigh of relief before putting her hands together and whisper

Ruby: "Normal knees..."

(Y/N): "What?" I chuckled and she blushed

Ruby: "Nothing!"

Jaune: "Guys? That thing's circling back! What are we gonna do?"

Weiss: "As (Y/N) said there is no sense in dilly-dallying. Our objective is right in front of us"

Ruby: "And both of you are right. Our mission is to grab an artifact and make it back to the cliffs. There is no point in fighting these things"

Jaune: "Run and live. That is an idea I can get behind"

Ruby went to grab a relic. She choose a golden knight. Ryze also went to take his and choose black king like me and Sam. Jaune meanwhile took another golden rook. Me and Mako looked at Deathstalker to see it's freeing itself from Weiss's ice trap

(Y/N): "Guys! We need to move it! Fast!"

Mako: "It's freeing itself!"

Ruby: "Right. Let's go!" She waved to the group to go as they followed her. Me, Ryze, Sam and Mako stayed behind with Yang, as she was staring at Ruby with proud face

Blake: "What is it?"

Yang: "Nothing... (Y/N), Ryze, come on!"

Ryze: "Go ahead Goldilocks. We will try to buy you some time"

Yang: "You four are sure?"

Blake: "We can help"

(Y/N): "Go! We can handle both Deathstalker and Nevermore! Ruby and the rest needs you more!" The two nodded and followed Ruby "Okay, there is the plan, Mako, you and Sam will try to get the Deathstalker out. If you two can cut it's stinger it's should be a walk around the park later. Ryze, you and me will take care of Nevermore. I need you to take me on it. I will use Mortem to cut it's head off. Everyone know what to do?" they nodded "Okay, move out!" Mako and Sam went to the Deathstalker while me and Ryze get into the air. Soon enough we were near Nevermore. He throw me onto it

Ryze: "There you go chief! I hope you know what're you doing!"

(Y/N): "I'm! Go help Sam and Mako!" he nodded, saluted, and rushed towards Deathstalker. I meanwhile get Mortem into the scythe mode "Your time has come, dark creature. Now..." I transferred some of my aura to Mortem as it's blade starts burning "Grim Reaper sends his regards..." I cut Nevermore's head with one fluid motion. It's body started disintegrating and I started falling "RYZE!" he get near me and grabbed my hand

Ryze: "I got you man. But Sam and Mako are still fighting that Deathstalker"

(Y/N): "Get me above them. I think I have an idea for a team move"

Ryze: "I'm fucking afraid to ask. What's it?"

(Y/N): "Basically you get me high above the target, drop me down, and I turn into a living torch. Let's call it Airstrike"

Ryze: "Sure, why not" he get me above the Deathstalker "You ready?!"

(Y/N): "Boy, I was born ready!" he dropped me and I get Mortem's blade on fire again "This is the moment that you die!" I shouted towards Deathstalker as I impaled my weapon into the Grimm, killing it

Ryze: "That was fucking nuts! You alright (L/N)?!"

(Y/N): "Yeah! And it wasn't nuts! It was awesome!"

Ryze: "You fucking bet it was!" and he started laughing

(Y/N): "Come on guys, we still have to get back to the cliff"

*timeskip*

As we were walking back towards the cliff we spend some time getting to know each other. Mako's dad was some kind of doctor while his mom was a housewife. He wanted to become a Huntsman in order to help his family.

Sam and Ryze meanwhile took their time to catch up. Two brothers spoke happily after being reunited, and swore to not tell their parents about it

We get near the cliff just in time to see Ruby beheading another Nevermore. I just looked in amazement until Ryze poked my side

Ryze: "You got yourself one of the most bad-ass chicks on Remnant. I would be jealous if not that I'm going after Yang"

(Y/N): "Yeah. Ruby is awesome. And Yang is bad-ass too"

Ryze: "So it's in their family"

(Y/N): "I just hope when the time comes, their father won't kill us, hehe" I scrapped the nape of my neck

Ryze: "Yeah, hehe" he scrapped his head as we walk nearby Blake, Weiss and Yang

Yang: "Well. That was a thing"

*timeskip, Beacon auditorium*

Us four are standing in auditorium, watching teams getting announced.

Ozpin: "Russel Thrush. Cardin Winchester. Dove Bronzewing. Sky Lark. The four of you retrieved the black bishop pieces. From this day forward, you will work together as Team CRDL (Cardinal), lead by Cardin Winchester" although the audience clapped, Ryze seemed not so sure about them

Ryze: "I am the only one who sense asshole vibes from those four?" Me, Mako and Sam shake our head

Ozpin: "Jaune Arc. Lie Ren. Pyrrha Nikos. Nora Valkyrie. The four of you retrieved the white rook pieces. From this day forward, you will work together as Team JNPR (Juniper) Lead by.. Jaune Arc" me and Ryze whistled

Jaune: "Huh? L-Led by...?"

Ozpin: "Congratulations, young man"

(Y/N): "We told you you can do it Jaune!"

Ryze: "Show them what you are made of Jaune! Woo hoo!" and Pyrrha hit him in the shoulder, making him fall as we laugh

Ozpin: "Blake Belladonna. Ruby Rose. Weiss Schnee. Yang Xiao Long. The four of you retrieved the white knight pieces. From this day forward, you will work together as Team RWBY (Ruby). Lead by... Ruby Rose" Weiss looked at Ruby shocked. We then see Yang giving Ruby a hug

Yang: "I'm so proud of you!"

(Y/N): "Way to go Petals! Go for it and make us proud!" she looked at me, and later at Yang as we both nodded, earning a blush from the rose

Ozpin: "And finally, Samuel Kiryuin. Michael Mankanshoku. (Y/N) (L/N) and Ryze Matoi." We walked on the stage "The four of you retrieved the black king pieces. From this day forward, you will work together as Team CRMS (Crimson). Lead by... (Y/N) (L/N)" the audience started clapping

(Y/N): "It's a great honor Professor"

Ozpin: "You earned this, young man" I nodded. I looked back to see Team RWBY giving me in order, a sincere smile from Ruby, a nod from Weiss and Blake and a big thumbs up from Yang

Ryze: "I'm not surprised. You quick thinking let us kill both that Nevermore and Deathstalker" as the rest of my team nodded

(Y/N): "Thanks guys. I swear I will not let you down"

Sam: "Don't worry chief. We are here for you"

Mako: "That's right"

'I just wonder why C...

... Calavera! Ozpin, you sneaky snake'

Ozpin: "Looks like thing are shaping up to be an... interesting year"

A/N: Initiation, done. Wonder what will happen next? What adventures awaits for either of teams. One is certain. Bullies will get their ass handed to them :^)

Tomorrow there will be a first day in Beacon. What could go wrong? We will see in the next chapter of Dragon Ball... I mean Continuing the Legacy!
