*(Y/N) POV*

Well, after a nice sleep, breakfast and telling the news to our teams about Weiss and Sam we went to watch the final fights in doubles rounds. We are currently watching Penny and her partner dealing with some of Cardin's menials. And as we expected, they got destroyed by Penny.

Oobleck: "And victory goes to Penny and Ciel of Atlas!"

Penny: "Thank you for a wonderful time"

(Y/N): "It was a sure win"

Ryze: "Ekhm" I looked at him

(Y/N): "Oh right. Here is your 100 Lien, Ryze. Pleasure doing business with you"

Sam: "Why are you paying him?"

Ryze: "Well... "

(Y/N): "We bet if you and Weiss get together before the end of Vytal Festival. And he won" Both Weiss and Sam got an angry blush

Weiss: "Why would you bet on something like that you idiots!"

(Y/N): "Like you said, we're idiots" Then I feel something dragging my arm

Ruby: "Come on Cookie, let's congratulate them!"

(Y/N): "Okay, hold the horses Petals" we went on our way, leaving Ryze to deal with Sam and Weiss.

Ruby: "Penny!"

(Y/N): "Hey, Carrot Top!" Penny turned around

Penny: "Ruby! (Y/N)!" she tackled us into a hug

(Y/N): "Oww... "

Ruby: "Why... ?" Penny got off us and I helped Ruby get up. Then Penny introduces us to her partner

Penny: "Ruby, (Y/N). This is my teammate"

Ciel: "Ciel Soleil"

Ruby: "Hi! I'm Ru-"

Ciel: "Ruby Rose, 15, hails from Patch. Leader of Team RWBY. Status: questionable"

(Y/N): "Wow, someone did her home-" Ciel looked at me

Ciel: "(Y/N) (L/N), 17, hails from Atlas. Leader of Team CRMS. Status: Formidable opponent" Ruby looked at me as I just shrugged

Ruby: "So... Penny! You two were incredible out there. How do you keep control of those swords? It's so cool-"

Ciel: "Penny, I believe it is best if we move on to our next location"

Penny: "Could we have just a minute to talk?" Ciel looked at her watch and then stepped back

Ruby: "So, is she your friend, or... "

Penny: "Well, in a way... she's like Blake, but if Blake was ordered to spend time with you"

(Y/N) and Ruby: "Ohhh, so Weiss"

Penny: "Precisely!"

Ruby: "Does she know about... you know... beep bop bop, does not compute" She did some robot moves

Penny: "Oh no, General Ironwood doesn't really want anyone to know. There was an incident with a magnet, but I was able to play it off"

Penny proceeded to tell us how a magnet got stuck to her head, and she covered it with a hat. Girls laughed while I just chuckled

Penny: "Ruby, (Y/N). There's something I've been wanting to talk to you two about"

(Y/N): "Shoot, Carrot Top"

Penny: "I want to stay at Beacon" We looked at her shocked

(Y/N): "Penny, there is no way James or your father will allow you"

Ruby: "They'll never let you do that"

Penny: "I know. But I have a plan" Ciel walked back to us

Ciel: "It's been precisely one minute, ma'am!"

Penny: "I will talk to you both soon, (Y/N) and Ruby"

Penny and Ciel walked away and then Port announced another match

Port: "Our next match will begin in fifteen minutes"

Ruby: "Oh my gosh, that's right! It's time for Yang and Weiss' fight! Come on Cookie!"

(Y/N): "I will go grab some popcorn. Go get our seats"

Ruby: "Okay!"

*Timeskip*

After getting some snack I make my way back to Ruby and the rest of our pack

(Y/N): "What did I miss?"

Ruby: "Nothing much, Yang and Weiss are warming up"

Sam: "We still have to talk about your and Ryze's bet... "

(Y/N): "Hey, you two bet about me and Ruby too"

Ruby: "What?!"

Sam: "Um... okay, guess we're even... "

(Y/N): "Okay, let's get back to the match"

Weiss: "Well, seeing as their kingdom, academy, and armed forces are all merged as one, I think we can expect strict militant fighters with advanced technology and carefully rehearsed strategy"

Ryze: "Yeah, right. We have an example of 'strict Atleasian guy' right here" he pointed at me

(Y/N): "I may live in Atlas but I don't have a stick shoved up my ass like some people"

We looked back at the stage to see a dark skinned guy with black sunglasses and fedora, holding a trumpet. He is wearing a black vest on white shirt with tugged sleeves, black dress pants and silver dress boots. Next to him stood a Faunus girl with light red hair and some light blue highlight in it, tied on two ponytails on the sides of her head and a pink tail. She is wearing a light blue tank top on top of a dark purple bra, dark purple short shorts under a pink combat mini-skirt, and a white belt with a yellow winking smiley face on the buckle. Most noticeable are her roller blades and a tattoo under her left eye. Her weapon of choice are a pair of nunchucks

(Y/N): "Heh, Flynt and Neon" Everyone looked at me surprised

Blake: "You know them?" I nodded

(Y/N): "Yeah, Flynt's father had a small Dust shop nearby where I live. And Neon... let's just say we spend some time in one hospital room after an accident" They gave me a questioning look "*sigh* I was walking around Atlas and she crashed into me. I had a broken wrist while she had a twisted ankle. We spend about a week in one hospital room" We again looked back to the arena

Flynt: "Hey. You're Weiss Schnee right? The heiress"

Weiss: "I'm"

Flynt: "I take it you're pretty good with Dust then"

Weiss: "I do my best"

Flynt: "Yeah, my dad was good too. Owned a little dust shop of his own... Til your father's company ran him out of business"

Weiss: "Oh... I'm sorry to hear that"

Flynt: "Sure you are... " he said with a clear sarcasm

Yang: "Hey, why don't you-"

Neon: "Hey, why don't you. That's what you sound like"

(Y/N): "Still the same annoying little cat, aren't you, Neon?" I said under my nose while shaking my head

Yang: "Uhhh"

Neon: "Hey, where'd you get your hair extensions?"

Yang: "This is just my normal hair"

Neon: "Ooooh really?"

Yang: "Yeah, is that a pro-"

Neon: "You should try roller blading sometime. It's super fun. It'd probably take you a while though since your so, you know, top heavy" Yang looked down at her chest

Yang: "Excuse me?!"

Ruby: "Oh, here we go" Me and Sam in the meanwhile are trying to keep Ryze in place

Ryze: "That little rainbow bitch... Let me go, you bastards! I will cut her tail off!"

(Y/N): "Calm down you dolt!

Sam: "Bro, we can't intervene!"

The arena opens up around them and a moment later, they are surrounded by four different sections: a geyser field behind Yang and Weiss, a ruined city to their left, a lava field behind Flynt and Neon, and a desert field to Yang and Weiss' right.

Port: "Three, two, one... Begin!"

Immediately Flynt plays his trumpet, sending both Yang and Weiss back. Neon use the sound wave created by him and hit Yang further back

(Y/N): "Okay, it looks like... " I felt my scroll ringing "Excuse me, someone is calling again. Blake, can you help Sam and Mako with holding Ryze?" She nodded and I went to make my exit. I took of my scroll to see Ozpin calling

Ozpin: "Are you busy (Y/N)?"

(Y/N): "Well, I'm with Ruby and our teams, watching Yang and Weiss' fight. So, any reason to call me?"

Ozpin: "We decided to find our new fall maiden, and as her guardian it would be good for you to be here when it happens"

(Y/N): "Okay, I will be there. Can I at least know who it is?"

Ozpin: "Be patient. We will tell you everything. Glynda will let you know when"

(Y/N): "Understood. Have a great day, Professor"

Ozpin: "You too, Mr.(L/N)" I get my scroll back to the pocket and walked back

Neon: "Oooh, flashy eyes. You know you're actually kind of pretty when you're angry"

Yang: "Shut up! Shut up! SHUT UP!" Yang quickly yells, firing her shotguns behind her and propelling her forward at Neon.

(Y/N): "So, I see Yang let Neon into her mind *tsk* this is bad... "

Sam: "Not only her... Weiss also got upset. Flynt said something like 'too bad money can't buy you skill' or something along the lines"

Ryze: "How can you be so calm Sam?! He is mocking YOUR girlfriend!"

Sam: "Because I know she can beat him... "

Ryze: "Whatever... "

We looked back to see Neon riding around Yang and Flynt holding Weiss' rapier under his foot as Weiss is lying nearby

Yang: "Get back here!"

Neon: "I wasn't trying to say you should go on a diet. I was saying you really need to go on a diet"

Yang: "That's it!"

Neon: "You're fat"

Flynt turned to the duo and activated his semblance, getting ready to blast Yang off. Weiss notices a fire pit was about to go off and tackle Flynt, deactivating his killer quartet as they both land in the explosion. Later we hear a buzzer

Yang: "What?"

Sam, Ruby and Blake: "Weiss!"

(Y/N): "To do this... of all the stupid... "

Port: "It appears we have a double knock out on our hands!"

Oobleck: "In fact, it looks as though Miss Schnee's Aura has been completely depleted. She sacrificed herself to save to take out Flynt. Wait a minute. What's this?" The smoke cleared and we saw Flynt was stumbling on his legs. I looked up to see his Aura at 16%, right above the red, while Weiss' Aura goes to 0

Port: "Ladies and gentlemen, Flynt Coal remains standing"

Neon: "You did it, Flynt! Don't worry about her, she's easy, but kind of annoying"

Ryze: "And they crossed the line... "

Port: "Ooh, it looks like Yang's angry, and you wouldn't like her when she's... " Yang screams of rage filled the arena "... Upset" Yang went berserk and shoot two powerful shots at the duo

Flynt: "Yo Neon, go!"

Mako: "They just fucked up... Yang went into a Super Saiyan... "

(Y/N): "Yup. That's why Ryze is afraid of her"

Ryze: "I'm not afraid of my Goldie!"

(Y/N): "Keep telling yourself that... " We looked back to the fight to see Yang using her gauntlets to proper herself down Flynt's shockwave. When she got near, she crushed the windpipe of his trumpet. As every kid after middle school knows, energy just can't disappear, the shockwave burst backwards and send Flynt flying back, depleting his Aura

Oobleck: "Oh, sour note for Flynt"

Neon: "Never miss a beat. Never miss a beat. Never miss a... " Neon says until her left rollerblade hits a rock and knocks her off balance," Beat!" she rolls some distance, ending up on a geyser. It erupts and sends her flying up. Yang just smiled and shot from her gauntlets at Neon, which explodes like fireworks. We then hear a buzzer as Yang calms down and run to Weiss

Yang: "Weiss! Weiss, are you okay?!"

Weiss: "I may not be singing for a while"

Yang: "You know, I'm not sure that was proper form"

Weiss: "Oh ha-ha"

Neon: "WHAT?! We lost?! We lost?! Team FNKI (Funky) LOST?!" That was... That was... AMAZING! Oh my gosh, you guys were super crazy awesome. We should definitely party together sometime. Right Flynt?"

Flynt: "That was a gutsy move, Schnee... I dig it" Us six run down to them

Sam: "Weiss!" he got near her "You know how worried I was?! I would expect that type of move from (Y/N) or Yang"

(Y/N) and Yang: "Hey!"

Sam: "But you?"

Weiss: "*cough* Don't worry. I'm fine" she then remembered something "So *cough* when are we going?" Sam smiled

Sam: "Get yourself together Snowflake and let me know, okay?" Weiss nodded

(Y/N): "Okay, lovey dovey stuff out. Good job you two. I thought that you will lose"

Ryze: "They got into your minds, we were afraid... " Flynt and Neon noticed me

Neon: "(Y/N)?! Is that you?!" I turned around

(Y/N): "*sigh* Hey you two. Good fight I must say. It was close" Neon just crashed into me "Not again. Neon, get off me!"

Neon: "What?! I was just giving you a hug!"

Flynt: "Yo, (Y/N). Where have you been, man?"

(Y/N): "Training" I stood up "Seven years of training" I then felt my scroll ringing again. I took it out to see it's Glynda "I would like to talk with you guys more, but I have some things to do, so see ya"

Neon: "Of course! See ya (Y/N)"

Flynt: "Next time you're in Atlas, let us know"

Neon: "We will party all night!" and they walked off and I made my way back to Ruby

(Y/N): "Petals, Ozpin wants something from me. I will be back before the singles rounds starts" she nodded and I made my way to Ozpin's office

*timeskip*

I'm riding the elevator to Ozpin's office, thinking who it will be

'Hmm, let's see. To be a maiden you have to be skilled in combat, and you need to be trustful. Hmmm... '

The doors opened and I saw Ozpin and Qrow talking

(Y/N): "I'm here as asked, Professor Ozpin" I looked at Qrow "Hey Qrow"

Qrow: "Sup Matchstick" he turned back to Ozpin "So, have you chosen your guardian yet?"

Ozpin: "Maidens choose themselves. I simply believe I've found the right candidate. Ever since the day I met her, I had a feeling she would be the one. She's strong, intelligent, caring, but most importantly... She's ready" Me and Qrow moved back

(Y/N): "So, who?" We then hear the elevator ding and Pyrrha entered the room

Ozpin: "Thank you for coming Miss Nikos... Please take a seat"

Pyrrha: "Thank you Professor"

Ozpin: "I've been informed that you'll be taking part in the singles round. Well, it comes as no surprise that they've chosen you to move on to the final round of the tournament. Your performance was exemplary"

Pyrrha: "Thank you Professor Ozpin, but I would never have made it this far without my teammates"

Qrow: "Personally, I think it's the other way around" He spoke, getting Pyrrha's attention

(Y/N): "Come on Qrow, they weren't that bad... " she looked at me

Pyrrha: "What are you doing here (Y/N)?" She then looked at Qrow "I'm sorry, but, I don't believe we've been introduced"

Qrow: "Name's Qrow"

(Y/N): "As to what am I doing here, it will be clear soon"

Ozpin: "Qrow is a trusted colleague of mine and (Y/N) have a reason to be here"

Pyrrha: "Professor, if you don't mind me asking, why have you called me here?" she turned back to Ozpin

Ozpin: "Please, take a seat" Pyrrha sat down "What's your favorite fairy tale?"

Pyrrha: "I'm... sorry?"

Ozpin: "Fairy tales. Stories from your childhood. Surely, you must remember some of them" Pyrrha thinks for a while

Pyrrha: "Well, there's the tale of the two brothers, the shallow sea, the girl in the tower-"

Ozpin: "What about the story of the seasons and guardians?"

Pyrrha: "Oh, of course. A callous, old man, who refuses to leave his home is visited by four traveling sisters. The first understands his reclusive nature and urges him to use his time and solitude to reflect and meditate. The second brings him fruits and flowers, tending to his crops and revitalizing his garden. The third warms the man's heart, convincing him to step outside and embrace the world around him. And the fourth and final sister, begs him to look at all he has and be thankful. In return for their kindness, the man grants the maidens with incredible powers, so that they may continue to help others all over the world. They graciously accept, and promise to share their gifts with the people of Remnant until the end of days. Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall. The four maidens. And guardians were supposed to be the protectors of maidens. Each guardian's power comes from the maiden he is supposed to protect. My mother loves that stories"

Ozpin: "Would you believe me if I told you that one's been around since I was a boy?"

Pyrrha: "Heh, you're not that old, Professor"

Ozpin: "Well, would you believe me if I told you it was true?"

Pyrrha: "I beg your pardon?"

Ozpin: "What if I were to tell you that there were four maidens existing in this world, that could wield such tremendous power, without Dust?"

Pyrrha: "You mean like a semblance?"

Ozpin: "Like magic"

Pyrrha: "I-"

Qrow: "Yeah, first time hearing it's pretty crazy"

(Y/N): "I got my mind blown when Oz told me about it"

Pyrrha: "You're serious?"

Ozpin: "Do I look like I'm joking?"

Pyrrha: "... No... Why... Why are you telling me this?" Ozpin looks at me and Qrow as we nod

Ozpin: "We're telling you, Pyrrha Nikos, because we believe that you are next in line to receive the fall maiden's powers"

(Y/N): "And so, making me your guardian"

Pyrrha: "... We?" then the elevator dings and out of it step Glynda and James

Ironwood: "Sorry we're late"

Pyrrha: "Wait... What is this? Who are you?"

Glynda: "You know who we are. We're still the same teachers, headmasters and friends you met when you arrived at Beacon"

Qrow: "Except we've got a little part time job

Ironwood: "We are the protectors of this world"

Ozpin: "And we need your help"

(Y/N): "Pyrrha, whenever you decide to accept it or not, we won't be mad. But if you accept, be sure I will be by your side, protecting you. Just like my ancestors tried to protect previous fall maidens. It's my duty as fall maiden's guardian"

Pyrrha: "I want to see her... "

Ozpin: "Very well"

*timeskip*

We all boarded the elevator. Pyrrha seemed awkward so I put a hand on her shoulder trying to help her loosen up

Pyrrha: "Where are we going?"

(Y/N): "Under the school. To the vault where Amber is"

We soon get to our floor. Everyone walked out of elevator, leaving only me and Pyrrha

(Y/N): "Pyrrha, everything will be fine, don't worry" we get near Glynda

Glynda: "I'm sure you must have questions"

Pyrrha: "Maybe one or two... I still don't understand. You said I was next in line to receive the maiden's power. What do you mean by that?"

Glynda: "The maidens have existed for thousands of years, but much like in nature, the seasons change. No two summers are alike. When a maiden dies, her power leaves her body and seeks out a new host, ensuring that the seasons are never lost, and that no individual can hold onto the power forever"

Pyrrha: "What about (Y/N)?"

Glynda: "Mr. (L/N)'s case is not much different. Guardian's powers are passed from father to son, with some exceptions. Given we only know about one line of guardians we assumed this is how it works"

Pyrrha: "So, how does the power choose?"

Qrow: "Through a series of stupid and convoluted rules"

Glynda: "Qrow"

Qrow: "Hey, don't get mad because I'm right"

Glynda: "At first, the only thing that was certain was that the powers were specifically passed onto young women. But as time went on, it was discovered that the selection process was much more... intimate"

Pyrrha: "Intimate?"

(Y/N): "Whoever is in maiden's last thoughts is the next candidate to receive her powers"

Qrow: "Unless it's a dude, or some old hag. Then the power goes to someone random, and our jobs get a lot harder"

(Y/N): "That was the case for Amber. She received her powers while still attending Beacon"

Qrow: "And since Albert died, I was the one fulfilling the role of guardian for her. Kid was still to young to be of any help" I nodded

Pyrrha: "Why tell me all of this now? Why not wait until I've graduated?"

Qrow: "Honestly, we've run out of time. I don't know if you've noticed, but things are getting a lot scarier out in the world. Tensions are high, Grimm are growing stronger, more prevalent, and it's not gonna be much longer before this peace we've all been enjoying so much goes out the window"

Pyrrha: "You're not... talking about war?"

Ironwood: "Not a war between nations"

Qrow: "We can fill you in on the details once we know you're with us. For now, all you need to know is that one of the maidens was attacked, and for the first time in history, part of her power was stolen"

We eventually get near the chamber containing Amber. She was only in some white cloth. We can hear beeps of life support machines in the background

Pyrrha: "Is that-"

Ozpin: "*sigh* The current fall maiden... Amber"

Pyrrha: "She's... still alive"

Ironwood: "For now. We're using state of the art Atlas technology to keep her stable. But there is a lot about this situation that is... unprecedented"

Pyrrha: "What do you mean?"

Ironwood: "*sigh* Well, we don't know what will happen if... when she passes"

Pyrrha: "Won't her power just transfer to the next host?"

(Y/N): "Not in our current situation... "

Qrow: "Look who's been listening. She is smart"

Ironwood: "Under normal circumstances, yes. But this is a delicate situation. It's not uncommon for the last thoughts of the slain to be of their attacker. And to make matters worse, no one's ever seen the power split like this before. For all we know, it will seek out its other half"

Pyrrha: "Her assailant"

Ozpin: "And that would not bode well for any of us"

Pyrrha walked closer to Amber's chamber and put her left hand on the glass

Pyrrha: "If all of this is true, why keep it secret? If this girl is so important. If, if we're truly on the brink of war, why not tell everyone?!"

Glynda: "From what we understand, it used to be common knowledge"

Pyrrha: "Excuse me?"

Qrow: "How do you think legends and fairy tales get started? Even the craziest ones come from somewhere" he pulled out his flask

(Y/N): "Qrow, not the time to drink... "

Glynda: "Our group was founded in order to protect both mankind and the maidens. Those hungry for power hunted them with the hope of inheriting their strength"

Qrow: "And as you can imagine, the ones that succeeded weren't exactly the kind of people you'd want to have unimaginable power"

Ironwood: "And so this brotherhood chose to remove maidens and guardians from the public eye, allowing their existence to fade away into legend"

Glynda: "The things we're telling you go against hundreds of years of human history. Religion-"

Ironwood: "No one would want to believe us. It'd cause an uproar-"

Ozpin: "It would cause panic. And we all know what that would bring clawing to our kingdoms' walls. Which is why we would like to-"

Pyrrha: "I'll do it... If you believe this will help humanity... Then I will become your fall maiden. That's what you wanted, isn't it?"

(Y/N): "Yes, but Pyrrha, it's not that simple now... "

Ozpin: "Given Amber's condition, you won't be able to inherit her power naturally. However, General Ironwood believes he has a solution" he gestured to James

Ironwood: "For the past few years, Atlas has been studying aura from a more scientific standpoint. How it works, what it's made of, how it can be used. We've made... significant strides, and we believe we found a way to capture it"

Qrow: "Capture it, and cram it into something else. Or in your case" he gestured to Pyrrha

Pyrrha: "That's-"

Ironwood: "Classified"

Pyrrha: "Wrong!"

(Y/N): "I don't like this too, but we have no choice..."

Glynda: "The feeling is mutual. But, desperate times call for desperate measures"

Ironwood: "And these are indeed desperate times. We can't transfer Amber's power to you, but we can give to you what those powers are bound to"

Pyrrha: "... Her Aura"

Ozpin: "Her life would become intertwined with yours. The question is... "

Qrow: "What's that gonna do to you?"

(Y/N): "You may become a different person Pyrrha. Although it's only our suspicions, there is a chance it could happen... " Pyrrha looks down, I could clearly see she was unsure

Ozpin: "... You have an important decision before you, Miss Nikos. There's no guarantee this transfer will work. Like Mr.(L/N) said, there's no telling if you will be the same person if it does. I'd advise you to take time to think on this matter. But understand, that before the Vytal Festival is over... We will need your answer" Pyrrha turned around and put her hand on Amber's chamber again

(Y/N): "Pyrrha, no one here can make you do it. It's your choice. I can tell you only one thing" I looked into her eyes with a serious look "I will be there to help you and so is your team" I scratched the nape of my neck "Oh, and if you can, please don't tell anyone I'm guardian. Better keep things close to our chest for now" she smiled at me

Pyrrha: "Thanks (Y/N). And I won't tell anyone. I promise" I returned the smile

(Y/N): "Good, now, let's head back. We have a tournament to win!" she nodded and we get back to the elevator

*Timeskip, back at the Colosseum*

Port: "Now, for the moment you've all been waiting for. The one-on-one finals!"

I and eight other students were standing in the center of the arena. Yang on far right, some student next to her, Sun, two other students, Penny, Mercury, me and finally to my left stood Pyrrha

Port: "Barty, why don't you explain the rules"

Oobleck: "Ah, it's quite simple, Peter. Instead of a bracket system, each round of the finals will be randomly determined immediately before the match takes place"

Port: "Much like any good hunt, there will be zero time to prepare!"

Oobleck: "Ah, yes, yes, now let's see who our first match will be!"

We stood there, waiting to see if we were to fight first. Finally it stopped on Mercury and Yang

Port: "Yang Xiao Long and Mercury Black!" I can hear Ruby and Ryze screaming from the stands

Ruby: "Break a leg, sis!"

Ryze: "Knock them out Yang!"

Port: "Would all other combatants please leave the stage!" We all went back to the stands to join our teams and the arena transformed into a single ring.

(Y/N): "Too bad. I was hoping I will fight Sun or maybe Pyrrha first" I said with a frown

Ruby: "Oh, don't be so grumpy Cookie. I'm sure you will be next"

(Y/N): "Yeah... " she pecked my cheek

Ruby: "Better now?" she smiled at me

(Y/N): "Heh, you know how to brighten my day, Petals" I smiled back and we turned to the match

Yang: "You better not go easy on me"

Mercury: "You wish"

Port: "Three! Two! One! Fight!"

The match starts off with Yang's fist connecting with Mercury's boots. Later they started to trade blows

(Y/N): "Mako, remember when I said to keep an eye on them?"

Mako: "Yhm. Except Mercury's legs we have nothing"

(Y/N): "Strange... I somehow have a bad feeling. Like something is about to happen... "

Yang and Mercury continue to exchange punches and kicks, until Yang uppercuts Mercury, and punches him in the stomach, sending him to the floor. She then fires her weapon at him, making him do a backflip to avoid them, until his luck ends and he gets hit by one. It sends him over the edge, but when we thought it was over, he somehow boosted himself back on the stage. They instantly get back to fight, with Mercury kicking Yang, making her go to the defense. That's until she fired off her weapon again, but Mercury just jumped up and kicked her back a few meters. He then uses the distance to fire some homing projectiles all around the area. Yang went to hit him, but he parried it and kicked her to the ground. All those projectiles then hit lying Yang, causing dust and smoke to fill the arena. Mercury then stands up and dust himself off. Seconds later, the dust is all blown away as one very angry Yang emerges from it. She immediately charges Mercury with a combo of punches. He tried to fight back, but to no effort and soon Yang send her final punch to his gut, destroying his Aura

Port: "What a way to kick off the finals!"

Oobleck: "Yang Xiao Long wins!"

Ruby: "Yeah! You did it, sis!"

Blake: "Way to go, Yang!"

Ryze: "You kicked his ass Goldie! WOOHOO!"

(Y/N): "Good job Yang!"

Yang: "Better luck next time"

Yang walks past the downed Mercury, heading towards the exit. She then stopped, spun around and... punched Mercury straight in the leg. With his aura deployed, most people think it must be broken. We all are shocked as the crowd started booing Yang

(Y/N): "What the hell?!"

Oobleck: "My word!"

Port: "Cut the cameras!"

Mercury started to hold his leg, as me and Sam noticed Yang was looking very angry

Mercury: "Ah, my leg! My leg!"

Yang: "That's what you get, you little-huh?" she looked around to see she was surrounded by Atleasian Knights and two soldiers

Soldier: "Yang Xiao Long, stand down!"

Yang: "What!? Why!?" We saw Emerald running to the stage

Emerald: "Mercury!"

Mercury: "Why'd she do that? Why'd she attack me?!" he started to cry hysterically. I would give him an Oscar for his acting, knowing that he has metal legs. But still, why would Yang attack him?

Emerald in the meanwhile scowled at Yang, as our blonde friend looked up at the screen to see a replay of what just happened, leaving her completely shocked and horrified. She then looked at us, only to meet our equally scarred and horrified faces. Ruby hugs my arm, trying to calm down while I pet her head. Ryze had his mouth fully open while Sam was shaking his head and Mako looked away from her gaze. Later she was escorted by the security

'Something is wrong, and I need to find out what... '
