*(Y/N) POV*

After our morning routines we continued our journey. Ruby is leading us, with map in her hands

Ruby: "Come on guys! If we pick up the pace we can hit the next town before sunset"

Jaune: "Assuming it's still there"

Ruby: "Of course it'll be there! This one's supposed to be pretty big" she then tried to spell 'Higanbana' "Hee.. gan.. bay.. na.."

Ren: "Higanbana. It's a well protected village with a popular inn"

Nora: "Which means... no camping in the rain!"

Ruby: "See? Everything's gonna be fine"

(Y/N): "Eternal optimist, aren't you Ruby?" I turned to Jaune "No training for tonight, take a well earned rest Jaune"

Jaune: "You know, we've had a lot of ups and downs, but things could be a lot worse. Really thought we'd see more Grimm"

Ren: "As did I"

'Heh, Qrow is not slacking'

Nora: "I guess our luck is finally turning around. To Higanbana!"

Ren, Jaune and (Y/N): "To Higanbana!"

Ruby: "To Higanban... banna!" I chuckled

(Y/N): "Close enough Petals" I turned around and spotted a Beowolf on the cliff, getting ready to attack us, but soon Qrow impaled his sword into it.

*timeskip*

We finally arrived in Higanbana, we checked in different rooms, one for guys and one for girls. I was lying on my bed and pulled out a group photo of Team CRMS, RWBY and JNPR. It was taken just as we started second semester.

(Y/N): "Heh, good old times..."

Jaune: "What you're looking at (Y/N)?"

(Y/N): "Nothing much. Just the photo we took after the first semester. I miss those simpler times... Like you in the dress during the dance" I started snickering and Ren smiled

Jaune: "Arc always keep his words"

(Y/N): "Ryze have a video of it, and he nearly choked when he saw you *sigh* Okay guys, we have more walking tomorrow, night"

*timeskip, next morning, Ryze POV, Patch*

I was out, helping Tai with the garden. He was watering the flowers while I rip off any weeds. Then, the door opens up, and out walks Yang... with her new prosthetic arm. She uses it to shield her eyes from the sunlight before flexing it around. I smiled at the sight

Ryze: "Well, I'll be damned. So, you ready Goldie?" she nods

Tai: "Okay... Let's get started" he smiles as well

*(Y/N) POV*

I woke up, stretched and looked around our room. Ren just woke up too and Jaune was still soundly asleep.

(Y/N): "Morning Ren" he nodded and looked at Jaune

Ren: "You want me to wake him up?"

(Y/N): " I got it" I walked to Jaune and... dragged him on the floor

Jaune: "Ow!"

(Y/N): "Morning, sleeping beauty. Get up, we need to move"

*Timeskip*

After gathering everyone we went on our way

Nora: "Another day, another adventure!"

(Y/N): "Yeah... adventure..."

Ruby: "Something's wrong Cookie? Since you wake up you lose your mood. Try to cheer up! Every step we take is another step closer to Haven Academy!"

(Y/N): "It's just... I have this weird feeling that someone is following us"

'And I'm sure it's not Qrow...'

(Y/N): "Also, Mistral is still a long way ahead of us"

Ruby: "When you said that... Haven is sure a lot farther away than I thought"

Ren: "Ruby, how long did you think this journey was going to take?"

Ruby: "I don't know! I grew up in a small area. I've been this far away from home"

Jaune: "Right but... how long?"

Ruby: "Maybe like, uh...Two weeks?"

Jaune: "WHAT?!"

Ruby: "Okay, fine, three or something!" she calmed down "Look, whatever"

(Y/N): "Anima is the largest continent on Remnant, Ruby. But from what I know we are nearly here..."

Ruby: "Hey, what's that?" we all looked up to see an abandoned village. Nora goes to stand on top of a wooden fence, getting a better view

Jaune: "That's strange...I didn't think we'd hit another village for a few days"

Nora: "Are those buildings... damaged?"

(Y/N): "So, bandits again?"

Jaune: "We should search for survivors!" Us five rushed towards the village.

Each of the buildings there is unfinished, like something or someone stopped people living here to finish them. We searched for any people, Ruby picked up some wooden planks but finds nothing, while I checked some buildings to see them empty

Ruby: "Anything?"

Nora: "Nothing over here!" she shouted from a top of one building as Ren knelt down

(Y/N): "Building are empty too"

Ren: "It almost seems like the town was abandoned"

(Y/N): "I mean, unfinished buildings and no living soul here. It's abandoned for sure"

I walked to Ruby as Nora and Jaune proceed forward with Ren

(Y/N): "You feel it too, Petals?"

Ruby: "I..." she was cut off by Nora

Nora: "Hey! I think I found something" we get near them as Nora moves leaves from the sign showing the name of the village, Oniyuri "Oniyuri? Hm, never heard of it"

(Y/N): "I traveled through Anima, but I'm not familiar with it too"

Ren: "I am... You might think of it as Anima's Mountain Glenn, had it never been completed. Years ago, the richest members of Mistral were unhappy with how the kingdom was being run. Frustrated with the council, they pulled their resources together to build their own city. With their own laws. They hoped that one day, it could maybe become its own kingdom. Many thought it would be the future..." He turned around and walked few meters away from us "I know my parents did" We all looked at Ren shocked. He never told us much about his past

Ruby: "What happened?"

Ren: "What always happens"

(Y/N): "Grimm..."

Ren: "Not just any one" he clenched his fists

Ruby: "...One?" something scared the birds as they flew over the city

Jaune: "Come on, let's just get through here. This place gives me the creeps"

(Y/N): "Agreed. This place just emits all the negativity, bringing the Grimm..." we started walking again, getting deeper into this village and soon reaching the village's center.

*Sam POV, Atlas*

Thanks to (Y/N)'s mom I somehow sneaked in for this whole charity concert Weiss' father was organizing. I got in just in time to hear Weiss' singing, and (Y/N) was right. Her voice is beautiful

Weiss: "I'm not your pet. Not another thing you own. I was not born guilty of your crimes. The riches and your influence can't hold me anymore. I won't be possessed, burdened by your royal test. I will not surrender. This life is mine!"

'Good thing you listened to me, Snowflake'

Weiss ended her song as I and all the audience started clapping. She bowed, looked around and upon seeing me I put my finger on my lips, letting her know to be quiet. She slightly nods, turns around and walks off the stage. Later I made my way to the ballroom, taking one martini from the waiter. I then overhear some of the conversations and ughh! I knew I had to hear it again, like when I was living with my mother, all this snobbish talk is making my ears rot. I then spotted Weiss' father, Jacques, talking to some guy in glasses as she stands by his side

Jacques: "That's precisely my point. We offer Faunus the exact same wages given to the rest of our mining staff. Their arguments are completely invalid right out of the gate"

'Oh you will pay, Jackass. I didn't forget about what you did to Alice. And... I have evidence now... you will go fart behind the bars soon"

Businessman: "Atlas, Mantle. You can't deny the economic disparity between the two"

Businesswoman: "I mean, what exactly are you suggesting?" Weiss looked to the right. I followed her gaze to see a painting of Beacon

'Damn, guys, I will be there soon. I just need to get Weiss out somehow' she wanted to walk out, her father grabbed her arm

Jacques: "Where are you going?"

Weiss: "I'm... Just a little thirsty"

Jacques: "Sweetheart, we have people for that"

Weiss: "What? No, I can get it. I'll be right back, I promise" they looked at each other for a second, but Jacques turned back to the conversation

Jacques: "I'm sorry, I tuned out for a second, but sounds like I'd be the good guy again?"

'Good guy my ass, you will get what you deserved' I observed Weiss as she walked to the painting of Beacon, with her arms crossed. as some guy started speaking to her

Some guy: "It's beautiful. You two match"

'This motherfucker is hitting on my girl?! Oi, like (Y/N) would say, there will be revenge!'

Weiss: "Yes, it's a lovely painting"

Some guy: "So, that was my attempt at breaking the ice. How am I doing so far?"

Weiss: "*sigh* You are leaving a lot to be desired"

Some guy: "Well I've always appreciated honesty. Henry. Marigold" he offered her a handshake as Weiss looks at him

Weiss: "Weiss Schnee"

Henry: "I know. I saw your performance... Obviously" he cleared his throat "You were wonderful. And I promise I'm not just saying that because you're pretty...Honesty, remember. So, you thinking about buying it?"

Weiss: "No. I don't think so" she replied coldly

Henry: "Yeah, kind of pricey for a painting"

Weiss: "It's to raise, money"

Henry: "Oh, really? For what?"

Weiss: "For what?!"

Henry: "Heh-heh. I'll admit, I only come to these things for the food and drinks. And the extraordinary company, of course. So, what? Is it another Mantle fundraiser or something?" Weiss get beyond annoyed

Weiss: "Get. Out"

Henry: "Heh, what?"

Weiss: "Get out, or I will have security escort you out"

Henry: "But I haven't done any-"

Weiss: "LEAVE!" I decided to step in

Sam: "Are you deaf? Lady asked you to leave, knucklehead" they turned to me

Henry: "And who are you?"

Sam: "Samuel Kiryuin, heir to the Kiryuin Conglomerate. I suggest you leave before I make you"

Henry: "Pfft. Whatever" he walks away, leaving me and Weiss alone

Sam: "So, what's u-" Weiss hugged me

Weiss: "It's good to see you Sam! I was missing you!"

Sam: "Hey, I was missing you too, Snowflake" we broke the hug

Weiss: "What're you even doing here? I thought that you will be with (Y/N) and Ryze"

Sam: "I'm here to get you out. (Y/N) had an idea to go after those who attacked Beacon. Him and Ruby are on their way to meet with Mako in Mistral" she looked down "And maybe speak with your father about some things... like Mako's sister"

Weiss: "What about her? What does my father have to do with Alice?"

Sam: "*sigh* Snowflake, Alice's biological parents died in your father's Dust mines..." she gasped "And I sneaked my way to his office to gather evidence. It's all on this pen drive" I showed her the stick and hid it back in my dress trousers' pocket and we looked at the painting. Beneath it was a card saying 'Show the world we care. All proceeds go to the Kingdom of Vale' Weiss closed her eyes, as then some trophy wife started talking about The Fall

Trophy Wife: "Does it come as any surprise what happened to Vale? It was a long time coming if you ask me"

Sam: "Tsk... The nerve of rich assholes..."

Husband: "Honey..."

Trophy Wife: "What?" she laughed " You said the same thing last night. If they're so arrogant to think they can get by without proper kingdom defense, then I say good riddance"

Weiss: "Shut up!" we both looked at this blonde woman with disgust in our eyes, as everyone looked at Weiss

Jacques: "Weiss?"

Weiss: "You don't have a clue! None of you do!"

Trophy Wife: "Excuse me?"

Weiss: "You're all just standing around talking about NOTHING! Worrying about your hair, your money, your stupid problems that don't mean ANYTHING!" Jacques walked to us and grabbed Weiss by the wrist

Jacques: "Weiss, that's enough"

Weiss: "Let go of me!"

Jacques: "You're embarrassing the family!"

Weiss: "I said let go!"

Sam: "I would suggest letting her go... Jacques" Weiss managed to free her arm, but fell to the floor. Then a glyph appears next to her, as white Boarbatusk is summoned.

Sam: "Snowflake! You did it!" Weiss looked shocked at her summon, as Grimm roars and charges the noble wife

Trophy Wife: "Ah! Please, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, just leave me alone!"

Just as the Grimm was about to attack, someone shot it dead. I looked to the source to see General Ironwood

Trophy Wife: "Arrest her!" he did nothing "What are you waiting for? She's insane, she should be locked up!"

Ironwood: "She's the only one making sense around here" He then spotted me "Except this boy. It's nice to see you, Samuel"

Sam: "It's good to see you too, General" Jacques turned to me

Jacques: "Who the hell are you? Guards! Arrest him!"

Sam: "I would not try that, Jacques. Samuel Kiryuin, First year student of Beacon Academy and a member of Team CRMS. Son of Raya. And most importantly, your daughter's boyfriend"

Jacques: "That's absolutely..."

Sam: "Shut up, will ya?!" I helped Weiss up, as she had a small blush on her face. Later she stands next to me

Jacques: "Weiss, come here, now!" Weiss looked at her father, but I looked at her, giving her some kind of confidence boost. She looks back on her father and shakes her head "What?! How dare-" I cut him off

Sam: "You say Weiss is embarrassing this family. But, what about you? A small hypocritical man who is dragging Schnee family name through the mud. I fought arm in arm with Weiss during the Fall of Beacon, defending our school and lives of other people. Something a coward like you would never do. Anyone in this room full of snobbish people would never do except for me, Weiss and General Ironwood! Because, Weiss' true worth is something you can't put a price tag on. What more, how can you say you defend the Schnee family name when you have a blood of innocent people on your hands. Tell me, how many Faunus died in your mines? How many of your former employers are suddenly found dead when they start to speak their minds about how you treat them?! I wonder what your business partners would say if they found out? I'm sure my mother would be furious, finding out one of her business partners turned out to be nothing more than a greedy man that would kill his own employers in order to keep control and make money. "People started talking as Jacques started to get nervous

Jacques: "There is no evidence for that!"

Sam: "Ohohoho! And you never been more wrong Jackass! You see, when you have a friend who is smart in technology, he can easily teach you how to hack into some terminals, terminals like the one in your office" I snickered at him "Well, it's been a lovely party, Jacques, but I must be going. Elly said we have pizza for dinner tonight. And being a good guest I would not like to show up late" I turned to Weiss "Snowflake, I have to go. Don't worry, I'll be nearby. Stay strong" she pecked my cheek

Weiss: "You too"

Sam: "Gentleman" I bowed and walked out

*Back in the Anima, (Y/N) POV*

We were walking in around as Ren suddenly stopped us with his eyes closed

Ren: "(Y/N)"

(Y/N): "Yeah, I hear it too. Something's coming"

We take out our weapons, letting the rest know to be ready too. Then a man landed in front of us and rushed us, but Ren interrupted him. They exchange clashes and Ren tries to kick this guy, followed by shooting him, but this guy just parries every attack. He then attacks Ren with his weapons, which Ren blocks, and later throws a kick that Ren ducks under. However, this lunatic attacks with his blades once more, this time sending Ren flying back. Later he rushed Ruby, but I got before him. I swing my scythe at his left side, but he just twirls over it. I tried a backhand strike but he blocked it. He swings his blade at me, but I block his attack with Mortem's handle. Later I kicked him in the chest, sending him back, as I rushed him with my scythe, However he stepped aside and roundhouse kicked me. I get my arm down in the last second, making me slide back. I tried shooting at him, only for him to evade every shot, getting closer. I swung my scythe upwards at him, but again he sidestepped, swiped my off my legs and kicked me away. Not having anything standing between him and Ruby, he went to attack her. Ruby swings her scythe at him, but he blocks it, followed up by a spin kick that knocks her back. He attacks her again, but Nora blocks the attack and swings her hammer down on him, but he jumps over the swing and kicks Nora in the face. Getting Nora out of the way, he goes back after Ruby. Smiling, he spins around to kick her weapon away, forcing her to spin it in defense, and then deals a direct hit on her with his blades. Luckily, her aura protected her, but it did some damage. Just before he can land another blow I get near, grab his arm and slam him to the ground. Just before I could kick his head, he rolls out of the way and swings his blades at me, forcing me to block it with Mortem's blade.

Jaune then comes up from behind, but he notices this and swings around to climb onto his shield like an animal. Jaune grits his teeth at him, but he just smiles right in his face. Nora runs up from behind, forcing him to push off of Jaune and stand on top of her hammer. I rush him again ,swinging my scythe at him, but he just jumps high into the air, crashing into the top side of a nearby building, balancing himself on two wooden support beams. We regroup and look at him

Jaune: "We're not looking for a fight!"

(Y/N): "Who the fuck are you?! What do you want from us?!" he smiled and get down, landing in front of us

???: "Who I am matters not to you" he pointed to Nora "Or you" he pointed to Ren "Or... Well... You do interest me" he pointed at Jaune "No, I only matter... to you two!" he pointed at me and Ruby

Ruby: "...Us?" he chuckled and than laughed maniacally

???: "You, you haven't the slightest clue, do you? Oh, how exciting this must be!"

Ruby: "What do you want?!"

???: "Oh! The rose has thorns! My little flower, I'm here to whisk you away with me" I get in front of Ruby

(Y/N): "She is not coming anywhere with you, as long as I'm alive"

???: "Worry not, guardian, you must understand that you're coming with me too" The rest of our group looked at me confused

Jaune: "Guardian?"

(Y/N): "Later Jaune" I turned back to the man "If you want MY ROSE, then you'll have to kill me!" the man closed his eyes, inhaled air through his teeth, than he opens them while smiling an evil grin

???: "Good" he suddenly got behind me, about to attack. I turned around and blocked it with my scythe. Ren tried to shoot at him as he just dodged the bullets, and clashed with me again. Ruby gets near us, trying to slash him, but he pushes me away, and later kicks her back.

(Y/N): "Ruby! Charge Nora!" she nodded and got ready to shoot. In the meanwhile, Jaune gets near us. He tries to swing at the man, as he just leans back and later kicks him in the head, before finishing Jaune with a kick to the jaw. I returned to slashing him, that's until I noticed Ruby is ready to take a shot. I jump on his shoulders, and later away from him, as Nora gets his attention. Soon we hear a shot sound, as a bullet flies past this man's head and hits Nora. The man just laughed while Ruby smiled

???: "Well, if that isn't ironic" he sensed something was wrong.

As we all can hear electricity sparking from Nora. With a grin, and about 300 kV of pure lighting Nora rushed this guy, and hammered him right in the chest, creating a shock wave. We all covered our eyes. When the air cleared we could see this man was alright. as he was blocking Nora's hammer with... his tail

???: "Surprise" He kicks Nora twice in the face, before leaping backwards and upwards onto the roof, leaving his coat behind.

Ren: "He's... a Faunus!"

Ruby: "What is this about?! The White Fang?! Roman Torchwick?!"

???: "Plastic soldiers and pawns. My heart and belong only to our goddess"

Ruby: "Cinder..." Ruby said with anger

???: "Only in her wildest dreams!"

The man leaps down, using his tail to get Crescent Rose down. Ruby however didn't lose her grip on it. The two exchange attacks until the man kicks Ruby backward

(Y/N): "Hands off her!" I rushed the man again. He turned to face me and started to rush me too. We got within melee range, I swung my scythe, but this guy just blocked it with his tail. I tried to push harder, our faces inches apart

???: "You have spirit, guardian"

(Y/N): "Shut up! I'm for sure won't go with you to Salem. And I will die before I allow her to touch Ruby!"

???: "So you know about my Queen" he smiled crazy at me "This is so exciting!"

He shoved me, but I regained my footing and rushed at him again. This time he used his tail to smack Mortem out of my hands, and later used both of his legs to kick me away as I crashed into a nearby building. I look up to see this crazy guy kicking Nora away, as Ren tries to attack, but leaps away a while later. Letting Ren be, he goes after Ruby again. He delivers a right hook to her face and left hook to her torso before using his tail to knock her into the air. While Ruby is still in the air, he kicks her right in the stomach.

(Y/N): "RUBY!"

The man walks towards lying Ruby, raising his stinger above her. I got out of the ruble and rushed this man, but when I was just about to swing, he turned around, used his blades to parry my scythe and punched me straight in the face, sending me flying into the same building. I again get out of the ruble, only to feel a massive pain in my knee

(Y/N): "Stupid fucking injury..." I spotted Jaune, Nora and Ren watching in horror as the man went to hit Ruby with his stinger "Jaune! Help her!" but he sat still, closed his eyes, and turned his head away as I tried to stand "Help her for fuck sake!" I kneeled down, as pain in my knee intensified, I used my last resort "QROW!"

My pleads were successful, as Qrow busted through the building and blocked the stinger with his sword

Qrow: "Hey"

(Y/N): "Took you long enough, Big Bird!"

*3rd POV, Schnee manor*

Weiss sits on her bed in her room, head lowered and hands folded in her lap while her father paces back and forth in front of her.

Jacques: "Unbelievable. Absolutely unbelievable" he turns to Weiss "Do you have any idea what your stunt cost us?"

Weiss: "I-"

Jacques: "And don't think I'm just talking about lien here! Our reputation! Our...Our... *sigh* Not only that, son of Raya just came here out of nowhere, not invited and ruined the event, saying you two are together. He even went as far as to bring those accusations against the company and me! Who that boy thinks he is?!"

Weiss: "His name is Samuel, and he IS my boyfriend. He was a student like me and we became a couple. He was there, fighting right beside me during the Fall of Beacon"

Jacques: "Although me and Raya are good business partners, I won't allow you to date such a degenerate"

Weiss: "He's not a degenerate! He just decided to live his life like he wants!"

Jacques: "Bringing his mother shame... It seems you have forgotten many things about this family since you left for Beacon" Weiss clenched her fists

Weiss: "I want to leave"

Jacques: "I beg you pardon?"

Weiss: "I said I want to LEAVE. I don't want to stay here anymore. I don't want to stay in Atlas anymore!"

Jacques: Young lady, I don't give a damn about what you want! This isn't about you! This about the Schnee family name and your apparent insistence on dragging it through the mud" Weiss stands up

Weiss: "I became a huntress to uphold the Schnee name, just as my grandfather did long ago when he started the company, and the family legacy. I have done NOTHING but fight to uphold the honor of MY family name, a name that you married into!" her father slapped her hard on her left cheek, making her head spin to the side as she gasps and later looks at Jacques

Jacques: "This behavior of yours is incredibly disappointing. You couldn't possibly understand the lengths I've gone to in order to keep this family where it is. What I've had to do to keep it strong against vermin like that Kiryuin boy that ruined the party. You think running off like your sister, and befriending people like that are going to make the Schnee name stronger? You're wrong. Ridiculous actions such as those only makes our family weaker"

Weiss: "I'm not doing anything to make the family seem weak. I'm doing what I feel is right, and that does NOT include wasting my time up here. The people of Atlas have no idea what I've been through, nor what Sam has gone through, or anyone that's not from Atlas. I refuse to spend another minute with these people. The Schnee family legacy isn't yours to leave. It's MINE, and I'll do it as a huntress"

Jacques: "No, you won't," he starts and slowly walks to stand in front of her. "You're not leaving Atlas. You're not leaving the manor grounds unless I specifically allow it. You ARE going to remain here, out of sight and out of trouble, until you and I come to an agreement on your future"

Weiss: "What?!"

Jacques: "Your presupposition that you can simply have whatever you want is a clear sign of our failure as parents. But from now on, I'll be giving you the full attention you require, starting by keeping you where I can see you. And keeping you away from bad influences like Samuel Kiryuin"

Weiss: "You can't just keep me from leaving!"

Jacques: "I can. And the staff here will make sure of it"

Weiss: "So now I'm just your prisoner?!"

Jacques: "You are my daughter. You're a child, and children are grounded when they misbehave"

Weiss: "This is only going to make things worse, Father. People will ask questions! They'll want to know why the heiress to the Schnee Dust Company is suddenly nowhere to be found!"

Jacques: "Which is why you are no longer heiress to the Schnee Dust Company"

Weiss: "Excuse me?"

Jacques: "Clearly the trauma you endured at the Fall of Beacon was too much for you. Which is why you've generously revoked your claim to the company and its earnings and passed it on to your brother Whitley. It's time to wake up and face reality" he leaves, as Weiss catches a glimpse of Whitley. She later storms out of her room

Weiss: "Whitley!"

Whitley: "Yes, sister?"

Weiss: "Did you know about this?"

Whitley: "About what?"

Weiss: "You never liked Winter. You never liked me. But you've been nothing but supportive since the moment I came back"

Whitley: "If being kind to my big sister is some sort of crime, then I suppose I'm guilty" Weiss' eyes widen

Weiss: "You WANTED this to happen" Whitley leans forward, changing his expression from a smile to anger

Whitley: "It's foolish not to do as Father asks"

Weiss: "I can't believe you! (Y/N) was right! You are just a brat!"

Whitley: "Don't worry, Weiss. The Schnee family name is in good hands. And say hello to (Y/N) from me. That's if Father let you out" he turned around and left. Weiss stared at him for a while, before returning to her room. She collapsed on the bed and started crying

???: "I heard everything, Snowflake" Weiss looked up to her balcony, to see Sam. He later enters her room and walks to her

Sam: "Weiss. I'm sorry for what happened to you. (Y/N) for sure was right. Your father is an asshole and your brother is just a spoiled brat. Family... this is not family, this is a guild of backstabbers and cheaters. Family is supposed to care about you, protect you. Not hurt and stab you in the back like they did" Weiss got her head up and looked at Sam, as he got his arm and wipes away the tears "Much better. Your makeup was melting" he smiled at her "I can tell you, I had a similar situation with my family"

Weiss: "You mean... You and your mom?"

Sam: "Not only this. Overall. Divorced parents, mom who only cares about her finances and future. Dad who was so hurt by her he moved to another country. Brother who was growing up in Vacuo"

*meanwhile, Patch*

Ryze: "Achoo!"

Tai: "Bless you"

Ryze: "Thanks Tai. Now, where were we? Ah! Why did ant-eater cross the road?"

*back in Atlas*

Sam: "I mean, he always says it's a bad place, but I think he is overreacting"

Weiss: "*giggle* It's like his catchphrase. Port was telling us one of his boring stories, Ryze wake up, went 'He never been in Vacuo' and get back to sleep" the duo started laughing

Sam: "I didn't know you also thought his stories were boring? So, what did you note during the lecture?"

Weiss: "I was writing some lyrics. The song I performed tonight was born during said lectures"

Sam: "And it was beautiful. I assume you wrote it in order to piss off Jackass?" she nodded "You know, Weiss. We thought you are 'goody two shoes'"

Weiss: "Sam!"

Sam: "But, when you want, you can have fun"

Weiss: "I always have fun... it's just I do not always show it" they sit in silence for a while "Remember what you told me after you met Winter?"

Sam: "That it's your legacy, not your father's. I'm glad you listened, but Weiss, you have a choice to make, like I had. Do you want to try rescuing your position as a heiress? Or. Or, maybe you want to go with me to Mistral, making your father mad beyond everything?"

Weiss thinks for a moment, before noticing two airships fly by her window. She then gets a determined look on her face

Weiss: "Help me move some of this stuff" her and Sam get up.

Weiss moves to the window and pulls the curtains shut. She and Sam then push her bed over several feet, then Weiss pushes a desk back while Sam kicks aside a low glass bench at the foot of her bed, making a large space in the corner of her room. Weiss walks over to a vanity table with a long white case marked by the Schnee family symbol on it. She opens the box, revealing her weapon Myrtenaster and a few Dust vials inside. She lifts her weapon and holds her blade directly in front of her face, smiling.

Sam: "There they are" Weiss turned to him "Your eyes, Snowflake. The eyes of Weiss Schnee I remember. Weiss Schnee who CHOOSES her own future"

Weiss: "Thanks Sam, for everything"

Sam: "Anything for the women I love" they smiled at each other

*Back in Anima, (Y/N) POV*

???: "As I live and breathe! Qrow Branwen. A true huntsman has entered the fray!" he bowed

Qrow looked back at Ruby

Ruby: "I don't know, this guy's weird"

Qrow: "Look, pal, I'm not sure who you are. But you need to leave my niece alone"

???: "Why friend, my name is Tyrian. And I'm afraid that is not possible. My assignment from her Grace was to retrieve this young girl and the guardian. So that is what I must do. One does not upset the queen"

Ruby: "Queen?"

Qrow: "Salem"

Ruby: "Who?"

Tyrian: "Hmm, I think we've had enough talk now, don't you?"

Qrow: "You took the words right out-" Qrow can't finish as Tyrian lunges at him.

Qrow swings his sword twice to block his strikes and then counterattacks with a third. Tyrian moves back and then jumps into the air as he tries to swing his blades at him again. Qrow dodges and then swings at him again, but Tyrian backflips away to avoid it. Tyrian jumps, spinning in the air, as he swings his pincer blades at Qrow again. Qrow runs at him, swinging his sword upward to knock Tyrian back. Tyrian lands on all fours, blades scraping against the ground, and then ducks as Qrow swings his sword at him. Tyrian attacks with his tail, but Qrow blocks it with his sword behind him and spins around to slam his sword down on him. Tyrian moves right to evade it and then blocks another strike from Qrow as he spins around on one leg to move his sword to block another strike from behind. Holding his sword in a reverse grip, Qrow attacks again, but Tyrian dodges it. Tyrian launches his tail at Qrow twice, but Qrow blocks each attack and then spins his sword around before he jumps into the air, spinning his whole body around as he comes to slam his sword down on Tyrian. Tyrian blocks with both pincer blades, but is forced onto his knees. The impact from the collision causes part of a roof of a nearby building to break off and fall to the ground.

Ruby: "(Y/N)!" She ran to my side, as I was holding my knee

(Y/N): "Don't worry Petals, my knee is just reminding about itself" we looked back to the fight "Help me up, I will try to help Qrow"

As Qrow blocks the shots with his sword, Tyrian circles him, firing a constant barrage. Ren and Nora tried to help him, but Tyrian notices their sneak attack and dodges it easily, knocking them away as they land next to me, Ruby and Jaune. Tyrian rushed us, to chase his new pray, but Qrow intervenes to hold him back

Qrow: "Don't come closer!"

Ruby: "Fine!" She uses Crescent Rose recoil to get up on the roof, taking a vantage point to shoot at Tyrian.

However, both him and Qrow move too fast for Ruby to get a clear shot. I tried shooting at him with Mortem's shotgun, but, every time both of them get too close before I could fire a shot so I decided to back off

Qrow blocks a jab from Tyrian's tail and counters. Tyrian parries it before trying to slash and kick Qrow. He however ducks before swinging his weapon at Tyrian. He avoids them, before using his tail as a spring to gain some air, as he opens fire from his guns. Qrow blocks the attack then fires one of his own and dodges another tail attack.

Scorpion Faunus however manages to use his tail to disarm Qrow. His sword impales into the building's wall, as Qrow rubs his wrist. As they slow down, it allows Ruby to fire a shot after shot. However after the first one Tyrian just deflects each with his tail. Qrow meanwhile curls his hand into a fist, shrugs and punches Tyrian straight to the nose. Tyrian recoils slightly, but Qrow was not giving him any time, sending punch after punch, kicking him in the torso in the end. He later did a total badass move by walking to retrieve his sword, not caring about Tyrian

'Yup. Now I know why Ruby likes him a lot'

Qrow turns his back to Tyrian, as the later one lunges forward, but Qrow just leaps on top of his own weapon. Later using its gun barrel, he propels himself to a rooftop. Tyrian follows him as they exchange slashes. Qrow gets to the edge of the roof. Tyrian jumps into the air after him, but when he lands on the damaged beam, it breaks and he falls into the building. Qrow jumps up, but gets his left leg caught by Tyrian's tail, and gets pulled down with him. The crash inside the building, while the roof collapses on top of them

As we see the roof collapsing on them. Ruby uses her scythe to slide down the roof and runs towards said building. I ran after her

(Y/N): "Got your back, Petals"

Just as we reach the building, Qrow comes crashing out through the wall. He bounces of the ground before throwing his sword, which impales into the ground. He uses it to slide on it for a while, before stopping standing on top of it. I noticed a flicker of damaged Aura move over his body. Tyrian meanwhile comes out of the building and rushes Qrow. But before they could crash again, Ruby jumps between and deflects Tyrian's blades. I jump after her and stood on her and Qrow's left

Jaune: "Ruby!" I turned my head to see Ren keeping him in place

(Y/N): "Oh, now you're concerned about her! We have to talk, Arc!" I turned back to Tyrian

Tyrian: "Do you wish to be taken?"

Ruby: "No! But I won't stand by and watch someone get hurt!"

(Y/N): "Same as me!"

Ruby and Qrow move in to attack Tyrian, who parries each blade, as the three continue to clash. I get behind Tyrian, trying to land a slash, which would cut his tail off. But before I could he used it to parry my slash, pushing me back. Qrow in the meanwhile gets kicked away, as Ruby blocks the bullets. She tries to slash Tyrian again only for him to block, and trying to stab Ruby with his stinger again, but Qrow blocks it

Qrow: "Ruby! What did I say?! Get back!"

Ruby: "This is my fight too!" We both tried to attack Tyrian, Ruby from left, I from the right. Tyrian just laughed and jumped over our attacks.

Qrow: "No, it's not that. It's--"

Ruby shouted as she charged Tyrian. He jumped up and drop kicked Ruby.

(Y/N): "Petals!"

I noticed a wooden beam falls above Ruby. It nearly crushed her, but thanks to Qrow slicing it in half she is unharmed. The duo smiles at each other, only for Tyrian to scratch Qrow with his stinger. Let's say I was not happy

Qrow: "Gah!"

(Y/N): "Tyrian!" he looked at me "You want the guardian, you got it!"

I haven't noticed fire started around my whole body. I picked up Mortem, as its blade started burning with orange flame. I rush Tyrian, slash after slash. He tires to block or parry, but to no effort

(Y/N): "You can tell Salem, she can fuck off. Ruby!" she nodded.

I get my scythe near his tail base, as Ruby hooked Crescent Rose by its end. We both fired our weapons, cutting Tyrian's tail clean off as he started to scream in pain

(Y/N): "Petals, go check on Qrow..." She got back as I smirked "You thought that I would just let you go before damaging you even more? Hahaha!" My face deadpanned "I will make you regret coming after us..."

With that I started punching him in the face. With every hit his aura flickers. I grab his head and slam it into the ground. After getting on top of him I continue to deliver punch after punch as he screams every time my fist connects. Soon his Aura breaks, and I can start the real fun. Let's say, I never thought that you can break someone's nose like that. Few more hits and his face starts to swell

(Y/N): "Heh, I love punching bad guys. You know, Tyrian, It reminds me of a guy, name's Mercury. If he is with Salem, can you ask him how're his legs" However this distraction let him kick me off him. He later tried to get away but I grabbed his ponytail "Uh, huh, huh. I don't think so. Haven't your mom ever told you it's rude to turn your back to someone who speaks to you?"

Tyrian: "AH! LET ME GO! LET ME GO! I DIDN'T KNEW!"

(Y/N): "Hm, nope" I tugged his hair as he landed on his ass. Later I started to kick him "You came after MY ROSE!" I kicked him "You attack us, knowing there is a Guardian in this group" I kicked him again "And you ask for mercy? I will tell you that" I leaned close to his ear "I'm merciless to any and each of my enemies" I get back up "You know, entertain me. You have a Queen, and I assume you must be her Joker. You have five seconds to run and never show your ugly face. Time starts... now!" He mumbled something to himself, before struggling to run away without his tail. I turned back to my group as they look at me with wide eyes

(Y/N): "What?"

Ren: "You just..."

Jaune: "How did you get your body on fire? I thought your semblance only allows you to set your hands?"

(Y/N): "Ehh... I will tell you soon" Then Qrow gets down as me and Ruby get near him

(Y/N): "Qrow!"

Ruby: "Uncle Qrow! Are you okay?"

Qrow: "*pant* I'll be fine. He just grazed me" he get his hand down and we can see a quite deep cut

(Y/N): "We need to bandage it Qrow" the rest of our group gets near us

Nora: "Who was that guy?"

Ren: "How did you get here?"

Jaune: "Why are people after Ruby and (Y/N)?"

Ruby: "Uncle Qrow? What's going on?"

(Y/N): "It's time we tell them the truth, Qrow" Qrow looked at Ruby

Qrow: "What's your favorite fairy tale?"
