*(Y/N) POV, Mistral*

Some days have passed since our date. I was sitting in the living room with Ruby leaning on my shoulder as I continue to read my dad's notebook

(Y/N): "Oh, that's interesting"

Ruby: "Huh?"

(Y/N): "My dad wrote here that there are three stages of Ignition" Ruby is clearly confused

Ruby: "Ignition? What's that?"

(Y/N): "When I beat up Tyrian back there in that village I accidentally set myself on fire, remember?" she nods "It's what my dad called Ignition. And the three stages differ by the color of flame. Back then it was orange if I remember. It was the first stage. Stage two is red flame and stage three is blue flame"

Ruby: "But you already set Mortem on blue fire? Isn't that it?" I shake my head

(Y/N): "It was mostly because of Mortem absorbing some of my Aura. And it was only my weapon, not my body. I just wonder if my cape is fireproof"

Ruby: "Your clothes were fine after you set yourself on fire like a living torch for the first time, so don't worry"

(Y/N): "I just don't want to destroy your present for me. I can get used to wearing a cloak"

Right, I started wearing that cloak Ruby got me. I kept it to my jacket with one skull pin and one rose pin Ruby got me. She also has a skull, pinned to her belt.

(Y/N): "And thanks for the rose pin, Petals"

Ruby: "Thanks for the skull too" Then Mako entered the room

Mako: "Guys! Gu-" he trailed off when he saw us, both in our capes "Since when do you wear a cape, (Y/N)?"

(Y/N): "Since our last date. Ruby got it for me" to which Ruby nods with 'yhm' "Anyway, what's so important?"

Mako: "Right. I finally got the response from my friend in Menagerie" This picked our interest

Ruby: "And? Is Blake there? What is she doing there?"

Mako: "To answer your questions, Rosie. Yes, she is there and she mostly went to visit her parents. There is no knowing if she will come here" Ruby was saddened by the news "And Sun is with her too"

(Y/N): "That's all?" Mako nods "*sigh* Thanks Mako, at least we know she is safe"

Mako: "I wouldn't say that. He spotted some of the White Fang near Belladonna's Family House"

(Y/N): "Shit... And we can't help her because we're not allowed there. God dammit!"

Ruby: "There must be something we can do to help her"

(Y/N): "Petals. As much as I would like to do something for her, unless you are a Faunus and I somehow didn't noticed, there is no way they allow you to Menagerie"

Ruby: "Poop..."

*3rd POV, Menagerie*

Blake and Sun, after their unsuccessful attempts to gather Faunus in order to save Haven Academy, decided to take a break. Currently the duo sits by a table near one of the fruit drink stands. Sun takes a sip of his drink before he slams it down on the table.

Sun: "I don't get it! How can they just sit around and do nothing with the White Fang getting ready to attack?"

Blake: "Because not everyone is like you and me. The Faunus here in Menagerie, the ones that weren't born on the island, moved here because they were tired of fighting, of having to struggle constantly. Menagerie is filled with people that just want to be left alone, and here we are, asking them to put the rest of the world before themselves"

Sun: " I guess I never really thought about it like that"

Blake: "The problem is, whatever happens at Haven is going to affect them whether they like it or not. If Adam gets his way and Haven falls, it's only going to make things worse for the Faunus. Everywhere"

Sun: "Adam... He's the guy you used to... work with?"

Blake: "*sigh* Yes" she gets uncomfortable as Sun get his arms up in defense

Sun: "Sorry, forget I brought it up"

Blake: "No, it's okay" silence occurs for a moment "Have you ever met someone and thought to yourself, 'They are the personification of this word'. Sun rubs his head in confusion

Sun: "Uh..."

Blake: "Okay, well, I remember getting to know Ruby and thinking, 'this girl is the embodiment of 'purity''. After a while, I realized Weiss was 'defiance'. And Yang was 'strength'. When I get to know (Y/N) and his team better I saw that (Y/N) is 'resolve', Ryze is 'zeal', Sam is 'wisdom' and Mako is 'honesty'"

Sun: "What am I?" Blake smiles

Blake: "Jury's still out on that one, but I'm leaning towards 'earnest'"

Sun takes his drink in his tail and drink it, striking a pose as Blake giggles and later frowns

Blake: "At first I thought Adam was 'justice', then I thought he was 'passion'. But over time, I realized I was wrong. He wasn't any of those things. He was 'spite'. Not 'hatred', not 'rage', 'spite'. He won't accept equality, only suffering for what he feels the world did to him, and his way of thinking is dangerously contagious. That's what worries me about Ilia. She's not like Adam, not yet at least, but I don't know how long that will last"

Sun: "She was your friend, huh?"

Blake: "She was. Her chameleon traits meant she could pass as human. She could've lived a normal life if she wanted, but she didn't. I always admired that. She lost her family in a mining accident when she was young, then she joined the White Fang. Like me, she was more or less trained on the road alongside other Faunus. She learned to survive, to defend herself, but as people like Sienna and Adam started to gain a following, she became more dangerous. I guess I did too. My parents tried to get me to leave with them, but I refused. I had Adam and Ilia, after all"

Sun: "You know we're gonna have to face her eventually"

Blake: "I know"

Sun: "So, what are you gonna do?"

Blake: "I'm going to try and help her the way you helped me" Sun gets surprised "You showed me that sometimes you need to be there for a friend even when they don't want you to be. I was drowning in guilt and fear, I tried to push you away, but you didn't give up on me. And I can't give up on Ilia. It's about time I saved my friends for once" Sun smiles at her. They sit there for a while until a red haired fox Faunus gets near them

???: "I'm sorry. Are you two Blake Belladonna and Sun Wukong?" this raises Blake and Sun's suspicions as Sun point his weapon at him

Sun: "And who are you?! Are you from the White Fang?!" fox Faunus lowers Sun's weapon with his finger

???: "Quite the opposite monkey boy. I'm Dereck Ruppell, and I think we have some mutual friends"

Blake: "Is that so?" as she narrows her eyes at him

Dereck: "Does the name 'Michael Mankanshoku' ring the bell?" Sun and Blake's eyes widen

Blake: "Mako?"

Dereck: "Yup. He asked me to search for you, Ms. Belladonna"

Blake: "But, why?"

Dereck: "He said his team leader had a plan to investigate what happened in Vale. I also overheard you search for people to help stop the White Fang's attack on Haven Academy. Well, you can count me in" he smiles at the duo as Sun offers a handshake which the fox Faunus instantly took

Sun: "Welcome onboard, man"

*(Y/N) POV*

I stormed into the living room, with Mortem on my hands

(Y/N): "Oscar!" he jumps up and shrieks

Oscar: "W-what? W-what did I do?"

(Y/N): "You're slacking with your training! Downstairs! Now!"

Oscar: "R-right. Sorry!"

(Y/N): "Don't waste your breath on apologies. Let's see if Oz is going somewhere with you" Oscar nods and we get to the downstairs arena.

Oscar: "Sooo, how are we doing this?"

(Y/n): "Grab your cane, tell Oz to not intervene and let's see if you're ready to eventual combat"

Oscar speaks for a while with Oz before nodding. I turn Mortem into a scythe. Oscar instantly tensed as he gets into a battle stance

(Y/N): "Loosen up, kid. It's not Atlesian military"

Taking my advice Oscar loosens up, relaxing. I give him no time to prepare as I rush him, trying to slash him in the chest. He reacts quickly, pushing the blade away as he dodges to the side. Continuing the spar I spin around, trying to slash his right side, but Oscar catches my scythe with his cane once again. While he tries to hold it, I try to overpower him

Oscar: "Shouldn't we use a wooden weapon or something?!"

(Y/N): "This is a test, Oscar. In real battle your enemies won't use wooden weapons"

Oscar: "Test?"

I didn't respond, as I used the occasion to kick his legs, making him fall. I then go for an overhead strike, as Oscar's eyes widen when he rolls out of it the very last second, elbowing me in the face, making me skid back as he stands up

(Y/N): "Not bad for a week of training"

Oscar: "That wasn't fair!"

(Y/N): "Kid, do you really think that Salem, Cinder or any associates of them are going to fight fair?"

I continue to attack him, not giving him a while to catch a breath. Slash after slash as he backs up in defense.

'He doesn't know what to do in a real fight... Oz, do you really want to get a poor farm boy killed?'

(Y/N): "Don't let the stress overwhelm your thinking Oscar. Search for any-" I was cut off by Oscar trying to smack my left side with his cane to which I simply duck "Openings. Good. I see I don't need to hold back anymore" I smirk as I get both hands on Mortem and soon its blade starts burning. Oscar gets shocked and starts to back off from me, while I step towards him slowly

Oscar: "Oz! Help!"

I use the blunt side of Mortem to hit his wrist, making him drop his weapon. I later extinguish my scythe as I get its blade near his throat

(Y/N): "You can't rely on Ozpin every time. You need to learn how to defend yourself" Oscar looked away with a groan "People we're against will show you no mercy whatsoever. They are as strong or even stronger than me" I lover my scythe and turn it back to it's compact mode to later put it on its place

Oscar: "Got it" I grab his cane and give it back to him

(Y/N): "Oscar, I once told Jaune. Heroes are not born, they're made. Take me for example. My grandma taught me everything I know. And... I also had a friend, we both trained to become the best..."

Oscar: "What happened to him?"

(Y/N): "Her. And... listen, Oscar-" I was cut of by Ruby walking down to us

Ruby: "You two are training, I see?" we turn to her

(Y/N): "Hey Petals. Yeah" Ruby then turns to Oscar

Ruby: "You're really getting better, huh?" And later address us both "Are you two hungry? It's almost dinnertime"

(Y/N): "Sure thing Petal, we will be there shortly"

Oscar: "Uh, yeah. It sounds good. We were about to call it a night anyway"

(Y/N): "Yup" Ruby then starts to question Oscar

Ruby: "So, you've never fought before?"

Oscar: "Just the occasional small Grimm. Nothing like a fight with (Y/N) tho"

(Y/N): "I still was holding back, y'know?"

Oscar: "What? Just how strong can one person be?"

Ruby: "That's my Cookie for you. You look like a natural, Oscar"

(Y/N): "Can you be anymore socially awkward, Ruby?" she turns to me

Ruby: "Hush you. I'm trying to cheer up Oscar" she turns back to Oscar

(Y/N): "But I must say, you've shown some moves only a skilled swordsman do"

Oscar: "It's strange, I've only had this cane for a few weeks, but I feel like I've had it for a lifetime. Longer, even. I sound like a crazy person" I snicker

(Y/N): "Well, a thousand years old guy lives in your head. It's not as crazy when you know the facts"

Ruby: "I mean, uh, yeah, he sounds a little crazy. But don't worry Oscar, at this pace, you'll be combat ready in no time!" I get my head down with a sad frown, as Ruby used Penny's catchphrase

(Y/N): "Petals..." she realizes what she said and gets her head down too with a sad face. Oscar noticed it

Oscar: "Uh"

Ruby: "Well, uh, we'll see you upstairs"

(Y/N): "Don't take too long, Oscar" we went on our way upstairs

Oscar: "How do you two handle all of this?" he asks out of blue, stopping us

(Y/N): "Huh?" Oscar's voice cracks a bit

Oscar: "I'm... scared. I'm more scared than I've ever been in my life, than I ever thought was possible. I always knew that I wanted to be more than a farmhand, but this? Who would ask for this?" he walks to his backpack, kneels down and puts the cane into it. We walks behind him

Ruby: "We all went to Beacon because we wanted to help people. But, you're right. None of us asked for this either. We just have to press on and-"

Oscar: "How can you be so confident?! People have tried to kill you and (Y/N)! The world's about to go to war all over again! How are you okay with any of this?!" I grab him by his shoulder

(Y/N): "Oscar, calm down!" Ruby is a little disturbed by Oscar's rant and looks down in sadness for a moment

Ruby: "When Beacon fell, we lost two of our friends: Penny Polendina and Pyrrha Nikos. I didn't know them for very long like (Y/N) did, but that doesn't change the fact that they were two of the most kind-hearted people I have ever met. But that didn't save them. Pyrrha thought that if there was even the smallest chance of helping someone, then it was a chance worth taking. And because of that, she died fighting a battle she knew she couldn't win. And Penny... was killed... just to make a statement" she walks toward the exit out of the training room to the outside

(Y/N): "Remember that friend I told you I trained with... It was Pyrrha... I knew her for five years. She was one of the most skilled warriors I have ever met, a prodigy if you want to call her that. She... she was my best friend since our first year at Sanctum Academy. Given her skill, she never bragged about it. She was kind, she often offered to help people... she was just everything I expected from a Huntress. Penny... she was my second friend. Both her and me are from Atlas, and her father designed my weapon. Him and my mom had some occasions to work together, and my grandma got her eyes checked in his workshop. She was... just an innocent girl that wanted to stay at Beacon, with us, her friends" I get some tears from my eye "And Salem is responsible for both of their deaths"

Oscar: "I'm... sorry" he looks away with guilt

Ruby: "I am scared, but not just for me. What happened at Beacon shows that Salem doesn't care if you're standing against her or not. She'll kill anybody, and that scares me most of all. Pyrrha... Penny... I'd be lying if I said that it didn't hurt, that I didn't think about them every day since I lost them, that I didn't wish I had spent more time with them. If it had been me instead, I know they would have kept fighting too, no matter how dangerous it was. So that's what I choose to do - to keep moving forward" I walk up next to her and put a hand on her shoulder. She smiles at me and wipes the tears away as we turn back to Oscar "This rose medallion" she shows Oscar her present from me "Was made from Pyrrha's armor piece (Y/N) retrieved during the Fall. I take it as a symbol to keep fighting, because Pyrrha and Penny would do too"

(Y/N): "We're all scared Oscar. You're not alone"

Ruby: "C'mon, if we don't hurry, Nora's gonna eat everything. It wouldn't be the first time" she begins to leave the room as Oscar lingers for a bit. She stops and turns back to him "Hey, Oscar? This isn't gonna be easy, but the fact that you're even trying says a lot about you. You're braver than you think" she then leaves up the stairs as Oscar turns to me

(Y/N): "Heh, she lost so much, yet still tries to stay positive"

Oscar: "What do you mean?"

(Y/N): "Ruby, she lost much in her life, she had to grow up faster than a lot of other kids her age. Despite that, she keeps fighting, because she doesn't want to lose anyone else that she cares about. I do too. I have suffered nearly the same as her, but given I'm older I took it on my chest saying 'It will be better'. My teammates suffered too. But we still fight on, because if we just gave up, then that would mean that everything we've been through, everything we've lost, everything we could still lose... It would have all been for nothing. Ruby is everything to me, and I will go wherever she goes. As long as she still wishes to fight, then so shall I. Her determination is one of the reasons I love her so much" I explained and went upstairs

*3rd POV*

Ozpin: "They really are remarkable, aren't they?" Oscar smiles a bit

Oscar: "Yeah. They must have been two of the best Huntsmen and Huntresses at Beacon, huh?" Ozpin chuckles

Oscar: "In some ways, yes. But in many others... no. Ruby has her quirks, her faults, just like everyone else. But she also possesses something unquantifiable: a spark, that can inspire others even in the darkest of times. As for (Y/N), he may not have exactly been a model student either, but he possesses something many do not: an unmatched resolve to keep fighting. An iron will that convinces others to keep moving forward despite everything they've been through. His father had the same resolve. I feel like I've been truly honored to have met and gotten to know the both of them"

Oscar: "This must be really hard on them too"

Ozpin: "It most assuredly is"

*Ryze POV, Branwen Tribe camp*

We sit in Raven's tent around the table as Vernal pours cups of tea for us. Tribe leader then turns to Vernal

Raven: "You can wait outside. Thank you" Vernal nods and does so

Yang: "So, what's the 'truth'?" Raven sips her tea

Raven: "You know, it's better when it's hot"

Ryze: "Get to the point Raven, we didn't come here for a tea party" I cross my arms

Raven: "The truth is that 'truth' is hard to come by. A story of victory for one person is a story of defeat for someone else. By now, your uncle has surely told Ruby, (Y/N) and their friends plenty of stories"

Yang: "Well, he's never given me a reason to doubt him before"

Sam: "And (Y/N) never let us down. He does what he feels is right"

Raven: "That doesn't mean those reasons don't exist. You know, you and your two teams might as well be the poster children for the Huntsman academies . Your motives vary, but you all enrolled to try and make the world a better place. It's adorable" she smirks

Yang: "It's what Huntsmen and Huntresses do"

Raven: "Not all of them. Some people are just in it for the money and the fame, but there's even more that are just looking to grow stronger. Your Uncle Qrow and I didn't attend Beacon to become Huntsmen, we did it to learn how to kill Huntsmen" Yang and Weiss gasp while me and Sam widen our eyes in surprise "Daddy and Uncle left that part out, hm?" she pours herself more tea "Aside from the Grimm, Huntsmen were the only ones capable of ruining our raids and hunting us down. Our tribe needed a counterforce. And Qrow and I were the perfect age" she stands up "The entrance exams were child's play compared to what we'd already been through. We were good. So good, that we caught the attention of Beacon's very own headmaster, Professor Ozpin. Even after we were put on a team, I could tell he was keeping his eye on us. Back then, I thought it was because he knew, but it was Team STRQ and Team AZRE he was interested in" she turns her back to us

Yang: "What do you mean by that?"

Raven: "Constant attention, extra training missions, turning a blind eye whenever we happened to break the rules and get into more trouble than we should've. Sound familiar?"

Ryze: "Like what happened with us back at Beacon..." Yang and Weiss share a glance. Our Ice Queen the gestures to Yang to continue

Yang: "What's your point?" Raven turns back to us

Raven: "How much do you know about Professor Ozpin? About his past?"

Weiss: "He was... a prodigy. One of the youngest headmasters to be appointed to a school"

Raven: "Because that's how he planned it. Because the man you know as Ozpin designed those schools and has followers inside every academy on Remnant that are loyal to him and no one else"

Sam: "What?"

Yang: "That doesn't make any sense! How could he have...? No. Why would someone even do that?"

Raven: "Because old man Oz has a great and terrible secret. One that could spread fear across the world. One that he eventually entrusted to our team and Albert's team, and once I knew, there was no going back. I needed to know more, but with every new discovery I made, the more horrifying the world became"

Yang: "Okay, then tell us. What's the big secret? What's so crazy that the rest of us don't know?"

Raven: "The Creatures of Grimm... have a master named Salem. She can't be stopped, she can't be reasoned with, and she will not rest until humanity crumbles at her feet" Our eyes widen at the revelation

Weiss: "What?"

Raven: "You know, you guys haven't even touched your tea" Yang stands up

Sam: "That actually makes sense in a way" he gets our attention "Think about it. Have we ever heard about Grimm attacking each other or wild animals? None of those books I read wrote anything about it. That would be possible if someone was telling them to do so, or not to do so. It's like a beehive. The queen bee commands the worker bees, and they follow their queen without question. It does make sense"

Raven: "You're smarter than you look, Samuel. I now see why Albert's son sticks with you"

Yang: "Why should we believe any of this?"

Raven: "Now you're catching on. So far you've done nothing but accept what others tell you, but you need to question everything" Yang and her stare at each other face to face, before Raven turns around "Otherwise you'll end up just as blind as Qrow, Albert... and your fool of a father"

Yang shot her gauntlets, destroying the table. Raven's empty teacup clatters across the floor, stopping when it hits the heel of her boot. Raven looks toward Yang, faintly smiling. Yang's eyes have turned red

Yang: "Don't you dare talk about my family like that!" Weiss stares up at her wide-eyed and flinches when she raises her voice for emphasis. A weapon is heard being drawn at Yang. We look behind to see Vernal with said weapon

Vernal: "You need to calm down" I load my rifle and aim its barrel at her

Ryze: "And you need to put that down, before I put you down" she was about to move, but Sam gets behind her and put his Bakuzan to her throat

Sam: "Now. This is such a heath-warming family reunion, not only for me and Ryze but also for a daughter and mother here. I would rather not disturb it by... a bloodshed" Vernal looks to Raven, who nods and she lover her weapon, making me and Sam to lower ours too. Weiss reaches up to hold Yang's hand, trying to calm her down

Weiss: "Yang, please"

Raven: "Listen to your friend, Yang. Your teammates never let you down before"

Yang: "You don't know the first thing about my teammates! About me! You were never there! You left us!" her eyes return to normal "Why?!" she calmed down and hangs her head

Ryze: "Goldie has a point. At least her teammates and friends are there for her. And what about you? Other than that one time on the train, you've never been there for her, so don't pretend to think you know anything and everything about us"

Raven: "I know more than you realize. Not just about you, and not just what I've been told, but things I've seen with my own eyes. I know the Grimm have a leader, I know people who can come back from the dead, I know that magic is real, and I can prove it" We all stand up to join Yang "You said Tai told you all about my semblance" she heads toward the back exit from the tent "Well, I doubt he ever told you what Oz did to my brother and me" she exits her tent while we exchange confused looks

Vernal: "Go see for yourself" she leaves and we decide to follow Raven. we leave the tent too only to see no one is there

Yang: "Mom?"

Weiss: "Yang, are you okay?"

Yang: "I'll be fine once we can get her to take us to Ruby and (Y/N)" she looks around for Raven

Ryze: "Chill down, Goldie. Don't let her get under your skin"

Yang: "You guys don't believe what she said, right?"

Sam: "With the Grimm having a master, possibly, magic, I think it's possible too, given (Y/N) is said to be a Guardian, but the rest, I don't think so"

Weiss: "Well, I... of course not. Well, not all of it. It was crazy. We have Dust, Semblances... But, I mean, there's no such thing as magic" we then hear a bird caw. We look up to see a raven flying above us

Weiss: "A raven?"

Yang: "I've... seen that bird before"

Ryze: "Something is fishy about this bird..."

Weiss: "Maybe it belongs to your mom?"

We continue to watch the raven fly. It descends, flying and weaving between the trees, before shapeshifting into Raven herself. Raven lands back on the ground on her feet while we gt new shocked expressions on our faces as she stands back up

Yang: "How... did you do that?" Raven smirks

Raven: "Well, I could explain it to you..." she trails off and then draws her sword, slashing behind her, and creating a portal "... or you could ask your uncle"

Yang: "You're letting us go?"

Raven: "I'm giving you a choice "she sheathes her sword "Stay here, with me, and I'll answer all your questions and more. We can have a fresh start. Or... you can go back to Qrow and join Ozpin's impossible war against Salem, and meet the same fate as so many others. But can you really go back to trusting someone that's kept so much from you?" Weiss gets a little timid while us three just glare at Raven. Yang most intensively

Yang: "All I care about is making sure my sister is safe"

Raven: "Ugh..."

Yang gets with Weiss on Bumblebee while I and Sam walk behind them as they ride towards the portal, until Raven stops Yang

Raven: "Yang. If you side with your uncle, I may not be as kind the next time we meet" Weiss just rolls her eyes and looks ahead while Yang glares at Raven one more time

Yang: "You weren't kind this time either" she and Weiss then proceed through the portal on Bumblebee as we walk behind them

Raven: "I know..."

*(Y/N) POV*

We are preparing a dinner for our eventual guests. Ruby and Ren at the stove. Nora cutting up some vegetables (and eating them despite I told her not to) I'm doing some side dishes and Jaune sets up the table while Mako and Alice prepare the drinks and Oscar is still to return from his solo training

Ren: "Alright, the first batch is just about done"

Ruby: "Awesome! Now we just need Qrow and we'll be all set" Nora eats a carrot

Nora: "Do you really think Qrow's gonna bring that many people? This is a lot of food"

(Y/N): "Nora, I told you to stop eating all the food!"

Ruby: "Well, to answer Nora's question, I don't know, but it sounds like we could use all the help we can get" we hear door opens and close, to leater hear Qrow

Qrow: "I'm back!"

Ruby: "Be right there!" I look over Ruby's shoulder to see she is gonna burn the dish

(Y/N): "Petals, you're not cooking it right. You're gonna burn it"

Ruby: "No I'm not, shut up!"

Qrow: "Hey, uh, Ruby? (Y/N)?"

Ruby: "I'm coming!" some smoke comes out of her pot "Ugh, fine, you take over, (Y/N)" I take her place

(Y/N): "Thank Oum. I'm not in the mood for charcoal" Ren chuckle

Qrow: "You too matchstick"

(Y/N): "Ugh! Okay! Ren, can you?" he nods and I grab another tea tray, following Ruby out. She looks at the tray, while I stand with a satisfied smile on my face at the sight of the newcomers

Ruby: "So, we didn't know how many people were coming, so we just cooked all of it"

She looks up from the tray, gasps and drops the tray, breaking everything on it. Before us stand Qrow, but also Ryze, Sam, Weiss and Yang who slowly approach Ruby who's voice starts to crack

Ruby: "Yang, I... I'm so sorry! I- I should've stayed, and I should've talked to you more! I'd- I just... I wasn't sure if you wanted me around and-" tears begins to form in her eyes. Yang: "I love you" Ruby sobs as she leans into her sister's hug

Ruby: "I love you, too" she hugs back. The rest of us came out of the kitchen, and smile at the sight of sisters reunion

Mako: "Well, mission accomplished, chief"

(Y/N): "Yup. Another success for Team CRMS" Weiss smiles as she wipes a tear from her eye, before she starts frowning and looks away

Ruby: "Weiss"

She gets Weiss' attention. Weiss looks up only to see sisters opening their arms up for her. She smiles and eagerly joins them in their hug. We smile, until Ruby calls me and my team too

We walk next to girls as I and Mako face Ryze and Sam. Then Ryze salutes

Ryze: "Major (L/N)" I snicker and salute back "Mission was successful. Girls has been escorted safely to the destination"

(Y/N): "At ease soldiers, now" We get into a massive bro hug "It's to see you two make it, brothers"

We all sat at the table and started eating. With all the buzz we small talk

Everyone relocates to the second-floor living room, with Weiss, Yang, Sam and Ryze having finished being filled in on what everyone else knows so far.

Weiss: "So, the Maidens, the Guardians, Magic, Salem. It's all true?"

Qrow: "Yeah"

Ozpin: "Everyone has a choice. The Branwens chose to accept their powers and the responsibilities that came with them. There's no shame or disgrace in abstaining, only in retreat" We stay silent "Very well, then" Yang and Ryze stands up

However, it's been far too long since you have all been together" he puts his hand on Yang's shoulder "Please, take tonight, enjoy this moment" Yang smiles as Oscar eyes glow, returning him behind the wheel of his body. He realizes he has his hand on Yang's shoulder

Oscar: "Geh!" he quickly takes his hand off while Yang and Weiss laugh at him and Ryze growls

Ryze: "Oi! Kid! Are you hitting on my girlfriend?!" Oscar growls

Oscar: "Not again..."

Nora: "Oooohhh. Raven? Qrow? They're birds! Cracked it!" Ren shakes his head

(Y/N): "Okay! As you are all new, we need to give you rooms. Yang, Ryze, you two have a room on the bottom floor. Weiss, Sam, you two have a room on this floor, first door on the right from here" They nod "Team CRMS, team meeting in five minutes. We have to discuss some things for now" My team nods "Ryze"

Ryze: "Besides, she still have time. I'm sure you will have something to grab into the future, he?" We laugh again

Mako: "Agreed. So, Sam, have you taken Weiss on a date?"

Sam: "Nope" we look at him like he is an idiot

Ryze: "And we're out of beers. So, I think it's time to end the first Team CRMS meeting in a year"

(Y/N): "Agreed, goodnight guys"

*RMS: "Night!" I went on my way downstairs to my and Ruby's room. After entering I take my cloak off and change into my pajamas to later lie on our bed

Ruby: "Took you guys long enough" she turns around to face me "This bed is cold without you in it, Cookie"

(Y/N): "Sorry, it took us awhile. You know, guys' talk"

Ruby: "Yeah. Me, Yang and Weiss also got a girl's talk. *yawn* Goodnight Cookie, I love you"

(Y/N): "I love you too, Petals. Goodnight" we snuggle to each other as close as possible and drift to sleep

A/N Okay, it took me kinda longer than I expected, but it's there. Yang, Weiss, Ryze and Sam reunite with the rest of the pack and Team CRMS is back together. Yay! I think tomorrow we will cover the first part of the Battle for Haven. See you soon
