May Author's Challenge! A huge thanks to everyone who participated in our last contest; we got a good load of entries for our first run! Let's keep this up!

So, this month's challenge is: to write some angst. Beautiful, Majestic, angst. And please, I might ask, if you do add the story into a book you had before, name the chapter "May Angst Challenge!"

Some examples for said angst are either Ladybug or Chat Noir being injured, a classmate is in peril, or a terrible Akuma almost has their way.

Word Count: Minimum amount of words necessary for your entry is 1000. Maximum amount of words is 3000. We will need you to provide how many words are in your entry at the end of your submission.

As you write your entry, keep these in mind:

- Good grammar; a lack of this will lead you to few readers and all good writers strive to achieve good grammar.

- Make sure that your plot isn't similar to another entry's; original story line. If there are two that are quite close in comparison, we would have to do a check with the two and frankly, that's a lot of work on everyone's part.

- Appropriate content. Since there are quite a swell of young people in the ML fandom, it is always best to keep a caution. If you want to know a borderline of how "appropriate" your entry can be, feel free to P.M. this account.

How to submit your entry: leave a comment! We'd like to know how many of your are willing to join this contest.

If you are making it a complete separate book, then add the hashtag #MLFanFicRec and/or #MayAngstChallenge to your submission so it's easier for us to find. It would be even better if you left a link to your post in a comment (that would really help us out).

If you decide to add it to a collection of contest entries, continue to add the hashtag(s) to your book but you will also need to comment on this panel what the title is called (or else we'll just be aimlessly wandering around your book and then we'll get bored and your entry won't be accepted) and the link (of the chapter). Also, as stated before, name the title of that chapter "May Angst Challenge".

Deadlines and Judges: We will be giving you a little over two weeks for write a submission. The deadline is June 27th (yes even though it's called the May Angst Challenge), and the first week of July will be given to our judges to read through the entries and analyze the winners. This month's judges will be neverlanded and SinTxstic, our admins! We look forward to reading your entry!

Prizes: For first place, we will be offering a read/critique on one of your stories. You will be given a sticker to put on your entry cover, and your entry will also be added to our reading list for First Place winners.

For second place, we will be offering a maximum of seven votes on any one of your works (your decision) and a personal shout out on this account. Your entry will also be added to our reading list for Second Place winners.

For third place, we will be offering a three vote on any one of your works (your decision) and a personal shout out on this account. Your entry will also be added to our reading list for Third Place winners.
