We are back again! Welcome to the 10th installment of the contests, this time, with a little twist, because who doesn't love to put contestants through a painstakingly hard contest prompt?

...Ahem. We mean, who doesn't like a good challenge?

The prompt for this contest will be quite unconventional. It will not have to do with a cover following a certain theme, title or mood. We have a situation, and your graphic will completely depend upon your interpretation of the prompt.

NUMBER ONE:
"After years of abuse from her Clown Prince of Crime, Harley Quinn finally ends her relationship with The Joker. And in an attempt to avoid running back to him, Harley joins an elite task force heroes to end him for good. This final mission with the Joker will bring Gotham, and her heart, to its knees. Can she be a hero or will she fall for her Puddin all over again?"

NUMBER TWO:
"Venom has to infect people to serve him as his host. This usually goes well, giving him complete control. Until one day Laura Martin, a 13 year old girl, is unfortunate enough to touch the curious symbiote and have him take over. Venom invades her mind to find extreme pain and suffering and in mercy he gives control to her, granting this good hearted girl with his abilities."

NUMBER THREE:
"Hela, Goddess of Death, Odin's Daughter, and Asgard's Executioner, has been locked away for hundreds of years. When she returns from her prison, it has been foretold that she will bring destruction and chaos, and with Odin's final breath seconds away, she gathers her power to return. Yet when she finds herself in the place her father died, Hela meets her brothers, two Gods, one of mischief and trickery, the other of thunder and lightning. What would happen if she joined forces with them, so that they could, instead of leaving destruction in their wake, bring peace to the Nine Realms? What if she could be their guardian?"

You heard that right. You have always known these characters to be well-known villains who wouldn't have made the story what it was without themselves. What would happen if they are stripped raw of their whole personalities? What if all of the traits that made them the villains were all gone?

That, now, is where all of you come in.

You must create a photo-manipulation depicting a villain who has joined forces with the heroes. What happens to them, where do they stand, what changes, and what remains the same? It all depends on you. You are going to create a revolutionary character out of an existing phenomenal villain.

Their destiny is in your hands.

But before you determine the fate of these fallen heroes, here are some rules!

• To let us know you're participating, tag three people in the comments along with a statement to show that you're in.

• You're only allowed one entry, because as much as we'd like to, we're not equipped to deal with 10,000 entries - sorry!

• You can re-submit your entry if you feel like the previous one was not satisfactory. Only within the allotted time, though! No resubmissions will be accepted after the deadline.

• You must post the link to your entry in the comment section along with the link to the original stock you used. You can upload your entry on any image sharing community that you prefer, i.e. Imgur and DeviantArt.

• When you submit your entry, you also must include a short piece of text mentioning how long it took you to make this graphic and the creative process behind it. A short 2-3 lines is enough for explaining the process, all you need to do is tell us how you created the graphic and what you had in mind. This will help us judge your executions better, since we know what you are doing from scratch.

• Your entry must be submitted on or before August 15, 2018 - 12 PM ET. Any entries submitted after the given date will not be accepted.
