"You would think that someone with the title of 'The President' would be more qualified to deal with twenty billion zombies roaming the earth. He had no back up plan so guess what the world did, collapsed.  Now over 75% of the Earth has been swallowed whole by the zombie population," a girl with the name tag 'Becca', the same girl who had stabbed me just 24 hours earlier, preached to me when I swallowed the water she handed me.

-------- 24 HOURS EARLIER --------

"Mom, I need you to pick up me now. The people are saying that everyone needs to leave, that the end is here," I breathed rapdily into the phone I just received two weeks ago. 

I ran out of the mall doors and saw my biggest fear. People were screaming and running around aimlessly with fear. 

I walked back into the huge mall and ran into the nearest bathroom. It was so quiet here that I could hear my rapid breaths and one of the stall doors creak open. 

"Hello?" My heart picked up pace as if it's even possible. 

A girl with a blue shirt and a cute pixie cut came around the corner holding a knife. 

"What's going on?" I asked right before she took the knife and stuck it in my stomach. I watched her nametag move as my eyes shut. 

Guess what you guys... you're going to take that piece and finish it as a short story.

Description:

You are gonna take that and finish it, starting with present time, not from the flashback. You will write a short story. The characters have to remain the same, especially names so its easier to understand. Your 3,500 words does not include our piece and you do not have to attach it to yours unless it makes it easier for you. Then of course you can PM us for it because you can't copy and paste. I know it would make things easier for me (Casey) if I going to enter this.

•Word limit - up to 3,500.

•Use your grammar skills to your best abilities.

•Follow all rules in chapter of: Rules and Rewards.

You can send it to us by PM (this is a very irritating way of reading entries that are very long... hint hint) or you can create a book (we strongly recommend) and write it within a new chapter belonging to itself.

If you create a book to itself, or you may have a book already made and it may comply to the prompt, make sure to dedicate them to us or to tag us in it.

We are only accepting the first 20 entries.

The due date right now is June 9, 2016 should be turned in by 10:00 PM US Eastern Time. This could change but if it does we will send out a message and update this contest.
