To begin at the beginning, their camp is quite close to the sea.

In fact, if you trot over the crest of the broad, and sand- dusted hill that they tunnel in, you will only have to walk 2-3 foxlengths before your paws hit the water.

This may seem to be a problem in case stormy weather appears, but, for some strange reason, the water never makes it over the hill, so the clan always remains safe.

Now onto their hunting grounds.

Heatherclan's hunting grounds are farther away from the ocean, but not very.

The hunting grounds consist of a seemingly endless field of the same green heather-grass as the rest of the shore, which is how their name was established.

Heatherclan primarily will hunt the field mice, shrew, and hares that live in the field, but a choice few have been known to bring in fish after storms.

Lastly, the clan is on the smaller side, yet they are beginning to grow as queens begin to bring new kits into the world.
