At the age on 18 prince had grown up to be a very handsome young man.
With the amulet safely strapped around his neck as a necklace he was able to grow up as a normal child.
Everyone in the kingdom knew of the curse upon their prince and it was no secret.
That he carried all of the evil from all werewolves but the amulet kept him balanced.
He could never experience true joy as much as he could not be consumed by pure anger.
The curse and amulet just made him feel something between both.
He would watch other people laugh and enjoy themselves and no matter what he did he couldn't feel the same.
He also knew of the curse but accepted it. He was suffering for the sins of his father and they was no way he could escape them.

But then one day he felt a new feeling consume him. He was walking in the forest to clear his mind.
He did it to get away from the feelings he would never be able to feel like others. That's when he stumbled upon a young woman.
At first he caught her sweet scent before she ran right into him running at full speed. He opened his eyes and was immediately trapped by her beautiful sapphire eyes.
Before they could speak he heard the loud roar of a tiger.

He sprung into action as he put her behind him and faced the tiger.
With fangs and claws out he growled a mighty growl that send the tiger running with its tail between its legs.
He turned back to the girl who looked at him in fear.
"Are you alright?" He asked with a fangless smile.
"You...you're a werewolf" she said.
"Yes and I won't hurt you" he said. He knew she was human the minute he caught her scent.
"Its true. You're real" she said still keeping her distance.
"Yes I am. My name is Chanyeol. What's your name?" He asked.
"Baek...Baekkie" she said.
"Its nice to meet you Baekkie. Are you lost?" He asked.
"Ye...yes. I was on my way home when I got chased by that tiger. Where am I?" She asked.
"Very far from the nearest town and deep in the woods. I can take you there tomorrow. Its almost sunset and so its too late to travel now" he said as he stretched out his hand towards her.

She hesitated but soon she took his hand and he led her to the palace.
She was shocked to find out he was actually the prince of werewolves.
They were actually a lot of very scary stories about the creatures but so far they all seemed so nice to her.
His father and mother were not very happy to see a human and didn't trust her. In the past humans had only desired their riches but Chanyeol convinced them she was harmless and he had saved her.

If only they had known that their son was going through the stages of first love. He instantly fell in love with the woman. Baekkie seemed to feel the same way and stayed a few more days before returning home.
Chanyeol taught her all about his kind and the fortunes they carried.
He asked her to stay with he m and she agreed.

The prince slept with so much joy in his heart he had never felt before that night. But little did he know that the next morning would only bring him sorrow.
His father barged into his room shouting which confused the prince.
Apparently Baekkie had stolen from them during night of most of their jewels and gold.
The humans must have planned it because she couldn't have carried it all on her own untraced.
They must have used something to hide their scent because Baekkie couldn't be traced or followed.

Chanyeol was heartbroken but when he faced his mother she screamed before bursting into tears.
He couldn't understand what was happening as everyone gave him strange looks.
He was suddenly filled with so much rage and snapped at them and that's when he realised something was wrong. It was the first time he felt pure anger.

He looked into the mirror and his eyes were pure red. He placed his hand on his neck and that's when he realised the necklace was gone. From that day onwards the prince was never the same again.

And that's chapter two.
Will Chanyeol ever be able to live a normal life?
