1. THE BEGINNING
In this life, we have to make many choices. Some are very important choices. Some are not. Many of our choices are between good and evil. The choices we make, however, determine to a large extent our happiness or our unhappiness, because we have to live with the consequences of our choices.
-James E. Faust

Every story has a beginning.
No matter how terrible or wonderful there is always a place it all started.
The werewolf King was not always as kind and as wise as he was at the time.
At first he was the most feared King of all time. The worst of the worst.
The man had no mercy or love for his people. All he cared about was power and no one could atop his reign of terror.Anyone who tried always ended up dead.
The unlucky ones were turned into slaves who endured the worst torture every single day. No one was safe from him especially his people. All other species of supernaturals would stay away from his kingdom.
It was very unfortunate that one one winter night two women stumbled upon his kingdom that everyone feared to tread upon. They were witches. One was a dark witch and one a light witch. They were also twins and always stayed together. Unfortunately their clan had been attacked by vampires.
Witch blood was considered a very delicious treat and vampires would capture and enslave them as a blood source.
The two sisters Sumni and Sumna were lucky to escape but their family and friends didn't have the same fortune. Sumni was badly injured and Sumna was desperate to get her help and save her. People assumed that dark witches were evil but that wasn't always the case. It was just that their power could destroy while the light witches power built.
With her black hair and dark shadowed eyes most people were afraid of Sumna, but she only used her powers when necessary.
Arriving at the first house in sight she quickly knocked on the door and an old woman opened it to a great shock.
"Please...please help my sister. She's dying" Sumna begged.
The woman could smell that they were witches but didn't care. She jumped into action and worked on saving the white haired twin who was slowly losing the life in her eyes. Sumna didn't know this but she had stumbled upon the house of one of the pack healers. Healers had the ability to heal any form of injury or disease and so Sumni was in very good hands.
By morning the color had returned into her skin and soon she was able to stand on her two feet. The old woman warned them about the king and that they would be in danger if he found them. But just when they thought all will be well the house was surrounded by pack warriors trapping them in.
The werewolf King spotted the twins and immediately wanted to take them as prisoners and make them his personal witches but they refused.
They read the desires of his heart and all they saw was evil intentions.
They fought back but in the end Sumna was laying on the ground bleeding to death from deep claw marks given to her by the king himself.
As Sumni cried for her sister and Sumna's last words were the chanting of a curse. That the King would birth pure evil. That he would be made pure but his offspring should carry all anger, hatred all the evil of the pack.
A bright line shined upon the land as all bad emotions left all pack members at once including the King. No one felt anger, hatred or any bad emotions ever again.
The moment Sumna died a loud scream came from the castle and the King rushed to the distress call of his mate.He arrived to see all the midwives surrounding her as she experienced early labor. That night the prince was born. But as soon as he opened his eyes they were not Blue like his mothers or green like his fathers, but blood red like the witches blood he had shed. At that moment the king knew he had made a terrible mistake and was filled with regret as he was filled with fear as his son glared at him.
Everyone was filled with fear as they looked into the eyes of a child filled with pure evil.
His mate cried non stop as soon as she found out their son had been cursed.
Filled with only nothing but goodness in his heart he could nor feel anger but only regret.
He begged Sumni to save his son but she told him that a curse can only be broken by the witch who cast it and Sumna was dead.
Only when the Queen cried at her feet did Sumni do something. She was a light witch and couldn't bear to see them suffer even if they has killed her sister. Especially when she saw the child.
While the rest feared him she fell in love with the baby.
No one would touch him as he cried his lungs out. Even of they tried he was violent and his skin would burn their fingers.
She easily picked him up and rocked him back and forth until he was quiet and eventually fell asleep.
She couldn't break the curse but she could use her powers to stabilize him.
After putting him in his crib she created an amulet.
As long as the amulet stayed with him he would always have a good balance of good and evil within him.
When he opened his eyes the next morning one was red while the other was blue. The king and queen thanked the witch.
She immediately left and never returned to the kingdom that took away the only family she had.
But before she left she visited the baby one last time.
"Good luck little one. Don't worry I will always watch you from a distance. Things are going to get really bad in the future but remember to stay true to your heart and it will always lead you in the right direction. No matter what happens embrace who you are and don't allow the evil to consume you. Control it and you will become the greatest leader of all time. Be patient. All good things happen in good time and when you find your mate love him completely and don't fight the bond because he is going to be a hard nut to crack just like you. Goodbye my prince. We will meet again someday" she said before kissing him on the head and she left never to be seen again.
