Baekhyun's POV

So here are the facts.

1. That stupid story about a vampire and shifter princ is true.

2. Chanyeol is that shifter prince from the story.

3. My grandfather hates his guts and demanded I kick Chanyeol out immediately.

It took one day for my life to turn upside down. No one would understand but Chanyeol wasn't just a bodyguard to me. He was more than that but all this drama had to happen.

My heart still hurt when I thought of the look on his face when I told him to get out.

Knowing Chanyeol was still around my grandfather left the next morning not wanting to be near the shifter prince.

I couldn't sleep all night and as soon as grandfather left I went out to search for Chanyeol. 

Everyone told me to listen to Chanyeol's side of the story before I made a decision whether he should stay or leave permanently. 

I followed his scent and found him resting in his tiger form miles away from the house or any form of civilization.

I sat next to him and all he did was turn his head to look at me before looking sadly away.

"Chanyeol. Can we talk?" I broke the silence but he didn't respond or even move.

"Chanyeol please. I need to hear your side of the story" I said but still got no answer.

After 10 minutes I decided to get up and leave but that's when he shifted and held my hand.

"Don't go. I will talk" he said and I sat right next to him.

He took a deep breath before sharing his whole story from the beginning. From how he grew up until his family gave him away to the vampires to Taehyung's death.

I know I wanted to hear his story but somehow learning that he once loved another broke my heart. He seemed to share a special relationship with Taehyung and even if the vampire was dead I was somehow jealous of what they had.

"I'm sorry for kicking yah out of the house. Now I know it wasn't your fault" O said but he didn't respond.

"I see now that your heart belongs to another" I said the words breaking me even more. I was about to walk away when he pulled me onto his lap.

"Don't say that. I might have learnt to love Taehyung but my heart only belongs to you. My true mate" Chanyeol said before he kissed me.

"What do you mean?" I asked in shock.

"You are my true mate and we are destined to be together no matter what that old man says I'm not leaving you" Chanyeol said and I have never been happier.

"That's all I needed to hear" I said before we kissed again.

Our kissing became more intense and I was glad he was shirtless. It allowed me to feel every inch of his upper body.

I was too tired to moved but he held me tight and soon we lay on the forest floor. He pulled me closer as I fell into a deep slumber with a smile on my lips and peace in my heart.
