Courage The Cowardly Dog

Everyone remembers this show, right? Well, if not, here's a brief description. 

Courage was a dog who's owners were Eustace and Muriel (I believe). They supposedly live in "The middle of nowhere" on a farm. Despite being on a farm, they receive a lot of unwanted attention.

Courage always protects his owners from these "creatures" that appear to harm them. But, his owners never notice them or even pay attention to them. 

And this is where the theory begins. 

According to the theory, these horrific creatures are actually just humans seen from Courage's point of view. Courage really lives on a normal farm in a normal town, but, since his owners are too old  to walk him, he believes he lives in the middle of nowhere because he doesn't really know what's outside.

This explains why the owners are never aware of the crucial danger they are apparently always in. In reality, they're just watching their dog run around, being afraid of his own shadow. 

This honestly explains so much. I always wondered what the fuck that show was about because I used to watch it, but had to stop because it gave me nightmares. It did...some scary shit.
