our third riverdale theory is definitely an interesting one. this fan theory states that maybe jason wasn't the intended target.

so, as we all know, ms. grundy was supposedly in an abusive relationship before she moved to riverdale, and that's why she stole geraldine grundy's identity. some people seem to believe that maybe her ex tracked her down and killed jason, thinking the blossom boy was archie, because they're both redheaded teenage boys. and let's be real, her ex could've easily mistaken jason for archie.
