CHAPTER 36 -THE END-

{Not Edited Yet}

A few days with Manohar was possibly the best thing happened to Anuradha in the past week after the depressing event. Kamlesh had gone back to his home leaving them two in the house.

As much as Manohar wanted to know what Anuradha feels for him, he was also afraid if anything opposite happens. Though none of Anuradha's behaviour seems to be opposite, Manohar sometimes gets sceptic about the whole thing whenever he remembers about Christopher.

Being friendzoned.

Manohar have been working on his passion again after Anuradha came back in his life. He got himself busy working on his passion to start a career in music going around London while Anuradha was busy working on fixing the blunder her mother and brother did secretively.

Anuradha's secretary had informed about Manohar waiting for her at the lobby, today. Hurriedly, she finished her work for the day before she goes to meet him as Manohar had earlier mentioned he wanted to bring her somewhere.

"Sorry, kept you waiting" Anuradha grinned as she knew she had him waiting for almost two hours because of her sudden meeting with the technical team.

"Nope, wasn't long at all" he gave a sardonic reply and extended his hand.

"Sorry again" she took out her car keys and handed to him as they walked out of the building.

Keeping the location a secret, Manohar took the exit heading to the highway. Anuradha did not bother to ask him to where is he bringing her as her safety was his responsibility, she kept watching the the sharp red lights behind every vehicle. It's been a very long time since she enjoyed a long ride, Anuradha turned to her right.

"Everything seems perfect with him around. I'm even loving the silence I once used to hate, just because he is around" her heart kept beating fast yet she couldn't take her eyes from him.

"I'm in love. In love with him. With Manohar."

He never left her mind even once, he was always there - mentally in those three years. The nine months being with Manohar had been an extremely different feel compared to the times when they were during college. In these times, he had not only been there for just for the sake of being with her but he had been her strength, in her world that was filled with chaos, he became her stability.

Anuradha is in love with him.

The weird feeling, it stretches throughout her being now she knew what was it all about. It's overwhelming, yet it made her feel complete. He makes her feel so light, so carefree, so not bothered about the world around. Just him and her.

Manohar noticed her intense stare from the corner of his eye, clearing his throat, "Want to say something?" he asked.

"Uhmm... yeah"

Both stood under the darkest sky in Europe, as the winter season kicks in thereby they were under the Northern Lights at the right time. Manohar had drove six hours from London to Scotland for Anuradha to see the beautiful lights shimmering in the sky.

"I never knew Scotland had such place" Anuradha said keeping her gaze fixed to sky while rubbing her arms to keep herself warm.

"They don't appear frequently but certainly we can see them during winter, early spring and late autumn" Manohar replied.

"excuse-moi monsieur, mon photo, s'il vous plais?" (excuse me sir, can you take a picture of us, please) a French lady came to Manohar pointing towards the sky and her camera to him.

"Sûr" (sure) Manohar replied and took the camera from her as she and her friend posed for a couple of pictures. Anuradha watched, completely astonished to see Manohar speaks French fluently to the ladies as they were posing.

"You know French?"

"Ouais, (yes) I learnt it during school under the additional language module" he lean on the car and crossed his arms across his chest gazing the sky.

"hmmm... What other languages do you know?"

"That is the only language I know apart from my mother tongue and English. What about you? I heard you are quite fast in learning languages" he avert his gaze to her.

She walked back towards the car, "Yeah. Spanish, French, Italian, Chinese,..."

"Chinese?" she nodded. "That's fantastic. Teach me a few words in Chinese"

"Okay, repeat after me" she said after thinking a while.

"Wo... ai... ni..."

"Wo..... ai..... ni...."

She nodded and repeated but this time a little intense. The darkest sky had it's beautiful lights glowing, their eyes sparkled in that glow as they dive into each other's gaze with the same amount of intense as Anuradha's Wo ai ni.

"I want to tell you something" she started and said "Wo ai ni" again.

Anuradha took a step closer, eliminating the gap between them, she slowly wrapped her arm around him into tight embrace. Manohar wasn't surprised at all with her action, he knew by her strong gaze that Anuradha had conveyed what he wanted to know.

Manohar locked her in his arms.

Now and forever.

Staying in each others warmth, finally Manohar spoke. "What does wo ai ni mean?"

"I love you" she said tightening her hold on him.

It was like a burst of fire crackers in him, though he somewhat knew what she felt, hearing it from her had it's own magic.

Magic. Anuradha's magic had its uniqueness that always comes with music by her in him.

"I love you too" he said and kissed her crown.

Never a day went gloomy after their confession it was only happiness and love filled in their life. Eight months later, Manohar called Anuradha out and that he wanted to show her something. Anuradha was blindfolded before they left to their secret destination.

"Here we are" Manohar untied the blindfold.

Blinking a couple of times to clear her vision, Anuradha couldn't help but to cry, the building in front of her wasn't just a building but a building that had her dreams trapped, unfulfilled. Her house that she grew up in, her house that had memories of her and Madhulekha together, the house that she dreamt of having a happy family.

Anuradha turned to Manohar who looked absolutely normal with his hands in his pant pocket, as though he knew nothing about the house and her connection to it. He slowly smiled wiggled his eyebrows.

"Welcome to our home" he stretched his hands showcasing the new property he bought months ago. Her house is now their home.

Home.

Anuradha ran and enveloped him in a tight hug, Manohar reciprocate it.

Manohar lead her into the house, showcasing one of the work he have been silently working on. Renovating the house, changing the interior completely making sure nothing in the house would remind her of those bitter memories.

Now she knew why he had been asking about types of interior, furniture and colours she likes. He had been planning this for months.

As they toured the house, Anuradha's happy face turned frowning at the sight of something huge on the wall that she thought was thrown away.

"Why is this still here?" she asked.

"Because it has the little Anuradha who had dreams, dreams that is yet to be fulfilled. She is there with her family to remind this grown up Anuradha to fulfil her dreams just as how she had dreamt off. Naive and pure" wrapping his arm around her shoulders, he wipe the single tears slowly seeping down from the corner of her eye.

"We will build our happy family just like you dreamt of. Ours" he said hugging her from behind.

"I couldn't ask for more. Thank you"

"And I love you"

"Oh, I'm such a cry baby" she laughed.

"That you are" he replied, receiving a smack on his head.

"Ouch..."

"The house looks entirely different. Who helped you?" Anuradha walked around the first floor.

"What? I don't need any help to beautify my house" he held his head high up and walked pass her to the next room.

Anuradha threw a pillow to him.

"Radha! Won't you spare me at least, " he whined picking up the pillow from the floor and throwing it back to her.

"Be grateful that it was a pillow and not something hard" Anuradha caught the pillow and her eyes fell on the only room that was locked. "Why is it locked?"

Too curious, Anuradha opened the door. Staring at the room filled with helium red balloon and beautifully decorated room with rose petals, those browns eyes started welling again.

"Are planning to make me cry the whole day?" she sniffled.

"Just today" he grinned.

Manohar had popped the ultimate question to bring their relationship further two months back in their future home. More than Anuradha and Manohar, Roopa was extremely excited to know about it, she even hosting a party for Anuradha to announce the latter as her future daughter-in-law.

Roopa took no heeds to Anuradha who kept insisting the former not to hold any party.

Digvijay is slowly recovering from his minimal conscious state. Since he isn't in the state to take part in any preparation, Roopa have been handling everything with the help of her sons and Anuradha, her daughter. Roopa and Kamlesh collectively made a decision of hosting Anuradha and Manohar's wedding a few months after Uday's wedding.

Thirty minutes since the party started and the hall seemed full already, Manohar wondered if Roopa had invited everyone she knew to Scotland. Walking into the crowd, Manohar spotted Anuradha in a beautiful red dress standing next to Roopa.

"Excuse us for a moment" Manohar interrupted Roopa who were busy introducing Anuradha to every guest.

"I need to talk to you" Manohar whispered to Anuradha and pulled her away from the party.

"What is it?" she whispered.

"You look so alluring, so captivating" he said in raspy voice as soon as they found a place away from the party. She hit him lightly on his arms, he rubbed as if it hurt him a lot.

"You pulled me here to say this?" she hissed.

"You look more enchanting when you are angry" he smirked.

"I see.....a Manohar I have not seen before. So flirty" she simpered. "You look no less in all black suit" Anuradha adjusted his red tie that complemented her red dress. "Anyway, thank you. If you are done, I'm going"

"Hey, wait. I need to tell you something really important" he grabbed her hand.

"I'm all ears"

"I have decided to leave the Panthers Watch Company" he said slowly, anxious as he waited for Anuradha to be mad at him.

"Why?" she simply asked without any sign of disagreement.

"I want to pursue my career in music and I can't do it if I have to take care of the business too. I have spoke to Bhai and he is fine with it even though he didn't like the idea of me leaving. Amma, had said she is fine if you are" he said tilting his head to study her face.

Taking his hand in hers, looking at their intertwined hand with her engagement ring sparkling under the lights, "Manohar, your dreams are my responsibility just as mine is yours. I will always be there to support you, by your side. Go ahead." she looked up and gave an assuring smile.

Softly placing his hands on her cheeks, he kissed her forehead, "I can't ask for more. Thank you... I love you"

"I love you too..."

His eyes are like the precious stones, Each glance had it's uniqueness.

Her eyes are like the wind chain, Each glance had it's music.

His touch is like a burning coal, yet gives her pleasure to feel it more.

Her touch is like soothing notes, always rings in him beautiful notes.

Being with him is like a princess story,

For her, he was her knight in shinning armour.

Being with her is like an unending orchestra,

For she was his Radha...

For he was her Manohar...

For them, they were Radha-Manohar.
