MICHAEL 'S POV

Maria is 4 months along now. Liam tells me that this is the boy which means I will have my second in command. I guess that also means out there somewhere is the wolf that Mary had. I wonder if she'll have the same gifts that my precious sister had.

Maria doesn't realize that I've been at every one of her doctors appointments. I've been there but she hasn't seen me. Of course, since her doctor is part of the royal family the office is the most modern and I'm behind a one way mirror. It actually looks like a regular mirror and not like a one way mirror. She has no idea I'm here and truthfully that's for the best. The funny thing is her doctor doesn't even know I'm here either.

You see Wolf Enterprises also owns a construction company. It only makes sense. I mean, after all wolves are very strong I ed to use all the excess energy. For those wolves that don't want to further their education and go into something that deals with computers, software, electronics, design, publishing or one of our other more professional jobs, this gives them a job that they can do and burn off energy. Even a lot of those that you have professional job take a stance and work the construction just to keep in shape. We have found that is another way of training and learning to work together.

Therefore, when it was time to build the docs new office the contract went to me. Sense the doctor deals with humans as well as wolves there is one room in the clinic designed just for she-wolves. In designing the building, I made a back entrance. This entrance leads to all of the electrical work from and in a closet I have a hidden surveillance room that backs up to this exam room. I did this so I could be present for all of Maria's appointments. I also have a tap in their computer system so that all things concerning Maria and her children are reported to me immediately. You might think this is going overboard but it's the only way I can keep myself in check if I can't be with her physically then at least I can know everything that's going on.

I'm not sure if Maria realizes that her children's wolves are my children as well. I know she knows that I'm very close to her children. Actually at this point I'm closer to her children than I am her. I really have to limit my time seeing her because if I don't I'll take her. I've already done all the damage I intend to as far as hurting heart is concerned. Yes, it breaks my heart to know that I can't be with her now and even more so learning what I learned when my son was conceived.

Yes her son is my son. His human body might not be created from me but he is mine because he is hers. He was always meant to be mine just like the rest of her children. Me and my own stupidity has brought us to this point.

This is the hardest relationship I think the world has ever seen well at least the werewolf world. In our world when I male wolf find his mate he the marks are on the spot most of the time but she's usually mark at least within a week or 2 even in the most extreme cases. I honestly think, that if my wolf with any other we would have lost it and marked her and taking her from her husband already. The difference is my wolf is the one that once a judgment is handed down he is responsible for seeing it carried out and because of that he knows that God would not approve of that action. My wolf is one of the strongest ever created and that is the reason he is able to control himself and me. I have recently found that my wolf doesn't have a problem holding me in check. At first when we first found Maria it was my wolf that held my human self in check. Recently I have found now that Liam is more less out he has more control then I do. I guess before I found Maria I had a nameless wolf but now that we know our mate I realize that that he is a part of me yet he is much more than me. At first I thought he blamed me for us not finding her until it was too late but now I know that's not true. He blames himself for not realizing who she was to be and that she would be human or appear human.

There she is. She is just coming in the exam room and she's by herself. I wonder where Lewis is? I know she has some of the she-wolves at sorority house watching the girls so where is Lewis?

This is the closest I've been to Maria since she's been pregnant. Yes I was at the first appointment but she wasn't showing at all. Now at 4 months she has a little pooch. What I wouldn't give to be able to touch and caress her stomach and speak to our son. I think Liam talk to both our mate and our children all the time. I see the children often then she doesn't know that. The girls' babysitters are she-wolves who are actually part of the royal guard. They are under my command. Maria knows this as does Lewis, so it's easy for me to go see the girls when Maria is in a meeting.

I watch is the doctor examined Maria and does an ultrasound. Maria seems very excited to find out that she's having son.

"Tonya?" Maria says to her doctor who happens to be her cousin.

"Yes Maria I'm assuming you have a question. That's what I hear your voice I miss that you to use the first name it must be something about being a wolf." Tonya says. "If you would like we can talk in my office."

"You treat both human and Wolf right and you are also family practice?" Maria asked.

"Am I presume this is a question about Lewis?" Tonya says.

"Sorta. I guess you could say it's about both of us. Lewis let himself go after Mary was killed and well his diabetes is severe.I know that he carries the wolf gene and I was wondering if that is the the reason he can or will survive longer?" Maria asks .

"I would think that is a good assumption although I don't think any studies have been done to prove it. I didn't know he carried the wolf gene." Tonya says.

I didn't I know that either. It makes sense that he would carry it if he is or was the true mate of a sub royal alpha princess. I guess I just didn't think about it. It also explains why he can be the human mate to the Royal she wolf.I guess I just never thought about his heritage. Maybe I should check it out.

"Actually time yet he also carries royal blood too ." Maria says.

"WHAT?" Tanya says it I'm thinking it.

"Yes , it's a little complicated. His grandmother is our grandfathers half sister. But now this is where it gets complicated she was also his first cousin." Maria tells her.

"Are you telling me that he's Cindy's grandson?" Tanya ask.

"Yep" she answers.

"Did you know that I'm named after my great grandmother? Well I guess it would be better to say our great grandmother. Hmmm that would also mean that she was his great grandmother as well." Tonya says.

"No I did know that." Maria says. "Truth is I'm still learning about my werewolf backgrounds.I don't know anything past Papa and Grandma Eve."

Now this is interesting. I need to listen and find out what I can. For some reason I think its something very important that I'm about to learn.

"Haven't you been spending time with Papa and Grandma lady? It was my understanding that you were supposed to be learning from them." Tonya said.

"I am and I was spending time with them until I got sick with this pregnancy. I've learned a lot but we haven't gone over a lot of history mostly it's been responsibilities. But the first trimester I've been really sick. I've been waiting and throwing up a lot more with this one then with the last 2." Maria says.

"Well how about we do this? You're my last patient for the day but I can't leave yet because I've got somebody coming in shortly that's in labor so well I'm waiting we could go in my office and I can give you a little bit of the family history. Then maybe once a week we can get together and I can give you more backgrounds and you can ask questions. I know I'm not as good as Grandma Eve but since you can't go there at least you can still learn some things. and I'm sure grandma age and Papa need to teach you more about being a royal then the family history or even werewolf history.I can teach you a little bit of what we were talking about being a Royal but mostly I think I can teach you about being a she wolf. We have to be careful where we discuss things because we don't want the wrong people to hear and that means both human and werewolf. It is most important that we keep your identity hidden until Michael can claim you. I have no doubt that the evil one and his minions are not trying to find you now. We never know until it's too late who works for him. I can promise you right now that he is looking for you. I am also positive that he has no idea who nor what you are." Tonya tells Maria.

"I don't understand about the evil one. I know that he is the reason Sabrina and Liam were brought back. I know that Sabrina is here to pass judgment volume is to carry it out against the human host." Maria says.

"Well I don't know too much about that I think that something that Sabrina will have to talk with you about or Liam. But what I can talk with you about is the family history. Let's go to my office." Tanya says as she leads Maria to her office.

I sure am glad I installed that camera in Tanya's office. I need to boot up the surveillance equipment for her office so I can hear and see what is being said. I guess there's a lot more about the Royals that I don't know. I watched as they enter into Tanya's office and Maria takes a seat with Tanya next to her. I feel so guilty about listening to this but I need to know this is much as she does. I don't know when they plan on telling us. Looks like they're coming in.

"First of all, our grandmother Tanya was actually the granddaughter of Mother Earth and Father Time." Tonya tells Maria.

If I'm not mistaken I'm about to learn about my own history is well. I am also the great great grandson of Tanya, John and Tony.

"I don't understand. I didn't realize that they were real figures to." Maria says.

"Yes they are not only real but they have given you power. I guess my next question is what would you like to start with?" Tanya ask.

"Tanya I know I need this information but there's some other information that I think is more pressing on me at this moment." Maria says.

"Hon you can ask me anything." Tanya says.

"Well...is it normal for she wolf to get pregnant every time she has sex?" Maria asked blushing.

"Maria are you saying what I think you're saying. Did you just tell me that you and Lewis only had sex 3 times?" Tonya says as I think it.

Blushing Maria says, " Well yeah I guess I did. That really wasn't what I was meaning to say but yeah that's true. It's just that every time we have sex I find out I'm pregnant." Maria says."

"No that's not normal. What you don't seem to understand is that your not I'm normal person nor a normal wolf. I know that Sabrina and Liam have 3 daughters. Now with this 1 being a boy ... I'm not sure what it means. I have to assume you will have 1 more child as well. I would say ask Uncle Von our aren't you close to Dottie Wolf? She might be able to answer that question. Dottie is almost as knowledgeable as Uncle Von. Had her mate been anyone other than Ethan Wolf she would have been Von 's assistant. She is an actual historian and was training for that when she met Ethan. She was the first female born to the Royal line after your grandmother and like me we're not in a direct succession."

"I don't really understand. I guess I do need some history lessons. You seem so knowledgeable. How did you ever learn so much?" Maria says.

"Haha Dottie and I were the only 2 girls to be completely schooled at the royal palace. We learned about American history and World history but let's just say wolf history took first priority. Grace was the first female royal ever born. Dottie is the only other and she is so far down the line she is the youngest daughter up Papa's youngest brother." Tonya tells her.

"But aren't you a royal female?" Maria asks.

Good question Maria. I thought Tonya was Bill daughter too. raisin I never knew that royal females were born with out the ability to change into their wolf.

"Not really. You see I'm adopted. Rae is really my aunt. My mother died giving birth to me. We're not sure who my father is. Because of my wolf coloring, we suspect that my father is really David's are still born. He is the one that my mother was spending time with before he disappeared. He disappeared before anyone knew about me and he never marked mother. Most likely that is the reason mother dad giving birth." Tonya says in a matter of fact tone.

"I don't understand. Wouldn't that make you higher than me if you would this son of David's first born?" Maria ask.

"Haha...again you need to know the royal history. If they suspect is really my father he was not the royal heir because he was not the child of David's true mate. He was the child of the woman David was forced to mate with in order to save Eve's life. I can say we definitely need you to learn werewolf royal history. Anyway, Bill and Rae adopted me. Although they adopted me I didn't get close to them until I was older because I was a weak child stayed in the medical wing and until my wolf started to grow. Rae, Eve and Dottie came to see me all the time but I didn't get to know the man of my family until I was older. Please don't get me wrong. I knew they were and it wasn't like the avoided me but it was just because I was sick and I were always busy. I also didn't stay in the family waiting until I was 6 years old. I guess you could say Dottie and I are a lot alike. You see she got she snuck off to the history wing where I snuck off to the medical wing. We both excelled at very early ages in those areas. I guess that's the reason I became a doctor." Tonya tells Maria.

I'm learning a lot that I didn't know. I think that Maria is not the only 1 who needs to sit down with mother and have a talk. It would appear that I'm sorting lacking in the history of my family.

"What about your mate? Is he also a royal?" Maria asks.

"Hahaha...you really do want a family history lesson. Grandma Tonya was first mated to Grandpa John's Uncle Tom. They had to children. Their oldest son was Richard and then Cindy. Richard turned out to be the mate of Cat who was the Queen of the Russian Kingdom. Their's was the first kingdom them to come under the rule of the first High Alpha King and

Queen. Which is a whole different lesson. Anyway, my Tom was their firstborn." Tonya continues.

"Wouldn't that make him their heir?"

Maria thinks like I do.

"In most human and wolf kingdoms it would, but no the ruling gene is passed down to their female line so his younger twin sister is the Crown Princess of the Russian kingdom. Tom came to see his cousins well here was injured in a battle and I met him in the medical wing it was dying. I think you had given up on living because at the time he was almost 200 years old and had not found his mate. I only other hand had just turned 16 and old enough to recognize my mate. I have heard that Papa's cousin had say grandma a life and was not doing well so I went to thank him and lo and behold he perked up when he got a scent of me. I was from a he had waited on. Even before I knew what had happened I was marked. I really don't know what happened next because I fainted.

When I came back to dad was being pulled out of the medical wing fuming. Papa on the other hand had a big smile when no 1 else looking. I remember him winking at me before putting a stern face on. Apparently he and Tom have always been close and he was happy that Tom had finally found his mate. tom and I live at the palace when he is home. Tom is the Royal Liaison and travel a lot. I travel with him a great deal as well." Tonya says.

"I'm at this office when he's usually out of the country or dare somebody special I need to see." Tonya says.

"Am I that someone special?" Maria ask.

"Your one of them. I also have another she wolf that is about to deliver. She's coming from the Huntsville pack house today. I expect her here about 30 minutes from now. She's the reason I had time to talk. there is also another she wolf who is a little farther along that will be coming here. Not to mention I'm also on call for Dottie. She is due in the next couple of weeks. If that pup of hers is as big as I suspect I'm going to ask are they saying in this area. it appears that she is carrying another alpha. this one is showing signs of being gifted just like Michael and Mary did. I have never seen a family put out so many gifted children. I think Mary has more of Grandma Tonya in her than anyone else other than Papa. According to legend and history only those born to rule or have a major part in changing the way the world or werewolf is are born with gifts. did you know that you're getting? You have a way even though your wolf is dormant or has been dormant of calling everyone around you. You also have the gift of persuasion.I've never seen anyone be able to stop Papa doing anything other than Grandma Eve and David she has a hard time when he's really mad. From what I understand your second day at the palace Michael came busting in to the family private quarters and Papa was just about ready the stop his heart but you calmed him completely down. No one does that and lives. yet Michael is alive and everyone was surprised, but still surprised here." Tonya tells her.

"No one ever stop the High Alpha King even Grandma Eve has a hard time and absolutely no one enters the king and queen family quarters without first being invited. What Michael did could easily have cost him his life. Dad and his brothers don't even do that not since they moved out and into their own quarters. Mary used to tell us about how you would persuade are calm the crowd while still in school. Since you are able to do then even when your wolf was not awake this is a very strong gift. I personally can't wait to see what other gifts will manifest Himself even before your wolf comes out of her dormant state. Now that she is awake you could start exhibiting signs of several other gifts. Papa Tony and Grandma Tonya we're the only two children to shows multiple gifts before they became rulers. grandma Tanya what's even more gifted than Papa Tony. It's said that hurts worse from the mother earth tony was from father time but because they were twins they also had a bond where they could share their gifts. It's said that when John, Tony and Tanya all became mates they could share all of their gifts." Tanya continues.

"Now Maria I have a question for you. Do you have a gut feeling when somebody is telling the truth, the whole truth or partial truth? And do you get a premonition when something is coming that's not good?" Tonya asked.

Wow good question Tanya I wonder how she will answer? I didn't realize my mate was so gifted. I never realized that my gift is so rare... well I knew it was rare but I didn't know that it meant something like this.

"I've never told anybody but yeah on both. The day Mary died I knew something bad was going to happen. I knew that it had something to do with Mary but I didn't know what. As far as being able to tell when somebody was being truthful in part or in whole, well I guess that's why do well with young people." maria said shocked. "I didn't realize they were considered gifts. It's just something I've always been able to do or know. Can't most people do that?"

"No they can't. Your something else Maria. I can't help but think when your wolf does come out that you will be more like Grandma Tonya than anyone thought. It's said that Papa never lost control when Grandma was around. Her mere presences could calm everyone down. To make you look just like her and act like her too. There's a picture that was painted the day her and Grandpa John' were crowned in the throne room and you look so much like she did. The picture is off Grandpa John, Grandma Tonya and Papa Tony. so many people don't understand the picture because Tony was in there but what they don't understand and only the royal family knows is that he was more than Johns best friend and Tanya's twin he was the third mate. Officially he was the High Royal Beta but the truth was he was a Co-High King. It's said that you never saw Tonya without one of her mates after she was kidnapped. But I guess we will go into that later. From the look on your face you are in information overload. Why don't we plan on meeting next week." Tonya tells Maria.

Since you said we need somewhere no one can hat ids why don't we have lunch at the sorority house in my office. My office is sound proof." Maria offers.

Well at least I have bugs in that room. There is nothing that goes down in that room that I can't know about. I have a live feed to my office as well as to my phone and tablet.

Today I not only for to see that my love and our child is alright but I learned more about her. I also learned something else today. Seeing her like this actually calmed me and my wolf. I couldn't smell her. I guess that it's what sets my wolf. I'm sure if circumstances we different it might at him off in a different way but seeing that she is fine and hearing her we are both calm.

I will have to make it a point to see her like this. Well not spying on her but maybe video conference or Skye. I have thought about this before. Maybe I will handle the pack houses on campus now myself this way instead of using a go between. I think this is the comprise I need to be able to deal with not having her.

Oh no. I didn't realize it was so late. I need to pick my parents up at the airport.

Maybe I need to ask mother about the history of the royal s along with the legions concerning the white she wolf.
