Chapter 2 Part 1 SABRINA AND LIAM REUNION

Sabrina's P.O.V.

Sabrina are you there? Liam called.

I hear him but I don't know if I want to answer. I have missed him, but my feelings are so mixed right now. I love him. I am angry at him. I do want to answer him but I don't know how... Oh how I have missed him.

Sabrina, honey. I'm sorry. I love you.

Oh that voice. I know I will not be able to ignore it much longer. It's a good thing my human is asleep because we are getting all excited just hearing him, knowing he has finally found us. I had better warn Maria to make sure I am asleep on those occasions when they have to see each other. If not, I am not so sure who will be jumping whom. It has been a thousand years since we have been together and for the last one hundred plus years I have had to ... well let's just say I have been awake and calling him, because he didn't find me. I have had to lay restless, knowing we have a very important job to do and time is short. You see I am a judge and ruler, while he being my mate, is my protector and adviser. He has my back. He keeps me safe and focused.... in check. He is wise and strong...and yes, he is strong and sexy.

Come on Sabrina he pleads... answer me.

I am not sure how to answer you. Did I really just say that to him?

Finally baby. I can hear the relief in his voice.

Don't you dare 'Finally baby' me. I love you Liam but I am angry. You have been awake and active for over a hundred years. Even now you get to come out and play and go for a run anytime you want. I can't even make an appearance! YOU DID NOT FIND US THE LAST TIME AND THIS TIME YOU DID NOT FIND US IN TIME!!! I am getting really worked up. Now again for the next 20 or so years we can't be together because you didn't listen, you just couldn't read the road map! You missed all the signs.

I know...but Sabrina I am not the gifted observer. That is your talent. That is why you are the judge. You see things. I don't. I can hear the frustration in his voice.

What does it take? A road sign saying " Hello! This way! ... Mate!"

That's not fair. You know I was trying to find you. You know that you are the most important thing in our world to me. Dominance rising in his voice. Hmmm...sounds good. I like it. Get your thoughts back together Sabrina.

Liam. That is the one thing I have never doubted. But because you could not or did not direct your human we have years before we can be together. Not to mention we are missing our right hand man! Or should I say woman and man?

What do you mean? Confusion laced his voice.

Terrance couldn't be born and Millie had to die so that our children could be born. Getting angry.

Spell it out she-wolf. You are not making sense to me. Anger and frustration coat his voice.

I know what I am about to reveal is going to hurt him. I take several deep breaths to calm myself. When Mary mated and converted Lewis, Terrance would have been born. You know we work in couples. That is the only way we survive and can overcome the evil. Since you didn't find me I needed a strong male to help birth our children.

You mean the war is that close. Knowing him like I do I can see his wolf trying to process all the information. My mate may be strong, stubborn and dominate but he is definitely the best strategist if he has all the information. Terrance on the other hand is the observant one. I really don't know how we are going to win without him and Millie. I really hope the Good Lord will find another couple to send them through.

Yes...it is very close and that means I will have to figure out a way to train our children without a lot of help from you.

What? I think he is finally getting the picture and doesn't like it.

I guess I will have to spell it out. Maria and Lewis will have our children! Their human father will be Lewis but you will be their wolf father. Comprehend?? Lewis gets to have all the fun in creating our children NOT Michael. It's called CONSEQUENCES!!!

Damn! Michael is not going to be happy about this. He is one stubborn human. I am going to have to kick his ass a few times for this one. Sabrina, I just realized that means we can't mate.

BINGO!!! Give the wolf a gold star! I'd better calm down. I have to teach our children about what is going on and I can't even make an appearance till you claim me. You cannot do that until Lewis dies. Its called the ripple effect. I am a judge. I have to do what is right. I have to set the example and so do you. Our Father hates divorce. Yes he allows it but he still hates it. Therefore, we have to do what is pleasing to him or our judgment is even worse. So you had better have a long hard talk with YOUR human half and keep him in line because he has made my life very hard with his choices.

For every action there is a reaction. Every reaction is a choice. For every choice there is a consequence. These consequences have rippling, life changing and long lasting effects. Isn't that your favorite quote? He said sadly. Wait just one minute!!! Now he is yelling and the anger is very present. DID YOU YOU JUST JUDGE ME??? Did you just throw a judgment on me?

I smirk. Looks like I am rubbing off on you. No. I DID NOT HAVE TO. YOU DID IT YOURSELF! Believe me I am glad you did because I didn't want to. In a sing song voice I tell him. Guess who gets to carry it out?

Who?

Let's figure this one out. Oh I am about to have some fun now. You are royal. Michael is sub royal. Who is the current royal enforcer? There is always one. Who is it now? OH! Let me think. Isn't that YOU?

Long pause. Lovingly I have to finish. Liam? Hun, if you don't then good can't win. We all have to live with Michael's choices. We have a job to do. Remember our Father gives us His strength if we let Him. We will get through this as long as we look to Him. The road is hard but in the end it will work out. I love you. I always have. You are the one He created for me as the other half. Until Lewis' human job is done here and he is called home, you have to be strong for both of us.

I can feel both the sadness and determination come over him as he listens to what I am saying, so I continue. I can't do this alone. I don't want to do it alone. I need you and the children will need you. Even if we cannot do all the things we want, we will still need you. I am sorry you cannot be at our children's birth but when their wolves wake up I will do what I can to get you and Michael as much time as I can with them. Baby we are going to have to trust like we never have before. With the way things are shaping up it tells me that what we have been sent here to do is very important and the evil one will do everything in his power to stop us. Liam I am afraid.

How do you like the way Sabrina gets around her job of judging him? And believe me that, passing judgment, is her major job while his is carrying out the sentence. They both can do the other's job when necessary but not as effective and willingly.
