Consciousness vs. Sub-consciouness

We have it reversed, topsy-turvy, inside out, back to front;

We walk on our head and speak with our feet

Declare to the world we have it under control;

However, we are running tape delayed; six seconds

Is surely enough time to fix all mistakes, if we

Just knew...yet we did know, once upon a time,

We knew the truth and rejected it...get away

From us you creators; you confound our reality.

Six seconds, damn that's a lot of time, six

Seconds before now becomes now,

But our unconscious mind was there before us,

Responding to it, feeling it, deciding our pathway.

Curse the day we decided to walk in the past,

Turning our world on end, walking blindly in what was.

We are confused, confounded, perplexed, puzzled,

"Who really is the sub here?"
