Draupadi was tensed to see the appearance of Arjuna. Subadra could not tolerate seeing the body conditions of Arjuna. Yudhistira immediately got up from his throne and asked, "Oh Dear Arjuna, What happened? You look very weak as if you are just a body without a soul. Tell me, Arjuna, Your bright face has become so pale like how the sun looks during the eclipse."

"Oh Arya, What happened? I can feel your body which does not have even a percent of energy." asked worried Subadra.

"Madhava has left us, O Dear brothers," replied Arjuna with tears flowing like a river.

"What are you saying, Arjuna. Be clear," asked Bhima.

"Brother Bhima, Krishna left his body and returned to heaven".

Draupadi froze and Subadra fainted hearing the statement of Arjuna. Yudhishitra was thunderstruck at the disappearance of the supreme Lord.

Arjuna, Draupadi, Yuddhistira, and Subadra always engaged in the devotional service to Sri Krishna. They loved him dearly. No devotee will ever bear when he hears that the Lord has left him.

Draupadi started weeping. Bhima consoled her. Veda Vyasa arrived at that moment. Feeling relieved at his arrival, Yudhistira fell at Vyasa's feet with tears washing his feet.

"O King, the righteous one, Don't worry. Sri Krishna is omnipresent. He is the Lord of this Universe. He is present in each and every moment. He has left for his abode because his aim has been accomplished and he fulfilled his required work. Now it is time for you too to leave."

Draupadi and Pandavas looked stunned.

"Yes. It is time for you all to depart this world. You all have completed your mission successfully".

Yudhishtira nodded at Vyasa's statement. They served him for a while and he departed from the palace.

Draupadi said, "Arya, I don't want to live in this world where Madhava is not there."

Yudhishthira said, "Dear, Let it happen as you wish. I have decided. We will crown our dear Parikshit tomorrow as the King of Hastinapur. We will depart to Heaven by walk."

Other Pandavas accepted this decision. They prepared for the celebration of coronating Parikshit.

With the rites performed by Guru Kripacharya, Parikshit was crowned as the King with all power and blessings. Pandavas and Draupadi started their journey to heaven leaving Subadra to guide Parikshit.

Parikshit ruled Hastinapur righteously. People got satisfied with his rule. They loved him dearly. He married Iravati, the daughter of King Uttar of Matsya who was killed in the Kurukshetra war. He begot 4 sons and the eldest was Janamejaya. King Parikshit started conquering the whole world. As he visited every place, he heard the glories of his forefathers and Sri Krishna. In this way, he started desiring for the lotus feet of Sri Krishna.

As years past, Many unusual things started happening in the place of Kurus. Theft, murders, and all ill qualities started spreading in the kingdoms.

Parikshit consulted Guru Kripacharya who replied that it was due to the effect of the spreading of Kali Purusha. Parikshit was astonished. He decided to capture and prison him for the welfare of the world.

One day as Parikshit was traveling through the forest, he was dismayed to see a scene. A person dressed as a king was beating a distressed cow and bull with a club mercilessly.
