A/N: It's been a while since I updated this book, like a long while. I'm sorry guys, I've just found myself doing other stuff and didn't really have any drive to work on this book at the time. However I'm feeling more up to it so I hope that I can get more chapters out for those of you who enjoy this story. It means a lot when you guys show interest in this so I wanna be able to provide you guys a good work with this book. Also in this chapter, there are manga spoilers so if you've only seen the anime, I'm sorry but some things will be spoiled for you. Thanks for everything and all your support, until next time.

After leaving Lynn to herself and her own struggles in the future, you resumed your pursuit of Akaza as you followed the scent of his blood through the forest. Time passed while tracking the weak demon through the woods, night began to fall and the wind began to blow through the forest as his scent got stronger. Seeing this as a good opportunity, you ascended into the air and began to fly through the sky as you could see lights off in the distance as the stench of humans began to fill the air, indicating a village of sorts. While flying over the forest and gliding over the grassy plains, you spotted Akaza running through the area straight towards the city.

"He's in a rush. I guess he does not want to be late for him." You thought as you continued to chase after him.

After flying in the air for some few minutes now, you were hovering over the air as Akaza had slipped into the darkness of the city and was making his way to Muzan. Though he was out of sight, he was not out of range for your sense of smell, though another stench had filled your nostrils and you knew the scent of this all too well. Descending down to stand atop a roof of a building, you looked across the street to stare through the windows of a large manor that seemed to belong to a wealthy family. At the second story was a balcony that led to a small library in the home and there you saw Akaza knelt in front of a young boy child.

"I've finally found you, vermin." You slightly smirked with amusement as Kibutsuji Muzan was finally locked in your sights, and best of all was that he was unaware of your presence while Akaza prostrated himself before his master.

"I am here to report to you...Master Muzan." Akaza spoke as the boy turned his head towards him before his eyes suddenly changed to a strained pink-hued color and veins were visible on his face.

"Have you found what I asked for?" Muzan's voice came from the boy's mouth as the demon king glared at his subordinate while you descended on top of their roof and listened to them.

"I looked into it but came up empty. Having no way to even confirm its existence...I was unable to locate the Blue Spider Lily." Akaza reported as silence filled the air.

"...And?" Muzan asked as if there was anything else to report.

"I will continue to do my utmost to live up to your expectations, Master Muzan. As ordered, I did eliminate one Hashira, so you may rest assured." Muzan's Upper Moon Three reported as he turned his body completely towards Akaza with a calm but furious look on his face.

"You seem to have the wrong idea about this...Akaza." Muzan raised one finger and a sudden reaction hit Akaza and his muscles completely tensed and his bones trembled as he was frozen in pain. "So what if you disposed of one Hashira? AS if that were such a feat. A demon beating a human is a forgone conclusion. What I want is for the Demon Slayer Corps to be annihilated." Muzan explained to Akaza as his subordinate was suffering great pain and his veins were darkened by a cellular reaction in his body, but he did his best to tough it out to not upset Muzan as his master crushed a page in a book he held in his hands. "Pummel the life out of every last one of them and never let another one enter my line of sight again." He said while ripping out the page of the book while Akaza was beginning to leak blood from his mouth. "It's hardly a complicated task. And yet, I'm still waiting for it to happen. What do you have to say about that?" Muzan asked before suddenly tearing the book in half with a maddened expression on his face. "You boast of having killed a Hashira, but there were four other Demon Slayers there. Why did you fail to kill them off after I made a point of sending you there because you happened to be nearby? Akaza...Akaza...Akaza...Akaza!" Muzan threateningly repeated his name over and over in anger as Akaza was leaking blood from his eyes, nose and mouth and endured great pain while remaining silent due to the embarrassment he had proven himself to be. "You have disappointed me. To think that you suffered a blow by a swordsman who isn't even a Hashira...How far you've fallen, Upper Three." Muzan said while walking back to the bookshelf as the cellular reaction ceased in Akaza. "Dismissed." Was all he finished with before grabbing another book as Akaza stood back up and bowed his head before leaving.

"Hmph, he talks of how embarrassing the state of his demons are, yet he himself is proof of the true descent from power of demons. It's time I eradicate you from this earth, vermin." You thought as you grabbed the hilt of your blade at your side before floating off away from the building a few meters.

The wind blew through the city and the moon shined behind you as your blade came unsheathed from your side and you held it out across from you. Meanwhile, Muzan continued reading to try and find any clues on the location of the blue spider lily, when the father of the boy who he shapeshifted into, came into the room to check on him after hearing the noise. Muzan was going to continue his act, but when he turned around, there was a glint of light that shined in his eye and he turned to the window in confusion, only to grow wide-eyed when he saw you floating in the air with your blade drawn.

"Begone! Dragon Strike!" You slashed the air in front of you and unleashed your demonic power as a blinding blue demonic energy surged towards him and roared in the shape of a dragon.

The man next to Muzan yelled in horror as Muzan unleashed a razor edged whip from his back and stabbed the father in his back before using him as a shield. The entire manor was engulfed in your attack as all the humans screamed in horror and pain before they were reduced to ash as the attack ripped through the land. Muzan covered himself with more whips from his body as the man he used as a shield had instantly died and was reduced to nothing, and the force of your Dragon Strike pushed him all the way back to the city streets. Civilians were caught in the blast and your attack ended once it came into contact with a four story work building, blowing it away as Muzan rolled on the ground with burnt flesh and blood pouring from multiple wounds. He struggled to stand as he slowly lifted his head to look ahead and see you descend before him, standing a few meters away.

"You're still alive. Vermin like you are always annoying to kill." You said as he shakily stood on his feet with bloodshot eyes.

"Who do you think you are?" Muzan asked in an enraged tone as his wounds began to heal.

"I am your end." You said while raising your blade up once more as an ominous blue demonic aura swirled around the blade.

"Master Muzan!" You glanced to your left and saw Akaza flying towards you. "Destructive Death, Air Type!" He sent a flurry of air attacks towards you.

"Insolent wretch." You said as you simply slashed the air towards him and a wave of demonic energy ripped through his technique.

"What?!" Akaza was shocked before his breath was taken when your demonic energy sliced off his right arm and leg as he crashed down in front of Muzan. "Ngh! Ahhhhhhhh!" He yelled in pain as his wounds burned from your demonic energy. "RRRRRAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!" He roared with strained eyes as he forced his body to regenerate his limbs as he leaped back to his feet and stood in front of Muzan in a defensive stance.

"Master Muzan this human is different from the rest of them!" Akaza spoke before hearing an audible gasp come from behind him, and suddenly, a cellular reaction triggered in Akaza as he began to tremble at the sight of you. "W-What is...this feeling...?" He thought in confusion as he looked down at his hands in shock to see them shaking violently.

"Impossible..." Muzan muttered as Akaza began to see strange images in his mind, images of you at different time periods. "You were only suppose to be a story...!" Muzan's voice shook as more terrifying images of you appeared in Akaza's memories.

"Who is this man..." Akaza thought as he could barely stand on his own two feet as you stared at them with the same cold glare on your face. "No...he's not human...!" Akaza came to a realization in shock.

"I see you're still afraid to meet your fate." You said while raising your blade towards them as their reflection shined in your steel. "It's useless." You said as you began to walk towards them.

"TCH! NAKIME!!!" Muzan yelled in fury as you were confused by his sudden outburst.

"Squeal all you wish, it's over!" You dashed towards the two of them with your blade ready to strike.

Just before you could cleave both Akaza and Muzan in two, the sound of a biwa twanged close you three as a door suddenly appeared below you and below both Muzan and Akaza. You sudden found yourself in a strange space of doors and walkways ranging in every which direction possible as you looked around for Muzan. Looking back up, you saw the door you fell through shut close before suddenly disappearing at another twang of the biwa.

"Don't get ahead of yourself! You are in my domain! MY INFINITY CASTLE! This is where you will meet your putrid end!" Muzan's voice echoed through the castle.

"Hmph, running like the vermin you are, how fitting." You said as you floated in the center of the infinity castle, searching for Muzan or his scent. "However..." You lifted your sword out in front of you as it shined blue with demonic energy. "...Like I said, it's useless." You finished as your demonic energy surged throughout the Infinity Castle.

Spinning around and slashing along the air, you unleashed a spiral wave of demonic energy that ripped through all floors of the castle, blowing away all the rooms and walkways around you. Not showing any fatigue at all, you unleashed one wave of demonic energy after the other as you blast apart his castle, while Muzan felt the trembling in the room he was in.

"That wretched monster...!" Muzan, who had shifted to his adult body, scoffed in anger as Upper Moons One, Two, Three, Four, Five, and Six appeared behind Muzan.

"We've arrived, Master Muzan." Akaza reported as Muzan turned around with a furious look on his face.

"There is only one thing that needs to be done. Slay the foul demon that dares to come after myself. I want his head beneath my feet...!" Muzan turned around to address his subordinate demons.

"Gyutaro! Daki!"

"Gyokko!"

"Hantengu!"

"Akaza!"

"Doma!"

"Kokushibo!"

"If you bring me this Demon's head, I will reward you bountifully! Just kill him no matter what!" Muzan ordered as they all bowed their heads.

"Yes, Master Muzan." The Upper Moons all responded before the trembling grew even stronger.

Turning their heads up the ceiling, they were all shocked and covered themselves when the roof of the room they were in had suddenly exploded and was blown away. Demonic energy surged through the room as they were all seemingly electrically shocked by your energy except for Muzan who was moved to a walkway above by Nakime, and Kokushibo who managed to jump away in time. The Upper Moons who were hit by your attack all dropped to one knee as they looked up in shock when they saw you descending towards them.

"Found you." You said in a cold tone as Muzan had fallen into a cold sweat from killer look in your eyes.

"Breath of the Moon. First Form, Dark Moon, Evening Palace." Kokushibo unsheathed his blade and slashed horizontally in your direction as pieces of sharp flesh shape as crescent moons came flying towards you chaotically.

"Spare me your pompous acts." You raised your blade and unleashed a wave of demonic energy towards his attacks.

Your demonic energy easily destroyed Kokushibo's technique and barreled towards him as he leaped into the and flew towards you with his blade ready. You watched him closely, but there was stench coming from behind as you glanced back to see Daki appear behind you with her obi sashes flying towards you. Then there was a strange sound in the air as you looked left and saw spinning blood sickles coming towards you and from your right, you saw Akaza throw air punches towards you as they coordinated their attack. Moving at shocking speeds, you appeared higher above the air as an after image was all they could follow from you and their attacks were rendered useless. You stared down at Kokushibo as the other demons surrounded you from different levels of the castle.

"You..." You spoke to Kokushibo as he stared back straight at you with a blank expression on his face just like yours. "...Your scent is familiar, yet not the same as the one I remember from long ago. Perhaps you know who I speak of, swordsman." You said as this struck a chord in Kokushibo as he remembered his brother, Yoriichi.

"I have no words to exchange with you. All that there is for us to do is simply defeat you." Kokushibo brushed the topic off instantly before readying his blade once more. "Third Form, Loathsome Moon, Chains." In two rapid swings of his swords, he unleashed a storm of small crescent slashes towards you.

"Well, no matter what any of you say, you all will still die." You said as you crossed your blade across in front of you with your right arm before reeling it back behind the left side of your head. "Dragon Strike." You sliced the air in half and unleashed another blast wave of destructive demonic energy towards him.

Your Dragon Strike roared with its immense power as Kokushibo's attack disintegrated from your power and before he could fall victim to your attack, a biwa chord was twanged and he appeared in an open door above the platform he stood on. The castle shook once more from the explosion and filled with dust and fire as visibility became limited in the surrounding area you were in. There was a strong gust of wind that had the Upper Moons sliding on their feet inch after inch before the blast finally died down. While floating in the center of the smoke, you searched for Muzan's scent to try and finish him off, but before you could get a lock on him, Doma the Upper Moon Two, came through the smoke behind you.

"Blood Demon Art...Frozen Lotus." Doma opened his iron war fan and slashed it towards you as he unleased and barrage of ice shards with several ice lotuses.

You spun around and used your blade to shatter the incoming attacks, but after defending yourself, three younger versions of Hantengu appeared above you from the smoke. His clones all appeared in order, Sekido the anger of Hantengu wielding a monk's staff fashioned from his flesh, Karaku the relaxation of Hantengu wielding a maple-leafed Uchiwa fan made of his flesh and blood, and Aizetsu the sorrow of Hantengu holding a polearm also fashioned from his flesh. They raised their blades and brought them down simultaneously towards you, but they came to a stop when they struck your blade as you blocked their attacks without even looking towards them. Turning around you pushed them away as they disappeared back into the smoke and growing tired of this farce, you used your blade and slashed the air again to clear away the smoke surrounding you. After regaining visibility, you looked up to see Muzan watching from high above as you flew off right towards him.

"It's over." You said before growing perplexed look at how desperate Muzan looked.

"Now, Nakime!" Muzan gave the order as you unleashed another Dragon Strike to try and kill him before anything happened.

Before you could reach him however, the twang of Nakime's biwa twanged one last time as a door appeared right in front of you. The momentum you carried with you made you unable to stop as your attack was sent through the door and you flew right out the Infinity Castle. You tried turning back to fly in, a barrage of crescent slashes came flying out the door in the ground and you were forced to cancel it out with another demonic blast. Your attack made it back through and crashed near Muzan as he was sent flying and crashed against one of the doors in his Infinity Castle, and before you could get back in, Nakime twanged her biwa twice and the door instantly vanished. Muzan's skin burned from the demonic energy that managed to spread onto him as he groaned in pain with raging bloodshot eyes.

"That vile beast...! HE WILL KNOW TRUE HORROR FOR WHAT HE HAS DONE TO ME!! Once I conquer the sun, no living being will be able to stop me!" Muzan thought in rage as his skin began to heal as the sight of you was forever burned into his cells.

Meanwhile, you were stood back in the plains back near the city you found Muzan staring at the ground with the same emotionless face, but you were a bit annoyed. You exhaled through your nostrils in irritation before sheathing your blade once more at your side. When you were about to walk off, the faint sounds of screaming could be heard in the distance as you turned around to see the city behind you had parts of it in flames and some buildings were completely blown to bits as civilians were terrified by the unknown and sudden attack that struck them. You watched the flames spread through their homes before turning back toward the forest and walking away as you just shook off the events that just occurred to restart your goal, hunt down Muzan and kill him.
