... Because severely depressed people can sometimes hurt or kill not only themselves - but Other People too! :/

I think we all heard about too many cases of people killing their whole families & then themselves or shooting at larger groups of people at schools, universities, campuses, shopping malls, cinemas, restaurants or churches & then commiting suicide during the last few years. 

Most of the people doing those shooting were not terrorists... - so why did they do that? Sometimes killing many innocent people they didn't even know & who did nothing to them?... - The answer is: They suffered from Severe Untreated Depression ( so as you can see it's not dangerous only for those who have it - but it can be also dangerous for the Whole Society! O_O ). 

Such a tragic situation is called 'Extended Suicide'... 

And the newest examples of it I heard about are: A father of the family who suffered from untreated depression decided to burn his house with his wife & children inside ( he planned it, he blocked all the windows & doors not to let them get out ) then went to the forest to hang himself. Both parts of his 'plan' were successful. All of his family members & him were found dead. & I was shocked when I heard about the in the news the next day ( When I hear about something like that - I always say: 'That wouldn't have happened if the severely depressed person got right diagnosis & help in time. Such tragedies can be avoided. - & They should be avoided for the good of the society! ).

The 2nd example: A father in Germany took his two little sons aged 3 and 1 & Jumped down the bridge with them! O_O  Luckily for the boys they landed on the shore & they had soft landing somehow - so they survived. But their father fell into the river & drowned - just as he planned ( So I can't even imagine how his wife must have felt when she found out what happened! There are no words to Describe That! :,(  just Horrible isn't enough! )

The 3rd example: A young man entered a Preschool with a gun & started shooting at teachers & Children! O_O . Then he was trying to kill himself but the police came & stopped him. And when they asked 'Why he did that?' he answered that 'He wanted to Punish the Society! :/ ' ( What for, man?! - those little children in preschool Didn't do Anything to YOU! :( ). Then he was taken to the psychiatric hospital for observation & it turned out that he suffered for Serious Untreated Depression.

The 4th example: A bullied teen in America had a mental break down, came to school with a gun & started shooting - not even at his bullies - but at Everyone He Could See! Teachers, students, other school workers! Everyone! & many innocent people died in it. Then he shot himself. 

( I could give more real examples here - but I won't because I realize that it's 'not nice for anyone' to read about things like that. I just wanted to make you aware Why Such Things Happen - Yes. Serious Untreated Depression is To Be Blamed. ) 

( & I just wanted to make you aware that we can stop more tragedies like that from happening - if all the people with Serious Depression get the right treatment & help ).
