... More Ways to FEEL BETTER! :)
Not to make the previous chapter too long - I decided to continue it & give you more ideas how to quickly feel better when your mood goes down in this part. That's why I'm starting with number 2 now ( some of those ideas may seem really 'obvious' - but they are not so easy to think of for a depressed person. That's why I'm listing them here for you - & I hope that you will find a way to feel better that is the best for you on the list I'm giving you - of course you may try All the Ways I'm listing here - This time one way - next time another. Why not? 😉 ).
So, More Ways To Feel Better Are:
2) MAKE SURE TO HAVE AT LEAST 2 CLOSE FRIENDS YOU CAN COUNT ON, YOU CAN TALK TO WHEN YOU'RE SAD AND WHO WILL KNOW HOW TO CHEER YOU UP THEN!
( If you have 3 such friends or even more - the better for you! :) 👍 ).
Why one such friend may be not enough? - Because he or she may be busy at the moment when you start to feel sad, & if you start calling or messaging him/her & he/she won't answer - you may think 'Why he/she doesn't answer the phone/is not online when I need him/her? :( ' - & such a tought may make you feel even worse!
< And if you have 2, 3 or more such friends - there's a bigger chance that at least one of them will be available & answer the phone or your online message when you need to talk to someone >
Talking to your friends Always makes you feel better - & talking your problems out makes you feel relieved. So you should talk to them not only when you feel good. And they should support you when you feel bad! ☺☹☺
3) WRITE A DIARY
< why not a blog but in a Paper Copy Book? ... - That's simple: Because your bad mood is temporal & what you write online will stay there Forever & many people will read that even months & Years after! 📖 ... So think about that before you start writing your bad mood out on your Time Line in social media! - It's not a good idea!... - Think how many people may read it after!... - And even those who don't know you & see your account for the First Time would instantly start Worrying about You! :/ ... - You don't want to Make Thousands of People Worry About You, right? >
( That is one reason why writing a Diary in a Copy Book, as people used to do before they invented social media is better - Another reason: Writing things down in a Copy Book will help you calm down faster & collect your thoughts better - so I Really Recommend You This Way of Getting Rid of any Bad Feelings You Have. - Don't Squeeze Your Bad Feelings Inside cause hiding them is really bad for Your Health - Write them out in a Diary - with your hand & pen, not screen & keyboard & you will feel better soon! :) ).
4) DANCE :)
< ok, if you don't feel like dancing or don't like to dance at all - I won't force you, it's just an option to make you feel happier quickly cause dancing makes your brain produce endorphins! 😃 - & they are the hormones of happiness! ^_~ >

5) EXERCISE
< It's another option to make your brain feel better through movement & it usually works - The Only Rule Here is: Choose the activity You Like - it shoud give you joy, not make you feel tired! So don't exaggerate with it & don't train too much, only as much as you need - it should make you feel happier... - not make your muscles sore! >
6) GO FOR A WALK
< Going for a walk is relaxing & admiring the nature you can see around you should make you feel better, cause you're a part of it. You can walk alone - or with your friend, as you prefer - then you will have an occasion to talk walking next to each other without rushing anywhere & spend some nice time together >
7 ) COLOURING BOOKS ARE NOT ONLY FOR KIDS NOW
< & they are scientifically proved to relax you & make you feel better when you're colouring them - so you can buy a colouring book with some more complicated patterns to colour than a colouring book for kids would have or find some free colouring pages on the Internet, print them & colour as much as you want - even if you're an adult! 😊 And Nobody Will Laugh At You - cause they became quite Fashionable now! ^_^ >
( Here you have an example of adult colouring page found online. - Just type 'Colouring pages for adults' in your browser - & you will find many more pages with flowers, birds, all kinds of other animals, dragons & anything else you like waiting for you - do you you have your coloured pencils ready? 😉 . - It's Really Worth Trying, I think! :) )
8) DRAW
< If you are good at drawing - & as I have noticed: Most Wattpad Users With Depression ARE - you can draw some nice picture yourself :) ( Remember! - I said 'Nice' not 'Sad' - cause drawing a sad picture won't make you feel any better - It should be something that Others will like too! :) ) - The act of drawing will relax you & looking at your Masterpiece when finished will make you feel Proud - & if it's good enough to share in your artbook, as many people here do - You will get Only Positive Opinions About Your Drawing & you'll feel really Appreciated when you get comments like 'Amazing!', 'Beautiful Drawing', 'It's Wonderful !' from everyone who sees it! 😁👍 >
9) IF YOU CAN SING & LIKE IT - SING! 🎤👍
< Listening to your own voice singing a song you like may also be relaxing - & when you focus on singing - you'll concentrate on the song & the melody of it, you may quickly feel better, happier & relieved, because you'll 'sing your emotions out' & calm down! :) >
10) HUG SOMEONE
< Yes, a simple hug can make you feel better faster than you think! :) - & there is something like 'Hugging Therapy' - so when you feel sad, Hug someone you know would want to be hugged by you: Your mother, father, sister, brother, grandmother, grandfather, boyfriend, girlfriend or friend - whoever of them is close enough at the monent & who would hug you back >
( That hug doesn't have to be short - it may last even 20 minutes if you need that much & they have time. Cause just standing or sitting next to the close person & hugging can sometimes express More Than Words! 😊 - & it awakes that part of your brain that is responsible for the feeling of Safety & Happiness! ^_^ )
11) WATCH YOUR FAVE MOVIE OR A COMEDY! :D
< If you decide to watch a comedy - make sure that it's funny enough for you, not 'stupid & annoying' - & that it has a kind of humor you like - otherwise it won't work >
( Some people have that one comedy that makes them laugh Everytime They Watch It! 😁 - so if you Have Such a Comedy that ALWAYS WORKS FOR YOU - Choose This One! & Laugh as Much as You Can! 😂😂😂 >
12) EAT SOMETHING SWEET 😋
< Just not too much! - Not to let it ruin the results of your diet & make you gain weight >
( a small peace of chocolate 🍫 or one banana 🍌 should be enough! ^_^ )
13) READ SOME GOOD JOKES
< they should be funny enough to make you laugh! :D . So you can buy a book of jokes to have it always close to you when you need to be cheered up or find some websites with jokes online. They are quite easy to find! :) >
14) WATCH SOME FUNNY VIDEOS OR PICTURES
< Lots of funny videos can be found on Youtube & you have ready made Funny Pictures Collections in some of My Other Books: so you have Funny Dogs Pictures, Funny Cats Pictures, Funny Other Animals Pictures or Funny Toddler & Baby Pictures to choose from - ( My Friends who saw them say that They All Work & they All made them laugh in Seconds! 😂👍 >
15) TRY SOME 'TICKLING THERAPY'
< If you can stand it & it won't annoy you - ask a close person to tickle you from time to time, when they notice that you're getting sad :D >
( Why does this work? - Because even a sudden, forced laughter can make your brain feel Happier! 😁✌ )
