... Even More Ways TO FEEL BETTER! :D


The Possibilities are really Endless! :D - Cause Everyone has his or her own way to feel happier, but I'm giving you lots of ideas to choose from!  😉 ( If you have any other ideas 'what you do to feel happier' I haven't listed in this chapter, next chapter & two previos chapters - please write them in comments. I will be grateful ! :) )

             So, Other Ways To Quickly Feel Better I Heard Of Are:


16) SURROUND YOURSELF WITH BRIGHT, 'HAPPY' COLOURS 🎱

< If you like black, grey, or brown - ok, but also have some clothes & objects you see around you in the house & in your room in some fair colours - like white, yellow, orange, red, pink, purple, green & blue - Any colours you like! :) cause looking at bright colours should make you feel happier > 

( even wearing clothes in those colours: Let's make an experiment - If you're  wearing black or grey now - put something yellow, orange or pink on - & check if your mood changes if you see yourself in it < it should Improve! 😁👍> )


17) HAVE SOME PLANTS IN THE HOUSE! 🌱

< Cause looking at plants & flowers makes you feel good & happy - so if you don't have a garden, make sure to have some at least small plants in your house. At least in one room - but something nicer & 'friendlier looking' than a cactus, ok? 🌵 - something that doesn't have thorns & blooms nice clourful, long lasting flowers would be The Best! 🌸🌹🌺🌻🌼 :) > 

( another adventage of plants in the house: They not only 'look nice' - they Produce Oxygen! :) ... - You may remember it from your Biology lessons, but if you don't - I'm telling you!  ^_~ )


18) READ A GOOD BOOK 📖

< If you have your fave book you could read over & over & over again & never get bored with it - choose This One! :) 📗 > 

( Why reading a book can make you feel happier? - Because when you read your favourite book - you're doing something You Like! 😃 - And doing Any Activity You Like can boost your mood! :) . When you're reading a good book - you focus on it's plot & can literally 'forget about the whole world for a moment' 🌏 - About how bad you felt a moment ago As Well !  ^_~  because you get busy with something you enjoy! :D ) 


19) DO THE CROSSWORDS :) 🔠 ☑

< If you like doing crosswords & start doing one when you are sad - it can also boost your mood! because you're focusing on it & stop thinking 'how sad you are' 😁👍> 


20) SOLVE SOME PUZZLE 🔶🔹🔴▶

< preferably with animal picture, some art or nice landscape - so looking at it would make you smile or calm you down >

( Attention! - The Puzzle you choose shouldn't be too difficult - because then you may get angry or upset that you can't put all the pieces together... - Make sure to choose a Puzzle you Can Solve - & have fun solving it!  ^_^ )  It's also a very good exercise to keep your brain fit & young! :)

21) TAKE A RELAXING BATH 🛀

< Yes, believe me! :) - Cleaning your body may also help you 'clean your mind out of bad emotions' & 'wash your sadness away! :) > 

( & even if you usually just take a quick shower - let your relaxing bath last 15 minutes at least to give you some time to fully relax... - You can add some foam, or scented oil to it - if you like... - & Enjoy your bath! 😉 - You should feel Better & Happier with every minute of it!  ^_^ )


22) LOOK AT SOMETHING NICE ! 😚🎨

< No matter if it's a piece of jewellery, a work of art or some nice object you have in your house & like to look at - if looking at it makes you feel Better, make sure to have it close to you when you feel sad > ( It should Help! ^_~ )


23) USE SOME SQUEEZE TOY! 😎😜

< Cause they relieve stress & they are a harmless way to get rid of your sadness & bad emotions gathered inside you > ( So squeeze that toy as long as you feel better - it's made for it! :D ) 

< The funnier it looks when squeezed - the Better! 😃 - cause looking at it's funny shape or seeing how it makes a 'silly face' when squeezed can make you laugh! 😁😂😂 >

24) WATCH FAMILY PICTURES 

< Or pictures of you & your friends - But only those that will bring you Some Happy Memories! No embarrassing situations on them - because such pictures will make you feel worse! > ( Your Happy Pictures May be from last Holidays you spent with your family or friends & you all had a great time together, maybe from some Wedding or other important Positive Celebration < right, no funeral pictures now - they would only make you sad > 

( Some Birthday, Christmas or New Year's Eve Pictures would be Great! :D - Cause Everyone is Happy In Them! 😃👍 )


25) PET YOUR CAT OR DOG - IF YOU HAVE ONE 😸🐶😁

< Cause stroking your furry pet relieves stress & makes you smile - especially when you see how much they like it, the cat may purr, the dog may look at you with love, wag his tail & give you his 'dog smile' as well to show you how happy they are because they get your love & attention - so not only you will feel happier after that: They will be happier too!  ^_^ > 

( A solution for those who don't have a dog or a cat but want to try this way: You can either visit your friends who have a pet - or another option: stroking a soft, fluffy sweater can boost your mood almost the same - so you can get a fluffy sweater you can touch & stroke when you feel sad - that should also give you some positive results :) )


26) IF YOU ARE A BELIEVER - PRAY! 😇

< Yes, a prayer is good for Everything! - and if you 'feel the support from Heaven' - you instantly feel Better!  ^)^ > 


27) GET UP & JUMP A FEW TIMES 😳✌

< This advice may sound a bit 'stupid' first - but think again: When do people usually jump? ;) ... - Right! - When they are Happy! 😆 - So if your body makes a 'happy movement' that is jumping - it may switch your brain into a 'Happy Mode'! :D > 

( Just Try!  ^_^ ... - And if it works - You'll thank me Later!  ^_~ )


28) GET SOME MORE LIGHT 💡✅

< Yes, there already are 'anti-depression lamps' that give white light you should look at sitting in front of it. So if this way works for you & this light makes you feel happier - you have two option: You can either buy such a lamp & use it at home according to the instructions - or go to places where they offer sessions with those 'anti-depression lamps'... - You decide what pays off more!  😉💲>

29) DO SOME YOGA OR MEDITATE 

< Cause Yoga & Meditation have a good influence on your body & soul. And they can help you fight depression because you focus on some positions, mantras & breathing, that makes you feel better & calms you down >

( so if you like Yoga - try That one! :) - it's said to be one of the Most Effective Ways against Depression! 😉👍)


30) LOOK AT PICTURES OF YOUR IDOLS

< Singers, actors, writers, celebrities, some saints - whoever you admire. Cause looking at them can boost your mood quickly because you have positive associations with them. So if you see your Idol smiling at you from some nice picture, a poster, a book cover or a magazine cover - you instantly want to Smile Back at them! 😁 )


31) WATCH YOUR FAVOURITE CHILDHOOD CARTOON 

< No matter how old you are now - cause watching it will instantly make you feel better & bring you good memories! :D > ( There's nothing wrong with such a 'moment of turning back in time' so if your fave childhood cartoon is not on tv anymore & you don't have it recorded on some video cassettes or dvds - you can most probably find it on Youtube & Enjoy Watching It! 😃📺 >
