It was a cold and winter day at Adventure Bay, Connor was getting ready to go to the great Hot Air Balloon Race when he heard Ryder calling for him.

Ryder: Connor! You've just got a package waiting for you.

Connor Williams: Oh, I have a mail? Interesting. (to the package) Okay. Let's see what we got today.

Sonic and his friends: (pop out) Surprise!

Ryder and the pups: Whoa!

Connor Williams: Sonic?! You all?!

Sonic: Hey, Connor. It's been a while.

Connor Williams: (hugs him) The same goes to you too, hedgehog dude!

Miles "Tails" Prower: Hi Connor!

Connor Williams: Hi, Tails! (hugs him)

Amy Rose: So good to see you again, Connor!

Sticks the Badger, Blaze the Cat, Charmy Bee, Tikal the Echidna, Wave the Swallow, Sally Acorn, Bunnie D'Coolette and Shade the Echidna: Connor! (all hug him)

Connor Williams: (laughs) My girls! (hugs all of them)

Knuckles the Echidna: Heya Connor! Give me high five! (him and Connor high five and then chest bump)

Shadow the Hedgehog: Hey, Connor. (him and Connor fist bump)

Infinite: Good to see you again, buddy!

Orbot, Cubot, Bokkun, Decoe and Bokoe: Hi, Connor!

Rubble: Is it me or are those animals speaking and walking on two legs? They're pretty cool though, along with those robots.

Connor Williams: (to the others) Everyone, these are my old friends,  Sonic the Hedgehog, his girlfriend Amy Rose, Miles "Tails" Prower, his girlfriend Cosmo the Seedrian, Knuckles the Echidna, Big the Cat, Cheese the Chao, Shadow the Hedgehog, Rouge the Bat, E-123 Omega, E-102 Gamma, my girlfriends Sticks the Badger, Blaze the Cat, Charmy Bee, Tikal the Echidna, Wave the Swallow, Sally Acorn, Marine the Racoon, Bunnie D'Coolette and Shade the Echidna, Espio the Chameleon, (gasps long and speaks fast) Vector the Crocodile, Silver the Hedgehog, Orbot and Cubot, Bokkun, Decoe and Bocoe, Infinite, Gadget the Wolf, Emerl, Mighty the Armadillo, Ray the Flying Squirell, Chaos, Jet the Hawk, Storm the Albatross, Rabbot, Antoine, Rotor, Sonic's siblings Sonia and Manic, G-Merl, Shade the Echidna and Chip.

Ryder: The name's Ryder, and these are the pups, Chase, Marshall, Skye, Rocky, Rubble and Zuma.

Deadpool: And finally me, Wade Wilson A.K.A. Deadpool!

Pups: Hi.

Silver the Hedgehog: The pleasure is all ours.

Connor Williams: So, since we have an introducions behind us, we're going to the Hot Air Balloon Race. Wanna come?

Orbot: Count us in, Connor.

Cubot: We wouldn't miss this in the world!

Deadpool: Then let's go!

Later that day, Connor and the others were helping Mayor Goodway get ready for the race.

Mayor Goodway: Why did I ever agree to a balloon race? Not too high! Not too fast!

Connor Williams: You're not up in the air, Mayor Goodway.

Ryder: (laughing) Connor's right, you're still on the ground.

Mayor Goodway: Oh, yes. Ha. Hmm. I need to get over this fear of heights.

Sonic the Hedgehog: Everyone needs to get over their fears. And I love a good race. 

Mayor Goodway: And anyway I can always keep my eyes closed.

Ryder: Don't forget, Mayor Goodway, Connor and I will be in the balloon to help you.

Big the Cat: You just wait and see, you're going to be just fine.

Mayor Goodway: Oh, right. Thanks, Ryder. Thanks, Big.

Ryder: Okay. Ready to unroll, pups?

Rubble: Ready. (as he and Chase unrolled the balloon)

Chase: It sure is dusty. (Chase reveals that the balloon is dusty) Uh-oh, it's got a... Ah, Ah, Achoo!

Miles "Tails" Prower: What's wrong, Chase?

Chase: It's got a rip. A bad rip. This balloon won't hold air.

Mayor Goodway: Oh, Mayor Humdinger from Foggy Bottom will win the annual Mayor's Balloon Race again.

Ryder: Don't worry. We'll get this balloon ready in time for the race. No job is too big, no pup is too small. (to Sonic and the gang) That's something I always say before I call in the Paw Patrol.

Rouge the Bat: The Paw Patrol?

Deadpool: Yeah, Rouge. We are the PAW Patrol.

Ryder: Watch this.

With no time to lose, Ryder used his Pup-pad and started calling the pups.

At the park, the pups are participating in a hurdles sprint race

Rocky: On your bark, get set... (howling)

Then, they're starting to race. But just as the pups were about to begin to race, the pup tags were beeping.

Ryder:Paw Patrol, to the Lookout!

Pups: Ryder's calling!

Marshall: (stumbles) Whoa!

Rocky: New race to the Lookout!

So, Rocky begins a new race to the Lookout after being contacted.

As they get here, Chase, Rubble, Rocky and Zuma all get wedged between the elevator doors, with Skye joining them as they get stuck.

Zuma: Pups, we've got a serious case of the wedgies.

Pups: (laughing)

Marshall: (soon arrives) Wait for me! (slipping as he bumped into them and got them unstuck) Whoa, no. Ahh! (laughing)

Infinite: Well, that was a crash course.

Shadow the Hedgehog: (facepalms) This is ridiculous.

Rocky: Don't worry, Shadow. You'll get used to this.

Shadow the Hedgehog: (unconviced) I doubt it.

As they went up, the Paw Patrol suited up and they reached the top.

Chase: Paw Patrol ready for action, Ryder, sir!

Vector the Crocodile: Okay, now we're really confused.

Connor Williams: I used to be like that too, but eventually I got used to it. And you all should too. 

Sonic and his friends: Ok, Connor.

Ryder: Okay, guys, we have a problem. (showing the big screen) We need to fix the hot air balloon for Mayor Goodway's big race.

Connor Williams: The balloon has a big rip in it.

Pups: (Gasping)

Bokkun: Not good.

Ryder: Rocky, you'll need to find something we can reuse to patch it.

Rocky: Green means go!

Ryder: The hot air that makes the balloon rise comes from a gas flame heater. Marshall, I'll need you to make sure that the heater is safe.

Marshall: I'm fired up!

Connor Williams: And I'll guide the hot air balloon during the race.

Deadpool: And I'll help out too.

Sonic and his gang: So will we!

Ryder: And with our new friends, Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends, we're gonna need all the help we can get.

E-102 Gamma: You can count on us!

Ryder: All right! PAW Patrol is on a roll!

Pups: (barking)

At last, the deployment sequence for Rocky and Marshall has begun as they make preparations. And once Connor went in his A-Team van, he saw Sonic and the others followed him.

Connor Williams: Huh? (saw his guests) Uh... Ryder, I think some of Sonic's friends want to be with me.

Ryder: Well then, bring them along for the ride too, Connor. We'll take the rest of them.

Connor Williams: Okay then.

So with that, they took off to make their way to the Adventure Bay City Hall.

As soon as they got here, they helped out with Mayor Goodway's hot air balloon.

Ryder: No time to lose, pups. The balloon race starts soon.

Rocky: Hmm. We need a patch. (gasping) I've got the perfect thing in my truck.

Ryder: How does the gas tank look, Marshall?

Marshall: The big question is how they smell. (sniffs the gas tank) I don't smell any gas leaks.

Deadpool: That means it's all ready to go, Ryder.

Ryder: Ready to test the flame?

Marshall: (barking out his cannon) Standing by.

Ryder: (testing the gas tank) All systems go.

Marshall: (barking)

Rocky: (barking) Glue. (using the glue on the old surf kite) This piece of Zuma's old surf kite will patch that hole up perfectly. (barking his claw away) Don't lose it, reuse it. (pressing the patch down)

Ryder: The patch is perfect, Rocky.

With that, Ryder tests the gas leaks and finally it works.

Mayor Goodway: Oh! It's working! I can't believe it works! Oh, I mean, of course it works.

Decoe: We fixed it!

Mayor Goodway: The PAW Patrol, Connor, Deadpool, Sonic and his friends fixed it.

Just then, Ryder spotted the other hot air balloons on the way.

Ryder: The other balloons are getting near Farmer Yumi's.

Sonic the Hedgehog: You're right, Ryder. Once they get to the silo, the race starts.

Ryder: We'd better hurry. I'll grab our flying gear and we're off.

Mayor Goodway: Time to get over my fear of heights once and for all.

Bocoe: You can do it, Miss Mayor Goodway, ma'am.

Mayor Goodway: (Inhaling deeply) I'm going to ride in this balloon and win this race!

However, Mayor Goodway accidentally ignites the flame and the hot air balloon begins to take off without Ryder and Connor.

Mayor Goodway: Oh, dear. Is the ground going down or am I going up?

Rocky and Infinite: The balloon!

Marshall and Cosmo: Grab it!

Mayor Goodway: (screaming)

Connor Williams: Mayor Goodway, come back!

Marshall manages to bite onto the rope just as Connor and Knuckles grabbed on to them, but they're being carried upward with it despite their super strenght as Ryder notices and runs after the balloon

Knuckles the Echidna: (as he and Marshall starts to lose his grip on the rope)

Marshall: Uh-oh!

Ryder: Connor! Marshall! Knuckles!

Knuckles the Echidna: Oh man! (starts to fall) AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Connor Williams: KNUCKS!! (lets go of the balloon and flies down fast to catch Knuckles)

Connor Williams: (caught him by his hand) I got you.

Knuckles the Echidna: Whoa! Thanks, Connor.

Marshall: (as Ryder caught him) Thanks, Ryder. Great catch. (licking him)

Just as Mayor Goodway is still rising, she shouts to Ryder and Blythe for help.

Mayor Goodway: Ryder, Connor, Wade, pups, Sonic, guys! Get me down!

Infinite: Don't worry, Mayor! I'm coming!

Connor Williams: Me too! Wade, you're with me!

Deadpool: You got it!

With that said, Infinite takes off in the air while Connor slams on his Ultimatrix and transforms into Jetray.

Jetray: Jetray! Yes! (Deadpool hops on his back)

As Ryder, Sonic and the others watched, Connor, Deadpool and Infinite went up to help Mayor Goodway.

Back at the Lookout, Skye and Chase use the periscope to watch the race

Skye: The race has started!

But then, they realize that Adventure Bay's balloon is not among those of the other participants.

Chase: I don't see our balloon.

Suddenly, Ryder's calling them on his pup tag.

Ryder: Skye, Paw Patrol emergency. Mayor Goodway took of without me. I need you to fly me to the balloon in your copter.

Skye: Let's take to the sky!

So, Skye is on her way to catch up to Connor, Wade and Infinite.

Meanwhile back in the air, Mayor Goodway covers her eyes due to being scared.

Mayor Goodway: I can't look! I can't look! But I must look.

As she tries to open her eyes, she'd start to scream instead.

Mayor Goodway: Oh, no! I better go higher. Whoa! (screaming)

The chicken: (peeping as it hopped onboard)

Mayor Goodway: Hi, little chicken. (laughing) Well, aren't you a cutie.

Mayor Goodway places the chicken in her open purse.

Man: Look, Mayor Humdinger, Mayor Goodway catching up.

Mayor Humdinger: Hmm. It looks like they got that dusty old bag of wind up in the air and the balloon is working too. Full steam ahead!

At the Lookout, Ryder is using their harness and attach it to Skye's helicopter using a cable while Tails starts his Tornado as Sonic and some of the others climb on the plane's wings.

Ryder: Let's go.

Miles "Tails" Prower: Mayor Goodway will need our help.

Skye: This pup's gotta fly.

Sticks the Badger: Here goes nothing.

Connor Williams: Let's do this! (slams on his Ultimatrix and transforms into Stinkfly)

Stinkfly: Stinkfly!

Soon, Ryder shortly finds Adventure Bay's balloon

Ryder: (gasping) There's Mayor Goodway, headed toward Seal Island.

Stinkfly: Come on! Let's go get her!

With Mayor Goodway is still terrified, she continues to cower and cover her eyes when she hears a helicopter on the way

Mayor Goodway: (with the helicopter and Tornado beating overhead) What's that? Ryder?! Guys?!

Stinkfly: And guests.

Mayor Goodway: Oh, yes!

But then, Mayor Goodway still covering her eyes

Mayor Goodway: Oh, no. I can't watch.

Skye: Ready, Ryder? I will swing you over to the balloon.

Miles "Tails" Prower: Ok, Sonic! Jump!

So, Skye and Tails catch the balloon and she swings Ryder while Sonic jumps from Tornado over to the basket

Ryder: Think you could give us a hand here, Mayor Goodway?

Sonic the Hedgehog: We literally kinda need it.

Mayor Goodway: (gasp as she gave her hand to help Ryder and Sonic)

Ryder: Great. Now pull us in a bit.

So, Mayor Goodway pulled them into her basket with her eyes covered.

Mayor Goodway: Oh, I did it! You did it. We did it.

Ryder: Good work. Now, let's see about this race.

Sonic the Hedgehog: Made it safe, Tails.

Ryder: See you at the finish line.

Skye: Roger that. Go win that trophy!

Sonic the Hedgehog: You can do it, Mayor Goodway!

Mayor Goodway: Thank you, Ryder. Thank you, Sonic. I'm so glad everything's okay now.

Ryder: Not exactly.

With that, Ryder increases the flame to ascend above it

Connor Williams: Hold on!

Ryder, Connor, Sonic and Mayor Goodway: Whoa!

Ryder: Close one.

Connor Williams: I really should have proven a point.

Ryder: All right, Mayor. Ready to win this race?

Mayor Goodway: The race? I almost forgot.

Ryder: Are you in?

Mayor Goodway: In it to win it!

Afterward, Ryder, Connor and Mayor Goodway focus their attention on the race

Meanwhile, Mayor Humdinger uses a telescope to observe his lagging competition, and begins to gloat of Foggy Bottom's upcoming victory

Mayor Humdinger: Ha-ha! Easiest race yet. Looks like another year on top for the town of Foggy Bottom.

Just then, a man is surprised that the big balloon is passed by

Mayor Humdinger: (snickering) What is it? A Man pointing to the big balloon What?! How did you get there?

Connor Williams: This race is on, fatty.

Mayor Goodway: Don't worry. We'll wait for you... At the finish line.

Connor Williams: That's right!

Mayor Goodway: (laughing)

Mayor Humdinger: Oh, I've never lost a race, and I'm not starting now!

Eggman Nega: Definitely!

Blaze the Cat: (angry) Oooh! That made me so mad! After them!

Just as they chased after Mayor Humdinger, they saw Jake's Mountain.

Mayor Goodway: There's Jake's Mountain.

Sticks the Badger: The finish line is on the other side.

Ryder: The winds are stronger up higher, and we'd have a better chance of winning.

Knuckles the Echidna: What do you say?

Infinite: Let's go.

Sonic the Hedgehog and Mayor Goodway: Up, up and away!

Mayor Goodway: Whoo-hoo!

Mayor Humdinger: They're beating us. Higher, higher!

So with that, Mayor Humdinger is frantic to catch up to them as Connor and Ryder see the finish line.

Ryder: There's the finish line.

Connor Williams: We can see it!

Deadpool: Come on, let's go!

Then, the pups, the rest of Sonic's friends, among other Adventure Bay citizens, stand cheering for Ryder, Connor, Deadpool, Sonic, the others and Mayor Goodway at the foot of the mountain.

Skye: Here they come!

Orbot: I can see them!

Cubot: Me too!

Rubble: Go, Adventure Bay!

E-123 Omega: You're gonna win!

Mayor Goodway: Hey, Jake!

Jake: Yo, cool.

Mayor Goodway: Oh, I have to prepare a victory speech.

Ryder: I hope you get to use it.

Just then, they saw Mayor Humdinger is passed by

Mayor Goodway: How did Humdinger get ahead of us?

Connor Williams: Never mind that! We're going to have to drop fast to get to the finish line first.

Ryder: Are you ready, Mayor?

Mayor Goodway: In it to win it!

Deadpool: BOOYAH!!

Mayor Humdinger: (laughing) Winning!

Connor Williams: Not this time, Humdinger!

Sonic the Hedgehog: Whoo-hoo! (as Mayor Goodway drops quickly)

Mayor Humdinger: What?!

And at last, the Adventure Bay balloon finished the race. Everyone cheering and barking

Rocky: Mayor Goodway and Adventure Bay win.

Mayor Goodway: Oh, we did it!

Mayor Humdinger: Ha, yes. (about to take the trophy but stop to see Sonic who was looking very crossily at him)

Sonic the Hedgehog: Hello-Hello-Hello.

Mayor Humdinger: Uh... I believe this trophy belongs to you this year, Mayor Goodway. (grumbling)

Mayor Goodway: No. It belongs to Ryder, Connor, Deadpool and their loyal PAW Patrol along with Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends. (sharing her trophy) This calls for a celebration.

Everyone: (cheering)

Soon, everyone was at the city hall to celebrate a victory barbecue.

Mayor Humdinger: (grumbling)

Mayor Goodway: Thanks, Ryder. You, Connor, Deadpool, the pups and your new friends really saved the day.

Ryder: Whenever you need a hand, just yelp for help.

Charmy Bee: Is that another catchphrase?

Ryder: It sure is, Charmy.

Mayor Goodway: Ryder, I've entered Adventure Bay into the Mayor's submarine race. You can be my captain.

Mayor Humdinger: Ha! Why bother? Foggy Bottom's sub is sure to win the mayor's race. Just like last year.

Mayor Goodway: I don't think so.

Miles "Tails" Prower: Today is a new day, Humdinger.

Mayor Humdinger: Well, today is the only day you'll beat Foggy Bottom at anything.

Mayor Goodway: (as they are arguing again) Oh, you think so?

Mayor Humdinger: I know so.

Mayor Goodway: We'll see about that.

Mayor Humdinger: Yes, we will.

Connor Williams: (scoffs) Oh, please.

Then, Ryder chuckles at the silliness of their rivalry.

Later that day at the Lookout, Ryder,Connor and Deadpool gathered the pups for Sonic and the others's initiation.

Ryder: Sonic and your friends, as a new team of heroic animal rescuers, do you promise to lend a palm whenever your help is needed?

Sonic: Yes,Ryder!

Silver the Hedgehog: You can count on us, Ryder.

Espio the Chameleon: We will do what we can.

E-123 Omega : To help out everyone.

E-102 Gamma: Who we care about.

Emerl: And be cheerful.

Cream the Rabbit: And be the greatest animal rescuers there is.

Cheese the Chao: Chao!

Ryder: And when we need you, you will hear it and come at once (gives all of them the communicators).

And soon they all celebrated this moment and threw a big welcome party.

Heeeeeeeeeello, my readers! I'm really sorry it took so long to publish this chapter, but I had some problems in my life and I temporary lost motivation to continue this book, but here I am again. At first I wanted to do a scene where Connor, Wade, Sonic and his friends will be fighting Eggman and all his allies, but I couldn't bring myself to do so.
