The End. (Happy Alt)
(First part is a repeat of the original ending, I'll add a marker if you don't want to read it again)
Izuku's POV:
Its been a month since Ochako first confessed to me behind the school, while we haven't been the most active couple, we haven't been boring by any means, about a week into our relationship, she introduced me to her parents, who quickly came to accept me, although appearing a bit reserved at first. After this, I introduced her to my mother, who instantly accepted her fully, and looked like she was going to explode with happiness.
While walking to school together, Ochako strikes up a point. "Izuku" she says "when are we going to tell our classmates about us?". I look at her questioning face and smile, "If you want we could do it today, before class starts.". she smiles happily, "Sure!" she exclaims, and we make our way to school.
We enter the class at the same time as always, we come from roughly the same direction so this is to be expected by our classmates. "You sure you want to do this?" whisper in her ear, and she nods, a determined look on her face. We walk up to the front of the class and stand side by side, holding hands behind the teachers desk where nobody can see it. I let out a loud cough and it grabs the attention of most of our chatting classmates, who look at us expectantly. "Its probably about time I tell you all, that pretty much ever since I got out of hospital, me and Ochako have been dating.".
I keep the statement quick and simple. it is followed by a stunned silence from the room for a few moments before Momo lets out a loud sigh and says "About time" and the room erupts into chatter. "Only a month? I thought that had been a thing for much longer" Kaminari chattered to Ojiro, "Yeah, me too" she agrees back. Me and Ochako stand stunned at the head of the class, I don't think either of us were expecting this. But we look at each other, relieved, and take our seats and Aizawa slumps in and begins the class.
Its a rather hot day, and me, as well as the rest of the class soon find ourselves slumped over, on the verge of sleep, Aizawa long since dead to the world on his chair. After the final hour is up and the bell rings, we all quietly gather our things and make our way out, as to not disturb our sleeping teacher. As always, me and Ochako walk together, enjoying each others company.

Getting a few cheery waves from departing classmates, and even a hoot from a smiling Kirishima, we make our way off the school grounds, and make our way towards our houses. looking up I smile, the sky completely blue, the sun beaming down, hardly a breeze, truly a beautiful day. "What are you smiling about?" I hear the cheery voice by my side ask. "Oh nothing" I answer, "Just thinking about how lucky I am is all". Looking over I am pleased to see a slight blush on her cheeks, alongside an embarrassed smile, it's different, compared to the tomato faced girl of the past, but I still love it.
"Since its such a lovely day, how about a detour in the park?" I suggest, getting a resounding "Sure!" in response. Turning off our usual route, we set foot in the wide, sunny expanse of the park, the blossoms in full bloom, showering pink petals slowly from the trees as we walk down the path. Setting ourselves on a bench, we relax, watching the petals flow around us in the summer sun. "This is a perfect day." Ochako quietly put, as I turn my head towards her, my sharp green eyes meeting with her soft brown one's. "Yes, it is" I murmur, as I begin to lean in, while she does the same. And as I close my close my eyes, I feel her lips meet mine.
9 years later
"And we would like to give Deku, the smiling hero, in recognition of his astounding achievements the national hero award!" Boomed the presenter, the crowd erupting into cheers and applause. I rise from my table, the tuxedo fitting around my tall, muscular form firmly, and walk up to the stage, and happily hold the trophy given to me, as the presenter raises the microphone, and sets it in front of me, the crowd hushing themselves in preparation. And as silence falls upon the hall, I look back to my table, which still seated 3 people.
First there was Ochako, tears gushing down her face, flowing past an unbelievably wide smile, next to her, my Mum, in a similar state, floating tissues towards herself to try and dry her eyes, and finally, his hair greying, walking stick leant against his chair, was Toshinori Yagi, All Might, the former symbol of peace, a title which I have now long since held. And with a smile on his face, he gives me one singular nod, and as clear as though he had shouted it in my ear, I knew what I had to do.
Adjusting my collar, and bending slightly to reach the microphone, I open my mouth, "Well, I don't know what to say, but, I think I should start with this.", turning to my side, I hand the trophy back to the presenter, who already seems to know that this would happen, before turning back to the microphone, "I'm sorry, but I can't accept this, however, I would like to say a few words if you don't mind. I never became a hero for fame and glory, to put it simply, I'm just an overgrown fanboy, someone who wants to save people with a smile" I glance at All Might, now beaming and trying to stifle a laugh, before looking at Ochako, Who looks dumbstruck. "And while I'd love to give you all a nice long speech about the human spirit and what-not, there's only so much time, and I've got something important I need to do."
If it was silent before, I don't know what this is. I can practically hear the focusing of the cameras, broadcasting live all over the country. "Well, I would like to invite Uravity, the floating hero up to the stage!". Along with an applause, the shocked looking Ochako rose up in her beautiful dress, and came to a stop next to me, looking slightly embarrassed. "Well, I'm not great with words, but you've been at my side through thick and thin, so I think its time you get something in return." So as the crowd gasps, and my heart threatens to burst out my chest, I get down onto one knee and face her, pulling a small box out my pocket and opening it I speak.
"Ochako Uraraka, will you marry me?"
Authors note:
Well, I suppose I've finally finished this. And while I know this is kind of cliché, I would like to thank each and every one of you. When I first started writing this nearly a year ago, it was just a little project I thought of, a way to pass the time, and I was elated to get 20 reads, but this is just about to hit 20'000 reads, and all I can say is, well... Thank you
I hope you enjoyed it.
