HAPPY POKEMON DAY EVERYBODY!

In honor of today, I was tagged to answer these questions by GottaReadEmAllClub in their book, Pokemon Book Reviews! Definitely check them & I invite all of you readers to do this tag as well!

1. If you could have a Pokemon I'm real life, which would it be and why?

I would love to have an Eevee with me, just because it's so cute and badass! It's not too big or small so it can easily travel with me everywhere, & I've always thought Eevees were cool, but never really expressed enough appreciation towards them.

2. Why is Pokemon special for you?

Pokemon has always been a big part of my childhood. But once I began middle school, I stopped following pokemon, which turned out to be one of the biggest mistakes of my life. I would miss out on the second half of Sinnoh (anime), all of Unova (though I heard the anime was terrible, but that the games were pretty good!), and all of Kalos. It wasn't until Pokemom Go came out about 2 years ago I rediscovered how much Pokemon was, and how important it is to me. It's important because it would take me away from my stressful world to the word of Pokemon where I could be the hero, the occasional villain, or simply just explore. I've hung on to it ever since.

3. What's your favorite Pokemom related memory?

My favorite memory has to be the very first time I beat the main story of a Pokemon game (FireRed) and became champion. I still remember my team. Charizard, Lapras, Butterfree, Pidgeot, Jolteon, & Nidoqueen.

4. What Pokemon games have you played, do you have a favorite, and why?

Funfact: I've made it my goal to own one game of each gen (including remakes), plus it's "alternate" dimension verison. So for example for the Sinnoh games, I own Diamond, and Platinum. The only games I'm currently missing are Red, Crystal, and Emerald.

I have only fully played through FireRed, and I'm currently trying to beat Ultra Sun, & Platinum, though I have started Pearl, SoulSilver, and X, so I can't really say I have a favorite yet. :(

5. Do you watch the anime? If so, what's your favorite season?

YES I DO (besides Pokemom Black & White). I recently finished Pokemon XYZ, and I honestly have to say that is currently my favorite. Though I did have some problems with dialogue (it's watch it dubbed. That's probably why...), I just loved it. The battle scenes were epic, especially the pokemon league final. I loved watching Serena crush on Ash, but also enjoyed watching her transformation and develop as a character. But during the summer I do plan on rewatching the Pokemon Advance/Battle Frontier & Pokemom Diamond and Pearl so it might change, we'll see. (I was told to stay away from Black and White. What do you guys think?)

6. Are you a shipper? If so, what's your OTP?

Yes I am. To be honest, for the longest time, I shipped Ash and May together. It was mainly because of the scene from the Pokemon Movie: Pokemon Ranger and the Sea Temple or something like that. And in the scene Ash locked May and Pikachu in like this mini sub (they're underwater) to save them while he tried to save the temple from being lost at sea forever. I just saw a special connect between them, and was a huge fan. Keyword: Was. But then I saw Pokemon XYZ, and I have to say I'm an amourshipper (if I had to choose). Though I have to admit Ash and Dawn look good together. So for an amourshipper, I'm very open to other ships.

7. Do you have a favorite Pokefic?

Oh pues, I have a lot that I really enjoyed. But if I had to choose the top 3 that really left an impact and actually movitated me to write my own, they have to be:

The Hacker by Dragons_Rose
(The chapter with the Lara Del Rey song gave me goosebumps. Beautifully written overall.)

Destiny Rebirth by DestinyProduction
(I had a lot of fun reading it, & just enjoyed it so much.)

(Shoutout to one that shall remain unnamed because I forgot the title & I can no longer find on Wattpad, so I'm assuming it was deleted :(. But it was the first Pokefic I read on Wattpad & just got me hooked)

Daddy's Girl: An Amourshipping Story & Amourshipping Christmas Short Story: One Last Dance, both by amourfangirl1
(I know those are 2 different stories, but they're both short so I just squeezed them together)

(Daddy's Girl in my opinion is an orginal story that I haven't read before, & it was cute & well written & really hope to see Lara and her friends a bit older, or at least after their first journey.)

(One Last Dance is a feel good story that kinda solidified my shipping between Ash & Serena. & who doesn't love a good love/Christmas story?!)
