BERKSHIRE, UNITED KINGDOM. JUNE 2021.

Before they knew it, their time at school had ended. All four of them were sat in their final exam, waiting for the moment the invigilator told them time was up.

All four took their studies seriously, despite them prioritising other things in their lives. Out of the four of them, Jaxon was definitely the most academic. That wasn't to say that the group weren't smart, despite Jacob and Thierry constantly travelling for their races, they still managed to maintain decent grades.

"Time's up, please put your pens down and stop writing."

"We're free!" Jacob cheered as he rushed out the exam hall, his three best friends following behind him.

"How weird is it that we're never going to be in there again." Jax commented.

"It's strange, we're all going on to different things now." Sophie hummed.

There was a moment of silence. These four friends had been around each other almost every day for the last twelve years but now they were moving on, onto their different pathes.

Jax and Sophie were both moving to the States to go to college, with Jax getting an American Football scholarship in Michigan and Sophie getting accepted to go to Juilliard. After successful rookie seasons in Formula Three, Thierry and Jacob had been signed onto McLaren's driver development programme and would be racing in the FIA F2 championships resulting in more travelling.

It was a bittersweet moment, they were moving onto bigger and better things, things that would ultimately bring them closer to their goals. Yet it was still sad that they would be leaving each other.

"We'll see each other, whenever we have time," Jacob reassured, "plus you've got the power of phones and social media."

The group shared a smile, they had faith in their friendship. After all, twelve years of friendship doesn't just go down the drain like that.

"Enough of this talk," Thierry said, lightening the mood, "let's celebrate!"
