Sick With Love- Team Rancher
Jimmy's Perspective-
"I just don't know how to ask him out! I mean, does he even want to be in a relationship with me?" Jimmy coughed.
He was sick and laying on his couch, talking with Grian who was taking care of him since his mom was at the store picking up meds and Grian's mother was at work.
"I was supposed to pick him up today so we could hang out and then I would ask him out. It would've been perfect!" Jimmy felt like crying.
Mostly because he wasn't feeling good and he wasn't getting what he wanted to get done, done.
"Tango doesn't have that much time left here, and soon he'll be gone."
Grian nodded, texting someone.
"Are you even listening or are you just on twitter?" Jimmy asked, folding his arms to show how upset he was.
Grian rolled his eyes, "Yeesh, sorry, I was just texting Scar to go pick up Tango and bring him here."
Jimmy felt the heat rise to his face, "He can't! I'm sick and I can't talk to him like this!"
"Well, it's not like you're going to talk to him when you're well either!"
Jimmy pouted and Grian laughed, "Look, this is for your own good."
Jimmy coughed and then yawned.
"Yeah, you should sleep while we wait for them. You got about half an hour until they arrive." Grian said, getting up and moving to give Jimmy room to stretch out, "I'll wake you up when they arrive."
"Thanks." Jimmy mumbled, turning over and closing his eyes before snoring softly.
-
"Tim."
Jimmy heard, but he didn't want to wake up.
He was having such a good sleep.
"Tim, they're here."
Jimmy groaned and turned over, blinking, trying to adjust his eyes to the light.
He heard laughing and saw Tango and Scar.
Jimmy's face turned red from embarrassment.
"Hey Jim." Scar said, waving, "How're you feeling?"
Jimmy shrugged, "Like shit."
They laughed.
"Sorry, Tango, I couldn't pick you up." He said before coughing.
"No, it's fine, I wouldn't want you driving like this anyway." Tango said.
Jimmy sat up and started swaying a bit.
"Ugh, my stomach doesn't feel good." Jimmy said, putting his hand on his stomach and groaning.
Tango sat down next to him, and Jimmy laid his head on his shoulder.
He was very loopy, tired, and not 100%. His brain left him a while ago and he didn't really know what he was doing or saying.
Grian and Scar left to go find some Advil or Tums to help with his stomach, leaving Jimmy and Tango alone.
Jimmy scoffed in his head.
Yeah, I'm sure they don't just want to leave me alone with Tango and make me ask him out.
He looked up and Tango and saw that he was about as red as his glasses.
"A-are you okay?" Jimmy asked, "You look really red."
Tango laughed nervously, "Y-yeah! I'm okay. Just... tired."
Jimmy sat up and made eye contact with Tango, "Being tired doesn't make you red unless you're sick like me."
Tango looked incredibly nervous and said, "Er- you probably need some water. I don't think you know what you're saying."
He got up and Jimmy grabbed his arm.
"Please, don't go. I'm sick and I need a comfort object."
Tango looked even redder.
"Look. You don't know what you're saying right now. You're sick. This- you're going to think this is stupid tomorrow because you don't like me and you're not flirting with me and- "
"Who said I didn't like you?" Jimmy asked, still very loopy.
Tango looked shocked and stared at Jimmy, speechless.
"Who said I didn't like you?" Jimmy repeated, swaying from left to right, trying to stand up.
"No, no, no!" Tango helped Jimmy sit back down, "You're not going anywhere. You're probably going to fall."
Jimmy looked grumpy, "Well I'm sorry. I'm sure you would do the same if the guy you like is about to leave the room."
Tango was taken aback.
Just then, Scar and Grian walked back into the room with some Tums and a glass of water.
"Tim, your mom's going to be back any minute now with the medication that you were prescribed with." Grian said, handing him two tablets.
"She said you could have this though. And we need to get you a bag in case you throw up." Grian said, looking around.
Tango got up and grabbed a plastic bag, handing it to Jimmy who coughed once more.
Jimmy took the medicine and Scar handed him the water.
"Make sure to drink all of that. When you finished it, tell Grian and he can refill it."
Scar then turned to Tango, "Sorry, do you want to head out to the town now?"
Tango looked from Scar, to Jimmy, who looked very sad and pleading him to stay, and sighed.
"I'll stay." Tango smiled and Scar winked at him, clearly knowing why.
"Yay!" Jimmy exclaimed hugging his crush.
Tango sat down next to Jimmy who hugged his arm and laid down on him, soon falling asleep.
Grian and Scar laughed, and Tango shot them death glares.
"Don't. You. Dare." He said as Scar took out his phone.
Tango was about to launch for him but realized Jimmy had locked him in place.
"Come on, smile!" Scar mocked and Grian cackled.
A little while later, Jimmy's mother returned.
"Sorry, that took so long. I went to the wrong store and- "
She paused when she saw her son laying on Tango's shoulder.
After a minute silence, Grian piped up.
"Do you have the medicine for Jimmy? He's been getting really loopy and waking up. I couldn't get him to fall asleep until Tango came." Grian said, making Jimmy's mother smile.
"Ah, you're Tango. Yes, I've heard a lot about you from Jimmy. He talks very fondly of you."
She said, changing her outlook on Tango in an instant.
"You seem like a nice fellow. I'm glad Jimmy's found a good one." She said, shaking Tango's hand.
Tango blushed, "Er- we're not dating."
"Not yet." Scar said and Grian broke out in giggles.
