Doc's Perspective-

"Wait, why do you think it's your fault?" Tango asked, interrupting his friend's rant.

"Because I didn't apologize to him, and now he's in trouble. I swear I've been acting like a kid!" Doc complained as they walked in the crowded halls.

"I still don't understand." Tango said slowly before walking a different direction, "I gotta go, but I want to know more about this at lunch!"

Doc nodded and smiled before turning and walking towards the gym.

His smile faded as he walked into the changing rooms.

It's all my fault. I should've apologized earlier but no. I wish I could help him. Now he's getting in trouble because he shouted at Tina for her stupid rumors!

The gym teacher, Coach Hanlon, rallied everyone up and told them to do two laps around the track.

"Then we'll see if we have time for dodgeball." He said and the class cheered.

Doc wasn't really in the mood for anything though, but hopefully jogging around the track could take his mind off things.

Doc was halfway through his second lap when Ren joined the class.

Doc slowed down so he could jog next to him.

"Hey." He nodded and Ren didn't respond.

He wore a blank expression that showed he didn't want to be here.

"Er- what happened with Mr. Brinson?"

Ren sighed, "I'm in trouble."

"What?! But it was Tina's fault!"

"She got in trouble as well." Ren said, looking pissed, "She got told off for spreading rumors and I got told off for growling at her and going full wolf mode. He's going to call both of our parents, but I'm pretty sure Tina's going to get a parent conference."

Doc scoffed, "She deserves it."

Ren nodded and then opened his mouth before closing it again.

"What?"

Ren flushed red before diving into silence.

"What, is there something else that happened?"

"I just..." Ren took a deep breath, "I'm sorry."

"What are you sorry for? It's my fault."

"How is it your fault?"

"Because I- "

"It's my fault. I shouted at you for no reason."

"You had a reason, you're mad about the rumors."

Ren shrugged.

"So Tina can't tell anymore rumors now?" Doc asked, changing the subject.

"Basically. Well, at least not in science class. She's still going to. Guarantee she's going to get revenge on me for getting her into a parent teacher conference."

"But we know the truth."

"That's not going to stop the rumors though."
Ren said before death staring some girls who were pointing at them and giggling.

"Oh, fuck off!" Ren shouted at them, and they jogged off, giggling.

Doc slowed down and pointed towards the gym, "I'm going to go inside, that was my second lap."

Ren nodded, "I still need to do one more, see you in a bit."

And he jogged off.

Doc walked over to the nearby water fountain and took a sip of water.

When he straightened up, he caught a glimpse of Ren, and he felt his face heat up.

Doc froze, still watching as Ren ran by himself.

I'm just warm. Doc thought. I don't... I don't like him.

Ren then made eye contact with Doc and winked at him, making Doc blush even more.

He shook his head and walked back inside; his thoughts were racing.

A few minutes later, Ren walked back inside.

He drank some water before walking over to his friend.

"Are you okay? You were staring off into space out there." Ren said.

"Er- yeah! I was just...thinking."

"About what?"

"Just...how are we going to stop these rumors?"

Ren elbowed him softly, "I have an idea, but it only depends on what cards Tina plays."
"What's your plan?"

"I'll explain later. It all depends on what happens."

"What- what do you think will happen?"

"Well, I'm sure Tina will post a lot more stuff
about me and you now that she got in trouble."
Ren said, "I'm sure she's going to be taking everything she can and turn it into a rumor."

Doc got nervous and Ren patted his back.

"But don't worry, I have the perfect plan."
