Friends Forever- Team Rancher
Friends Forever- Jimmy's Perspective
"Grian come on." Jimmy whined.
"Give me a sec!" Grian hissed, taking out his library card.
"We've been here for a literal hour!" Jimmy watched his short friend scan 3 good sized books.
"Look, Scar was busy, and you wanted to hang out soooo." Grian shrugged, taking his books.
Jimmy rolled his eyes.
Grian was a couple of inches shorter than his friend Jimmy.
They've been friends for years and lived in the same apartment, so they hung out a lot.
Jimmy was a dirty blonde who wore a white shirt, blue jacket, and black pants.
Meanwhile, Grian had light brown hair, wore a red sweater, and pants.
"Look, Tim, we can go to where you want next." Grian said.
"Great! Let's go!" Jimmy grabbed his friend's hand and ran off.
"WAIT! Where're we going?!" Grian asked, yanking his hand back.
"To the docks." Jimmy said like it was obvious.
"Not when I'm carrying books we're not." Grian said.
"Come on, let's drop these off at our apartment." Grian turned and started walking in another direction.
"Griannnnnnnnnn." Jimmy whined.
"Well, I'm sorry, but I want to actually return these instead of having a year overdue one." Grian stuck his tongue out.
Jimmy folded his arms in a pouting way and unlocked his car.
Grian got in the passenger seat and Jimmy strapped in.
"Alright, our apartment, then the docks." Jimmy said, backing out.
Grian nodded, "Oh! And just so you know, my mom's planning on meeting some of her friends later, so I might have to leave early. She wants me to meet their nephew. He's staying with them for the summer and doesn't know anyone here."
Jimmy snorted, "Sounds boring."
"Tell me about it." Grian agreed.
-
"Hey mom." Grian said, "Just dropping off- "
"Oh Grian! Perfect timing!" His mother interrupted him.
Grian put his books down on a neighboring table and his mother grabbed his shoulders and led him to the living room.
"This is Ted and Sam, I told you about them, and their nephew Tango! He's staying here for the summer. Doesn't know anyone. Could you be friends?"
His mother said that all really fast.
"Uh- what?" Jimmy asked, smiling nervously.
"This is Grian, my son." Grian's mother said to the two other adults, "And his friend, Jimmy. Though, he likes to call him Timmy. We're neighbors."
Grian waved to Tango.
Jimmy and Tango made eye contact and Jimmy felt his face go red.
All sound drowned out.
They didn't break eye contact.
That was until Grian side kicked Jimmy, grabbing his attention.
Tango also looked back at his aunt and uncle, blushing a bit.
"How about Tango hangs out with Grian and Jimmy? They can show him around and stuff." Grian's mother pitched.
"Eh, why not? Tang doesn't know the town and it would be nice for him to get to know some people." Ted said, patting Tango's back.
Tango got up, looked at Grian and Jimmy nervously and Grian's mother said, "Jimmy, dear, would you mind if you show him around? You can drive around, get ice cream, hang out at the docks, stuff like that. I don't mean to interrupt your plans."
Jimmy shook his head, "No problem, Mrs. Gotts, it's fine."
Grian's mother smiled and the left.
They all got into Jimmy's car and Tango said awkwardly,
"Er- hi."
They broke out in laughter.
"Nice ice breaker." Grian said.
Jimmy rolled his eyes, "Like you have a better one."
Tango looked from Grian to Jimmy.
"So, you guy shave been friends for a while?"
They nodded.
Tango looked really nervous and looked out his window.
"All my friends are back at home." He whispered.
"Well, duh." Grian said, punching Tango lightly in the arm, "But you got friends here now too."
Tango smiled.
"Thanks..."
"Course. No need to be nervous. Timmy's always nervous as well." Grian said, making Jimmy flush with embarrassment.
