Soon after the gunshot was heard the police reached the room with Aryan and Vardhan. The police took the gun from Nirman before he could shoot Sanyukta and handcuffed him. Aryan freed Sanyukta from all the ropes and Sanyukta ran towards Randhir who was groaning in pain and was lying in blood.

Sanyukta (crying) : Aryan call the ambulance fast. Its all my fault Randhir i shouldn't have taken this on my own. I am sorry. Just keep your eyes open and you will be fine.

Aryan : The ambulance came.

Soon they reached the hospital and Randhir was taken to the operation theatre. Sanaya had also reached the hospital in the meantime.

Sanyukta and the others were sitting outside the operation theatre on the bench.

Sanaya : If you would have told us about all this to us Sanyukta then Randhir wouldn't have been in this condition.

Aryan : I didn't expect this from you Sanyukta you should have taken care.

Sanaya : Why do you have to be so stubborn and heroic all the time Sanyukta!? You knew what kind of person he is. Only if you would have taken care Randhir wouldn't have been in this life or death situation.

Sanyukta (crying) : I am sorry i didn't mean to mess all this up.. i... i really am sorry.

Sanaya (crying) : This sorry means nothing cause the damage is already done.

Soon the doctor came out of the room with a sad face.

Sanyukta : How is he?? He is fine right??

Doctor : I am sorry we couldn't save him. The bullet had passed through his heart and he stopped responding to the treatment. We are sorry.

Doctor gave them one last glance of sympathy and walked out of there. Sanaya Aryan and Vardhan all had tears in their eyes. Sanyukta with slow steps walked inside the room and saw Randhir's body lying lifeless.

Sanyukta (crying) : You can't leave me like this all alone. Who will taunt me for my clumsiness and all the times when i am late or whenever i do slme stupid mistakes or whenever i will make people worry. Wake up.. i said wake up Mr. Randhir Singh Shekhawat. Wake up. You can't leave me like this. No... wake up... (shouting) Noooo.

Sanyukta fainted saying this.

Sanyukta could hear murmurs around her and she woke up with a jolt to find herself in her own room. She looked around and found Sanaya and Aryan sitting beside her. She hugged Aryan and started crying.

Sanyukta : Randhir... where is he?? Tell me where is he!! Tell me he is fine...

Before she could say anything Randhir walked inside the room and had a confused look on her face looking at Sanyukta crying and that too calling her name. Sanyukta breking the hug looked at Randhir and her eyes widened.

Sanyukta : You... you are fine.. then why did the doctor tell that you.. you.. died.

Sanaya : Shh.. shh.. i guess you just had a bad dream because of all this trauma.

Sanyukta : But he was shot. Right??

Aryan : Nirman did fire the gun but before he could fire Randhir had kicked his hand as Nirman's attention was on you and so the bullet was shot on the ceiling and after that Randhir pushed him on the ground and beat him black and blue. Soon the cops came and they took Nirman away and now he is behind the bars and is not gonna get away from there any time soon.

Sanaya : Hmm... and when you knew all this is going to happen why didn't you tell us about that Sanyukta.

Randhir : Right.. why do you have to always be a hero and if you had told us you wouldn't have been in such a mess.

Aryan : He is totally right. I already knew it was a mistake to let go those bodyguards and now you will be in protection 24 hours cause now i don't trust you with your safety.

Sanyukta : What.. but i am fine now.

Randhir : Fine.. yeah.. we can totally see it. You had been knocked out for like 3 hours and made all of us worry. And you could have called us or anyone else if your car wasnt working and the transmitter thing just tops it all.. when you know you were in freaking danger... why can't you just tell us.

Sanyukta : How do you know??

Randhir : Vardhan Sir told us.

Aryan : Now you will work only from home.. you don't need to come to the office and if ita the most important thing on earth you will call me and i will pay you a visit.

Sanyukta : You can't do that.

Aryan : I can totally do that. I am the boss.

Sanyukta : Okay... so my boss needs to get few things go in his thick skull that i am fine and he can't keep bounded in these four walls for God's sake. And if i hadn't cared for my safety i wouldn't have even gone to Vardhan sir. And i actually didn't know who was behind all this otherwise i wouldn't have came to you. So my boss should stop acting like a stupid ape and should start thinking reasonably.

Randhir : We are thinking reasonably and this is good for you.

Sanyukta : God.. why did i even wake up i was best asleep.

Sanaya : I think Sanyukta is right. Now Nirman is gone and we have nothing to worry about it.

Sanyukta : Thank god!! I have someone who has brains here.

Aryan & Randhir : What do you mean?

Sanyukta : Nothing. And i am going to come to office and i will have no bodyguards around me otherwise i won't talk to you.

Aryan : Fine.. but promise me you will take care and would tell me about the littlest problem you have.

Sanyukta : I promise.

Sanaya : Okay.. i would suggest that we go and let her take rest as the doctor has advised her to. And Randhir i guess you have brought the medications just give it to her.

Randhir (smiles) : Surely.

Aryan : You guys have a holiday tomorrow both from work and college. We will pay you a visit tomorrow.

Sanyukta : Thank you!

Randhir then walked Aryan and Sanaya out of the house. Whereas Sanyukta was sitting in her room gazing at her ceiling. Soon Randhir walked in her room with the medicines and a glass of water.

Randhir : Take them.

Sanyukta took the medicines and took them quietly. After she had drunk the water Randhir took the glass from her and was walking out of the room when Sanyukta's voice stopped him.

Sanyukta : Can you.. can you stay here with me tonight.

Randhir turned around and looked at her blankly. Randhir was contemplating that what he heard was right or not and taking his silence as a no Sanyukta said further.

Sanyukta : I.. i am sorry.. i am just being unreasonable.. its okay.. you can go back to your room.. i am sorry.

Randhir : Its okay.. i understand. I will stay with you here tonight. I will just go and keep the glass and come back.

Sanyukta nodded.

Soon Randhir returned in just black tracks and vest. He was looking around for a place for him to sleep when Sanyukta shifted on her bed.

Sanyukta (softly) : You can sleep next to me. I dont mind.

Randhir slipped himself beside her and covered both of them with duvet. He then looked at her face and saw her already looking at him. He touched the cheek where Nirman had slapped which was bruised because of the slaps. Sanyukta hissed in pain lightly.

R : Does it pain badly (stroking her cheeks lightly)

S : No just a little bit.

Randhir picked up a tube of cream from the night stand.

R : I will apply this wait.

Randhir clenched his jaws seeing Sanyukta in pain because of the bruise.

R : Why can't you just be a simple girl like others... why do you have to go all Superwoman for the greatest things in which everyone think of taking precautions. Why do you do this everytime?? Why are you not scared for yourself?? Dont you know how much it hurts others to see you like this!!

S : Cause i know i have one protective brother and a heroic roommate who would help me no matter what whenever i am in need without caring for themselves.

R : Yeah.. i know i am the heroic one. I mean the looks i get from girls says all.

S : Ohh sorry Mr. Shekhawat i forgot to mention that he is quite egoistic too.

Randhir (chuckles) : Yeah.. that he is... but on a serious note why do you do this everytime??

S : Let's just stop talking about it. I had my reasons and i did what i thought was right then so lets just forget it and sleep.

R : Okay!

There was a silence for few minutes when Randhir spoke again.

R : Sanyukta!?

S : Hmm!?

R : Can we start new and be friends again.

Sanyukta turned towards him and looked at him.

S (smiled) : Sure.. lets start new.

Randhir smiled and hugged her and then soon both were asleep in each others embrace.
