So I know that i have been not updating since long time but things kept happening and i just got busy with them not having a good time to write the book. I hope you all understand.

It was friday morning, everyone was ready and luggage was already kept in the car. They sat around the dining table waiting for the chits to unfold so that they could know which person will be going in which car.

Four chits of both Randhir and Joy's name were put in a bowl making a total of eight and giving everyone a fair chance of being in any car.

Soon chits were given to everyone. The only thing that was going on in Sanyukta's mind was to go in Joy's car so that she could put some distance between Randhir and her. That was the only thing she wanted. She didn't want the trip to go all bizarre for her. It was a weekend out and all she wanted was zero problems and no worries whereas all Ishika wanted was to be with Randhir so that she could get closer to him and make him happy.

The chits were opened at once to discover the names. Kritika squealed and hugged Joy.

Kritika : Yayy! Baby... I am coming with you in your car.

Joy : Yes... now the drive will be fun. (Kissing her forehead)

Tanya : Lovebirds! Even i will be in your car so don't make me puke with your cheesy stuff.

Kritika : As if... i have seen you and Vishad practically eating each other's face during the lunch times... and none of my complains stop you both.

Tanya's face turns red hearing this and she swats her arm on Kritika's shoulder when Vishad interrupts there banter grinning.

Vishad : Well lucky you cause you will see our affection even today cause even my chit said Joy's name so even i am in your car.

Tanya's eyes widen and she throws her arm around Vishad grinning who tightened his arms around her more. Tanya then looked at Kritika and showed her tongue to her and turned to Sanyukta and Ishika.

Tanya : So... what are the names in your chits???

Vishad : Obviously it will be Randhir as there are already three people in our car.

Joy : So what! We had made four tickets so there are chances any of them could get my name as i am that wonderful.

Sanyukta : Uhh.. i guess i should join you all and leave these two to drive there together so that they can have privacy you know.

Kritika : Oh come on babe!! Just open the chit and tell us whose name you have got i am sure you will be bored with these two (pointing at Tanya and Vishad) at the back with you and if at all you get Joy's name then there is no harm you know you are our first priority our main so open up the chit but still it can happen that one of you get Joy's name and if it is Ishika we will getto know her better and for God's sake these two have gotten enough privacy for past week. Am i right or am i right guys?

Randhir : Yes you are right Kritika. Now open up the chit Ishika we are already late.

Ishika : Uhh.. yeah.

Ishika opens up her chit and sees the name and a look of sheer disappointment grows on her face making Tanya and Kritika to smirk at each other.

Kritika : What is it??

Tanya : Oh come on i will only see it i can'thandle so much suspense.

Tanya snatched the chit from her hand and took it so she can read it.

Tanya : It's Joy. So even she is coming with us. That leaves Sanyukta and Randhir who will be coming in the other car together.

Sanyukta : What!!

Sanyukta opened her chit quickly and gasped the name that she was dreading since this idea had came up was on her chit "Randhir" she said quietly whereas he smirked like he had won some trophy as that was the only thing he had wanted whereas Ishika was burning with jealousy as this wasn't the way how she wanted the whole trip to start. It hasn't even started and it felt to her like she was going to fight a lost battle and that was definitely not what she wanted.

Sanyukta : I...I.... th...think it would be better if Ishika and I switch places that would make them both happier.

Tanya : No it was decided early only that we will go to the cars as per chits and if we don't follow these simple rules it is not good.

Kritika : Exactly and i am sure it will help us know Ishika more and i think even she would like to know the people who is friends with her boyfriend. Right Ishika?? (giving her the sweetest smile so that she couldn't deny her.)

Ishika : Uhhm.. yes i am fine with going into Joy's car it's just a drive anyways.

Tanya : Yay!! That's the spirit. Lets go guys we will hit it.

Tanya and Kritika high-fived each other and smiled at each other with an evil glint remembering what they have done.

●●● Flashback ●●●

Tanya : Have you seen Sanyukta from the past few days she looks so sad and deranged.

Kritika : I know babe and we even know the reason but we cant do anything about it. If Randhir is happy we can't just jeopardise his relationship and you know that.

Tanya : But do you really think he is. I mean with Sanyukta i have seen him even if they are fighting then also his eyes used to have that shine that glint of happiness whuch was i am sure missing that day. Hell.. it took him long to even say that Ishika is his girlfriend that the woman herself had to finish that sentence and clearly i didn't see that happiness in him during the introduction or the proud feeling whichi see Joy has while he is introducing you.

Kritika : Or when Vishad is introducing you. Yeah.. i felt the same but can we do they need to sort the matter between them. We don't even know the gist of it so how can we even take any actions.

Tanya : Yeah... but we can take actions to bring Randhir and Sanyukta closer to see where it leads what say??

Kritika : What do you have going on in that evil mind of yours??

Tanya (giggling) : Oh you will love it.

Kritika : Tell me!!

Tanya : Okay so listen we are going on that trip so we will suggest to go name wise. I mean we will suggest that we go in Joy's and Randhir's car and make chits of there names and whoever gets the name of one of the two will go in that car. Then we will make the chits and make sure that all of them have Joy's name except one which will have Randhir's and we will mark it in such a way that we give it to Sanyukta. We won't let anyone pick chits we will give them and if they insist on picking we will remove that chit from bowl and give it to her in any way by distracting her. You know we are smart to do that very well.

Kritika : And if we get caught then??? Or Sanyukta refuses to go with him cause as much as i know she will do that.

Tanya : We won't listen to her excuses and rest let it be in future. Its a risk worth taking. I just want her to happy just support the plan. Pretty please.

Kritika : Okay. Only for her.

Tanya : Yessss!!

Soon everyone started filling up the cars and Sanyukta walked inside the car in pure daze. All she wanted to do right now was cry at her fate. The person from whom she was trying to get away from now she had to go with him to this long drive, enduring him. The car roared to life making her come out of her daze and she looked up to see Joy smiling from the other car at Randhir and nodding at him telling him that they will meet there.

The drive was one and a half hours long but Sanyukta knew that this will be the longest one for her. Being stuck up with Randhir was the last thing she wanted but guess what it seemed that her guardian angel was on some vacation and didn't seem too keen on accepting her requests and wishes.

Soon Randhir drove through the roads of the city but it felt like he was driving painfully slow but Sanyukta didn't want to point it out when she heard Randhir chuckle.

Sanyukta turned to him and raised an eyebrow asking what.

Randhir : Its just funny how fate put us together everytime Sanyukta. I mean look there were so many people so many chits yet you are the only one to recieve my name in it and no one else. Like come on what are the odds for this to happen. See even feet wants us to be together and you are here running away from me.

Sanyukta : Randhir, Fate is like a strange, unpopular restaurant filled with odd little waiters who bring you things you never asked for and don't always like. There is so much about my fate that I cannot control, but other things do fall under the jurisdiction. I can decide how I spend my time, whom I interact with, whom I share my body and life and money and energy with. I can select what I can read and eat and study. I can choose how I'm going to regard unfortunate circumstances in my life-whether I will see them as curses or opportunities. I can choose my words and the tone of voice in which I speak to others. And most of all, I can choose my thoughts. And I choose that we being far away is better no matter what fate tries.

Randhir (chuckles) : Sanyukta, Fate is never fair. You are caught in a current much stronger than you are; struggle against it and you'll drown not just yourself but those who try to save you. Swim with it. and you'll survive. Every person has the power to change their fate if they are brave enough to fight for what they desire more than anything. And i desire for you more than anything you may be against fate but i am with it let's see who wins. And let me tell you i have more chances of winning.

Sanyukta : Don't be too sure of yourself Randhir cause the taste of loosing will be too hard for you to digest.

Randhir : I thought you knew by now that Randhir Singh Shekhawat always wins. (winking at her)

Sanyukta chose not to reply and instead played the radio so that rather than drowing within her thoughts that were so messed up she could just soothe herself with the only thing now that gives her happiness that is music. Randhir too didn't speak further not wanting to start a fight with her.

Soon after the long drive they reached there and met Aryan and Sanaya. Sanyukta was happy that finally she could have some fun time along with her friends who loved her too much. They got in the hotel and after check-in and changing clothes they planned to meet at the lobby to decide what to do further.

Sanyukta along with others had already reached there and were waiting for Randhir to come. They were talking on random topics when Sanyukta felt a presence behind her and she was about to turn when she felt a pair of hands covering her eyes and whispered in her ears
"Guess who??"

Sanyukta smiled and squealed saying "Rajveer!!" When at the same time Randhir came to the lobby.
