Randhir walked to the gang with his girlfriend but his eyes were searching only one person on the table. Before he could ask he saw her exiting the canteen from the corner of his eyes and shook his head in sadness.

They both sat at the table and all looked at him with a wicked grin.

Tanya : So mind telling us who is she???

Randhir : She is Ishika Khanna. My...

Ishika : His girlfriend (smiling widely)

Kritika : Uhh... of course. Nice to meet you. By the way i am Kritika... and she is Tanya, they are Joy and Vishad (pointing at each of them)

Ishika : Nice to meet you guys too. Randhir told me a lot about you all.

Tanya : So how long are you going to be here??

Ishika : For approximately 10 days as it is Randhir's birthday and well i can't miss it.

Vishad : Hell.. when is it??

Randhir : This coming Sunday!

Tanya : Well... wow we an plan something as it is a holiday on Friday so we have a long weekend to go to.

Vishad : Right... we can go to Central Coast. Its one and a half hour drive from here. We leave on Friday morning and enjoy the week end there. My dad has got passes for the opening of a new hotel so we get to have stay at cheaper rates. Plus also there are some events taking place at the hotel for promotional purpose so we can enjoy them... and not to forget we always can go to beach.

Kritika : Good plan but not to forget we all have work on Monday and if we arrive late then surely we will slog all the way in office and probably get in trouble.

Joy : Or we can just come earlier on Sunday and have rest of the celebrations at there home afterwards. Cause that house is no less than a paradise.

Tanya : That sounds perfect!! I am up for it.

Even Vishad and Kritika nodded in agreement.

Randhir : Woaahh.. plans so soon. I don't think i would like to celebrate my birthday on such a grand scale.

Joy : Ohh please.. we just need a reason to celebrate. Don't steal it from us.

Ishika : I think we should go with this plan I like it. Please.

Randhir : Ishika...

Kritika : Come on.. Randhir... its long since we all had not gone out since long. It will just be a stress buster. Specially for Sanyukta who gives us break but never takes one. (Inwardly smirking cause she knew this would seal the deal.)

Ishika's smile slipped a little hearing about Sanyukta.

Randhir : Fine. Lets meet up in day after tomorrow that is Wednesday and turn everything in a concrete plan.

Tanya and Kritika squealed in happiness whereas Joy and Vishad high-fived hearing a yes.

Joy : Done.

Ishika : By the way i just wanted to thank you guys. Thanks for being there with him, being his friends and taking care of him when he first moved in here in this foreign land.

Joy : Oh more than us you need to thank Sanyukta... cause they though fight a lot and its kinda intolerable... they always have each others back and also they stay together so you know...

Vishad slapped a hand on Joy's shoulder to shut him up whereas Ishika's smile faltered hearing all this but still she didn't say a word.

An awkward silence reigned as no one spoke but it was soon stopped by the bell ringing which indicated the start of lecture.

Vishad : Uhmm.. lets get going and attend some lectures. Randhir will you be attending lectures today??

Randhir : Uh.. no.. i will just show Ishika around.

Kritika : Ohh.. thats great. See you around then.

Joy and Vishad went ahead as told by there respective girlfriends as Tanya and Kritika wanted to talk.

Kritika : So what do you think about Ishika?

Tanya : I dont know... she seemed sweet but i saw her smile vanishing just at the name of Sanyukta.

Kritika : Maybe they have met in India. You know and she might have not liked her cause well we all know that Randhir and Sanyukta have that chemiatry and love but are too fool to realise.

Tanya : Maybe... but introducing yourself as someone's girlfriend directly in the first meet is too childish and tells avout your insecurities. I mean your man should do it and not you yourself go around telling people like "Hey! I am his girlfriend!" Like dude give me a break. After few time you tell me that's understandable that you are opening up and all. But introducing yourself in such a way is so eww. Cause dude you have your own personality and that has nothing to do with you being someone's girlfriend or boyfriend.

Kritika : Okay... okay... why so hyper???

Tanya : Cause she didn't let my ship sail!! (whining)

Kritika : Huh!?

Tanya : Sandhir ship... i really wanted them to be a couple.

Kritika : Don't worry. They would surely be. Just about time. Have faith.

Tanya : Hope so.

Kritika : Yeah.. now let's go.. before we are super late for lectures.

On the other side Sanyukta though attending lectures but her mind was somewhere else. Her mind was going on repeating the view of Randhir and Ishika entering the canteen.

They looked so happy... moreover she looked so happy and she knew that she couldn't be the reason of someone else's pain. She has no right to take away someone's happiness.

Sanyukta's mind was a chaos all day long and all could see that there was something off about her today but none could fathom her inner turmoil. At work place they could see just the messed up files and wrong designs that had to be sent for correction a few times to her but still couldn't get the level of accuracy and so the work had to be transferref to the subordinates as the important files couldn't wait anymore but none knew about her important judgements that she was making in that chaotic mind which were as wrong and inaccurate as those files.

The word of her inefficiency has spread like a wild fire as it was not everyday you would see someone so great and efficient apoiling everything and the envious people were making more stories and taking there revenge in those talks and playing that evil game but none could understand the evil game already her fate was playing with her life. The moment she had felt of telling her only love the truth about her feelings destiny had given it right on her face the point why can't she be together with her love.

Aryan had stopped quite a few times by her cabin and tried talking to her and bring that turmoil but to no avail as she didn't speak anything about it and everytime he returned disappointed. He thought Sanaya would be helpful but even she wasn't there in the office to get him any answers.

As the evening appeared Sanyukta wrapped up her belongings and drove back home and cooked for all the three as she had a idea that Ishika would be staying with them.

She was waiting for them to return and was worried as it was already too late. She wanted to call Randhir but she didn't want Ishika to feel that she was intruding.

As the clock struck 11.00 se heard the jingles of the keys and when she looked at the door in came Ishika and Randhir.

Sanyukta : Hey! (Smiling genuinely)

Ishika : Hi Sanyukta! (Faking a smile)

Sanyukta : Long time ha!!

Ishika : Yeah.. long enough.

Sanyukta : You guys must be tired. I made you both dinner. You can have it and then you both can rest.

Randhir : Umm.. Sanyukta...

Ishika : Sorry to say but Randhir took me on a date and we had our dinner there.

Sanyukta : Oh..

Randhir : It was just a dinner not a date.

Ishika : Oh come on Randhir.. girlfriend and boyfriend going on a dinner is a date. Right Sanyukta??

Sanyukta : Ye.. yes.

Ishika : See.

Randhir : Whatever makes you happy. (rolling his eyes)

Sanyukta : Anyways you can go in that room. That is the spare one so go and take rest i will see you in the morning then.

Ishika : Haha.. Sanyukta... you are such a kid. I will stay in the room my boyfriend is in. I will share the room with him. I don't need spare rooms.

Randhir's eyes widened hearing that and he looked at Ishika witha glare whereas Sanyukta's heart pained hearing all this and thinking of there comfort level with each other and how muchin love they were to share the same room.

Sanyukta : Umm.. you are right. Then i will leave you guys here as i need to go and sleep. I have a early start tomorrow.

Randhir was about to say something but he didn't even get a chance as Sanyukta walked away fastly.

Randhir (turned towards Ishika and glared her) : What the hell Ishika??? Why did you say that we are going to share a room!!?? What will ahe think about us!! We have already discussed that you will be staying in that room.

Ishika : I was just having fun Randhir. Its not like she has to know what we do. I am not hurting anyone in this... right!?

Randhir : You know what go to your room and take rest. I will talk to you tomorrow.

Ishika nodded slightly and walked towards her room and closed the door whereas Randhir removed a frustrated sigh. He had no idea where his life was leading everything was a mess.. he had just few days ago told Sanyukta to go with the flow but he had no idea it was a hell of a tornado and everything is so messed up.

Randhir went to kitchen and filled a plate with food knowing for sure that Sanyukta had eaten nothing as the food seemed prettymuch untouched and no dishes in the wash basin just proved his assumptions more.

He went to her door and knocked it softly and waited for her to open. And Sanyukta who was gazing at the ceiling scrambled fastly towards the door as she thought Ishika was in need of something.

Sanyukta : What happened?? Does she need something??

Randhir : No.. but i need something.

Sanyukta : What??

Randhir : For you to eat this food.

Sanyukta : I have already eaten.

Randhir : I know you haven't as the dishes are not even touched.

Sanyukta : I have eaten. Now go i need to sleep.

Randhir : I want to talk to you.

Sanyukta : About??

Randhir : Us!

Sanyukta : There ia nothing between us to talk about.

Randhir : There is. I just want to say that whatever Ishika said about sharing the room and all was nonsense. She was just having fun nothing else. You know she is childish sometimes.

Sanyukta : Well.. whatever you guys do is none of my concern i dont care!

Randhir : Really so.. you mean to say you aint affected seeing me with her??

Sanyukta : No!! (Looking away)

Randhir : So you mean to say those firat kiss we shared and the ones that followed meant nothing!?

Sanyukta : No. (Still not looking at him)

Randhir : Really!?

Sanyukta : Our first kiss was a drunken mistake and the ones that followed was just a crime in which we were breaking someone's trust but now is the time to forget all that and move ahead cause now that mine eyes are opened i have learnt that we can't hurt a sole and create a bigger crime.

Randhir's blood boiled hearing the word mistake for those wonderful kisses and he held Sanyukta's hand tightly.

Randhir (dangerously in low voice) : Remember... never call them a mistake... NEVER! And if i mean nothing to you. If all those things meant nothing to you. I will show you then what everything is. What i am to you and you are to me cause you can leave this fight but i know this time i can go even on a battle for you cause i have had enough of your tantrums and ways and now it is my game and totally in my style.

Saying this he jerked her backwards and walked out of her room leaving her in shock and worried.
