◇◇◇ 3 Days Later ◇◇◇

Randhir and Sanyukta left for Canberra at 7 in the morning as it was a 4 hour long drive and they didn't want to be late for the meeting to be held at 2.00 pm in the afternoon. Randhir was driving the car whereas Sanyukta was sleeping comfortably on the passenger seat. It was drizzling on their way and Randhir once in a while would glance at Sanyukta to check she was fine or not.

By 11.30 Randhir had parked the car in the parking lot of the hotel and then shifted to look towards Sanyukta who was still sleeping comfortably. A smile formed on his face looking at her sleeping form. She looked like a baby curled up on the seat. After admiring her for few minutes he thought of waking her up. Randhir shook her lightly.

Randhir : Sanyukta wake up!!

Sanyukta : Uhhmm...

Sanyukta turned around and again slept.

Randhir shook his head and tried to wake her up once again.

Randhir : Sanyukta... wake up!!

Sanyukta : 5 minutes more please...then i will drive and you can take rest.

Randhir : We have already reached now wake up.

Sanyukta : What! We reached... why didn't you wake me up??

R : Well.. i didn't have the heart to wake you up when i saw you sleeping now get up sleepy head i need to take some rest and then get ready for that meeting cause i am tired like hell.

They both there respective little baggage they have brought with them and walked towards the reception of the hotel.

Sanyukta : Please provide us with the rooms booked under the name of Sanyukta Agarwal and Randhir Singh Shekhawat.

Receptionist : Mam.. there is no booking in the name of Sanyukta Agarwal but there is surely one in the name of Mr. & Mrs. Shekhawat.

Randhir : Mrs. Shekhawat!??

Sanyukta : I am sure you are mistaken we had 2 rooms booked by the FITE college for the meeting that is going to be held here.

Receptionist : No mam only one room was booked by your college and that is in the name of Mr. & Mrs. Shekhawat. And here are the keys of the room.. and..

Sanyukta : Wait.. i will call and check on this.

Sanyukta called Kritika.

◇◇◇ On call ◇◇◇

Kritika picked up the call.

Kritika : Hello Sanyukta.. you reached??

Sanyukta : Yes.. i did... tell me what did you do??

Kritika : Well.. i am at college with Tanya and i just did the assignment. Why are you suddenly interested in my work suddenly!

Sanyukta (rolls her eyes) : Not that you baboon head.. you just booked one room here in the hotel.

Kritika : Uhh.. no.. no i booked two rooms as much as I remember.

Sanyukta : Dont lie...

Before she could say anything further Randhir took her phone and said...

Randhir : Hey.. Randhir here... its okay.. i guess there was some miscommunication we will just settle it up here.. good bye.

Saying this Randhir hung up the phone whereas Sanyukta was glaring him.

Randhir : Can you just give one more room.

Receptionist : I am sorry sir but all the other rooms are booked as it has started to rain heavily out there and as even you guys were late we have gave your room to someone else and we have only one left and that is the honeymoon suite which we would be given to you both.

Randhir : Okay.. we will take it.

Sanyukta : What are you saying!!??

Randhir : Listen Sanyukta i am hell tired and it's not like we have to stay here all night its just few hours then we will leave so lets adjust for these hours.

Sanyukta : Fine!

Randhir took the keys and walked towards the  elevator. Receptionist smiled at Sanyukta and chipped "Happy stay mam!😉"

Sanyukta gave her a small smile and followed Randhir.

◇◇◇ At College ◇◇◇

Kritika and Tanya grinned looking at each other after the call.

Kritika : We are so evil!

Tanya : I know right.

Kritika : But its for them... they both stay in the same house but still i can see some differences in them. Though they are now friends but to be good friends one needs to remove the past differences if any and as per my research they surely have few cause according to me they have already studied in same college but still behave like they are new friends so i hope this will help them sort there diferences out.

Tanya : Yup... if you are right then they should truly sort them out and be boyfriend and girlfriend. They will look so cute together.

Kritika : Now you are thinking of too far. Not so much can happen in few hours.

Tanya : Well there is nothing bad in hoping. But what if they took one more room in that hotel.

Kritika : Not possible. I have already spoke to the receptionist she wont provide them with another room.

Tanya (grinning) : That's great!

Randhir was resting on the bed while Sanyukta got ready for meeting. She felt sorry for him that he had to drive all the way whereas she was sleeping peacefully without any care of the world. After she got ready she woke him up and after they both were ready they both attended the meeting which took 5 hours to complete and made them hell tired.

Soon they found themselves in the room packing to leave when Sanyukta checked the cell phone and saw 5 missed calls of Aryan. She was about to call him when it buzzed again.

Sanyukta : Hello... what happened!?

Aryan : Sanyukta don't leave Canberra now cause there is Thunderstorm going to take place. Stay in that hotel tonight.

Sanyukta : What!?

Aryan : Yup.. check the news.

Sanyukta hung up the call and switched on the TV and changed to the news channel.

Reporter: There are high chances of Canberra being hit up by a tremendous Thunderstorm tonight so its preferable for the people to stay inside there houses or at any other safe place. Though as per the weather forecasters it will be mild and there is nothing to panic but still its advisable to stay in and let the night pass by. For more information keep on watching ABC News.

Sanyukta : Damn!! We can't leave tonight.

Randhir : I was going to tell you about this... Vardhan Sir messaged me to not to leave the city.

Sanyukta : Yup.. seems we are pretty stuck up here.

Randhir : Right.. in the same room.

Sanyukta : Yeah.. lets just have dinner and then go to sleep.

Randhir (naughty grin) : Aww.. you are so eager to sleep with me?? You should have told me we didn't have to come this far you know.

Sanyukta : Randhir you are gross and keep your fantasies with you cause you are going to sleep on that couch!

Randhir : But we are husband and wife remember!?

Sanyukta : What!??

Randhir : You don't remember what that receptionist said room is in the name of Mr. & Mrs. Shekhawat. (Winks at her.)

Sanyukta : She just did a mistake.

Randhir : I don't think so.

Randhir started walking close to Sanyukta and with his every step front she took a step back.

Sanyukta : Wh...What a..are you doing!???

Sanyukta's back soon touched the wall and Randhir was standing few inches away from her and he bend towards her and blew little air on her right ear and Sanyukta closed her eyes as a shiver ran down her spine.

Randhir (whispers in a husky voice) : Why not make the best use of this room!

Sanyukta (whispers) : Randhirrr...

Soon Randhir starts laughing and the tarnce in which Sanyukta was still there was broken and she was looking at him dumbly and her face has turned into the colour of a ripe tomato.

Randhir : Ohh..oh god... its... its so easy to scare you.. to tease you... i.. i cant believe it!! (Still laughing)

Sanyukta : You Shekhawat!!!

Sanyukta hits him on his stomach and walks out of the room. Randhir groans in pain but follows her anyway still laughing.

Randhir : You should have seen your face.

Sanyukta : Uggh.. stop it.

R : You know i don't mind doing what i said!!

S : Stop it will you before i kick you.

R : Okay okay sorry mam now stop being so snappy!

S : Huh.

Dinner was accompanied with Randhir's little teasing and other talks. Soon they made there ways to the room and switched on the TV to check the updates about the Thunderstorm. The reporter was still blabbering about the Thunderstorm's past occurrences and the damage it has done before. They switched off the TV and changed into their nightwear's.

Randhir was on the couch thinking and Sanyukta was on the bed busy chatting with Vidushi when Randhir popped out a question from no where.

Randhir : Sanyukta!

Sanyukta : Yup!?

Randhir : Why did you leave India?? Was this job that important?? Important than everything else?

Hearing this Sanyukta sat up straight on the bed and Randhir too sat straight.

Sanyukta : Why.. why are you asking me this now???

Randhir : I just wanted to know.

S : There is no point talking about this now Randhir. This thing is long gone... dead and buried.

R : And i still want to know. Tell me.

S : You didn't wanted to know it then so why bother knowing it now!

R : Cause... it has been eating me. I knw 2 years back i behaved with you wrongly and i am sorry. I really am. But i want to know why you left everything?? Why you left me!

S : It wouldn't change anything now Randhir just let it be!

Randhir got up from the couch and sat beside her and held her hands.

Randhir (softly) : Tell me please.

Sanyukta looked at there hands and then at him and his eyes which were pleading her to speak and that did everything she spoke her heart out then and there.

Sanyukta : I had no choice Randhir. This was the only thing I could do.

Randhir : What do you mean??

S : Either it was this job or marry one of his friend's son and then stay home forever.

R : You could have told me.. we could have found a way out of this.

S : You don't understand it.

R : So make me!

S : Randhir! At my house everything is not that simple... there is competition in every damn thing. I was being compared for every little thing. I.. i always wanted them to be proud of me but they never were. I got 91% but there was someone who had in 95%. All i heard was only if i had concentrated more.. studied a bit hard than i would have been the one to get that. I achieved something but.. but there was always someone who did better than me and then i was the one who lacked the quality. I wanted them to be proud of me... make them the happiest but i never could.. cause there was always some or the other fault. And please don't think that i hate them or they didn't love me cause they always provided me everything but sometimes people need the affection and not things not the materialistic stuff. Then the day came when he announced this either marriage or the job. If i declined the job and think of one there than i would lack the potential of working out or working in the best. So according to them rather than wasting my time in some indian MNC marry me off to some rich brat who likes me. And i wanted to prove myself so without a thought i left everything and came here. To prove myself and make them proud.

Sanyukta had tears in her eyes but ahe blinked them away and gave him a sad smile. Randhir looked at her and hugged her tightly.

Randhir : I am sorry. I called you all the names then without knowing your reasons your thoughts! I am so sorry.

Sanyukta : Its okay!

R : No its not! I called you names, shouted at you, hurt you... i am such a bad person.

S : No you are not.. you just thought things and by that time i had already hurt you a lot so i understand for you thinking all that so its better to let everything go. Lets forget it.

R : Hmm.. lets sleep.

S : Yeah.. too much of sentiments.

R : Haha.. yeah.

S : And you can sleep here.. couch is too small for you.

R : I knew you want me.

S : Uhh... go back to the couch you idiot person.

R : Kidding... sleep now.

Soon Sanyukta was asleep from all the exhaustion whereas Randhir was still sitting beside her and thinking all the information he got.

R : I will make up for all the pain i gave you unknowingly i willl try to make you the happiest.

Randhir kissed her forehead and smiled adoring her face.
