Merry Christmas Eve everyone 😉

Ochaco walked with the girls into the auditorium. It was really cold so they all brought coats, but what they didn't expect was for it to snow. They walked into the auditorium and music was blaring throughout the hall. People were chatting and without the girls there no one was really dancing. The teachers were there, along with Kasumi and Ms Joke, who accompanied Mr Aizawa. All Might had a suit that fit him for once, Midnight wore a very skimpy dress as expected and Mr Aizawa had his hair in a man bun at the back of his head. Ms Joke also looked rather unlike herself in a gorgeous dress without her signature hat. The other teachers were there too like Hound Dog, Present Mic, Vlad King, Cementos and even Principle Nezu, they all seemed to be enjoying themselves. The auditorium looked great too, the lanterns hung above and spelt Plus Ultra, lights lined the walls and above them streamers and a giant faux tree with decorations, lights and a giant star on the top. Ochaco looked around at the hall. Her eyes landed on Kirishima. He wore a black suit and a red tie, he looked really nice in one if she was honest, his hair hadn't changed one bit, it was still spikey, but then again most of the guys didn't do anything with their hair. She watched as he walked over to Bakugou. Like Kirishima he wore a black suit but skipped the tie, he wore a red shirt, the same colour as the necklace she wore. As if they could sense her staring they both turned to look in her direction and Bakugou's jaw dropped at the sight. She blushed and turned her head away. Suddenly a mop of green hair and two sparkling green eyes popped up in front of her. She let a shout escape from her mouth at the sudden appearance.

"Deku! You scared me!" She scolded and he laughed loudly. "It's not funny!" she pouted.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you," he laughed, "wanna dance with me," he pointed to the dance floor where a few students were dancing to an upbeat song, Mina and Toru were among them. Toru was a fun experiment, they managed to make her almost completely visible, and Ojiro couldn't keep his eyes off of her.
"Uh-" she started but Kasumi grabbed her shoulders suddenly.
"Sorry Deku-kun," she teased, "Ochaco and I have business to attend to first," she looked at Ochaco, "Remember?" She gave her a pointed glare and Ochaco's eyes widened. She'd completely forgotten about that.
"Oh right! I completely forgot, but maybe after I'm done, we can?" she suggested.
"Oh, sure," he said suddenly very off, she wasn't sure what was with him but he was acting weird a lot lately and she didn't understand why. Kasumi tugged her arm and dragged her away to a secluded part of the auditorium.
"So, do you remember them?" Kasumi asked
"I've been practising all week so yes," she smiled.
"Great, we've got to get ready, and I'll find you a companion for the second one," she nudged her. Ochaco nodded and Kasumi rushed her off to the spot where they would wait. They walked up the stairs, their heels making noise but the music was loud enough to drown it out. She walked to the middle of the floor and stood waiting for Kasumi to return.

It didn't take long before she came back, and the music went quiet. Kasumi gave her a wink and they stepped forward as quietly as they could. Kasumi's heels were thicker than Ochaco's but Ochaco's seemed to make more noise. Kasumi fixed her dress, it was a blue off the shoulder lace dress with lace sleeves that came to her elbows, it fit beautifully, and the skirt flared out and reached her mid-thighs. She wore a pair of navy blue heels. She took a deep breath and Ochaco checked if she looked okay as well. There were murmurs on the other side of the stage curtains. Ochaco and Kasumi looked at each other and nodded. The music started and they looked forward and started singing as the curtains opened.

The hall erupted in applause and cheers at the display, and the lights shut off on stage and in the hall but the curtains stayed open. She hung her head and removed the microphone from the stand, it was wireless microphone so she could move around, Kasumi grabbed both of the stands, hers still had the microphone in it, and walked off stage, Ochaco took deep breaths and she heard people asking what was going on, until someone pointed out the lanterns and what they spelt out, now that they could see it better.
"ALRIGHT! I hope you guys enjoyed the Christmas carol! But now it's time for a gift from our Hero Course students!" Present Mic called out loudly. The music started up and the lights on the stage were put on 21 seconds and she started singing.

The chorus approached and she expected to sing it alone but a male voice could be heard faintly in the distance. She looked around to see if she could find out who it was, but she couldn't see anyone.

A few seconds of the instrumental played and footsteps were heard as the mystery man walked on stage and a gasp was heard from the audience. She whipped her head to where the footsteps came from and she caught the sight as he started singing his part. Kasumi said she'd find a boy to sing the duet with her but she never expected her to pick her brother. Ochaco stood there in shock as Bakugou started to sing.

Ochaco had gotten over her shock after hearing him sing, his voice astonished her and she recovered enough to sing again.

Before the second bridge, during that soft instrumental she stood in front of him, feeling breathless, she didn't understand why but it felt like he was singing those lyrics to her. She felt her face heat up and pink dusted her cheeks, she could see a small blush on his face too, and she felt something in her heart, a warmth as she sang the next lines, remembering her necklace and feeling as if this was all connected somehow...

They danced through as they sang and the music slowed and they stopped right in front of each other breathless, panting as they stared into each other's eyes, she felt herself get lost in them. The applause erupted from the audience breaking the moment and reminding them that there were other people around. She turned to face them and curtsied sweetly and gestured for him to bow, which he did reluctantly and they walked off stage. Ochaco was breathless and blushing heavily. She turned to speak to him but he disappeared. She looked around as the music started up again and Kasumi, Mina, Toru, Tsuyu and Momo came running to her.
"Wow, you two have such chemistry!" Mina exclaimed.
"No, not really, that was just an act," Ochaco shrugged.
"Uh uh!" Mina waved a finger in her face, "That was very intimate, come on are you sure you don't like him? Mina teased.
"What? Me? Like Katsuki? No," she stuttered.
"Katsuki?" Toru squealed. "You're on a first name basis?" Her face lit up and she smirked.
"What? He asked me to call him by his first name," she shrugged. "Let's go grab some food, I'm hungry," She said walking to the food table.
"You go, we have something to do quickly," Momo said pulling the two outside. Ochaco grabbed a paper plate and grabbed some food before sitting down on a chair nearby. She finished eating and sat for a little bit, watching the students dance, Deku was dancing with Pony. She watched and saw Bakugou dancing with Momo, they seemed to be deep in conversation about something.

"Hey Floaty!" Someone called, she turned her head to see Kirishima grinning down at her.
"Kirishima!" she beamed. He gave her a pointed look, "I mean Eijiro,"
"Clever girl," he teased. "Care for a dance?" he asked, sticking his hand out.
"Sure!" she took his hand and he danced with her to a semi-upbeat song. They danced for a few more songs, she even danced with Kaminari before Deku interjected. The two spoke about the dance and how nice the place looked. They danced to a slow song and it felt like he wanted to say something.
"Ochaco, I wanted to say I'm sorry about earlier, I wasn't thinking straight," he said to her.
"It's okay, I forgive you, just don't do it again," she smiled.
"I was wondering if you could go out with me again, after winter break?" he asked.
"Oh, yeah, as friends," She smiled, feeling odd.
"Oh right," he said. The song ended and they separated.
"I'm gonna go relax a bit," she smiled and walked away. She sat on the chair and watched people dance, she sat there for about half an hour before Bakugou sat next to her.

"Hi," he said.
"Hey," she smiled at him.
"Tired of dancing?" he asked.
"No, just resting a little," she said.
"Care for one more?" he asked looking down before standing up and offering his hand. He had a huge blush on his face and he averted his eyes.
"I'd love to," she smiled and took his hand. He led her to the middle of the dance floor. A slow song played and they danced, they didn't stand too close to each other, normal dancing distance. He seemed very shy and he wouldn't look at her for very long.
"Katsuki?" she asked. He hummed and looked at her. "Did I do something wrong?"
"What? No!" he exclaimed. "why do you think that?" he looked at her with concern in his eyes.
"Well since the dance you've been avoiding me, you won't even look at me," she said, "I thought we'd become friends, so I worried that I did something to push you away,"
"No you haven't," he said "I just thought you might find it weird at how we danced on stage," he said looking down,
"I liked it, it was a lot of fun, you were really in character," she smiled at him, "Plus I didn't know you were such an amazing singer!" she giggled. He smirked and pulled her into him, connecting the space between them. Her face was inches away from his, her eyes were wide and a blush dusted her cheeks.
"I guess I'm just full of surprises," he whispered, the smirk still on his face. She felt her blush intensify. He looked up and she did the same, they stood right under some mistletoe. Her part of the decoration committee hadn't put it up as far as she knew, it must've been a new development. She looked down at him as he did the same. She wasn't sure what he was going to do.
"May I?" he asked. She looked at him with wide eyes unsure as to what to say.
"Uhm... I-" She stuttered, she didn't understand why she was stuttering so much it was a simple question. She nodded shyly, it wasn't as if he hadn't kissed her before. He gave her a sweet smile before closing his eyes and placing a soft kiss on her forehead. She blinked in astonishment, not expecting him to kiss her forehead. The song ended promptly after and he stood there looking at her for a few seconds that felt like hours, she looked at his gorgeous red eyes and knew she could get lost in them, but that brought the memory of her soulmate, with striking red eyes. They had stopped dancing and she opened her mouth, her mind sure of her question but he cut her off.
"Thank you for the dance, I really enjoyed it," he said moving back and taking her hand before lifting it to his lips, placing a soft gentle kiss on her knuckles. He was so soft with her, she enjoyed it, his soft sweet side was an uncommon occurrence. He let go and walked away, giving her one last look as he left, leaving her question unanswered. 'Are you my soulmate, Katsuki?'

She started walking to the chairs, it was late, 10 minutes to midnight, 10 minutes to Christmas. They planned on having a countdown to Christmas like the one they have for New Years. She felt someone grab her arm behind her. She spun around to see Deku.
"Deku hi!" she said.
"Hey, wanna have another dance?" he asked.
"Ochaco!" Someone called. Kirishima appeared soon after.
"Hey Eijiro," She said looking at the redhead.
"Sorry Izuku, I need to borrow her," he said to the other boy.
"I had her first," Deku said, very childishly.
"Excuse me! Do I look like a toy or a prize? I'm human you know," She said ripping her hand away.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean like that," He said, "I'm sorry, please dance one more with me?"
"I don't mind if it can wait?" she looked at Kirishima.
"One dance, then you come with me okay?" He asked.
"No problem," She smiled and Deku led her off, They danced to another slow song and once it was over she asked to go to Kirishima.
"Oh come on how urgent could it be?" he said. "One more dance,"
"I can't Deku, I made a promise," she argued. She tugged her arm away and walked but he grabbed her arm again.
"Please one more dance, we can watch the countdown,"
"Deku I said I would!" she pulled her arm away. As if in cue Toru showed up and grabbed Deku's arm.
"Deku, dance with me!" she said as she dragged him to the dance floor. Ochaco took the opportunity and ran to Kirishima who waited with Kaminari at the food table.
"Sorry I only had a chance to get away now," she said.
"No problem, but Toru won't be able to hold him long, let's go," he said and grabbed her hand and pulled her outside. She ran with him out of the auditorium to a secluded spot of the school. It was a small cottage, it was used to store the gardening club's tools. The surrounding area had lots of trees around it and lots of flowers. There was a bench in front of the cottage and a wire archway between the bench and the cottage. This was a place people usually confessed.

"This place is beautiful," she said.
"I know, have a seat, I'll be back in a moment," he said. She sat down on the bench her back to the cottage. She sat there and waited for him to get back. The snow had stuck, and there were footsteps everywhere. People had been here. She felt the wind blow and it sent a shiver through her. All of a sudden she felt something on her arm. It felt like pens, many of them. She lifted her arm up and looked at it. A multitude of drawings appeared on her arm. She was confused but entertained at the drawings, she giggled as they tickled her arm and appeared. There were cute drawings and silly drawings and happy drawings, some were just funny. She sat in the snow admiring the drawings on her right arm. They stopped suddenly when there was no more space on her right forearm. She felt a pen on her left arm, only one this time, a heart was being drawn on the top of her arm, then he wrote something.

'Follow your heart,' it said, and he drew a line with an arrow at the end. He started to write more but before she could read what it said Deku ran towards her yelling her name.
"Deku? What are you doing here?" she asked as she stood up.
"Ochaco, don't do it!" he said when he reached her.
"What are you talking about?" she asked.
"Deku back off!" A female voice said behind her.
"No Kasumi!" he said, Ochaco turned to see the two girls standing there.
"You had your chance, let him have his turn!" Mina called.
"What's going on here?" Ochaco asked.
"Ochaco, come let's go watch the countdown," Deku called desperately and grabbed her hand and tried pulling her away. Kirishima came out of nowhere and grabbed Deku's arm.
"You had your chance to confess, you're not her soulmate, let him do this!" Kasumi called. The four of them started shouting at each other, arguing over something, she looked down at her arm and read what it said.

'Listen' he wrote. She thought back to the first time where he told her to listen and his name would be revealed. She closed her eyes and listened. The whispers returned, they got louder and louder. The whispers becoming clearer and clearer, louder and louder until she heard it. Loud and clear she heard his name. She opened her eyes and gasped, silencing everyone instantly. She felt his hand wipe away the text, and write something new. Everyone stopped and looked at her, she lifted her arm to her face.
"I love you," His voice rang out, reading the text out loud. She turned around to see him. She knew deep down, she knew who he was, she'd always known. She looked at him as the countdown was heard. 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, MERRY CHRISTMAS! The boy that stood in front of her was...
