6hrs of fitness camp

I woke up in my soft bed to the yelling of my sister since she just found out about the summer camp. I ignored that and changed into some lose shirt and pink shorts. I put on a cap and some sunscreen after I packed myself a sandwich and orange juice. Then I ate some cereal and brushed my teeth. Down on my watch it said 8:30. Just in time. My mom was already waiting and so was Cynthia. I ran out the door wondering how the camp would go.
The car ride was about 5 min until we got to the place. I got of with my skinny legs shaking and my head all dizzy with nervousness. When I entered the club it was not so crowded- it had many sections for other camps. Oh, this might not be that bad I thought. I looked around the club and found a stand that said fitness camp. Cynthia somehow found the stand too, so we both ran toward it, my mom close behind. There, there were girls and boys probably the age of 13-16. As I was walking to sign in a man asked me how old I was and I said 12. He had brown hair and a green cap. He also had a tag on his shirt that said staff. Too young. He said all of a sudden. Yes! I thought as I skipped up to my mom. Mom? I am to young to be in this camp, the staff even said so. I said with a smile on my face. Yeah I know. She blurted out. I arranged things with the manager and told him that I want my two kids in the same camp this week since I have work. My smile faded away. A few minutes later at 9:00 all the people in the camp lined up and we all went to the field. Cynthia and another girl were next to me as we did exercises. The girl didn't look like she wanted to come either. She was very pretty. Everybody get a partner and grab a basketball! The coach said on the 20th jumping jack. Sweat rolling down my cheeks I asked the girl if she would like to be my partner. Gladly she said yes and we grabbed the last ball in the bin. Name? She asked. Agnes; but I prefer Aggie. And you? I asked shyly.  Ella. Well actually Stella is my real name but no one calls me Stella except my parents. She has brown hair and brown eyes. She blushes a lot and always has a smile on her face.

That's her ( she's 13)
As we dribbled the basketball back and forth from one end of the court to the other we talked about so many things like siblings, health, school, what Collage we would go to and so much more. 6 hours went by so fast with all the fun we had together. The thing that cheered me up the most was that Ella lived around Monica and I. At the end of the day I knew I would become great friends with her. My first day of summer camp was not so bad after all.
