Cameron's P.O.V.
"Can you please come for dinner tonight babe?" My mom is cooking a big dinner and invited me over. I really wanted Shawn to come.

"Did your mom invite me Cameron?"

"She doesn't have to because I am."

"I don't know. I've never met your mom before."

"She'll love you. I just know it."

"Are you sure Cameron?"

"Yes Shawn. It would make me so happy if you came." I was hugging him now. We were on his terrace looking over the city. "Please babe?"

"Fine. I'll come."

"Yay! Thank you Shawn." I gave him a kiss on the cheek. "I'll be back in a few hours I'm gonna go get ready, and pack up a few things to bring over here."

"I can't wait for you to move in."

"In excited too Shawn." He was smiling.

"Love you. I'll see you later."

"Love you too Shawn. See you in a few hours." I gave him a kiss and left his apartment.

Shawn's P.O.V.
Cameron just left a few minutes ago. I wish I had something to do today. I've been so busy the past few months that when I finally get a break I have no idea how to chill and relax. I hear my phone ringing. I go inside to find it. Across the top it read "Dad."

"Dad, hello?"

"Is it true Shawn." What was he talking about?

"What are you talking about Dad?"

"Shawn are you gay?" Shit. I never actually called my parents and told them. Cameron tweeted it for like 2 minutes that one night but he deleted. I figured no one saw it. I should of called my parents and told them. Shit shit shit. "Hello, Shawn?"

"Dad yes. I am." There's silence on the other end.

"Hello Shawn?" It was my mom.

"Hi mom."

"Are you really gay sweety?"

"Yes mom. I am. I'm sorry I didn't tell you earlier."

"Shawn I love you but I don't think your dad is going to accept you. It would probably be smart not to call for a few days. I'll call you when I wanna talk." I felt hurt.

"Ok mom, I love you." She hung up. Are my parents really not going to accept me? Also had Cameron came out to all of our friends? Why have I not been thinking about this lately. I feel like I've been so distracted. I'll ask Cam when he gets here.

"Cam I need to talk to you." He sits down at the bar.

"Let's make it quick babe, my mom's expecting us in 30 minutes."

"Ok. So I was just thinking about us. And I was wondering if you've come out to all of our friends?" He thought for a moment.

"I actually haven't told them that I'm gay."

"You are going to right Cam?" My heart skipped as I waited for his answer.

"Of course I am Shawn. I'm not afraid to admit who I am anymore. I just haven't told them." He pulled me into a hug. "Is that all you wanted to talk about?" Should I tell him about my parents? No. He's in a good mood tonight. I'll tell him tomorrow or the next day.

"You ready?"

"Yup." he said. We walked out to his car.

"You driving Cam?"

"Sure." We get in and drive to his mothers house.

We pull into his mothers driveway. "So is this your childhood home Cam?"

"Yes." he said smiling. "Why?"

"Just wandering. Maybe I'll get to see baby pictures."

"Don't even think about bringing that up." he said laughing again. I leaned in and kissed him.

"I love you Cameron."

"I love you too Shawn. Are you sure you're ok?" He was holding my shoulders and looking into my eyes. I'll tell him about my parents tomorrow. I don't wanna ruin tonight's dinner.

"Yes babe. I'm fine." He didn't believe me. "I'm serious."

"Shawn I can tell when you lie to me. I'll figure it out by the end of the night."

"Fine. I just wanna get through this dinner happily." I say smiling. We get out and walk in. One small detail Cameron had left out about tonight's dinner was that it wasn't going to be just us. Apparently a lot of his family was visiting and they were all having dinner here tonight. I pull Cam aside.

"Hi, I'm Cameron's Uncle Sam who are you?" I went to answer but Cameron answered for me.

"Sam this is my boyfriend, Shawn." He gulped down the large drink he had in his mouth.

"Did you say boyfriend?" My heart was racing. I am so terrified.

"That's right Uncle Sam, my boyfriend whom I love with all my life." I felt my cheeks blush. He reached his arm down and interlocked our hands. He wasn't gonna act straight and lie this time. I look at him smiling. "Is there a problem Uncle Sam?" Cameron questioned his uncle.

"Oh no. Not at all. I just didn't know you were... were..."

"Gay?" Cameron says laughing.

"Yes. Gay." he said laughing

"It's not a bad word you can say gay." They were both laughing.

"I'll see you guys later." His uncle walked away.

"Cameron." I say cutely.

"I love you Shawn. And I'm not afraid to tell anyone." He was holding my face with both of his hands and kissed me.

"I love you too Cameron."

"Hungry?" He was walking me to the kitchen.

"Kinda." His mom Gina is standing by the oven. She has just pulled a very large looking lasagna out of the oven.

"Hey Cameron." she says pulling him into a hug. After the hug she turned and looked at me. "And who is this handsome young gentleman?"

"I'm Shawn." I said reaching out my hand. She shook it.

"You can call me Gina, Shawn."

"When's dinner gonna be ready mom?"

"In a few minutes actually. Why don't you tell everyone to start sitting down." I went to walk away with Cameron. His mom grabbed my wrist. "I just wanna talk to him alone. For just a minute."

"Mom?!" Cameron said annoyed.

"It's fine Cameron." I say smiling.

"I'll be right back."

"I'll be right here." I say laughing. I turn back to his mother.

"So what'd you wanna talk about Miss Dallas?"

"Call me Gina, Shawn. Seriously!" she said laughing.

"Sorry Gina." I say laughing. Why am I so nervous? What did she wanna tell me? What if it was bad. I don't want anymore drama right now.

"I just wanted to tell you something Shawn." She sat down the knife she was holding. "My Cameron has never had a boyfriend before." Oh God. What was she going to say. "I just want you to know that I've honestly never seen him look so happy. He has a sparkle in his eye that didn't used to be there. I just wanted to say thank you Shawn." She pulled me into a hug. She was so sweet.

"That's so sweet Gina. Thank you."

"And by the way. If you ever hurt my Cameron..." I cut her off.

"I'm never going to intentionally hurt Cameron. I love him more than anything on this Earth. When we're apart I feel like I'm missing half of myself. Your son is my number one priority."

"Thank you Shawn." she said. I felt arms wrap around my waist. The arms turn me around and I'm face to face with Cam.

"I love you Shawn." he says laughing. He pulls me closer and we kiss.

"I meant every word of what I just said Cam."

"I know Shawn. That's the amazing part." We kiss again.

"Time for dinner everyone!" yells Gina. We walk to the dining room to have dinner.
