Naruto swallowed the last of his meal and pushed the small tray away. He held his arms out in front of him and waited for Kabuto to bind him once more. Kabuto noticed this motion and slowly walked towards his young prisoner. He grabbed Naruto's arms and pulled them behind him before wrapping and tightening the ropes around his wrists.

"Up," Kabuto said impersonally. Naruto tilted his head in confusion. Kabuto gave an impatient sigh and lifted the young ninja roughly up by his underarm. Naruto blinked in confusion. "Wait... Why? Don't I get to rest now?" "Not today." He was led out of his cell and into the halls of Orochimaru's base. He tried to gauge his position and which way they were headed but without his sight, this was difficult. He decided to give up and let his body be dragged by Kabuto.

After a while he heard a door open and he was dragged through it. He took a few more steps then the floor left him, he was falling. His heart jumped and he braced himself for the impact of the floor.

"Ngh!" He hit it hard and his shoulder ached. "Ouch... That hurt."

"Oh, I'm sorry Naruto-kun," Kabuto said mockingly. I forgot you couldn't see... I'll be sure to let you know next time." He chuckled.

"Bastard," Naruto scowled. He sat up and waited. Where was he? He heard bubbling sounds close by.

"Where am I now?"

"Another room."

Naruto clicked his teeth. He could hear Kabuto's footsteps shuffling slowly somewhere .

Their pace quickened and became louder. He was getting closer.

Suddenly a pair of fingers grabbed under his chin. They lifted his head up and pulled his mouth open. A bitter taste filled Naruto's mouth. Instinctively he swallowed, but he instantly wished he hadn't. His throat seared and swelled as the liquid flowed down. He coughed as he tried to breathe through the pain. His eyes watered as he gasped for air.

"Oh calm down," Kabuto scoffed.

Naruto wanted to grab his throat but his arms were still bound. He squirmed and writhed as the pain increased. He screamed, the sound echoing and filling his ears. He wanted the pain to stop. He wanted to breathe. He wanted it all to end. Tears fell down his face and then his world went black.
